Inside of her castle and sitting upon her throne, Lilithmon rested her head upon her left shoulder, her right arm tapping away at the armrest as she waited for AxeKnightmon and BelleStarmon to return from their mission.
Letting out a bothered sigh, Lilithmon was growing impatient and bored with waiting, each second that passed left her desiring vengeance further and further.
But snapping herself from her boredom state, Lilithmon rose from her throne, deciding to have a little fun and bring a little chaos to the Digital World as she rose her arms, gathering her dark power within her claws, which brought three dark figures before her.
Concentrating her darkness, three Digimon appeared before Lilithmon, a pair of plant based Digimon, one holding a more colourful chimera-like form, the other seemingly made of rotting wood and looking close to decaying from its less lively appearance, while between the plant Digimon stood a behemoth made of shining silver crystals, the crystals ran along its back, thick muscular arms and around its face, leaving it sharing a similar fearsomeness as the plant Digimon, Toropiamon and Entmon.
"I have a mission for the three of you. I want you to cause a little chaos in the Digital World. Keep me entertained and show everyone why they should be scared of Lilithmon, and what my power can do!" The Demon Lord declared with a further dark smile, grinning to the dark power she held at being able to conjure up such wicked creatures.
Obedient to Lilithmon, Gogmamon nodded in reply, before taking his leave, followed as Entmon and Toropiamon spread their wings out, flying out the windows of the castle with a pair of terrifying and chilling cries, leaving the Demon Lord with a dark and growing grin.
-Back at Piximon's-
Five hours had passed since the Digidestined had first entered the chamber, Gennai and Piximon having waited patiently for Tai and the others to make their return.
Currently, Gennai and Piximon were sitting at the table set within Piximon's lounge room, the pair enjoying cups of tea as they played a deep game of chess.
"What do you think? How are they doing in there, Gennai?" Piximon questioned as he moved his knight forward, toppling Gennai's rook, the Digital being contemplating his next move as he looked upon his queen and said in reply. "Knowing them, they're trying their hardest, and we'll be impressed with the results."
Soon enough, the pair stop their game when they heard the doors that led to the chambers start to open, revealing the Digdestined and their partners, with the Digimon retaining their overall forms, while most of the Digidestined looked as though their training had been a success, with their clothing looking a little worn out for wear, though their bodies and overall beings showed improvement.
Overlooking the male Digidestined first, Gennai and Piximon could see a fair physical change within the Davis and the others, noticing their muscles were bigger, their bodies more developed, which was also seen within Izzy, Joe and Cody's figures.
"Hey, Gennai, Piximon, we're back. Have Kari and others returned...?" Davis began to ask, wishing to speak to Kari, and to see how the training was for her, but found his sentence cut short as the second door of the chamber started to open, revealing the girls and Hawkmon.
Looking over the girls as they exited, showing their own physical growth, Tai, Ken, Matt and TK felt their heart rates increase to see the changes within Sora, Yolei, Jun and Catherine, seeing their own training had left the girls with more slender builds.
And noticing the way the boys were staring at them, Jun giggled as she set her right hand behind her head, posed and then asked. "So, Matt, how do I look?"
"You look amazing." Matt said in reply, approaching Jun as he set his arms around her and engaged her in a deep and longing kiss.
Though the pair had only been separated for a few hours, the chambers had more of a mental effect upon the Digidestined, leaving them more longing and open to their emotions, evident as Sora slid her arms around Tai and kissed him deeply.
"I missed you, Tai." Sora let out, breaking her kiss as to express her emotion/longing/love toward the Digidestined of Courage, before kissing him again, moaning as she felt Tai's hands running along her back and through her longer orange hair.
"And we missed you." Catherine then said, speaking for her and for Floramon as the pair looked upon the more developed forms of TK and Patamon.
"TK, you look much more handsome now." The French Digidestined found herself adding, blushing as she looked upon TK, admiring his body and his developed chest.
Perplexed by the way Catherine, Floramon, TK and Patamon were reacting to one another, Davis and Veemon found their attention drawn to Kari and Gatomon, leaving the boys both blushing a little to see the changes within the Digidestined and Digimon of Light.
Though Gatomon's appearance remained roughly the same, but in his eyes, Veemon continued to see the beauty of the feline Digimon, looking upon Kari, Davis felt his heart skip a beat, seeing the brunette showing a greater maturity in her appearance, with her hair now passing her shoulders, her body holding more of an athletic build, while her kind smile continued to warm his heart.
"Wow... Kari..." Davis found himself saying, approaching the brunette, his blush growing further. "You look amazing..."
Blushing herself, not only to Davis' praise, but to seeing the changes occurred during his training, seeing the Digidestined of Courage and Friendship shirtless and revealing his more muscular body left Kari in a similar state.
"Th... thank you, Davis..." Kari let out, blushing and stuttering a little, feeling as if this was the first time she and Davis had met, before the Digidestined of Light found herself saying. "And you really good yourself..."
Shaking off the initial feelings of seeing Kari, Davis expressed a more sincere smile.
"I bet you're just glad to see TK after three months worth of training." The maroon haired Digidestined then said, still believing Kari and TK were dating.
However, feeling a tug at his pants, looking down to see Veemon looking upon him with concern, Davis' attention was turned toward the Digidestined and Digimon of Hope.
Looking at TK, confusion filled Davis to see TK and Catherine sharing a deep kiss, expressing a clear passion in their actions, leaving the confusion turn to anger within Davis, who then approached the Digidestined of Hope, grabbed TK by the collar of his shirt and pinned him against the wall, the sudden aggression shocking the rest of the Digidestined.
Stunned, Yolei questioned. "Davis!? Have you lost your mind?"
Ignoring Yolei's questioning, Davis remained staring at TK with a growing anger as he then snapped. "WHAT THE HELL, TK! I CAN'T NOT BELIEVE YOU. SHE'S YOUR GIRLFRIEND AND YOU GO CHEATING ON HER!?"
Tai and Ken grabbed both Davis' arms, pulling him back as Ken asked in confusion. "Davis, what's going on with you? Why did you attack TK?"
"This jerk is flirting with another girl right in front of Kari!" Davis said in anger, look back at TK, causing the girls' eyes to widen as they realized what was wrong, that Davis still thought Kari and TK were dating, and that in his mind, TK was trying to cheat on Kari right in front of her.
While flattered by Davis' attempt to protect her honour, Kari knew she had to say something before Davis ended up hurting TK badly.
However, Sora ended up beating her to the punch as she placed a hand on Davis' shoulder and said with a calming voice. "Davis, please let him go. He isn't cheating on Kari, he and Catherine are together."
Davis blinked his eyes in confusion, turning his head back to TK, who nodded his head nervously in reply, where TK remembered the day before the attack of AxeKnightmon and BelleStarmon.
'Now I understand why Davis congratulated me, he thought that Kari and I were dating.' The Digidestined of Hope thought, feeling a little embarrassed at the misunderstanding, but also understanding of Davis' protectiveness and care toward Kari.
"It's okay guys, let him go." TK said with a more relaxed voice as he looked to Tai and Ken, seeing the pair trying to help as they restrained Davis.
"This was all a big misunderstanding. It was all misread feelings." Patamon spoke up, glad Veemon's jealousy wasn't as aggressive as his partners, but still apologetic that things had turned so distrusting.
"Veemon..." Gatomon just said, looking upon the Digimon of Miracles with a small blush, realizing the feelings Veemon held for her, to the point he'd give her up to make her happy.
"Davis, now I understand... That day, when you congratulated us. You thought we were dating, but I already have someone I really care about, it's Catherine." TK informed, approaching Davis with a continued calm nature as he then said. "I do love Kari, but only as a friend, or as the sister I never had. I'm sorry about this big misunderstanding, but on there is a bright side to this, you can still tell Kari your feelings."
"Make Kari the luckiest girl in the world." The Digidestined of Hope whispered encouragingly as he rested a supporting hand on Davis' shoulder, only to hear the sound of a throat clearing, causing him to look and see Catherine glaring at him, this causing TK to then chuckle and say. "I mean second luckiest."
Davis only felt his confusion grow from TK's remark, but found he had no time to think on it as the entire house began to shake, followed as three loud and terrible roars were heard from outside.
"It appears Lilithmon wasn't waiting around during our training." Renamon remarked, sensing the residual darkness of the Demon Lord emitting from outside of Piximon's establishment.
"Then let's stop these party crashers." Davis said in reply, showing his continued/renewed determination as he and Veemon braced themselves against Lilithmon's latest attack.
In agreement with the Digidestined of Courage and Friendship, the others followed Davis and Veemon, the group heading down the halls of Piximon's household, making their way outside, where they saw the three Digimon Lilithmon sent as to spread her continued darkness and dread throughout the Digital World.
"Man, are they ugly!" Mimi let out upon seeing the three Ultimate Digimon, who let out snarls as they looked down at the Digidestined and their allies, expressing their distemperment and spitefulness toward their perceived enemies.
"Toropiamon, Entmon and Gogmamon. Three very powerful ultimates, do not underestimate them." Piximon told the Digidestined, knowing that this would be a tough fight for them, unless their training paid off.
Davis stepped forward as he turned and looked amongst his friends, saying with a confident smile as he took the role of leader. "Matt, Izzy, Mimi and I will take on Entmon, while Team Tai, which of course will be Tai, Sora, TK, Catherine and Kari, will take on Toropiamon."
"Finally, Joe, Cody, Jun, Ken and Yolei will take on Gogmamon." The Digidestined of Miracles said as he looked at the groups, where his eyes passed Kari for a moment as he thought. 'I want Kari to be safe, and I know Tai will protect her.'
While most of the group nodded in agreement to Davis' grouping, Kari couldn't help but frown that he didn't want her fighting alongside him, but pushed her hurt feelings aside, knowing that she would have to talk to him once the battle was over.
Drawing their Digivices and D-3s, the devices all shone with a series of powerful lights, evolving the Digimon, leaving the Digimon all standing before their partners with might in their more powerful forms.
-With Davis' team-
Taking on the decaying Digimon that was Entmon, ExVeemon, the Mega forms of Tentomon and Palmon, HerculesKabuterimon and Rosemon made haste as they flew toward the decaying creature.
With their training, Tentomon and Palmon's strength had increased vastly, their Mega forms radiating with power as the duo carried MetalGarurumon and their partners toward Entmon.
Thought Davis and the others knew taking on such a threat would put them in danger, the Digidestined of Miracles, alongside his friends no longer wanted to just stand back and watch their partners fight, but to stay by their sides and show their support.
From its position, taking notice of the flying Digimon heading toward him, Entmon let out a terrible screeching cry, before delivering the first attack to their battle.
"Blasted Disaster!" Entmon bellowed, expressing a fury in its voice, spewing a dark gas from its mouth and toward Davis and the others.
"Thorn Whipping!" Rosemon announced in retaliation, striking her thorn covered whip down, cracking through the dark mists before her, which dispelled Entmon's attack.
However, reeling in her whip, a dread filled Rosemon to see tiny segments spreading along her weapon, seeing it rotting apart.
"Guys, we have to be careful with this one." Rosemon called to her friends, overlooking Entmon's decrepit body and adding. "If we get hit by Entmon's gas, it'll eat away at us until there's nothing left."
"Then we'll have to strike from a distance if we're to stop him." HerculesKabuterimon suggested in reply.
In agreement with HerculesKabuterimon, Davis, Matt, Izzy and Mimi clung tightly to the Digimon of Knowledge's back as he proceeded closer to the plant Digimon, accompanied with MetalGarurumon in a pair of claws, alongside ExVeemon.
"Mega Electro Buster!" HerculesKabuterimon bellowed, charging up his free hands with a set of sparking electrical orbs, which he then threw at Entmon.
"Metal Wolf Claw!" MetalGarurumon followed up, opening fire with a breath of frigid winds.
"Vee-Laser!" ExVeemon called, striking last, but with a clear might as he released a powerful stream of energy from his chest.
Though the trio of Digimon unleashed a great onslaught with their attacks, looking upon Entmon, the Digidestined were taken aback, seeing the dark gas leaking from Entmon's body and suddenly spreading out, forming a barrier around the plant Digimon and protecting it from harm.
Confused, Davis asked. "How is that gas able to protect Entmon?"
"All along Entmon's body are small bugs, which emit that gas/mist/fog." Izzy informed, before theorizing. "My guess is the bugs share a symbiotic bond with Entmon, keeping their host protected as they feed off what plantlife remains on Entmon's body/feed off the data Entmon provides to them."
"So in order to defeat Entmon, we have to wipe out all his bugs?" Mimi questioned, overlooking Entmon, seeing the black mists pouring from his maw, seeing the mass of tiny insects secreting down his fangs, causing her to remark. "Easier said than done. It looks like Entmon's got millions of those things coming out of him."
"And I'm guessing those bugs are continuing to multiply." Rosemon added, she too wondering how to defeat such a behemoth.
"We can't give up." ExVeemon spoke up, refusing to sink back to his doubtful past. "Even if we have to take down each of Entmon's bugs one by one, we have to beat him!"
Agreeing with ExVeemon, Davis and the others remained focused, their sights set upon the rotting beast that was Entmon as they prepared themselves for round two.
-Meanwhile-
As Davis' team made their presence known to the dark forces of Lilithmon, so too had Tai's collective of Digi-heroes, with the Digidestined of Courage leading his friends toward the tropical chimera.
Giving a more primal cry to seeing the Digimon heading toward it, taking note of WarGreymon, Phoenixmon, MagnaAngemon, Gryphonmon and Angewomon, a red energy gathered within Toropiamon's mouth as it gave another battlecry.
Releasing the red energy as a stream and toward Tai, WarGreymon and the others, the group quickly divided, finding the residual effects of Toropiamon's attack leaving nothing but decay and ruin.
"We've got to be careful. One hit from Toropiamon's Tropical Venom, and we're finished." Angewomon called to the others, sensing the dark energies of Toropiamon still filling the atmosphere.
Nodding in agreement with Angewomon's warning, from Phoenixmon's head, Tai, Kari and Sora kept a firm hold upon the Digimon of Love, while Catherine set her arms tighter around TK, holding the Digidestined of Hope close to her as the pair rode upon Gryphonmon's back.
Moving in closer to Toropiamon, avoiding a continued array of energy blasts from the plant Digimon, WarGreymon prepared himself as he delivered the first blow.
"Great Tornado!" He bellowed, spinning rapidly and furthering his speed as he shot toward past Toropiamon's attacks, looking as though he would make a clean hit.
However, before WarGreymon could strike Toropiamon, WarGreymon was taken thrown off guard as giant pollen spores poured down from Toropiamon, which suddenly erupted, consuming WarGreymon in a series of blasts.
"WarGreymon!" Tai called in concern, seeing his partner thrown back from the blast, his armour a little scuffed up and showing faint signs of damage.
"Looks like pulling stomping this weed will be harder than I thought." WarGreymon remarked as he looked over Toropiamon, seeing the plant Digimon deploying more pollen spores, which acted as a defence mechanism.
But refusing to allow their training go to waste, and to keep fighting for everything and everyone they cherished for, the Digimon remained strong.
"Crimson Flare!"
"Celestial Arrow!"
The combination of Phoenixmon's flames and Angewomon's light plunged through the sky, striking toward Toropiamon, who continued to fight back, showing his relenting power as he gathered another stream of red energy in his mouth, casting it out as a great blast, which collided with the forces of fire and light, setting the sky ablaze in a powerful explosion.
Groaning, Tai and the others clung tightly to Phoenixmon's head as the uproar continued to spread, while TK, Catherine and Gryphonmon were thrown off guard as Toropiamon shot from the explosion, ramming itself into the mythic Digimon.
"Catherine!" TK cried out as the impact knocked the the French Digidestined from off of Gryphonmon's back.
But acting quickly, as Gryphonmon recovered from Toropiamon's assault, the mythic Digimon flew after her partner, with TK extending his arms toward the falling form that was Catherine.
"Just hang on!" TK called to Catherine, keeping his arms out as Gryphonmon moved in closer and closer to her partner, increasing her speed and shooting past the French Digidestined, allowing TK to then catch Catherine, leaving the French Digidestined in a deep embrace within TK's arms.
Concerned after such a harrowing feat, TK looked upon Catherin and asked. "Catherine, are you alright?"
"I am now." Catherine replied, expressing a growing warmth as she looked upon the Digidestined of Hope with a smile, admiring TK for his heroics.
'TK...' Catherine then thought as she continued to stare toward the Digidestined of Hope, looking at his more serious expression, which left her thinking. 'You have saved me twice now, but you don't need to worry about me again. I won't become the damsel in distress again, but I'll show you just how strong I have become.'
"This overgrown weed is tougher than it looks." WarGreymon commented, expressing a continued seriousness toward the plant Digimon, where Phoenixmon added. "I have a feeling Lilithmon's dark power is furthering its strength, just as she had with MadLeomon."
Sharing Phoenixmon's concerns about Toropiamon's power, overlooking the plant Digimon, and seeing it charging for another attack, concern overtook TK, who alerted his friends.
"Incoming!" He shouted as Toropiamon 's spores shot forth and around the Digimon, looking ready to detonate at any second, furthering the intensity from the position the Digidestined and their partners were set in.
As Toropiamon's spores spread around the area, spreading around WarGreymon, Phoenixmon, Angewomon, MagnaAngemon and Gryphonmon, the skies turned to more of a minefield for the Digidestined, the five forced to rush through the air as to avoid the erupting spores.
Though Phoenixmon did what she could to avoid the spores, her gargantuan size was now working against her, leaving the Digimon of Love shaken as many of the spores around her detonated, blasting away at her body.
"Phoenixmon!" Sora called, expressing a concern for her partner, before gripping Phoenixmon's head, feeling the Digimon of Love continuing to shake around from the growing uproars around her being.
"Keep close to each other... I'll be alright..." Phoenixmon spoke up, knowing the attacks were damaging her, though her concerns were more focused on Sora and the other Digidestined atop her head, knowing the dangers they were in.
'We need to find a way to get rid of those things before they blast us apart.' Tai thought, his concerns for WarGreymon, Sora and the others growing from his position, before a plan came to mind, where he turned to TK and yelled. "TK! We need MagnaAngemon to use his Gate of Destiny to absorb the spores!"
Nodding in reply to the Digidestined of Courage, overhearing the plan, MagnaAngemon focused himself, channeling his power within the purple energy blade extending from his wrist, drawing his arm in a circular formation and creating the Gate of Destiny.
Noticing the Digimon of Hope initiating his attack, Toropiamon released a quick stream of rotting energy from its mouth, planning to eliminate MagnaAngemon during his attack.
"Heaven's Charm!"
"Solo Roar!"
Showing their support and their growing bond to the Digimon of Hope, Angewomon and Gryphonmon flew before MagnaAngemon, protecting him from Toropiamon's assault, casting out a stream of pink light, alongside a great blast of sonic waves, dispelling Toropiamon's attack and allowing the angelic Digimon to complete his own attack.
"Gate of Destiny!" MagnaAngemon then announced, his seal complete, which then opened before him, creating a powerful wind, drawing in all the explosive pollen, clearing the sky and allowing the others to move freely once again.
Letting out a roar of rage to its opponent's continuing to defy it, Toropiamon sank its claws into the ground, holding tightly as the Gate of Destiny sucked up all its spores, furthering Toropiamon's cries.
Shaking its head and continuing to bellow wildly, Tai and the others could see Toropiamon refusing to let go, refusing to allow itself to be sucked into the Gate of Destiny.
"Hey, weed face! You're going to take a trip, one way or the other." WarGreymon declared, shooting down at Toropiamon, who continued to show its defiance, retaliating as it released another blast of red energy.
"Great Tornado!" WarGreymon called back, increasing his speed, his body spinning around rapidly, turning to a tremendous tornado form, cutting through Toropiamon's attack and through the ground, smashing the area with a great display of power, leaving the plant Digimon howling furiously as it was thrown to the air and drawn within MagnaAngemon's attack.
As Toropiamon's being was pulled within the Gate of Destiny, the doors sealing shut as all of Toropiamon was successfully sealed within, MagnaAngemon dispeled his attack, allowing the Gate of Destiny to fade away, the sight bringing a relieved sigh to MagnaAngemon and the others, at seeing their strength and their teamwork had fallen Lilithmon's latest dark servant.
"A valiant effort." MagnaAngemon declared, expressing his pride within himself, within TK and their friends.
Nodding in reply, TK kept a smile upon his face, sharing the satisfaction that came with defeat Toropiamon, which grew as he felt Catherine snuggling herself deeper in his arms.
Though Tai's team remained in a good mood, feeling their training had indeed improved them, the Digidestined knew their battle against Lilithmon and her dark forces was far from over.
-Back at the castle-
Having returned to her throne and using her dark power to observe the destruction her servants had caused through a conjured dark flame, Lilithmon felt her frustration growing.
Not only was she still impatiently waiting for AxeKnightmon and BelleStarmon to return to her, but seeing Toropiamon bested by the Digidestined infuriated her.
Her claws digging into the arms, scraping up the wood, Lilithmon felt her fury/rage/hatred toward the Digidestined fade briefly as the doors in front of her/to her chambers started to open, revealing AxeKnightmon and BelleStarmon.
Though she couldn't read AxeKnightmon's expression, seeing the confident grin BelleStarmon expressed, it was clear to Lilithmon that they had succeeded in their objective.
"My Queen, we have done as you commanded." AxeKnightmon said, continuing to express a more loyal side toward the Demon Lord, even kneeling before her once again.
"Those Digimon lost within the Dark Ocean are now part of your team." BelleStarmon added, expressing a continued grin through her more enthusiastic and less subservient side.
"Welcome to my domain, Blastmon, UltimateChaosmon, Megidramon and Argomon." Lilithmon said, expressing a dark grin as she overlooked her new dark servants. "I have ordered you to awaken so you can carry out my desires. The Digital World will be thrown into darkness by my hand, and you will help me in destroying the Digidestined and their annoying pets."
"It shall be an honor working for you, Lady Lilithmon." Blastmon said in reply, crouching down and kneeling alongside AxeKnightmon.
"Your will shall be carried out and chaos will take over this world." Chaosdramon added, he too showed his devotion to Lilithmon and her dark design.
"I don't care who I work with So long as I can destroy is all that matters to me." Megidramon then declared, expressing his hunger for destruction, his desire to tear and up destroy, leaving Lilithmon grinning at the corrupt Digimon and his rage induced enthusiasm.
"You will have your chance to destroy," Lilithmon assured, turning her attention to AxeKnightmon and instructing. "And as for you, I have another mission. I'm sending you in to help and destroy the Digidestined. It appears I may have underestimated their strength, and I know you want some payback after a humiliating defeat."
Her dark smile growing, turning sinister, Lilithmon's gaze remained upon AxeKnightmon, staring him down as the Demon Lord added. "Of course, it goes without saying what will happen should you fail me again, do you understand?"
"Consider them defeated, Lady Lilithmon." AxeKnightmon replied, feeling a faint chill within, but remained calm as he rose to his feet and left Lilithmon's sight and her throne room.
The final moves were being played out, with Lilithmon willing to lose a few of her pawns should she gain the upperhand.
The battle against light and darkness grew deeper.
Back at the battlefield, during Toropiamon's defeat, the others remained fighting strong against Entmon and Gogmamon.
"Thunder Kick!" Sakuyamon, the Mega form that was now Renamon, announced, showing her continued grace and her power as the shaman Digimon leapt at Gogmamon, before slamming her right foot into the ore Digimon.
However, despite her strength and her efforts, looking to Gogmamon, Sakuyamon found her attack was no match to the crystal mass that made up the Digimon's body, which acted as a powerful shield.
Taken a off guard by her attack lacking any damage to Gogamon's being, the ore Digimon struck back, swinging his right arm and grasping Sakuyamon tightly, crushing her in his hold
"Sakuyamon!" Jun called, concern filling her to the sight of her partner in pain, before feeling the winds rush around her, seeing a red blur shoot past her.
"Bloody Finish!" BanchoStingmon announced with might as he pressed his arms into Gogmamon's, his upgraded drills spinning and drilling through Gogamon's arm, the attack and the pain that followed caused the ore Digimon to release his hold over his captive and back away instinctively.
"Looks like someone got an upgrade." Jun remarked, taking a moment as to admire Stingmon's Mega form, BanchoStingmon, before looking amongst her friends, seeing Ken showing a supporting and trustworthy smile.
"Friends will always there for each other when they're in trouble." Joe spoke up, his voice turning Jun and Ken's focus toward him, seeing the Digidestined of Reliability by Sakuyamon's side and addressing her injuries, wrapping her ribcage up with a line of bandages.
"And together we'll break through Gogmamon until he's Digi-dust." Vikemon added, expressing a matching faith and confidence to his partner, ready to help their friends.
Through their own training, Cody stood strong, standing beside Armadillomon's Mega form, SlashAngemon, the bladed angelic Digimon nodding to Cody's words and prepared to fight.
"We need to be careful with Gogmamon, namely his Curse Reflection, that's his most powerful attack." Valkyrimon, Hawkmon's Mega form, informed, warning his friends.
And noticing Gogmamon crystals starting to glow, The Digimon of Love and Sincerity knew what was coming next.
Grabbing Yolei and Joe, Valkyrimon spread his wings, shooting upward, followed as BanchoStingmon swept in and grabbed Cody and Ken.
Her injuries treated, Sakuyamon set her arms around Jun, leaving Vikemon and SlashAngemon sweeping aside as all dodged Gogmamon's unrelenting blast of light, which tore through the area.
Astonished by the sheer power of Gogmamon, at his Curse Reflection, the Digidestined and Digimon looked upon the ore Digimon, seeing it panting after the attack began dying down.
"Looks like that takes a lot out of him." Jun remarked as Sakuyamon set her down and alongside her friends, finding the shaman Digimon looking upon Gogmamon with worry, seeing Gogmamon bringing its right arm up and tearing within, devouring the crystals along his arm, which gave him back his energy.
And returning to his feet, looking renewed and no longer drained, Sakuyamon and the others could see Gogmamon's arm repairing itself, regenerating the crystals he had consumed.
"This is going to be harder than we thought. If we damage Gogmamon, he'll just repair himself, and if we do attack, he'll just fire that energy back at us." Yolei said, seeing the ore Digimon's regeneration and restorative abilities.
"We have to wait for the right moment to attack." Vikemon said, keeping his morning stars drawn as the Digimon of Reliability remained close with his friends, the group waited rather than charging back into battle as they tried to think of a way to best Gogmamon.
And after observing the ore Digimon, recalling its movements, Ken was the first to speak as an idea came to mind.
"I have a plan. While BanchoStingmon, SlashAngemon and Sakuyamon keep Gogmamon distracted, Valkyrimon and Vikemon will attack on the sides." The Digidestined of Kindness began to say.
"But if we attack, won't Gogmamon just blast us?" Valkryimon asked, missing some of the information to Ken's strategy.
"Strike after Gogmamon uses his Cursed Reflection and freeze him in place. The lowered temperatures will weaken his body and allow BanchoStingmon and SlashAngemon to deliver the final blow." Ken said in reply, bringing a proud smile to Yolei's face at her boyfriend's continued genius.
"Alright, let's do this." Sakuyamon said in reply, respecting the Digidestined of Kindness, before the shaman Digimon rushed toward Gogmamon, alongside BanchoStingmon and SlashAngemon.
Closing in on Gogmamon, their great speeds allowing the trio of Digimon to deliver quick blows to the ore Digimon, damaging Gogmamon enough as to set him off into a frenzy of rage and to pursue the bait Digimon.
"Giant Grater!" Gogmamon bellowed, brining up its hulking crystal arms and releasing a great barrage of crystals toward SlashAngemon
"Spirit Shield!" Sakuyamon retaliated, appearing before the Digimon of Knowledge and Reliability, where she produced a barrier of mystical energy around herself and around SlashAngemon, keeping Gogmamon's attacks repelled.
Looking toward Sakuyamon, SlashAngemon showed a smile, expressing his respect and his gratitude toward the shaman Digimon, before the pair looked on, seeing BanchoStingmon shoot toward Gogmamon.
"Depth Charge Sky!" BanchoStingmon announced as he threw a handful/collection/gathering of explosives shaped as tiny insects upon Gogmamon.
Blasting around him, Gogmamon brought his arms up, defending against the onslaught of explosives, while charging up in order to deliver his counterattack.
"Curse Reflection!" Gogmamon then bellowed, releasing the energy gathered within his being, striking toward BanchoStingmon, Sakuyamon and SlashAngemon.
Sweeping aside and dodging the blast, SlashAngemon called. "Now is your chance! Attack!"
To the call of SlashAngemon, Valkyrimon and Vikemon acted quickly, appearing on the sides of Gogmamon, drawing their weaponry as they prepared to attack.
"Arctic Blizzard!" Vikemon bellowed, releasing an icy wind upon Gogmamon
"Feral Sword!" Valkyrimon followed up, delivering a clean sweep with his sword, brining forth a swing of frigid energy which struck Gogamon's being alongside Vikemon's attack, causing the ice to spread around and encase the ore Digimon.
Seeing Gogmamon frozen in place, trapped within his icy prison, BanchoStingmon shot in, moving alongside SlashAngemon and Sakuyamon as the three prepared their final attack.
"Bloody Finish!"
"Golden Ripper!"
"Flaming Fox!"
Through their teamwork, the combination of BanchoStingmon and SlashAngemon cutting through Gogmamon, alongside Sakuyamon's inferno was too much for the ore Digimon to handle, to which Gogmamon shattered from out the core of the ice, his body breaking apart, collapsing into data with his defeat, leaving the Digidestined and their partners smiling, proud of their victory.
With Gogmamon vanquished, Ken, Yolei, Joe, Cody and Jun were pleased with themselves and each other.
But hearing the furthered cries of battle, the Digidestined knew they still had others to vanquish.

Back at the battle with Entmon, the decaying Digimon continued to expel the toxic gases from its body, releasing with it countless swarms of insects within the mists, forcing ExVeemon and the others to further their distance.
Fighting not only Entmon, but the many parasitic/toxic/poisonous insects living within his rotting body, the Digidestined and their partners found that despite his appearance, Entmon was a more lively and deadlier opponent than expected.
Releasing another deadly roar, Entmon charged toward Rosemon, aiming his tasks at the fairy Digimon as he tried to skewer her.
"Giga Scissor Claw!" HerculesKabuterimon quickly called, retaliating as he slammed his giant horn into Entmon, managing to knock back and repel the plant Digimon, but found his actions left the toxic bugs slowly gnawing at his form.
"HerculesKabuterimon, are you alright?" Rosemon asked, seeing the Digimon of Knowledge groaning a little to the toxic bugs continuing to slowly spread along his horn.
"I'll be fine." HerculesKabuterimon assured, shaking off the toxins and resetting himself back in the fight, his hard exoskeleton acting as a thick armour and providing a greater defence against Entmon's bug barrage.
Looking to HerculesKabuterimon, though the Digimon of Knowledge had more trouble with his facial expressions, being an insect based beast, looking to Rosemon, she could sense a smile upon Herculekabuterimon's face, one expressing his care, devotion and warmth toward her, leaving a warmth in her own smile and in her heart.
But finding Entmon refusing to give up, continuing to express his fury, Rosemon and HerculesKabuterimon had to refocus on their fight.
"Forbidden Temptation!"
"Mega Electro Shocker!"
Uniting their attacks as one, Rosemon cast forth a great series of rose petals toward Entmon, followed by a great onslaught of thunder from HerculesKabuterimon, the combined power clashed against Entmon's toxic barrier, only their teamwork allowed the attack to seep through, finally landing a clean hit upon Entmon.
Bombarded by the blasts and knocked back a little, Entmon gave a pain filled screech, this bringing a returning pride to Rosemon, HerculesKabuterimon and the others.
"A fine shot, HerculesKabuterimon." Rosemon said, both praising the insect Digimon and showing a clear affection toward the Digimon of Knowledge, this caused HerculesKabuterimon to give a faint blush, flattered and expressing modesty a little to Rosemon's kindness.
"I couldn't have done it without you, Rosemon." HerculesKabuterimon replied, trying to suppress the blush on his face, which Rosemon smiled at, finding the insect Digimon's shy modesty kind of cute.
Though the atmosphere around HerculesKabuterimon and Rosemon remained strong supportive, giving a sudden and viscous roar, all were alerted back to Entmon.
"I don't think he took that too well." Davis remarked, noticing Entmon thrashing his head around widely, while opened segments of his rotted body exploded with darkening gas.
With a great cry, Entmon then began charging at the Digimon, who moved out of the way of the rampant Digimon's tusks and feet as it moved around wildly.
Though ExVeemon and Angewomon were the last of the Digimon to avoid Entmon, the plant Digimon continued to spew forth its deadly gasses, which caught the pair off guard and slammed into them, this not only sending ExVeemon and Angewomon crashing to the ground, but both Digimon reverted back, turning back to Veemon and Gatomon, only both groaned, feeling the infectious bugs spreading and rotting their data.
Shocked at the sight of his partner, to see the blackness spreading along Veemon and Gatomon's struggling forms, Davis was then shocked to see Kari rooted in place by fear, especially as Entmon began charging in her direction.
"Kari! Move!" Davis yelled as he rushed to the brunette, pushing her and himself out of the way as Entmon's foot came crashing down where the Digidestined of Light was just standing.
Opening her eyes, Kari looked in shock to see Davis not only above her, but gritting his teeth in pain as he looked bruised slightly.
"Davis... why? Why did you risk yourself like that?!" Kari asked in concern, part of her believing Davis' maturity had erased his more reckless side, though looking down at Kari, at her beautiful face, Davis decided to come clean, especially if what everyone was saying about her and TK not being together were true.
"I... I didn't want anything bad to happen to you..." Davis said in reply, letting out a sigh as he added with a further emotion in his voice. "I want to tell you something... something that has been inside my heart for years... I tried to say that I love you... I love you, Kari Kamiya..."
Surprised at Davis' words, feeling her heart rate increasing, her emotions growing, Kari felt her love for Davis growing and expressing themselves as the Digidestined of Light approached Davis, set her arms around the Digidestined of Miracles and held him close to her.
"And I love you, Davis Motomiya..." Kari said softly, sliding herself closer to the maroon haired Digidestined and claiming his lips in a deep and loving kiss.
And thought caught off by surprise that Kari had finally kissed him, reacting to the warmth within him, Davis returned the gesture, kissing Kari back and leaving the pair furthering their expressed love.
From their kiss, their feelings revealed to one another, this was reflected as their D-3s shone with a powerful light, which the pair then withdrew from their pockets, finding the Crest of Miracles displayed upon Davis' screen.
As the light continued to expel from their Digivices, coming forth as a set of gold and pink light, this light then affected and consumed Veemon and Gatomon, removing the impurities of Entmon's attack from off of their bodies, where the V marked Digimon and the feline Digimon returned to their feet, feeling the strength and the emotion of their partners.
'This light... I can feel Kari's heart... her love and care...' Gatomon thought, overlooking her partner, seeing the brunette so close to Davis, which brought a smile to Gatomon's face, feelings which grew as Gatomon felt Veemon set his hand around her paw.
"We have too much to call it quits now." Veemon said, expressing his usual determination, alongside his faith within those close to his heart, earning a supporting nod from Gatomon.
Accepting the feelings of their partners, and their own, Veemon's being broken down, turning to a pure orb of golden light, which made its way toward Davis, a similar occurrence falling to Gatomon as her feline appearance turned to a pink orb that became one with Kari.
Uncertain to what was occurring, but trusting their hearts and looking to one another with warm smiles, Davis and Kari drew their D-3s upward, announcing together. "Biomerge activate!"
Through their call, their D-3s response, unlocking a power set deep within the programming and allowing the Digidestined complete access to Veemon and Gatomon's power.
As the golden light became one with Davis, enveloping his being, the pink light formed around Kari, altering her appearance, which puzzled and astonished Tai and the others, while confusing Entmon to the display of power opposing him.
Allowing the lights to die down, in place of Davis and Kari stood two new Digimon, one holding the appearance of a great and noble knight, a Digimon looking to have many of Veemon's qualities in his appearance, which included the same blue shade in his armour, his helmet retaining the draconic features of the Digimon of Courage and Friendship, while a giant golden V was imprinted upon the Digimon's chestplate.
Beside the draconic knight Digimon was a more elegant, but powerful figure, an angelic warrior similar to Angewomon, which was clad in deep green armour and had twelve golden wings sporting from her back.
Keeping a confident stride in her appearance, and in her facial expression, the angelic Digimon held her arms forth, causing light to form before her, which she took into her possession, forming a golden javelin and a shield, furthering the amazement to those looking upon the two Digimon.
Looking himself over, the dragon knight Digimon felt amazement to his appearance.
"W...wow... We've become one with our partners Digimon. This is so amazing, right Kari? The Digimon, UlforceVeedramon, let out, his voice a combination of Davis and Veemon's, expressing some clear surprise at the position he was in, which grew as he looked upon the combined form of Kari and Gatomon.
Surprised at the angelic form that was Ophanimon, UlforceVeedramon continued to stare at the Digimon of Light, amazed by her growing grace and beauty as he asked. "K...Kari, is that really you?"
Finding herself taken aback but adjusting quicker to her position, Ophanimon nodded in reply, keeping a sweet smile on her face as she overlooked UlforceVeedramon.
"I am both Kari and I am Gatomon, just as you are Davis and Veemon." Ophanimon said, keeping up her warm and confident stride, even as Entmon's roars bellowed through the skies once again.
"Now what do you say we defeat this rotten weed once and for all?" She then offered, bringing a matching confidence to UlforceVeedramon, who nodded in reply.
Turning together, UlforceVeedramon and Ophanimon saw Entmon flying toward them, the plant Digimon closing in on the pair as it continued to bellow madly, spewing its toxic mists in the process, only the Digimon of Miracles and the Digimon of Light remained strong, both staying close to one another and showing no sign of backing down/away.
Acting to Entmon's attack, UlforceVeedramon brought up his left arms, a blade of pure blue energy extending from his bracelet, while Ophanimon drew her javelin toward the decaying Digimon.
"Victory Sword!" UlforceVeedramon then declared, boosting himself up, his speed astonishing Tai and the others, his appearance turning to a faint blue blur, which shot past Entmon, who suddenly let out an agonizing screech as a deep cut ran along the left side of his body and his left wing was all but slashed asunder.
The sudden damage inflicted to his body left Entmon with little control over his flight and was sent crashing down toward Ophanimon, his immense size looking as though he could crush her.
However, leaping toward Entmon's descending form, Ophanimon took the moment as a chance to strike, to deliver a great blow to Entmon.
"Eden's Javelin!" The Digimon of Light announced, expressing Kari and Gatomon's might, allowing a great energy to encircle itself around her javelin as she pierced herself through Entmon's head, leaving an awe inspiring trail of light behind her with her movements.
Her light cutting through Entmon, Ophanimon landed by UlforceVeedramon's side, the Digimon overlooking Entmon, who gave another defiant roar as his body broke apart, his physical being breaking down and leaving behind countless particles of corrupted Data, which then faded out of existence.
"We did it! Way to go!" Tai called encouragingly, proud of himself, of his friends, and proud of sister as he rushed over as to further express his pride toward UlforceVeedramon and Ophanimon, only to stop as the Digimon duo started to glow, before the energies which maintained their Mega Level forms broke apart, leaving Davis and Kari falling to their hands and knees, while the De-Digivolved forms of Chibomon and Nyaromon plopped to the ground, all four showing a clear exhaustion after using such power.
But ensuring Tai they would be alright, Davis turned his head to Tai, looking at the older Digidestined with a trusting smile as he gave him a thumbs up.
Smiling at Davis, seeing the continued strength of the Digidestined of Courage and Friendship, then looking to Kari and seeing just how strong his sibling had become, Tai extended his hand, offering to help Davis up to his feet, while Agumon picked up Chibomon and handed him to Davis.
Turning, Davis then helped Kari to her feet, the brunette scooping up Nyaromon and holding her close to her, before resting herself onDavis' shoulder, sighing a little to the comfort and closeness of the Digidestined of Miracles.
"Most impressive." Piximon remarked, flying over as to examine Davis and Kari, adding with a continued admiration. "It appears your emotion has unlocked a dormant stage/power/program/any ideas set within you/your Digivices."
"This power will be key in Lilithmon's downfall, but for now, let us rest. There's no point facing a Demon Lord in such a drained state." The petit sized Digimon then said, flying back toward his household, suggesting that Davis, Chibomon and the others rested and took time as to treat any damages to their beings before their confrontation with Lilithmon occurred.
With UlforceVeedramon and Ophanimon's power, the Digidestined believed they had a chance, to stop Lilithmon and end her darkness once and for all, but amongst the Digidestined, they too knew they had to harness their own power, that the true key to Lilithmon's destruction was their teamwork.
