Blueeyeddevil06, thank you so much for being my beta!

This was originally going to be 5 chapters, but I've added a sixth. Tomorrow I'll post a flashback chapter about the night they met. I hope this was a fun little story to read.

Serena and Darien spent the next three weeks in a cat and mouse game. He chased, and she slowly let him get closer and closer to her. Their nights were completely different. They luxuriated in each other's bodies and love.

As time passed, she saw how desperate he was for her. Not just her body but also her future. He clung to her and spoke of children and family. It warmed her heart. A heart that used to be so cold. So little managed to get through to her heart before him.

Mina had become a firm fixture in her heart at a young age. They were raised together, and she trusted her.

Trust was something Serena learned young that she couldn't afford with most people. She used to be trusting and open, and she was burned enough that she sealed up her heart and trust. Somehow Darien had broken through her walls immediately. She always teased him that it was because her libido wanted her to trust him since he was so sexy.

When her mother finally showed up, the truth of who Serena and Mina were was finally outed. And if they thought men pursued them before, it doubled once they discovered they were royal.

By then, it was too late. Her mother was insisting she marry Darien and Mina was desperately in love with Kunzite.

Serena laughed, "And here I thought you said you wouldn't fall for him."

"I am happy being wrong. At least he's sexy. I could have fallen for worse." She laughed unperturbed by her former pronouncement. "And really, a memory of things like that at a time like this is preposterous. I'm happy."

"Then I'm delighted for you, Mina. He adores you, and he might even prove worthy of you if he tries really hard," Serena teased.

Suddenly, Mina grew sad and changed the subject. "Your mother shouldn't demand you marry. She's been patient before. Why not now?"

"I told her I'd marry him." Serena shrugged. "She was so relieved she rushed right off and worked on getting the paperwork signed."

Mina was shocked, "You said you'd marry him?! I know you seem to have warmed up to him, but… are you sure?"

"I'm very sure. I'll be happy with him."

Mina looked at her skeptically, "I guess… it's just you said -"

"You were just talking about how there are times it's not good to remember what was said in the past. This is one of them. He'll be my husband. You should be pleased that we're marrying best friends."

"I'd be happier if I knew you weren't compromising."

"I love him!" Serena looked at Mina in frustration. She then took a deep breath. "I'm sorry. I've been hiding my feelings. It doesn't surprise me you feel this way."

"You love him?! How long?"

"Longer than you think. Month and months, really. I didn't think mother would let me marry him. Then when she said I could, I pretended to be unsure. I didn't feel I could explain why I would say yes after being so resistant to marriage for so long."

"You knew him before we came here?!"

"Yes, I pretended not to know him because…" Serena blushed. "Because I didn't want to explain to you how well I know him."

"How well do you know him?"

"You're going to be so upset with me. I shouldn't say."

"It's not like you're sleeping with him!" Mina said in frustration.

Serena blushed and looked down at her hands. "I have been."

"You're kidding. Was it good?!" Mina looked at her slack-jawed.

"THAT'S what you want to ask?!" Serena looked at her in confusion.

"It's too late to say anything else. So, how was it?"

"Incredible! You have no idea how incredible it is. He's so warm and so sexy. I…" She moaned. "I'm looking forward to being married to him."

Mina just chuckled, "Who'd have thought I'd be coming to you for sex advice? So, do you have any?"

Darien found his parents in his father's office with Serena's mother. "You called for me, father?"

"You're marrying Serena. The document is ready for you to sign. I don't want any trouble -"

His father was expecting a fight that he didn't get. He was cut off when Darien picked up the pen and signed the marriage contract. He then said, "When is the wedding?"

"In four weeks time." Queen Serenity said.

He nodded and left the office. He was on his way to see Serena. He wanted to see her smile and know he would be marrying her soon.

When he got there, she was talking with Mina, who gave him an odd look. She then quietly got up when he entered the room and left, saying, "I'll give you some privacy."

"What was that about?" He asked.

"She knows we're sleeping together. I thought she'd be upset. It turns out she's all for giving us time together. What brings you here?"

"I've signed the marriage contract. We marry in four weeks' time."

Serena smiled at him and stepped into his arms. "Tell me you'll be spending each night with me in bed."

"Oh Serena, I'm not going to ever part from you, but until you're my wife, I'll be sneaking in your bed each night."

She smiled up at him. "I love you so much."

"I love you too."

The End.
