Firestorm's Melody

Summary

Firestorm finds herself as PineClan's next medicine cat when Shadowpool is suddenly killed. Will Firestorm and Cinderpelt be up to the task?Especially if Firestorm is expecting kits?

Training In LightningClan

I awoke early the next morning at dawn, and Bluepool introduced me to LightningClan's leader, Leafstar, she was really nice and she excepted to let me stay in the Clan for a while. Bluepool and Lightningpaw both trained me and taught me about herbs and other things that I would need to know if I wanted to become a medicine cat.

"Hi Firepaw!" I turned to see Lightningpaw run up to me with a bright smile on her face. I had gained my apprentice name when Bluepool and Lightningpaw mentored me.

"Hi Light" I say, and she laughs quietly at the nickname. I had been with LightningClan for a few days now but I'm learning a lot from Bluepool. I really miss Cinderpaw, Leafpaw, Shadepaw, Nightpaw and Bluepaw. And I knew that I needed to get back to PineClan ASAP.

"You in there Firepaw?" Lightningpaw asked, tapping my head with a paw as I blinked and returned to my conversation with Lightningpaw, Willowpaw, Sparkpaw and Ivypaw. They were all nice friends but I wasn't as close to them as I was with my Denmates back in PineClan where I needed to be.

"It's just... It's just that I need to get back to PineClan" I say, and Willowpaw frowns and stares at me with sad green eyes. I sighed and looked down at my paws.

"But you've come so far in only a few days and we've all come to like you Firepaw, your a LightningClan born kit but yet you were raised in PineClan" Sparkpaw explained, and I nodded at her statement. I liked being here but my home, my heart, and my loyalty lies with PineClan.

"If it means that much to you Firepaw. We'll help you get back to PineClan." Ivypaw says, with a determined nod and a warm smile on her face. I smiled greatly at my friends as we made a plan of how to get back to PineClan.

"Your almost ready to become a full-fledged medicine cat!" Willowpaw exclaimed, with a bright smile and an excited swipe of her tail. I laughed at Willow's bubbly and energetic personality.

"I know right. Isn't that exciting?" I say, and they all nod their heads in agreement.

"C'mon Firepaw! Let's go see Bluepool, she has a few thing left to train you" Lightningpaw says, and I nod, stand up and follow her to Bluepool's den.

"Hello Bluepool" I greeted, as I entered the medicine den with Lightningpaw following close behind. The silver-blue she-cat looked up when I entered and she smiled at with pride shining in her eyes.

"Your Clan will be proud of you when you get back. You'll be a full-fledged medicine cat." I nodded, smiling widely at the thought of seeing the shocked faces of my Clanmates. But I had a secret that only my new friends and of course, Bluepool knew that I was expecting kits.

I had met a hansom tom while staying with LightningClan. He has jet black fur and amber eyes, his name's Blackstorm. I of course told hm the news and he was overjoyed, but he became sadden when I told him I had to leave an return back to PineClan.

"But Firepaw... what about our kits? We wouldn't want them raised in between two Clans would we?" He asked, and I sighed and looked down at my paws.

"I'll come back and visit Blackstorm, I promise" I say, and he nods and licks my face, causing my whole face to feel hot. I blushed and lowered my head.

"Bye Blackstorm, I love you." I say, giving him one last lick before heading into the tunnel that lead into The Pine Forest.
