"What on Earth happened Majo?" Krillin looked worried as he tried to examine Lee. It seemed bad because somehow the kid had absorbed someone else's ki. His pupil looked like he was suffering from first degree burns all over his body.
"I don't know Krillin-san, Mercenary Tao unleashed his Super Dodon Ray. Lee looked around then stood in place as the blast hit him. I don't know what he did, but the energy disappeared. He did save countless lives by doing it though." She was amazed as the dark green energy surrounded him. "Right after he delivered a devastating kick while covered in a green aura. That sent the assassin flying away at least several blocks if not more. I have no idea where the guy landed, but Tao's energy disappeared. So I think the old guy is out for the count."
Meanwhile 2 miles away...
A black unmarked van pulled up to the scattered remains of Cyborg Tao. "Who could have done this to my brother?" Shen the crane hermit stepped out of the van. Several other men wearing the green and yellow robes of his school followed. "Gather him up my pupils we will find out who did this when he wakes back up." He would make sure the Shadow Crane school got vengeance though it would probably take a few months to fix Tao.
The cyborg was in so many pieces that it would take longer than Crane hermit thought. So the old man decided to call their special doctor. "Doctor Myuu we have a problem Tao has been destroyed again. Is your offer for special modifications still on the table?"
The mutant machine responded after some laughter. "Oh yes Shen though thanks to someone disassembling him I'll give you a discount. Since I don't have to take the time. Even more reduction if you throw in some willing test subjects."
The martial artist paused a few seconds before answering. "How willing do they have to be?"
"I just want to be spared the annoyance of making them cooperate." The interplanetary doctor smiled over the video call.
"Fine, I can live with that! We'll bring Tao and the others later today." With a little anger the old master ended the call.
South City Main Street...
"Well girls I think I should take him to master Korin. Whatever internal damage he did will be fixed with a senzu bean. A doctor with our level of technology would take much longer." Krillin turned to the surprised sound Majo made.
"Wait Krillin-san, I thought master Korin was only a legend. Can I please go?" The young martial artist was practically bouncing on the balls of her feet in anticipation of the answer.
"Sure Majo, can you fly?" Krillin watched as her joy turned to sadness
"No Krillin-san, does that mean I can't go?" Hope rested in her eyes reguardless of her worries.
"Of course you can go Majo. However, if you wish to see him you must climb the tower with your own strength. I did that when I was about your age. It's very good training for someone at your power level." The human Z fighter smiled as the girl looked pleased, but wary. "As soon as Lee recovers I'll have him do the same. It's best to do before you learn to fly so you don't have that crutch. The senzu beans will have him feeling like knew nearly immediately."
When Majo was about to ask how to get there. Eighteen picked her up gently answering the unasked question. "Thank you Eighteen-san."
The blonde woman shrugged her shoulders. "Us girls have to stick together. Besides, I want another female fighter worth enough to help protect the Earth. The only other two I know are Bulma and Chi-Chi. The former is no warrior. Then the later is more concerned about making her child well educated over combat trained. Try not to lose your lunch we'll be traveling very fast." Without further discussion the woman took off at maximum speed for the land of Korin.
The bald man shook his head and laughed. 'So she wanted to race did she?' She would soon be surprised at how fast he could go. The four people reached Upa and Bora's tribe in no time at all. Krillin happily waved as his girlfriend arrived on his heels even with her head start. One of his old friends and their newly built tribe greeted them all with joy.
Bora spoke to them as the chieftain of his people. He held his huge spear as a walking stick. "Welcome Krillin and Eighteen it is good to see you both doing well. I see you have brought guest. Are they here to try climbing the sacred tower?"
Krillin responded with a smile. "Always good to see you and your people doing well Bora." He gestured to the green haired girl and his unconscious charge. "This is Majo and Rock Lee they are indeed here to test themselves on the tower. Though I need to get a senzu bean for Lee first."
"As you already received Korin's favor this is no problem. I'm sorry to say my son Upa is out hunting with the young warriors. I shall give you his regards in his place. The older man returned the smile.
"Oh what a shame, I so wanted to meet your first love." Eighteen laughed maniacally then continued. "I have to make sure he knows your mine now."
Krillin blushed like a young boy at her light hearted declaration. 'Thank goodness, I don't have to deal with that showdown today.' He thought to himself. Then he spoke aloud once her laughter stopped. "Babe, you don't need to be jealous. I promise you my heart is yours." To his surprise she clutched her heart and smiled seductively.
The blonde soon gave him a long kiss that lasted several minutes. She was breathless as she spoke. "That's the first time you said that to me dear Krillin. I promise you that was only the beginning of your reward so hurry back."
He was speechless as he noded with a dazed look in his eyes. Then he took off into the air faster than he had to get here. Master Korin already had a sack of beans ready. He had forseen this recently, but decided to keep the developments beyond it to himself. Fate often had other plans than people expected. However, you had to be careful because too much knowledge could be bad. The future was unwritten, but if you know how the outline becomes clear.
