Chapter 5

Shanks looks down at the panting Nyx. "Where do you want me to take you?" He questions her.

She cast her eyes down to the floor boards of the Captain's chambers. "I don't know…For I still don't know how Dante had found me." She says with a sigh.

"Could take you to old Hawky." Said Shanks with a large grin on his face.

Her head snaps up looking at her old Captain. "No…If Mihawk finds out. Nothing will stop him from going after my father Hades and my stupid brother Dante. I can't bring him this trouble." Said Nyx with another sigh.

Shanks let's out a sigh. "He should. The World Government has been trying to catch your father in his underground dealings. But every man that has gone after him only returns in a body bag. Well all but for Garp. But that man isn't human." He tells her with another sigh.

"I know. But Mihawk has so much to live for. I couldn't bring him this trouble. Our life was finally going to be happy with the birth of our son." Said Nyx with a single tear rolling down her cheek.

Shanks knells down before her. "Tell me Nyx. What was the name you had chosen for your son?" He asks her with large puppy eyes.

Nyx's giggles at his foolish antics. "The name we have chosen is Zoro D. Dracule. But once he is born, I am going to give him the last name Roronoa so no one will ever know who is parents are." She told him with tears now welling up in the corner of her eyes.

Shanks frowns. "I have an old friend from my time as a Cabin boy on my old Captain's ship that lives in the East Blue. He is from the Country of Wano. I am sure he wouldn't mind hiding you and Zoro away until he is born. Maybe by then we can have Hawky come and get you." He told her.

Slowly Nyx nods her head. "Father has no love for the East Blue. For he calls it the poorest of all the Blues as well he finds it boring." She tells Shanks looking back up at him.

"Then that is where we are heading to." Said Shanks with a grin.

'I'm sorry Hawky. I regrate keeping this from you. I know you don't care what the Marines would do to you or leaving and coming to us. But for now you must stay in the dark.' Thinks Shanks as he lets out a heavy sigh and closes his eyes leaving his private room to go and bunk with Benn or just sleep on deck. It wouldn't be the first time he has slept there, and it wouldn't be the last either.

Three Weeks Later

Mihawk jumps off of his ship moving swiftly to his Castle. He brushes past the baboons to find several dead on the path towards his home. It appears they had been dead for weeks now. His golden eyes move away from the dead creatures and moves back to his darken Castle.

"Nyx's my love, where are you?" He whispers to himself as he pushes open the front door that has been left open a jar. He draws Yoru from his back and uses it to push his door open.

His golden eyes travel around the entryway. The table in the entryway tipped over with the vase smashed into pieces. That is when he notices the muddy boot prints heading to his stairway. Towards where his beloved should be resting with their unborn son.

His eyes widening in horror Mihawk dashes up the steps praying to any God willing to listen for the safety of his wife and unborn son. He finds the door to their bedroom broken to pieces. It appears someone had kicked it down. Slowly he makes his way towards the broken door. His eyes widening with horror to find his bed shredded to pieces. His eyes travel the room and notices his wife's bag was gone and some of her clothing. "Had she gotten away?" He questions himself.

Knowing Nyx he moves over to his safe. Where she would leave him massages in the past when she would vanish on him. He opens up the safe and notices the letter she left him.

Dear Mihawk.

I am sorry. After you left for your meeting Dante paid me a visit. Hades has requested me to return back home. But that is the last thing I wish to do. So while the bastard return to his ship to sleep. I am leaving in the dark of the night.

I am sorry I am unable to tell you where I am going to hide. For I myself have no clue where I am running to.

Please love forgive me. I never meant for this to happen. Once Hades stops hunting for me and our son. I will return to you.

Please do not go after him. For he still holds to much power and it wouldn't end well for you love. I will die if I hear you fall to my father's or my brother's blades.

Love Nyx and Zoro

Mihawk fell to his knees. With the letter in his hand. "I should have never left. This wouldn't have happen or I should have just taken her with me. I was a fool." He cries out as tears fall onto the letter his wife is all he has left of her.

Slowly Mihawk stands up dragging himself into the nursery he and his love made for their son. He grabs the stuff bear and holds it to his chest as he crumples to his knees once more. Never feeling the eyes on his back.

Dante just growls as he spins on his heel leaving the Castle for the final time. His dear little sister had left the only man she had ever loved. The poor bastard doesn't even know where she ran off to.

Boarding his hidden ship Dante calls his father.

"Hello." Said Hades with a dark sickening voice.

"Father Nyx is truly gone form the island and she didn't tell the bastard she loved where she has gone to." Said Dante as he glares at the sea before him.

"Fine return home. I shall have my spies out looking for her once more." Said Hades.

"Very well father." Said Dante hanging up the snail.

Demon Island

Hades glares at the painting of his youngest daughter. "Where have you ran off to Nyx?" He question out loud.

"Father?" Came a woman's voice.

Hades dark blue glowing eyes look over at his daughter with long pink hair. "Luna my dear daughter. Your little sister Nyx has ran away from Dante and we have no idea where she has gone to this time around." He tells his daughter.

"I see. Father. I shall have my crews on the look out for my dear baby sister." Said Luna with a grin on her face.

"Thank you my dear." Said Hades.

I hope everyone enjoys this short chapter. The next chapter will be the end but with the end of the other story I will write another story where Zoro meets his grandfather and rest of his mother's family.
