"Kaname-sama, we can see that she's dear to you, but if she doesn't change it will kill her. We are not saying that to go against you. We say these things to warn you that her mind-set will be the end of her." explained Toshi further. Kaname just looked at them and turned to the door, leaving them to calm down and for him to think about the twins' opinions. The other night class students heard most of the 'fight' and couldn't place the twins in their minds anywhere. The boys were frustrated and worried at the same time about someone they seemed to hate at least a little.

Chapter 4

The following day, on Ichijou's birthday, the vampires were let off school and they got ready for his birthday. Either as a visitor or an organizer. Not one vampire missed this party where they can socialize and make connections. The only ones left alone were the twins as they were very low on the ranking and they were antisocial as well. They liked Takuma, but they hated crowds. They got two nice suits from their sire so they wouldn't be underdressed in these kinds of situations, but they weren't suited for dealing with the vampire community. Everything considered they didn't want to go to the birthday party. The only reason they did go was Takuma's request. They also had the condition that Zero will be at least invited. Takuma agreed and the twins said yes.

Now, the twins waited for Yuuki and Zero at the entrance and of the Moon Dorm and they immediately heard the two Day Class students' arrival. They also heard the conversation between the two and they were pissed off. They were angry with both Zero and Yuuki for different reasons. They waited until the two came in and greeted them.

"Hello there, Cross-san, Zero. We will be the ones taking you to the meeting place, so follow us." said Hiro tensely. Zero knew right away that something wasn't alright with him. When he looked at the other brother and saw the same tense posture. His answer came before he asked what the problem was.

"But before we take you there, we would like to talk to you privately, so listen carefully. I think both are idiots. Zero, how dare you say things like that? Shoot you!? Her!? Are you that much of an idiot? She will freeze up in fear and she will let you hurt her. And do you know how much you mean to us? Do you think we will be dancing in joy when you die? If you want to die so badly, talk to us about it before you decide to do or ask something like that!" lectured the older twin under one breath.

"And Yuuki, you are naïve and ignorant if you don't know how hard it is for a D almost E Class vampire to keep their sanity. Eventually, they all lose their minds if they don't drink their sire's blood. That's a fact. It is a miracle that Zero endured it until now. He is close to losing his sanity so I hope you are ready to shoot him anytime now. And we love Zero like a brother, but we know everything is better than hurting a precious person. If you can't put him out of his misery, he will die in agony. This will be addressed to the both of you, so listen closely!" continued the younger one.

"GET A HOLD OF YOURSELVES!" they shouted at the same time and turned around. "Now if you would follow us, we will be able to take you to the meeting place." they said and started to walk away. The two prefects followed in disbelief. In the trees, Kain and Aido were hiding and they were also surprised to see the twins blow up.

The two lowest vampires were known for their calm demeanour and laid-back attitude in the Moon Dorm among the vampires. Nothing could make them raise their voices, ever. No humiliation, no aggravation, no annoying comment could make a rise out of them. Everyone has been thinking that they don't even have any human emotions left in them. The two nobles made an unvoiced agreement to follow the twins, since they have been very interested in their strange reactions to certain things and their acting. They ran back to the party and briefly told Kaname about the interaction between the twins and the prefects. He nodded at the two noble vampires, who went to have fun after reporting to the resident pureblood. He made sure to remember every usable detail he could about the subjects of his interest. A few seconds later the two escort and the guests arrived.

The vampires stared at the two vampire siblings and couldn't help but realize that they could be quite beautiful if they dressed up like they should. They didn't have unique features by vampire standards, by all means. They were average in normal clothes. However, in a good suit and a little bit of hair-styling they looked really attractive. Their eyes also stood out, seeing as they slicked their hair back. They had ruby coloured eyes which attracted a lot of vampires' attention. There was also the scent of their blood. They smelled divine for every bloodsucker there, even as D-Class vampires. Kaname and the nobles noticed it too, and made notice not to let the lower class vampires touch the twins, since they made the group's every member care about them on a certain level.

The two young vampires looked really annoyed by Yuuki's constant questions and voice and when Zero wanted to talk to them, they didn't react either so he gave up and let them have a little time to cool off. He was also surprised when they scolded him and realized that whenever he drank their blood he felt their care and love for him as a brother. He felt guilty for hurting their feelings like he did a few minutes ago. When they stopped, the two prefects looked around for the first time and realized that they were at a party. A birthday party, to be exact. The siblings just blended into the crowd and the group saw how irritated they were as well. Kain and Rima decided to stay close to them in case they lost their temper like they did on the dorm inspection day. The hierarchy of the vampire community was explained to Yuuki and before things could escalate too much, the pure blood interfered.

The small talk turned into a history lesson for Yuuki and (for once) the twins actually listened, seeing as they didn't about the topic of noble or pureblood vampire duties and the reasons for them. Their
self-appointed guards watched them closely and their focused face made them realize that even if they were more well-informed about the vampire community the most D-Class vampires, there were still things they didn't know. They also found their faces childishly cute so they decided to hug them from behind and cuddle them. The two D-Class didn't even notice it, with how often it had already happened to them. Then it happened.

The pureblood taunted Zero, who obviously reacted violently. The twins were immediately by the hunter's side and grabbed his hand, pointing the gun elsewhere. They didn't care about Kaname, but even if they were angry at Zero, they didn't want him to die.

"Zero, don't do it! (Toshi) You'll get more punishment then satisfaction if you shoot him. (Hiro) Don't be too rash! (together)" the siblings tried to reason with the lilac-eyed prefect.

"It's alright, Seiren! If was me who said something unnecessary." said Kaname, calming the vampire side of the conflict.

The birthday boy eventually made a request not to fight on his big day, so everyone went back to talking to each other. The vampires soon started to feed on each other, the twins not being exceptions. Kaname decided to invite them to his small couch next to his own, to see their reactions to the simultaneous feedings better. The twin vampires didn't seem to notice it in the midst of their eating. The twins' reacted in the most unexpected way to the main group's and the prefects' surprise.

The younger flashed his eyes and the older sighed then moved his shirt's collar. Hiro thanked him and gently bit into his twin's neck, who grunted a little but didn't react otherwise. After a few gulps the roles reversed, however the older twin laid his twin down and laid on him as he bit into Hiro's neck. He took as much as his brother and let out a content sigh. The vampires got hungrier as their blood's scent hit their noses. The brothers just laid there and they seemed to be in a sedated state. This was the end to Zero's patience, since he knew how they tasted, and their blood was so damn delicious. He ran away and before Toshi and Hiro could get up Kaname said that he is sure the hunter will be ok. Normally, the two would follow their friend/brother-in-all-but-blood anyway, but the feeding made them sluggish so they let it be.

In that moment, the nearby vampires (including Kaname) watched them closely. They somehow made the vampires want to feed on them and leave them alone to just lay on the couch calmly. In that moment, they looked seductive and soft in the same time. Their faces were slightly flustered and they were defenceless in that state. They could have easily eaten them as they were and yet no one could bring themselves to do it. A lot of them also desired more than their blood, seeing their state (flustered face, deep but short breaths, lax bodies), and couldn't help the arousal they caused. Not one of them missed the scent of their desires but no one mentioned it. Kaname paid close attention to the happening and wondered how the normally plain twins caused this reaction at times like this. Meanwhile, the brothers were blissfully unaware of the things that happened to other vampires as they slowly came down from their high.

The day and the party slowly ended and on that night, the model duo decided to sleep with the twins between themselves. They all slept like new-borns. The others wondered what was going on and eventually and individually checked in on the four sleeping vampires. They all had their opinions on it. To name a few, Takuma found their position absolutely adorable and took a photo for safekeeping and memory of the semi-casual event, Kaname observed them for a short while and decided to let the bonds strengthen and see the endgame of it and Kain wondered if he should try what Shiki and Rima did.
