Chapter 5:

Usagi drove from the airport to Minako's apartment building in Tokyo. As she drove, she tried to forget and get rid of the pain she felt in her chest from leaving him in the airport. Of course, he had to leave and return, but it still hurt her chest to leave him.

As she drove past the trees, which were green from the summer heat and shining from the rays of the sun that bounced off each individual and unique leaf. People were busy, couples holding hands and kissing In the street made her uncomfortable and the ache re-appear when she tried to adjust her focus and failed. She turned the put on her indicator as she turned right, passing the traffic piling up across from her and drove straight down the built-up street, before parking in the parking bay out the front, where Minako had her day bag thrown her shoulder with no care. "Usagi-Chan" she says cheerfully, she hugs her friend immediately when she steps in.

"Hey Mina" Usagi replies even more enthusiastic. "How are you?" she asks considerately.

"I'm really good" she replies. "Are we having Pizza tonight?" she asks and Usagi nods.

"Yeah, I guess…" she sighs, pulling the car out of first gear. "Like you can stay more than one night if you need…" Usagi says… embarred by the fact that she didn't want to be alone again. "I've also got a few ideas for like new songs and that if you want to stay" she suggests.

"No, it's ok…I think one album this month is good enough" Minako sighs. "I need to tell you something" she sighs, but only when we get inside" Minako says as she steps out the car. Carefully and quickly, they both step in the elevator, pressing the button to the top floor. Silently, they stand in the elevator until the Bing inside indicates them to their chosen floor.

Silently, the unlocks the apartment door, and steps inside, taking off her hoodie and shoes in the safety of her home, Minako following the same routine. "So, you know Mamoru-san's friends? Kunzite and all that?" she asks and Usagi nods. "Well he was messaging me on Instagram saying that he likes my music and thinks I'm really pretty… so then I was talking to him and he said he was studying at Harvard right now and asked that when he got back in four weeks…if we could meet up" she whispers.

"Kunzite's a really nice person…He's one of Mamo-Chan's best friends" Usagi states. "You'll really like him, so you need to trust him quickly cause according to Mamo-chan…he's only ever been in a relationship with two people, but they broke it off with him" Usagi explains.

"Speaking of your dear boyfriend" she says. "you need to remember what I said about men in general" she says and Usagi sighs dramatically.

"I know! I Know ok!" She says annoyed. "Are we going to order Pizza or what?" she asks her and Minako smiles. After ten minutes, the order for their pizza was placed and was set to arrive in another ten. "Hey Mina" usagi whispers quietly.

"Yeah"

"Do you recon like… when you find the one that you'd stay with forever…that you'd ever have children?" Usagi asks and Minako shrugs.

"I don't know… like I never even considered the idea that one day I could…before It would be too late… like bear my own child…have a little mini me. It depends really, if I find someone later in life and can't, or if I find someone in a few years then I think I will. It would be nice you know" she sighs as she finishes. "What about you Usagi-chan?" she asks her and Usagi just sighs.

"I don't know…I have a feeling that Mamo-chan might one day want one, but I don't think I'd want it then you know… I just want to live my life now before I become a mother you know. But if it would happen without notice or preparation then it would. I wouldn't get rid of it if Mamo-chan wants it." Usagi says.

"Usagi-chan… all I heard there is if 'Mamo-chan wants it'. You need to make a decision. It's your body and your choice. If Mamoru wants it and you don't… then you don't need to make a decision, it's your choice. But if he doesn't and you do then you can't force it. So you need to make the decision cause it'll affect you in the future if you don't" Minako rants.

"Of course, I wouldn't know…not now that I'm young Mina-chan. Later on, in life where I'm more mature. But right now, no. but if it happens now, then I'll do it… I'll try to be a good mother to my child." She finishes.

"But knowing you… if 'Mamo-chan' wants it he'll probably get it because your Usagi-chan. Your extremely kind and selfless that you'll put yourself through pain and immense trauma to keep someone safe and so everyone's happy" Minako sighs as she comes back with the boxes of Pizza.

Usagi's phone buzzed in her pocket, quickly she pulled it out excitedly, expecting it to be her boyfriend's message saying he was back safe in America…until she saw a random person's username on snapchat. She opened the message and immediately screenshotted it.

I'm so sorry but I thought you should know. I'm Michiru's roommate, Akira…but I was on the laptop and one of the cameras in our main hallway in America was recording and I was flipping through the footage and I found this…I though you should know.

Usagi choked on the sight of the image. Mamoru and Michiru kissing. His tense posture allocated alarm and Michiru's face allocated joy. Minako moved around to look at the picture and gasped. "I knew it! I told you Usagi you can't trust men" She yells and Usagi shakes her head.

"No…She kissed him see. He's stiff" she says, tears bridging up to her eyes.

"No…whenever I see you two kisses…his is always stiff even if he kisses you first for a second before he becomes relaxed, I think it's in case of rejection. Usagi…no matter what point of view you look at it from…he's still cheated on you." She says, unloading the water works on Usagi… Usagi's sobs erupted, her phone left on the table and Minako hugging her gently as she cried into her shoulder. Her mind flowing back into all the promises he had made her…and she felt it wouldn't matter now.

So she cried until she couldn't anymore, before passing out into the black.
