The halls of the hospital were unusually quiet. It was the resting hour so the patients were sleeping in their quarters quietly. Damn he had to be extra quiet. carefully put on his pants and shirt after slipping off his bland hospital gown. There he felt slightly more normal and even a little better. The people in the halls were not noticing him there were several visitors at this hour. he blended in perfectly maybe too much so that it made that much more panicked about getting caught

"Hello mIss I am here to visit my wife he" cleverly lied. Man he was good "the fools" he thought to himself. He was afraid that he would not be able to tell her how he really felt. That he wanted to spend forever with her and that he wished the statement about her being his wife was true. Oh so true! The nurse was confused and looked through her file there was no record of her having a husband and before she could say anything he interrupted her

"we just recently got married before the accident. we were just getting ready to go on our honeymoon when the accident happened". "I just love her so much" he sniffled but behind his lies the tears were real. The distraught nurse panicked "sorry sir right this way to Ms. Benson's room." The nurse briefed him on her condition. "now mr. um what is your name again?"

Oh I thought I already told you my name is Elliot . He was hoping that she would not catch on . This was cutting it close, too close. His palms were sweating. He was nervous. Now Elliot I must warn you she was in a major accident. Right now she is in a comatose state. After that her voice faded and he could not hear what she said. all of the sudden she said ok are you ready to go in the room.

Tears filled his eyes as he saw her laying there motionless and body so pail and fragile. It broke his heart to see her so lifeless . God I wish I could punch a wall right now he thought." I have to get a hold of myself " he sat next to her bed and held held her hand that was free of iv's.

At first he had the though He tried to remember all the good times they had. He had a flashback of the good times. Cue I got you babe to all or any good memories. When the nurse came to check up on her patient Elliot She about fainted. She went to the nurses station to call security. There was a panic. Yes I would like to report a missing patient . All of the sudden the halls were buzzing with panicked doctors and nurses. maybe they had released him all ready? A nurse named Meagan finally found him in Olivia's room. There was a sigh of relief that escaped her lips.

Elliot we have to get you back to your room! The whole hospital was in a panic looking for you she said in a serious tone. She was 29 years old, a average sized person with strait red hair about shoulder length and green eyes. She then saw the glisten of love in his eyes when he looked at Olivia . She could not pull true love away.

I will tell them you are alright and that you should stay.

Elliot looked up at her and said thanks. When she had left she returned his glance to olivia he was in a sea of love never to be dried up. 1

IT had almost been a week since she was in a coma. Elliot was released from the hospital. Though he had spent all his time there with olivia anyways. When they held funerals for all the people who perished in the bombing of the precinct Elliot was torn. should he stay with Olivia or go to the services?

Rain pored down as the loved ones faced forward, with tears in their eyes and grief for their lost loved ones. Elliot had decided to go. except for the rain everything was good. Fin and Casey came up to him and talked. Fin Hey man how are you holding up . You look like you have bot slept in a while. But now that i think about it none of us have. we have been getting thousands of letters saying thanks. some of them are not so nice though. Donations have been coming in all over man they want to help re build the precinct.

Casey added It is in the news all over. They have been sending in funds for the precinct and Olivia too to help her. We need to bring in some of the flowers that she has gotten. you have some get well cards. Most of the cards are from victims that we have helped in the past or even recently.

The shock hit Elliot as a surprise the stress of the job made him forget how many lives they had impacted in a good way. The only thing that would make this news even better is if Olivia would wake up. It was hard to keep faith in the fact she was gonna come back. His heart ached to hear her laugh to see her smile. He would even take seeing her brown eyes again. If he had to wait an eternity for her to wake up he would .
