Deku ghost AU
Chapter 5-
Izuku turned around checking if anyone was behind him. There wasn't anyone there. He looked back at Nezu, who was still waiting for his answer, and pointed a finger at himself.
"Yes, you, Midoriya. I can tell you are quite smart, plus your quirk can be really helpful." Nezu mentioned. Izuku calmed down his heart, he really wanted this, but he was still unsure. There were a lot of ups and downs in this offer (Nah, mostly ups).
"Um…Can I tell you my answer in maybe, a week?"
"Of course, take as much time as you need. You will still need to pay the consequence for the earlier 'prank,' but we can discuss that another time. For now, you are both dismissed." Aizawa and Izuku stood up from their chairs and walked out of the room. Izuku floated the opposite direction Aizawa went.
'What was he going to do? How did he even get in this situation? It's only been 1 day in UA and now they want him to be a student in UA?! Seriously, what did he do?' Izuku stressed out a bit. Wait no actually a lot. 'No this has to be a trick. Like a test. There has to be some kind of catch.'
Izuku shook the thoughts out of his head. There was no point in freaking out now, we can worry about that later. For now…let's have some fun. (A/N: :) Haha, more messing around and more pranks)
'Ok. Just do pranks that don't cause any kind of physical damage.' Izuku mused himself, he could do that. He just had to mess with people without hurting them. Easy.
-A tiny time skip-
Izuku had been wandering around UA for a while, unable to find Class 1-A. He wanted to prank them, but they weren't in their class, so Izuku was just exploring UA. He was totally visible. No one was in the halls at the time because everyone was still in class. Until, he bumped into someone…Well, not bump into, just walked through.
It was a General Ed student. Izuku was not going to lie, the student looked a mini Aizawa. He had all similar face features as Aizawa except his hair. His hair was probably shoulder length, but it was hard to tell because his hair…well, it looked like someone used a leaf blower and his hair kind of ended up defying gravity. It was purple in colour.
"What the heck?! I just went through you. How did you do that?" The student exclaimed looking back at Izuku.
"It's kind of my quirk. It's a ghost quirk." Izuku exclaimed. He could see the shock in the other's eye, but it didn't really show on his face.
"I see….Maybe that explains why my quirk didn't work on you." The kid mumbled under his breathe before looking back at Izuku.
"…you used your quirk on me? What'd your quirk?" Izuku asked a bit curious. Maybe he could write it down in his notebook later, maybe come up with some good theories and inventions. The student mumbled under his breathe, an inaudible noise, Izuku strained his ears to her, but still couldn't hear.
"What did you?" Izuku watched as the student hesitated, looking a bit conflicted on whether to tell Izuku or not.
"…my quirks…Brainwashing…" The student watched Izuku, expecting an insult about how villainous his quirk was, but it never came.
"Whoa! That's such a good quirk! You could help in hostage situation or maybe to force out answer from a suspect or criminal. There's so many good uses for it. Oh, how does it work? Is there a limit to how many people you can control? Can you mind control animals as well? Does it have like a time limit or does it only stop when you want it to?" Izuku continue to ramble out questions and comments about how good of a hero the student would be. The student was kind of shock, he was waiting for an insult, but instead he got a compliment and a lot of questions. Izuku used his telekinesis to grab a book and pencil.
"Slow down. I can't even keep up with you."
"Oh sorry, I tend to ramble a lot. Anyways, about your quirk…"
"It only works when someone answers one of my questions verbally. I'm not really sure how many people I can control, but more or around 5 people." Shinsou finished. It wasn't a lot of information, he didn't really trust this random student. Plus, if he wanted to be an underground hero the less people that knew about his quirk the better. Hs quirk could work much more efficiently.
"Um…" Izuku looked up from his notebook, "I don't think I catched your name."
"Oh, right. I'm Izuku Midoriya," Izuku smiled.
"The kid that scared Present Mic?"
"Yep, that's me!" Izuku puffed up his chest with pride, as if he had did something amazing (A/N: Yeah, he did. He made everyone in UA deaf. What an achievement.) "What's your name? You're in the General Ed classes, right?"
"Wait, how did you know?! I don't remember telling you."
"Oh, I just took a guess. Especially with your quirk, the hero course exam is only based on physical quirks. Plus, they had robots there too. A bit unfair for people who have quirks like yours. Even when your quirk is so amazing."
"Oh…right. I'm Shinso Hitoshi. I'm assuming you are in the hero course."
"Nah, just a random ghost walking around UA with nothing to do. I don't even attend UA." Izuku sighed before leaning against a wall, only to fall half way through catching himself with telekinesis. "Ooo, can I join your class? I'll turn invisible so they can't see me. Please, I'm really bored."
"Sure, I don't see why not. I was going to go somewhere, but we can just head back to class." Shinso shrugged and walked towards the classroom. He quietly entered the room, trying not to disturb the class or teacher, sitting down in his seat. He couldn't see Izuku, but he could tell that he was in the classroom, just invisible.
The teacher's back was facing the whiteboard behind him. Most of the students were bored out of their minds almost half dozing to sleep.
That's when Izuku, behind the teacher, making stupid faces and messing around behind the teacher's back. Some of the students had noticed him, they stifled down their laughter, before telling someone nearby who almost looked dead to look up.
It was clear the teacher could hear them laughing, unsure of what they were laughing at. Every time he turned around there was no one there yet again. Izuku even managed to draw on the board without getting caught. Some students couldn't hold in their laughter as they burst out in a fit of giggles. The teacher was fed up.
"What is so funny huh? What note are you passing around?" Everyone in the room froze, not they were scared of the teacher. They weren't even looking at him, they were looking above his head, "You! Tell me what's so funny?" He pointed to one of the students, who had stopped laughing. She stared for a few moments that seem like an eternity, before pointing above the teacher's head.
Above his head was an entire bucket of green paint, but the warning came too late. The paint was poured all over the teacher as students continue to laugh.
Izuku had to admit, this was a bit mean, but it didn't matter. The teacher just so happened to be his unlucky victim.
"WHO DID THAT?!" The teacher's angry was slipping through, he had threw his glasses off, but could barely see anything. All the students pointed to one person, Midoriya. The teacher could only see a mop of green, but it was probably enough to find him.
"Oh, yeah, that was me. Is it too late to give an apology?" The teacher was turning red and steam fuming from his ears, "Yep, too late. Um…I think I hear someone calling my name. Gotta go." With that Izuku disappeared again without a trace. He was having fun, messing with people in UA, but he definitely was going to get into trouble for that one. It didn't trouble him (A/N: Um…Pun not intended?) though, all he could think of what grand prank he was going to do on the next person.

This is like really rushed, but I wanted to get a chapter out already. My school holidays are coming soon, so maybe I'll do more chapters or I'll be really lazy. But, I'm planning on doing more chapters, hopefully. Also, I posted all 4 chapters of Boo! like 3 days ago and it already has around 950 views. Like Wtf, I have never had anything so high in my life.
