When Olivia left the living room, Fitz closed his eyes and thought about Angela. He didn't want to tell Olivia about the plane crash. Would she even care that he read a news story about the former FBI director being in a plane crash? They had lost contact after he started going to space. The few times they did talk, she always talked about her new job. There was something in the news story that had him wanting to know more about Angela's life after she moved away. She had a child. How could she not tell him that? They were still friends after the divorce. The story didn't have any pictures, and he didn't know if she had a boy or girl. There was only a mention of her being a mom of one in the story. He was happy that she experienced being a mom before the accident. There wasn't any information about her being remarried.

He could look for the information. It wouldn't be difficult to find out. He could contact her family. They would be surprised to hear from him, and they would probably want to know why he was asking about Angela's child. He was genuinely curious, but he didn't want to start any rumors. If Olivia found out he was looking for information about Angela, she would be very upset with him. It's not like he had a good reason to look for her child besides wanting to know that he or she was okay.

Fitz typed in Angela's full name on his phone and clicked on the images tab. There were a lot of pictures of her in her uniform and news stories. He kept scrolling, and he found one picture of Angela and some other people eating at a restaurant. There was a girl in the picture, though she was halfway out of the picture. Fitz could only see the side of her face. The picture was obviously taken by someone trying to get a picture of Angela and the other people at the table. She was looking out the window, but Fitz was taken aback at what he could see of her appearance. Her bone structure. She resembled someone he knew, but he couldn't figure out who from that angle. The girl was clearly mixed, and she was sitting next to Angela, so she had to be her kid. Fitz kept scrolling, but he couldn't find anymore pictures of the girl. He was stalking his dead ex-wife's child. He turned off his phone and closed his eyes. He would have to let this go.
