"It would do you some good to get some rest, don't overwork yourself more than you have to," Carlos advised to the child.

"H-how long will it take for it to heal?" Clementine asked.

"Well, most bone fractures take up to a month to heal and considering our circumstances; We are here in the open, no shelter, no supplies and no medicine. I highly advise that you catch as much rest as possible." Carlos, without uttering another word, walked out of the tent; leaving Clementine and Sarah alone.

Clementine sighed through her nose, and her eyes flew to the side of the tent as the thought of Carver came across her idle mind. The man who completely damaged her eye. Half of her eyesight... gone. Gone forever, only one eye left and most likely a skull fracture. This was all caused in a small matter of time, in such a short amount of time, she had lost her eye.

She never should have turned in that damn walkie-talkie. If it wasn't for that low quality piece of trash, none of this would've happened. Could she have been able to keep the radio hidden from Carver? Maybe if she had just kept her mouth shut instead of just owning up to taking the radio, maybe she could've been able to keep her eye.

She never should've agreed to taking that damn radio. A flame lit up inside of her; every thought that had anything to do with Howe's merely added fuel to the flame. Why the hell didn't anyone bother to help her when she was getting beaten!? Clementine, the one who did everything for them, the one who actually got the damn radio but when she needed everyone else; they just stood by watch! Those stupid, piece of-useless garb-

"Clem? Clem, are you okay?" Sarah's abrupt voice snapped her out of her thoughts.

The younger child sighed in attempt to keep herself from yelling at the teen. "Yes, Sarah I'm fine. I'm perfectly fine, what could possibly be wrong?" Clementine gave a fake smile.

"O-oh that's good, well I'm glad you're okay." Sarah smiled back, oblivious to the child's sarcasm.

The child just barely managed to refrain from rolling her eyes.

"H-how... does it feel? Your eye I mean?" Sarah inquired.

Blunt pain, that was there constantly. Top it off with slight nausea. That's what it felt like. "It feels sore, like... something's pushing against it really hard."

"Ouch, that must suck." Sarah sympathized with her.

"Oh no, I'm actually having the time of my life right now. Thanks Sarah."

"Hey! Don't get mad at me, I'm just trying to help." It appears that Clementine's sarcastic comment didn't go unnoticed by the teen that time.

"Yeah well, if you can't handle it maybe you should talk to your father."

"Oh shit! Does that mean what I think it does!?" Luke's came from outside of the tent. He sounded frantic. The child thought.

"What could possibly be happening now?" Clementine uttered to herself as she slowly climbed back up onto her feet, trying to keep her head steady.

Clementine pulled aside the tent flap and was blinded by the flash of sun for a few moments. After her eye(s) adjusted to the brightness, she noticed Bonnie providing support for Rebecca with everyone crowding around them. The child began walking over to the group with Sarah following behind.

Clementine was quick to discover that Rebecca's water had broke. After a few moments of useless chatter, Carlos came over and offered to help; saying that they needed clean water and blankets.

Clementine frowned to herself. Clean water? Does that even exist anymore? I suppose they could just boil the water and wait for it to cool down but that wasn't a likely suggestion. Simply put, not enough time to wait. "Where are going to find clean water?"

"There's a civil war museum not far from here," Mike replied to the child.

"Why would a civil war museum have water?" Clementine inquired.

"Well we don't know for certain but anything's better than nothin'."

After discussing about the supplies, places and possible shelters; it was established that Mike and Bonnie were going to the civil war museum.

Having no other business to attend to, Clementine found no reason to stay with the group any longer. She decided that it would be a good idea to catch a much needed nap.
