Several hours later, by the gates at the Dead's End, Dragon Hunters were preparing to move out for something as the Dragon Hunter with mechanical legs lowers his arms behind a big vehicle that has a cage in the back of it, which lowers, showing Kai, Jay, Zane and Trudogolik inside it. "So, you three are not Oni after all, but have trained in the Arts of the First Spinjitzu Master." The top hat Dragon Hunter said as he came up to them.
This got Kai to gasp. "You've heard of him?" He asked.
"I've heard his legend. The ****ing coward who ran away. To- What was it called? Nin-jen-go?"
"Uh, it's called Ninjago." Jay said, correcting him. "And do you know how to get us back?"
"No. But even if I did, I have no interest in helping you when there is so much you Ninja can do for me here. I'm getting sick of just using young Trudogolik there."
They all turn to Trudogolik, who was sitting with his back beside the end of the cage, pouting before Kai looked back at the two Dragon Hunters. "Where are you taking us?" He asked.
"Don't you know power attracts power? We're hunting dragons!" He takes his top hat off, and laughs before walking away.
Kai soon notices something and smiles as it turned out to be Cole, Gewuji and Dragon, who were around the corner of one of the speeders, and they all nod before Jay notices one of the speeders has pieces of the Bounty on it. "Hey!" He yelled to the Dragon Hunter piloting it. "Wasn't that our ship?"
The hunter just gives him the V-sign and takes off as the top hat Dragon Hunter puts his hat back on while looking at another Dragon Hunter. "Gas up the Dieselnaught, Muzzle." The Dragon Hunter just mumbles gibberish. "Quit your jibber-jabbering!" He notices the Dragon Hunter with the mask and slots looking at him as he passed by. "Stop looking at me that way, Arkade!" He then turned to the mohawked woman. "You can fly by yourself in that getup, Jet Jack!" He soon noticed Chew Toy as Heavy Metal comes up to Muzzle. "Chew Toy, is that what you're wearing?" He soon turned to Wipedovith, who moves his hand across his whip with a cloth. "Clean your whip after we're done, Wipedovith!" He then turned to a nearby Dragon Hunter, who was preparing one of the vehicles. "Nevezeniye, I thought I told you to get rid of those sideburns!" He suddenly almost tumbles, but manages to use his staff to straighten himself.
"Ah, he's always in a mood before a hunt, worried today might be the day he comes across Firstbourne." Heavy Metal said to Muzzle, who soon chuckled.
As they talk, Cole, Gewuji and Dragon get on top of the Dieselnaught to a big harpoon cannon. "What do you think you're doing?" The Dragon Hunter with mechanical legs asked.
"Uh, we've been asked to lend a hand." Gewuji replied, lying.
"Didn't I hear youse three are from the Dangerbuff clan?"
"Yep." Cole said.
"Well, then I refuse to hunt with either of you, because no Dangerbuff I know can shoot a hole in the ground."
"Then stay at home, tinsel toes." Dragon said, standing on the edge. "'Cause the boss says they need all the hands he can get." He then looked down at him. "And legs." He sarcastically spoke, raising his right leg up, also surprising Cole and Gewuji for his witty reply. The Dragon Hunter looks at his mechanical legs before walking away, annoyed, and Gewuji and Dragon look at each other.
By the cage, Trudogolik, who had heard the whole thing, silently chuckled. "No one had the courage to step up against Daddy No Legs." He said.
"Daddy No Legs?" Jay asked. "Why do they call him that?"
"Because he lost half his body on a hunt." This got Jay to cringe. "Oh, I never got your names. I'm Trudogolik."
"Kai." Kai spoke his name. "Master of Fire."
"Zane." Zane spoke his name. "Nindroid, and Master of Ice."
"And I'm Jay." Jay said. "Master of Lightning, a great inventor, planner-"
"More like Mouth of Lightning." Trudogolik cuts him off as he looked back.
"Hey!"
"You seem a bit simpatico, compared to when we first met." Zane said.
"I was promised a lot of rations." Trudogolik replied. "But now, I may have to wait a few more days... again."
The Dragon Hunters start preparing to leave as the top hat Dragon Hunter gets on a small helicopter. "To the hunt!" He called out. "To the hunt!" The gates soon open, and the speeders take off into the desert.
Later that night, the Dragon Hunters were around a campfire while Kai, Jay, Zane and Trudogolik were chained at the top of a post, with only the Ninja struggling against them, and the top hat Dragon Hunter working on a device underneath the post. "Hope you're comfortable." He sarcastically said to them.
Kai grunts as he tried to pull on the chains. "Whatever you have planned for us, we'll never help you hunt dragons." He replied.
The top hat Dragon Hunter scoffed. "I beg to differ. Trudogolik, care to explain?"
"He uses a device that forces you to use your powers." He said as the top hat Dragon Hunter turns the device on, emitting electricity along the post, and they all laugh briefly. "And it tickles at the same time!" Kai's Fire Power soon activated briefly.
"He's triggering an Elemental Reaction." Zane stated before he soon laughed and his Ice Power activates briefly.
"Is that what he means by power attracts power?" Kai asked.
Jay soon gasped as Trudogolik soon laughed, briefly activating his Uranium Power. "He's using us as bait!" He replied before he soon laughed, briefly activating his Lightning Power.
"I'm excited to see what tonight's catch brings!" The top hat Dragon Hunter called out before walking away from the post as Kai, Jay, Zane and Trudogolik laugh while their powers were being activated for a brief moment as Cole, Gewuji and Dragon look on.
"How are we supposed to rescue them way up there?" Dragon asked.
"In short, we don't." Cole replied.
Gewuji soon placed a hand on Dragon's shoulder. "Not until we're alone." She said.
Chew Toy's thinking got them to turn to him and the others. "Why don't you join us, Dangerbuff?" He asked. Briefly looking at each other, Cole, Gewuji and Dragon comply with Chew Toy's offer. "Sit down and listen to me." He briefly turns to the other hunters. "They never do, do they?" They sit down between Chew Toy and Jet Jack.
As they all chat amongst themselves, Cole notices Heavy Metal sharpening his sword with a rock. "Uh, that's some blade you have there." He said. "Crazy how it repelled those powers.
"Oh, yeah. Carved from Dragonbone. From a piece of the Firstbourne."
"Firstbourne?" Dragon asked.
"Hey, where you been, Dangerbuff?" Daddy No Legs asked as he came up next to Arkade before lowering his mechanical legs, and jumps off of it to walk on his hands. "In the belly of Beetlenaut?"
They all soon laugh as Cole, Gewuji and Dragon nervously join in with Chew Toy slapping Dragon's back, scaring him. "Firstbourne is the mother of all dragons." Jet Jack said. "The most powerful in the realm."
"No one's seen it entirely, but it is said to possess every element of her beloved spawn." Wipedovith said as he moved his hand along his whip. "The one prize that's always eluded Iron Baron." He soon spits at the fire, sparking it.
"Tell 'em, Jet Jack." Arkade said.
"She took Baron's leg, then his arm, then his pride." She said.
"But someone here got a piece of her, didn't you, Heavy Metal?" Daddy No Legs asked Heavy Metal as he finished sharpening his sword before stabbing it into the ground.
"Iron Baron's been searching for her nest all his life. Said she protects there the Dragon Armour."
"Dragon Armour?" Dragon asked.
"Worn by the First Spinjitzu Master." Chew Toy replied, scaring him again. "Whoever controls the armour, controls Firstbourne. And he who controls Firstbourne, can protect us from the Oni." He soon spits at the fire, sparking it.
"Oni?" Gewuji asked before the Dragon Hunters cheer before one by one, they spit at the fire, sparking it, except for Heavy Metal until it was Daddy No Legs' turn.
"When the Oni see me riding on the mother of all dragons." He said.
"That will be the day." Wipedovith sarcastically replied.
"It's gonna be me, you know." Nevezeniye said.
"The Oni?" Gewuji asked.
"What do they look like?" Cole asked.
"He's right-" Jet Jack was cut off when they hear wind blowing close by.
"Dragon!" Daddy No Legs yelled before heading back to his mechanical legs, and the Hunters get up to head for where the dragon is spotted as Cole, Gewuji and Dragon look on.
"Don't just stand there, Dangerbuff!" Wipedovith yelled. "Man the turret!"
By the post as Kai, Jay, Zane and Trudogolik still laugh while their powers were getting extracted, the top hat Dragon Hunter, who is obviously Iron Baron, looks around for the targeted dragon. "Where is she?" He asked. A dragon's growl was soon heard as they all turn to the side. "There! There!"
Some clouds far from their side suddenly move away as they see two dragons coming one looked light grey while another was clear white, almost reflecting its surroundings. "Guys, I really don't like this." Kai said.
Iron Baron was amazed by the sight of the two dragons. "A Wind Dragon and a Glass Dragon. And good sized ones too." He turns to his hunters. "Lay low, let them come!"
The dragons move around as Trudogolik looked at them. "Shatter again?" He asked.
"Who?" Zane asked.
"The Glass Dragon. It's Shatter. I don't come up with their names."
"Wait for it..." Iron Baron silently spoke as he looked on. "Wait for it." Heavy Metal holds out his sword as the two dragons turn to the Dragon Hunters, and blow out Wind and Glass respectively, which extinguishes the fire while Iron Baron held onto the post while using his top hat to cover his face from the glass shards. Both dragons soon stop using their powers as Iron Baron drops to the ground and gets back up. "Now!" The Dragon Hunters start firing chains at the two dragons, but miss.
"Take the shot, Dangerbuff!" Daddy No Legs call out to Cole, Gewuji and Dragon. "What the **** are you waiting for?"
Cole, Gewuji and Dragon get on the turret before Gewuji moves it to target the Wind Dragon, but discreetly moves it to the post, and fired the chain, hitting the device, causing it to explode, breaking the post, and Kai, Jay, Zane and Trudogolik scream as they land on the ground, but were still bound. "Oh, no." Gewuji sarcastically said. "My mistake."
"I should've known to never trust a Dangerbuff. Especially a female Dangerbuff! Get the **** out of there!"
"Now's our chance." Cole said. "Let's get them." They jump off the Dieselnaught, and head over to where they were, discreetly pushing Nevezeniye aside.
Iron Baron sees Shatter and the Wind Dragon taking off. "They're making a run for it!" He yelled as he came up to a helicopter. "Follow them!"
The vehicles soon take off as Cole, Gewuji and Dragon see that the four of them were no longer there. "What?" Dragon asked.
They turn to see them back in the cage on the back of the Dieselnaught before it raises. "You heard the Baron." Wipedovith said as he came up to them. "Get a move on, or you'll get 5 lashes!" They soon head back for the Dieselnaught.
The vehicles pursue the two dragons as Shatter was lagging behind a little, and Iron Baron chuckles. "The Wind Dragon is fast as the wind, I'll give her that!" He said. Seeing Shatter being far behind, the Wind Dragon slows down as Jet Jack comes close to grabbing hold of it before it soon breathed Wind at her, sending her flying back. She quickly straightens herself, and flies forward to catch up, passing by the other Dragon Hunters as their vehicles jump over a slope before Arkade soon fired a chain. Seeing the chain coming to its fellow dragon, the Wind Dragon moves it aside, allowing the chain to wrap around its tail, and fired its Wind power, blowing Shatter further ahead before a chain soon wrapped around its neck, along with another one, but the Wind Dragon raises it head, causing one of the vehicles to rise up before crashing down, snapping the chain to its tail, and kept trying to fly. "We're losing them!"
Heavy Metal comes onto one of the fired turrets, looks at the Wind Dragon as it was now lagging behind Shatter before soon running along the chain, jumps onto the Wind Dragon's neck, and pulls on the chains, making it crash to the ground. The hunters soon stop their vehicles and cheer as Heavy Metal saw that Shatter was now far away from them. "What about the Glass Dragon?" He asked, pointing out to it as he got off the Wind Dragon while the hunters start chaining it up.
Iron Baron growled as he saw it fly away into the distance. "He's too far away. Let him go. One dragon will have to do."
As the hunters were busy chaining the Wind Dragon up, Cole, Gewuji and Dragon came up to Kai, Jay, Zane and Trudogolik. "So, tonight wasn't our night." Kai said.
"It wasn't hers, either." Jay replied.
"At least Shatter got away." Trudogolik said.
"We'll figure a way out of this." Cole told them, surprising Trudogolik.
"For us, and the dragons." Gewuji said.
Trudogolik soon turned to them. "Now what are you Dangerbuff incompetents plotting here?" He asked.
"No, no, no." Dragon replied. "We're the good guys, Trudogolik."
"Yeah, we're undercover." Cole said.
"Undercover?" Trudogolik asked.
"Waiting for the right time to strike." Gewuji replied. "I'm Gewuji."
"Cole." Cole said, putting a fist on his hip.
"And I'm Dragon." Dragon said.
"Don't worry." Zane said to Trudogolik. "Once we get out of here, you're coming with us, and be free. You're an Elemental Master. One of us."
Trudogolik soon smiled at him upon learning the offer. "Thank you, Zane." He replied.
