They found his dying message. It was the letter J.
Yoongi gasped. The others gathered around and saw it.
"No, what?" Namjoon said.
"This is his dying message. No doubt." Yoongi said, unfazed.
He stood up, looking at the members. "It's obvious. Whoever has J as the first letter in their name is the killer."
Everyone's attention turned to Jimin, and Jungkook.
"One of you guys did it?" Taehyung said, horrified. He had just been playing games with them the other day before the murder...
"Wait, should we add Hoseok in it? Y'know, since he has a J in his stage name [J-hope]?" Namjoon said.
Hoseok was surprised. "Wait, I-"
"Yeah. He's a suspect." Yoongi said. "I saw you tugging at the door. Maybe you jammed it, instead of Namjoon."
"No, I didn't! Namjoon, tell him that you told me to go to his room!" Namjoon just stayed quiet, looking away. Hoseok gritted his teeth. Why didn't Namjoon just tell them the truth?
"Okay... I guess we'll have to hear from you guys of what you were doing before the murder." Yoongi said, standing away along with some of the other members.
Now Yoongi, Namjoon, and Taehyung were standing at one side of the room, and Jimin, Jungkook, and Hoseok were standing at the other side of the room.
Namjoon stared at them, silent. He couldn't comprehend that one- one of his bandmates out of the three murdered... murdered Seokjin.
Taehyung was determined to find out who it was. Yoongi paused, then sat down. "If everyone could sit down, please?"
"Good. We can start." Yoongi said.
Everyone was silent. They felt nervous, even if they "didn't" commit the murder.
"So, Seokjin died a few days ago, correct?"
"Yes."
"And someone in this room right now murdered him, right?"
"Uhh... Yeah, Yoongi-"
"So we're going to find out who it is. Be patient, J's." Yoongi finished.
"J's?" Jungkook chuckled at the name.
"So we're going to need your testimony of what you were doing at the time of his death." Yoongi said. "Jimin, you first."
Jimin stood up, feeling a bit anxious. He knew that they would suspect him most because of his bad terms with Seokjin.
"Okay, I'll tell you what I did on the day." Jimin said.
- Testimony: Argue the Fights -
"So... like, after I walked away from Seokjin I went to the kitchen and saw Taehyung and Hoseok arguing. I tried to like, stop them, but they didn't so I left them and went upstairs, where I saw Jungkook. We talked for a bit and then I left, going to my room. I just went on my phone for the rest of the time and showered until Hoseok had to come in and tell me about Seokjin's death. Huh. How tragic."
Jimin finished. Yoongi perked up. "Okay. Hoseok, Jungkook, and Taehyung. You guys can confirm this, right?"
"Yeah." They nodded, confirming the statement.
"Alright, can I go now?" Jimin said.
"NO!" Yoongi practically shouted, perking up. "Well, er.. I have to question you on some things."
"Go ahead." Jimin shrugged, sitting back down.
- Questioning -
"Alright. Say your testimony again, please." Yoongi asked, politely.
"Sure, whatever.."
- Re. Testimony: Argue the Fights -
"So... like, after I walked away from Seokjin I went to the kitchen and saw Taehyung and Hoseok arguing."
" Hold it, why were they arguing?" Yoongi asked. "Hopefully this isn't for a stupid reason."
"I don't know. Something over chocolate, I guess." Jimin said.
"Hmm... Chocolate. Should probably check on that later, with Hoseok's testimony and to Taehyung privately." Yoongi thought to himself.
"Alright, continue."
" I tried to like, stop them, but they didn't so I left them and went upstairs, where I saw Jungkook."
"Jungkook, huh..?" Yoongi whispered. "And then..?"
"I'm getting to that." Jimin said.
"We talked for a bit and then I left, going to my room-"
" Hold it! What did you talk to Jungkook about?"
"Oh, nothing much. Just told him how annoying you guys are." Jimin hissed.
"...Understood. Go on." Yoongi said.
"I just went on my phone for the rest of the time and showered until Hoseok had to come in and tell me about Seokjin's death. Huh. How tragic."
"Nothing wrong with that statement.." Yoongi thought to himself.
"Is that really it?! Can Jungkook go next now?" Jimin asked, sitting down.
"Yeah, okay." Yoongi said, sighing. It really did seem like Jimin didn't do it. "But what if he was lying?" He doubted. He would just have to wait for the other two to talk about their testimony.
Jungkook stood up, bravely. He quickly shyed down when he noticed all the eyes on him. "Uhm..."
"You can start. It's okay, I just want to know." Yoongi said, calmly.
"Okay.."
- Testimony: A Slice of Gamer -
"There's nothing much I did. All I really did was play games the whole day. I went out once just to get another slice of cake, and all of a sudden everyone's mad and arguing. What a great day to be alive, huh? Couldn't say the same for Seokjin, though.." He mumbled the last part.
Taehyung definitely heard the last part, and smiled a little, but then frowned. Hoseok and Jimin looked at each other.
"Alright, that's it, right? Are you going to question me or something?" Jungkook asked.
"Yes. Now make sure to answer my questions, truthfully." Yoongi said.
"I will. What makes you think I won't?" Jungkook asked.
"Just.. Just my suspicions." Yoongi said, looking away. " Repeat your testimony, please?"

"Oh, maybe it's starting to connect.." Yoongi thought to himself. "Also, ew. Did I really eat a cake with his spit on it?"
Yoongi frowned. This wasn't getting him anywhere.
To be honest, Jungkook's testimony seemed fair. Simple, and to the point. What could he have done?
"Am... Am I done?" Jungkook asked kindly. Yoongi nodded.
At this point, they weren't going anywhere. It was good to know what they've done, but where does that get them?
Taehyung and Namjoon were a bit bored at this point, looking at the clock sometimes.
"Okay, Hoseok. You." Yoongi signalled. Hoseok stood up, fidgeting a bit. He felt very nervous, because if he lied about anything it would be revealed so easily.
He took a deep breath. "Stay calm, Hoseok. You got this."
"Hurry up." Taehyung said.
"Shut up. I'm n-nervous, alright-t?"
"shUt uP. i'M n-nErvOus, alrIgHt-T?" Taehyung mocked. "You know, if you keep acting like that everyone will think you're lying. Murderer."
"Why am I the murderer?"
"Because you are!''
"I'm not! ..Hey, by the way.. there's a chance you might be the murderer, you know."
" How?! Give me a reason why." Taehyung said, crossing his arms.
Yoongi got worried. "No, this isn't how it's supposed to go. Stop arguing, please.."
Jimin and Jungkook made eye contact from behind Hoseok. They were surprised.
Namjoon also wanted them to stop. This was pointless, he just wanted it to be over so he could cry in his room again.
But what Hoseok said next made everyone shocked.
"Well...You murdered your dad, right? It would be sensible you killed Seokjin because of that. Huh, Will you murder me next?!" Hoseok screamed.
Everyone suddenly went silent. They knew that the topic of Taehyung's dad was very sensitive to him.
Hoseok realised what he had said. "Wait, Taehyung..."
Taehyung just got up and ran out of the room, tearing up. "Taehyung!" Jimin ran after him.
"Don't bother." Namjoon said. Jimin turned around. "Huh?"
"He's ran off already. He needs some time for himself." Namjoon said, softly.
"Oh... I guess that makes sense." Jimin sat back down.
Yoongi let out the breath he was holding. "Well, then... Uhh.."
"Yeah, sorry for that. It.. was in the moment of anger."
"Alright, then. You can start." Yoongi said.

"Today I bought a cake, a nice one. It was chocolate, but I made sure Jungkook covered that part. There was barely any chocolate yet, but Taehyung and I argued about it because he was allergic, but a little wouldn't hurt. Jimin tried to stop us but he ended up leaving, and after he did and Taehyung left I just went on my phone. Then, Namjoon texted me saying I had to check on Seokjin, so I did. That's when I found the body."
Hoseok finished, going silent.
"Maybe this might be important. Finally." No one thought, but the feeling definitely was in the air.
"Well, well... Much information for us to sort out." Yoongi said "Let's start from the beginning, shall we?"
"Alright..." Hoseok said.

"Oh. Well, if Jungkook ate all of it, why did he still freak out about it?" Yoongi asked.
"He still has to be cautious." Namjoon said.
"Okay. Continue, please."
"There was barely any chocolate yet, but Taehyung and I argued about it because he was allergic, but a little wouldn't hurt. Jimin tried to stop us but he ended up leaving, and after he did and Taehyung left I just went on my phone."
"Nothing wrong with going on your phone these days... It's pretty normal, actually. For Gen Z. Not us millennials." Yoongi thought to himself.
"Then, Namjoon texted me saying I had to check on Seokjin, so I did. That's when I found the body."
"Hold it! Namjoon texted you?"
"Yeah." Hoseok replied, showing his phone. "I still wonder why he didn't say anything before..." Hoseok thought to himself, putting his phone away.
"Okay, then.." Yoongi said.
Hoseok finished his testimony, sitting down.
"Now what?" Hoseok thought to himself.
"Okay, they've said their alibis. Although, there is no reason to trust you even with the alibi." Yoongi said.
"What?! Why not?!" Jungkook asked.
"You could have lied, for one. Also, there are reasons you guys would have murdered Seokjin."
"Huh?! Tell us.." Jungkook said.
"Well, Jungkook. You have muscles and could easily tackle Jin-hyung and kill him. Also, jealousy. Jimin and Seokjin had that dumb argument earlier, and Jimin could've got mad and murdered him in anger, and Hoseok was in the room last when we found Seokjin." Yoongi said.
"Wait! You were in the room with me when we found his body! You.. Your liar!" Hoseok thought, a bit pissed.
"You heard us?" Jimin asked.
"Of course. Everyone did."
"Wait, I would never-"
"Give me a reason why you wouldn't do it." Yoongi said, interrupting Jungkook.
"Oh, uhh..." Jungkook mumbled.
"I'm literally scared of blood. I threw up when I saw Seokjin's body, you know that. Why would I commit a murder just to leave evidence behind? I'd throw up and it'd be all over the place, ugh." Hoseok quickly said.
"..Understandable." Namjoon said.
"Look, maybe I did argue with Seokjin before he died, but that doesn't mean I murdered him! I wouldn't murder him over an argument. I don't hold those kind of grudges." Jimin said.
"I betcha Taehyung does." Hoseok thought to himself.
"You know I don't act that way anymore. I promise I would have no intention of murdering Seokjin.." Jungkook said.
"Sure. All of you guys can keep on saying that. You're still suspects though, until I find who it is." Yoongi said.
"You know, what if it's one of the rest of you and not us? That stupid note doesn't mean anything. Anyone could've forged it." Jimin said.
"True, true. But it was clear there was blood on his finger. He wrote it, and therefore you guys are the main suspects." Yoongi replied.
"I'm still watching out." Jimin said, looking away.
"Alright! This concludes our trial. You guys can go now, I'll handle the rest. No worry, no stress. My personal motto. But I just wanted to tell you that you may or may not have to say your testimonies to the police. I've got to tell the police too, after all..." Yoongi said, rambling on.
"Sure.." Namjoon said, leaving the room.
"By the way, Jimin, Jungkook, and Hoseok. You're on house arrest." Yoongi said, not glancing at them.
"What?! Why?!" Jimin asked, frantically.
"I don't want a murderer like you to escape, Jimin." Yoongi said. "Go and check on Taehyung."
"Okay.." Jimin said, leaving. "Jungkook, go do whatever you want. Maybe check on Namjoon. Hoseok, stay with me and help me."
Jungkook walked out. Hoseok walked over, sitting beside Hoseok.
"You.. You really think I'm the murderer?"
"I'm sorry."
Profiles:
Kim Seokjin: A very self centered person who might come off as selfish, but in reality he is the eldest of the group and the "big brother". He is very sympathetic to his members, and would die if anything happened to them. He has a lover, Namjoon. He's dead.
Min Yoongi: A cold-hearted person on the outside, but on the inside he is really caring to the other members. Totally fits the "tough and mean but cool" stereotype. He's somewhat of a detective and really good at murder cases somehow, and he uses this to his advantage when they found out Seokjin died.
Jung Hoseok: A happy, hopeful person who makes others happy. At times he can be serious, but at a lot of times he can be a good sport. He reflects his ''ray of sunshine of happiness" on others. Is known for his talent in dancing. Is currently on bad terms with Taehyung. Acts out impulsively when angry. Is currently blamed for murder.
Kim Namjoon: A witted, classy person with a dimple smile. A kind, sweet selfless person who will help you with anything. He's always there for others, but not for himself. He has a lover, Seokjin. Heartbroken?
Park Jimin: A sweet person with a sweet personality. He's very affectionate, but he constantly rebels despite their protests. He is best friends with Taehyung. Is currently blamed for murder.
Kim Taehyung: An outgoing person. Has a "weird" personality, and gets into arguments [Small or Big] alot. He is best friends with Jimin. Currently on bad terms with Hoseok. Has daddy issues.
