Chapter Five
"Are you really serious Lee about this separating from you while these nutcases come after you?" Amanda was serious for even asking the question.
"Of course I am Amanda for the sake of our family and anyone else that will be getting in the way. Do you at least understand?" he cried out with his chest feeling heavy filled with emotion and stress.
"Fine. I will go call the safe house and see what the manager has to say on the subject. But in the meantime I need for you to Billy and my mother when you get the chance?" she went into the library to call Manager Dennis Burnstein that runs the safe house for the past eight years growing at leaps and bounds.
Lee watched his wife leave having to call while he needed to call his other friend's ex-Marines and Naval Seals on whether or not they will be able to help with the dangerous situation.

Evergreen Safehouse TIME 11.30 P.M. On the outskirts of Washington, D.C. with 100 residents had asked for protection for whatever reason.
Manager Dennis Burnstein happens to be working a rare overnight shift with his assistant will be taking over in the morning.
Drinking his strong black coffee since he wasn't used to working overnight. As his wife had come to his office with the coffee and sandwiches along with his favorite snacks being pretzels. Since they do live on the grounds with security having been upgraded with the additional funds from the government and the change in president ousting out the previous of Donald Trump.
His phone started to ring with seeing the caller I.D. with Amanda King Stetson a friend of his from way back. He was wondering why she had been calling him at this late hour.
"Amanda, how are you? What can I do for you at this time of the night?" he sounded slightly annoyed with his response.
"I need your help, Dennis, with protection for my family. There is a threat against Lee after almost being killed earlier and he wants me and the two children along with the nanny to come to the safe house. I have no idea just how long right now Dennis?" she replied with mixed emotion with her tone and demeanor.
"You're going to need two quarters, passes for everyone and most of all the quarters need to be stocked as soon as I know you're becoming to the front gate?" he had to ask with the question since the new living quarters had opened up for location E with the additional clients having arrived the past few weeks.
"How about four hours if possible? I will have the nanny to help with packing the kid's belongings along with mine and the nanny once she contacts the agency that she works for." Amanda exclaimed with a deep breath.
"Make sure the agency that she or he works for will be keeping the information quiet where they will be working?" Dennis looked at the time with needing to contact his second in command for the overnight that will be taking care of the details.
"I will tell her with the details. Lee won't be coming since he's probably going to try and search for those that are out for my husband. I will see you in four hours?" she responded with Lee standing at the entrance of the library.
"See you soon my friend." Dennis hangs up the phone to get to work on the details.
Amanda turned to face her husband with a lost look on his face. "It's what you wanted in the first place. Now if you will excuse me I have packing that needs to be done?" she pushed him back some with exiting the library to head upstairs.
"Amanda wait! I want to say that I love you a great deal and I am going to miss you and the boys?" he responded filled with emotion.
"Do you really Lee?" she walked away from him to head upstairs to speak with the nanny and to begin packing for the trip to the safe house. How long?" she had no idea.
MOVING UPSTAIRS...
After explaining to the nanny Christine about what was going on. She had called the agency telling them the situation. Meanwhile After talking to them. She was packing her own things as with the boy's clothing, toys, and most of all the crib for which Daniel will be staying during his stay at the safe house.
Amanda had been crying while pulling out her suitcases hidden in the back of the closet. She wasn't able to take everything. But she will be taking her own revolver and ammo in order to protect her own self.
Packing some of her jewelry, toiletries, shoes, and clothing. It had taken her almost an hour to finally finished. She needed to make everyone something to eat before leaving. Even though her husband had decided to call for Chinese food trying to make it up to them right now.
Amanda thanked him even though she wasn't in the best of moods to talk. Lee Jr. and Daniel still had two hours before leaving. So Amanda, the nanny, and the boys decided to sleep a little before the drive. Amanda had given the manager four hours and that is exactly what she was going to be doing in the first place.

Two-plus hours later...
Lee had taken all of their personal belongings into the station wagon. While Amanda had asked the nanny to wrap up Daniel and dressing warmly for Lee Jr. wearing his black jacket, hat, and gloves before being placed into the back and strapped in with the nanny to be holding Daniel part ways before being placed in his safety seat.
He watched them move off without Amanda giving him a goodbye kiss like always. He hated this for the most part. Even though the last time when he had lost his memories for those two-plus months really was hard on Amanda pregnant at the time with Daniel.
