DIFFERENT POINTS IN TIME

When Erasure is activated, Eraserhead can disable a person's Quirk Factor and cease their abilities from functioning. It works very well against emitter- and transformation-class quirks, but against mutant types, it can only render the mutation unusable temporarily - Izuku Midoriya's notes on Eraserhead from Hero Analysis for the Future (No. 13)

"Then tell us..." Deku says, completely changing his attitude and overall aura. "What did you do to us? Why can't we use our quirks?"

Something about him scares the bat girls- I know they said their names earlier. Well, I don't remember it! All I remember is that they have the nerve to call themselves Night Angels and that I can't use my quirk while THEY CAN!

Speaking of them using their quirk, they flew higher to separate themselves from us because of Deku's aura. Ha! As they should! But not because of shitty Deku. If I get my hands on them- quirk or no quirk- I am gonna-

Vamp One hesitatingly speaks, "Q- Quirk? I don't know what you're talking about, but… We can explain. Well, somehow… It's, uh, hard to explain-"

"Where's my support item, you fake vamps?!" I demanded from them.

Vamp One tilts her head as if I said something alien to her. "Support item? Wait- We're not vampi-"

"Why did you take it?!" I insisted. As if I'd let her innocent act get to me.

"Listen, hot head." Surprisingly, Vamp Two descends a little. Brave of her. So, she's trying to show that she's not afraid of us, huh. That's where she's wrong.

In a calm controlled voice, she continues, "We did not hide or take anything. When we saved you from crashing to your deaths, you were barely wearing any clothes much less any item or equipment. Now, if you would let us finish speaking, we might be able to tell you what happened to us" US?! We're the only ones who're quirkless here! That little-

Deku puts a hand on my shoulder to calm me (AS IF THAT WOULD WORK) and begins with, "We want to trust you, but how can we when you won't even show us your faces?"

The bat girls shared a look before they nodded together and flew down. They land a few feet from us, tuck in their bat wings, and then they remove the masks covering the lower half of their faces.

I'm pretty sure my eyes grew twice its size. "What the fu-" I started but shitty Deku interrupts me (HOW DARE HE) and asks, just as surprised, "You're twins?"

"Obviously. Now, are you ready to listen?" Said Vamp One flatly. Or Vamp Two? I'm not sure. I'm still pretty shocked at what I'm seeing. It's not like twins are so rare that their appearance is that shocking. Same with wings or whatever other mutation. That's pretty normal. BUT TWINS WITH THE SAME EXACT QUIRK?!

"Yes, uhm, Mi- Sor- No… Uhm." Deku looks at the twins back and forth.

One of them, the long-haired one, rolls her eyes and approaches, sitting down near the campfire. "I am Sora. Bangs, long hair, light red eyes. My twin, Miu," she points at the other one who's following close behind her, "Short hair, dark red eyes. Okay? Moving on."

Deku glances at me. What does that mean?

"We are on this unnamed island," Vamp- Sora starts. "Miu and I, we have heard rumors that this island makes everyone go back to normal-"

"Removing quirks?" Deku clarifies.

"There's that word again! What is that? Quirk?" Miu asks, confusion evident on her face.

"Miu, it must be something the government came up with. They are pro heroes, remember? Dogs of the government," Sora answers with a hint of venom in her monotone voice. This girl is really testing me.

I can't help but do what I'm best at; explode. "Whatcha say, bitch?! You're- mmph mm mh"

Deku, a strange something on his face, covers my mouth (covers MY MOUTH) and asks, "Can I ask how you saved us? Also… Uhm… What did you think happened to us? Why do you think we're so injured?"

Why is he even asking that?

Vamp One (Miu) looks at Vamp Two (Sora) for her approval before answering, "You both came out from a hole in the sky. We're guessing it is someone's meta ability." Did she just call it a meta ability? "Sora even saw one person come out of the hole after you but we couldn't catch whoever it was. You fought with them and you lost, didn't you?"

I felt a vein pop in my head and suddenly it's so hot. I can feel my temperature rising. "What? Me?! LOSE?! I will blast your face off!"

"Kacchan, calm down!"

"I'm Dynamight, shitty Deku!"

"Sorry, uhm…" He turns to the twin bats, dismissing me. The nerve- "Do you know about any war happening right now?" Deku asks the two.

How could they not? Dumb Deku-

"A war?" Vamp Two thinks carefully. "I do not think there is a war, but it is chaos. What with all the protest and hate crimes. But, there is this guy. I heard he is uniting forces to take on the government. He has a weird name. Uhm… All For- What is it?"

"All For One," Deku supplements. What did he just say?

Shocked- I'm feeling quite a lot of that today- and confused, I turned to Deku and said, "Oy, oy, oy. Don't fucking tell me we're…"

I referred to the women in front of us, "Oy, you twin vamps, don't you know that we are- well, were in a war? We've been for about a year now! You know? The Great Quirk War!"

The twins shake their heads, extremely confused.

Deku finally understands and so do I.

Who knew that this would actually happen in real life?

"What year is it?" Deku asks.

"It's 19XX," Vamp One answers proudly.

Vamp Two, however, studies the look on our faces- So she's the brain of the operation, huh?- and questions us, "Why? What year do you think it is?"

"It should be 20XX!" Deku and I shout at the same time.

In another part of the island…

A tall, lean, hooded figure walks through the forest and picks up Bakugo's missing Grenadier Bracer from a bundle of weeds. Inspecting the broken item curiously, the person mumbles in a deep, quiet voice, "Oh… So we got someone from the future this time, huh? This technology is… astonishing. Probably decades ahead of our time! Maybe a century? I don't know! But nevertheless, this is still an accomplishment!"

He turns and kneels down. The cloak pools around him as he matches the height of the smaller person behind him. "Great job, Wormhole. I'm more than pleased with your performance."

The smaller hooded person bows just as a third one breaks through the trees in a rush. Out of breath, the third hooded person says, "I apologize for the interruption, but…"

"What is it?"

"Someone's trying to use their meta abilities. Two… No," the newcomer shivers. "Four people."

"Four? I thought we only got two?"

A fourth one follows close behind. Under the hood, this person is wearing a gas mask with black eyes. "Yes. Just two emitters, from that battlefield," she says with a silky voice.

"I don't know how, but there are two more and they're heteromorphic. I'm powerless against them," the third person says, anxiety seeping through his voice.

The tallest one, who seems to be their leader, confidently stands and throws Bakugo's grenadier to the ground. A malicious laugh comes out as he says, "It's alright. Heteromorphics are just weak disfigured humans and the two emitters are basically useless as of the moment. Besides…"

The four turns to glance at the fifth hooded person. This one is bigger than all of them combined; he's almost as tall as the tree he's clinging on to. His eyes opened, revealing only white.

The leader smiles confidently, his dark handsome face being revealed by a stream of moonlight. "I haven't seen anyone defeat our big guy yet."

**~A/N [05/11/2021]~** Just a little explanation on the decades or century technological advancement comment: Even if, technically there's more than 100 years difference from the "present" and the "past", the technology isn't as advanced as the people in the "past" expected. Why? It has been noted that technological advancements slowed down after the quirk outbreak because, well, the human race got the most "advancement". They evolved from normal humans to superhumans with abilities that made them able to do things without aid from technology (at least some). I believed it was mentioned somewhere in the manga. I just can't remember when. Sooooo, how'd you like Bakugo's POV? And who do you think the hooded figures are? *wiggles eyebrows* Stay tuned! XX

**~A/N [05/12/2021]~** After careful consideration of a very helpful feedback from fencer29 (thank you so much btw), I decided to edit some of the lines and refine the timeline a bit. If anyone cares to read, here's an explanation of how I came up with the timeline (thanks to the help of fandom wiki, reddit, and multitudes of fan discussions.)

Fact: When Midoriya gets his hero license, the year on it says 20XX

Assumption for the sake of the story: It's still 20XX after Midoriya left UA and 'The Great Quirk War' happened.

F: Midoriya's mom, Inko, is a 4th generation quirk user.

AFTSOTS: 4 generations, I assume, is about equal to over 100 years. So, subtracting that from 20XX puts the beginning of quirks in the early 19XX (for now).

F: There's been 8 previous holders of One For All.

AFTSOTS: One For All was passed on about every "half-generation" (ie: Nana gives OFA to All Might in his teens, same with All Might to Midoriya. These two instances don't happen every generation [27-33 years], but around half of that [14-16 years]). 8 divided by 2 = 4 generations which is about over 100 years. If we consider the average holding time for each user to be around 15 years, 15 x 8=120, and we can add another decade or so for users that held on to it longer than that. 120-150 is the best estimate for the age of OFA.

F: All for One's age is not that much older than his brother, the first user of One for All.

AFTSOTS: Seeing that OFA has been around for 120-150 years, AFO would also be around that age. (He has some sort of immortality or vitality quirk that makes it possible.)

Now to the OCs... Sora and Miu are first generation quirk users, being born just a few months after the Luminescent Baby (the very first one). I'm not sure if it's been specified, but based on the age, I made AFO a first generation quirk user as well, making him and the twins around the same age.

To avoid confusion, I removed any mention of the Meta Liberation Army in the story because it could have only been founded less than 100 years from 20XX. (Thank you for pointing it out fencer29!)

So, Sora and Miu are living in 19XX, 120-150 years earlier than 20XX where Midoriya and Bakugo came from.
