Maggie went to find OA and they headed out in to the field together, she was driving them to the hospital to talk to the victims husband. OA let them travel in silence for a few minutes before he finally looked at Maggie "Is everything okay? You seemed kinda distracted in the JOC and then you disappeared there for a little bit as well."

Maggie smiled softly hearing the concern from OA, he really was the best partner that she could have asked for "I'm just worried about Erin I was trying to get in contact with her but I couldn't reach her."

"She's been at Columbia University now for a few months right? I hope that everything is okay with her?." OA had known that Maggie had seemed worried about her sister coming to New York but never said why, he just put it down to her acting like the big sister that she was.

"Yeah she only started a few months ago, things with Erin are complicated, I'm just trying my best to be her big sister and look out for her. But thank you for checking OA I really appreciate it."

"Well it's your first day back and we've been handed a big case straight away so I just wanted to check in with you to make sure you were doing okay."

"I really appreciate it thank you. I think it might be better to get back into things straight away, you know that I'm never good at just sitting around in the office." Maggie chuckled playfully but she really did appreciate OA's concern. Their conversation was ended as they pulled up at the hospital, but as they headed towards the victims husband room she sent Erin a message asking her to either text back or ring and sent another telling Erin that they really needed to talk.

Jubal was working on something in the JOC when Emily appeared beside him "Hey Jubal security rang up to say that there is an Erin down stairs claims to be Maggie's sister, but I've never even saw a picture of Maggie's sisters so I'm not sure. I was thinking that you would know."

Jubal stood up when he heard Emily, he didn't even think twice about why Emily had come to him with this straight away and not maybe Kristen. "Thank's Emily, I'll go and take care of it." He smiled at Emily before leaving the JOC and heading down to the security at their main door and he saw Erin standing with one of the guards. Jubal smiled when he saw Erin "It's okay you guys she's with me."

The security guard let Erin through who came walking over to Jubal and gave him a quick hug "Hey Jubal, thanks for that. I guess that I should have checked if Mags was here before showing up."

Jubal hugged Erin back and led her towards the elevator to head back up to the JOC "She's out on a case right now but she shouldn't be too long. You can wait with me upstairs in one of our conference rooms. Is everything okay?" He was worried that Erin had just shown up like this as it wasn't like her.

"You need to ask Mags that, she has been blowing my phone up all morning and won't stop so I came to see what is going on."

Jubal stepped on to the elevator with Erin "You haven't been checking in with your parents as much as you have been so they are worried about you. They contacted Mags to see if she had seen you or spoke to you, she's just worried about you and looking out for you."

"My sister really does tell you everything huh?" Erin had really liked Jubal from they had first met, she had found him easy to talk to "I've just been really busy with Uni work, I think they all forget that I do actually have work to do and Mags wanted me to try and make some new friends so that's what I've been trying to do. I haven't really had the chance to catch up with Maggie since she finished that assignment."

Jubal led the way to one of the conference rooms where the blinds were open so that Maggie could see them when she came back on to their floor. He closed the door once Erin stepped inside the room and he walked over to the window leaning against the small ledge as he looked at Erin,

"Your sister and I don't keep anything from each other and Mags just wants to check in and make sure all is okay with you. I'm sorry that you haven't had time to catch up with her since she has come home that's partly my fault, we've had the kids for a few days."

Erin smiled shaking her head "You don't have to apologise Jubal, you had told us that Mags had been struggling with everything so taking time with you and the kids I'm sure has helped her. She's doing okay though right? I mean she is back at work."

Jubal couldn't help the smile as he saw that Erin was concerned about her older sister "I promise that she's doing okay, today is her first day back, could have definitely asked for an easier first day back but she was ready to come back. She has really missed getting time with you though."

"Having to worry about me is the last thing that she needs on her first day back to work and I know she is going to be full on big sister mode and FBI agent mode when she gets back here." Erin pulled a face as she shook her head laughing and then smiled when she heard Jubal "I've missed hanging out with her too."

Jubal and Erin started catching up on different things, she was filling him in on how her course was going at Uni and that she was trying to talk to more people to make friends instead of always hanging out in her dorm. They weren't sure how long they were chatting before Jubal spotted Maggie stepping off the elevator "Your sister is back." Jubal opened the conference room door "Maggie, Erin is here to see you."

Maggie was talking to OA as she stepped off the elevator but hearing Jubal calling her name caught her attention straight away. She was surprised to hear him, she told OA that she would come find him to introduce him to Erin before she left as she headed towards the conference room. Jubal smiled when Maggie reached the room and he touched Maggie's elbow "I'll give you two some time alone." He looked over his shoulder at Erin "Erin it was really good to see you I do hope you take up your sister's offer to join us for dinner this week."

Erin smiled looking at Jubal "Thank you for sitting with me until Mags came back and I will definitely join you guys for dinner this week."

Jubal looked at Maggie smiling at her before he stepped out of the room and closed the door behind him so that Maggie and Erin could have some privacy. Maggie looked at her younger sister "What are you doing here Erin?."

"You left a voicemail and wouldn't stop texting me, so I decided to come and see you in person." Erin stood up and walked over and hugged her sister "It's really good to see you."

Maggie smiled hugging her sister back "It's really good to see you too Erin." Maggie frowned as she stepped back "Why do you smell of smoke, have you been smoking?."

"No. Some of the people that I was with this morning for breakfast were smoking."

"Is that why you missed your class this morning?" When Erin raised her eyebrow Maggie continued "I was able to check on our family to family app."

"Some people invited me to breakfast this morning so I decided to join them, you told me to try and make new friends and that's what I've been trying to do."

Maggie watched her sister for a minute and titled her head a little "Why do your eyes look glassy?."

Erin sighed in frustration, she knew she was going to get big sister and FBI agent mode from Maggie "I was up until four in the morning studying, I'll take a drug test if you want me to but you can't keep checking on my every move like this Maggie it isn't fair. I can't live with you blowing up my phone every time that I skip a class because you jump to the conclusion that I must be getting wasted."

"I'm just trying to look out for you and care for you Erin but I know that I probably overstepped by checking if you had attended class."

"I know you are doing it because you love me Mags but I'm really doing okay."

Before Maggie could reply OA was knocking and stepping into the room "Maggie I'm really sorry to interrupt you both but we are needed in the JOC."

Maggie nodded hearing OA and she smiled softly "OA this is my younger sister Erin, Erin this is my partner OA."

OA smiled stepped forward shaking Erin's hand "It's nice to finally meet you Erin, Maggie has talked a lot about you."

Erin smiled "Good to finally meet you too OA, I've heard a lot about you, but you two should go, don't let me keep you back from work. Maggie I'll talk to you later."

Maggie hugged Erin and called over one of the younger agents to get them to walk Erin back down to the ground floor to let her out of the building. She watched Erin step on to the elevator before heading in to the JOC as Jubal was filling them in about their suspect. Maggie and OA were sent along with a SWAT team to a summer house that was owned by their suspects parents. On the way to the house Maggie text Erin asking if she wanted to join her and Jubal for dinner tonight or that it could just be the two of them. Maggie could see the three dots that showed her sister was typing but no reply had come through.

When they arrived at the house they entered after SWAT and were checking out the house, Maggie went into what appeared to be a home office and she was distracted thinking about Erin having glassy eyes, smelling of smoke and not texting back that she didn't realise that she had lifted a book that was a booby trap. Thankfully OA had walked in just as Maggie had lifted the book and noticed the trap straight away and told her to freeze until he found that it was safe for her to set the book back down.

Maggie sat it back down carefully and left the house walking out the front door and on to the beach to let them check the house for any other traps. She thanked OA for noticing the trap in time and told him to check in with the team as she stepped away from him to walk along the beach a little bit, she needed to clear her head. She walked until she found a log that she could sit on and was still able to see the house and OA from where she was. After a few minutes had passed she heard her phone ringing and took it out straight away hoping that it was Erin, she closed her eyes when she saw Jubal's name she knew why he was ringing. Maggie took a deep breath and answered.

"So I'm going to guess that you have been talking to OA?."

"Mags what the hell happened in there, he said you lifted a book that was a booby trap?." Jubal wasn't sure if the case was maybe too soon for Maggie with this being her first case back or if this was to do with Erin.

Maggie sighed softly when she heard the concern in Jubal's voice "I was so distracted Jubal that I didn't even notice…" she went quiet for a few seconds that felt like minutes to them both "I could have killed OA and the whole SWAT team."

"And yourself baby." Jubal said it so quietly as if he was afraid to actually say it out loud. "Talk to me Mags what's going on."

Maggie closed her eyes again when she heard Jubal to stop tears from falling as she heard his almost whisper "I can't stop thinking about Erin, she's not okay Jubal and I don't know what to do. I wanted to talk to you to see what you thought, you saw her. I text her and she's avoiding me again."

Jubal had wanted to talk to Maggie after seeing Erin but with this case they had to move quickly before another bomb went off. "We do need to talk about Erin baby but we will do that when you come back here okay? And Mags you aren't alone in any of this, I'm right by your side I promise."

"You know you are going to bring me to tears with how sweet you are to me." She chuckled softly as she was struggling to keep her emotions in check "I'll be back there soon babe, OA is walking towards me so I gotta go. I love you."

"No tears allowed." He teased playfully knowing that Maggie was joking to try and stop herself from crying. Jubal knew she was really struggling when she took the risk to tell him on the phone that she loved him "I love you too baby and we will help Erin together."
