Before the European Title match, a cage was lowered from the ceiling and after both competitors came to the ring, Commissioner Slaughter came to ringside to oversee Chyna being caged. Once she was locked in, but with Triple H still paying attention to her, Owen Hart attacked Triple H from behind and fought him up the ramp and back down, throwing him into the cage and then suplexing him on the walkway, taunting him with an ironic crotch chop before rolling him into the ring for the match to be officially started. They were not in the ring long though, as Hart immediately clotheslined the champion out again, and watched Chyna's cage ascend. Triple H eventually managed to fight back after much dominance from Hart, using a flying knee while Hart was running. He slowed down the match after a suplex with an inverted backbreaking sleeper hold and despite some fight back from Hart, Triple H mostly managed to keep subdue him with a variety of holds. Hart reversed the second time Helmsley applied the backbreaker sleeper by bridging into a standing position and then performing a backflip to allow a belly to back suplex. It was at this point that Chyna's attempts to break free from the cage, that had been going on all match, came to fruition with the steel bars bending under her hold. While Hart continued to throw Triple H around, Chyna gradually climbed out of the cage but was too far to drop down. The cage suddenly lowered, revealed to be Road Dogg at the controls, allowing her to drop off and jump to the apron causing Hart to let go of the Sharpshooter hold on Helmsley in order to push her to the ground. Slaughter appeared with a number of referees to dispatch Chyna and so nobody could make a pin count when Hart executed his opponent's own finisher, The Pedigree, neither did they see when X-Pac stormed the ring, attacking Hart with a fire extinguisher for Triple H to steal the match again.D'Lo Brown began the six-man tag match with a snap suplex on Steve Blackman but a reversal allowed Blackman to take control and soon things heated up when ex-Nation member Faarooq was tagged in, scoop slamming Brown and then untying his belt to whip Brown with, while The Rock complained to the referee preventing him from seeing the illegal weapon. The Nation varied between the slow, heavy style of Mark Henry, the quick pace of The Rock and Brown's flying manoeuvres to dominate Blackman with The Rock eventually landing the People's Elbow. The match would turn after Brown missed a moonsault, allowing for Blackman to tag in Faarooq, taking down the newly tagged Rock and an interfering Henry when all six men came in the ring. The non-legal men soon brawled out of the ring leaving the legal men to complete the match after Faarooq reversed a DDT attempt into his Dominator to win the match. After the match, Stone Cold Steve Austin came to the ring, bringing the official timekeeper with him, and threatening the timekeeper to call the match right down the middle, regardless of what Vince McMahon's orders to him were.

An unscheduled NWA match between The New Midnight Express and The Rock 'n' Roll Express began with Robert Gibson circling Bodacious Bart and after some grapple take downs both teams changed partners. Ricky Morton ducked under a kick from Bombastic Bob, with Bob accidentally striking Bart. The same thing would happen again with Morton hung on the ropes, Gibson was pulled into the ring and Bob Irish whipped him into Morton, only for it to be reversed and Morton to step away, allowing Bob to run into Bart and push him off the ring apron. Despite some in-fighting, the match soon continued with an abdominal stretch on Morton being aided with Bart holding onto Bob's hand. As the referee saw it, Jim Cornette came into the ring to complain to referee Tim White at which point a fight almost broke out between the two, the wrestlers breaking them apart. After both Midnight members dominated Morton, Gibson's tag managed to turn things around with the Rock N Roll Express performing a simultaneous turnbuckle ten-punch and Irish whipping the Midnighters into each other. The pin count was almost broken up by a high flying Jim Cornette, but Gibson released the pin and Cornette bodysplashed Bob. It amounted to little though, when Bart quickly ran into a bulldog on Gibson and pinned him before Morton could break up the fall.

The first ever WWF evening gown match started with both women pulling at each other's clothes and hair, Sable ripping off Luna Vachon's two gloves before taking a kick to the stomach and a choke in the corner. As the referee tried to drag Vachon away from the corner, she grabbed onto Sable and unwittingly pulled off her skirt. Having been pulled apart, Sable speared Vachon and began to punch her on the ground and into the turnbuckle. Marc Mero came down to the ring and distracted Sable, but while she was distracted, Vachon yanked her top away from behind and won the match. Despite the match being over, Sable quickly assaulted Vachon and powerbombed her in the ring, before pulling off her gown as Vachon tried to escape. The pair continued their brawl, going underneath the ring for a short while until Sable reappeared and climbed back into the ring holding Vachon's underwear, leaving Goldust to take her backstage wrapped in his ring coat.

The New Age Outlaws came out ostensibly accompanied by Dean Smith, which turned out to be merely a blow up doll. A large amount of ducking clotheslines prevented either competitor to take early advantage, with Animal also reversing a double-team move from both Outlaws. Animal then tagged in Hawk who dominated both Road Dogg and then Billy Gunn through various slams and running strikes. The Outlaws began to control the match after Gunn struck Animal's leg as LOD 2000 tried to finish Road Dogg with a Doomsday Device. Animal's knee became a target as both Outlaws frequently tagged, keeping their opponent mostly on the ground and focusing moves on the knee. After a collision that saw both Road Dogg and Animal grounded, both wrestlers tagged in their respective partners and Hawk came in with a flurry of clotheslines but as he pinned Road Dogg from a top rope splash, the referee had to help Animal back to his corner. This allowed Gunn to attack Hawk with the title belt. Hawk kicked out though, and with the referee again distracted, Hawk was held up to be struck again with the belt but ducked, leaving Road Dogg to strike Gunn and as Road Dogg looked on in shock, Hawk used a German suplex pin. However, the Outlaws were announced as winners as the referee was actually counting Hawk, whose shoulders were also on the mat under Road Dogg's legs. Hawk then clotheslined the referee, and LOD attacked the referee with a Doomsday Device.

Tennessee Lee then appeared to introduce Sawyer Brown who performed 'backing vocals', to their song "Some Girls Do" with Jeff Jarrett. After the song finished Steve Blackman jumped on the band stage and kicked down Jarrett but Lee saved his client with a guitar shot and Jarrett kept Blackman down with a figure four leg lock.

The first WWF Inferno Match started with The Undertaker kicking Kane into the turnbuckle and dragging his hand to the flames but Kane turned things round and kicked The Undertaker into the turnbuckle. Undertaker quickly grabbed Kane's hand and threw him into the opposing turnbuckle and ran into a diving crossbody before twisting Kane's hand and walked the top rope for Old School as the flames shot high. Kane soon fought The Undertaker to the mat, trying to push his face underneath the ropes into the flames but Undertaker delivered a thumb to his opponent's weak eye. Paul Bearer threw a chair to Kane which helped him knock Undertaker to the ground, but it did little good as he soon fought back when he was dragged by his hair near the flames. The two continued to fight back and forth, with no obvious dominant wrestler despite a chokeslam from both parties. Undertaker almost set himself on fire when Kane sidestepped a leaping flying clothesline and landed just short of the flames. Kane replied by going to the top rope but the ropes were shaken underneath him, seeing him fall foul to a superplex. As the two recovered, Undertaker sidestepped a running attack and threw Kane over the top ropes though he did not catch fire. Kane then began to leave the arena but was prevented from this by the returning Vader, who fought Kane back towards the ring where both men met with an over the top rope suicide dive. All the while, Paul Bearer had grabbed a steel chair and was walking round to hand it to Kane only for Undertaker to grab it and kick Bearer away, knocking Kane out with a shot. Undertaker then chased Bearer away up to the band stage and put his head through a bass drum, making him bleed. As Undertaker walked back down to the ring, he delivered a big boot, forcing Kane to fall backwards onto the ring and flames making his right arm catch ablaze and he ran from the arena.

Now it was time for the WWF Championship Main Event.

In the arena, Stone Cold's theme hits to a pop and out comes the Texas Rattlesnake, heading down towards the ring. He was looking to walk out tonight with the WWF Championship. He didn't do it at WrestleMania, but he was sure he will walk out as Champion tonight no matter what.

"The following contest is scheduled for one-fall and is for the World Wrestling Federation Championship!" Howard Finkel announced. "Introducing the opponent, from Victoria, Texas, weighing 252 lbs...STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN!"

"And Austin is focused here tonight." JR says. "He is looking to walk out of here as the new WWF Champion but first he has to defeat the Champion himself, and the Champion has only lost one match in his career."

Well Austin is gonna have to pull out all the stops for this one." Lawler shakes his head. "The Bladewolf is no man who will go easy on ya, he will do whatever it takes to hold onto that WWF Championship no matter what."

"Damn right there, King." JR nods as Austin gets into the ring and poses on the turnbuckles. "Austin says he did not walk out of WrestleMania as the WWF Champion, but that ain't happening at Unforgiven here tonight. He says he will walk out as the new WWF Champion and nobody is gonna stop that from happening."

"Austin as this company's champion? that's as worse as Bladewolf being this company's champion." Lawler says.

Austin's theme dies down as the Rattlesnake stares at the stage, waiting for the Champion. The crowd was divided right now as they were chanting the names of both Austin and Bladewolf.

'Austin! Bladewolf! Austin! Bladewolf!'

"Crowd divided here tonight, and the Bladewolf is making Austin wait." JR says.

OOOOOOWHOOOOOO!

A bell begins tolling after the wolf howl as Jim Johnston's Dark Side starts up. Fire goes off at the entrance and the lights change to dark red and dark blue as the Bladewolf walks out with the WWF Championship around his waist.

"here he comes." JR says. "The man who has carved a path of destruction since September. Just six months into his time here in the WWF, Bladewolf has become WWF champion, and the youngest man to win it at 21 years old. Not even a year into the business, king."

"That is impressive." Lawler nods.

"And his opponant, from Death Valley, weighing 310 lbs, the World Wrestling Federation Champion...THE BLADEWOLF!" Howard Finkel announced before leaving the ring.

"Bladewolf has been Champion for 28 days thus far and has defended the title once and that was against Dude Love last Monday night on RAW." JR recalls as Bladewolf makes his way towards the ring, his demonic eyes on Austin.

Bladewolf stops at the ring apron, staring straight at Austin before he takes off his trench coat then climbs onto the ring apron and climbs over the top rope, reaching behind him to takes off the WWF Championship, placing it onto his shoulder as his theme dies down and the lights go back to normal.

The referee checks both men for any illegal weapons before asking for the title which Bladewolf gives him. the referee raises the title before giving it to someone at ringside then calls for the bell.

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

Austin and Bladewolf wasted no time in going on the attack, instantly trading back and fourth right hands with one another in a slug fest until Bladewolf ducks a right and knees Austin in the stomach then drops a forearm across his back, sending Austin to a knee. Bladewolf drives his knee into the side of Austin's head then boots him in the side of the head when Austin went to his hands and knees. Bladewolf stomps away on Austin time and time again before backing off and adjusts his left elbow pad before walking over and grabs Austin who fights back with right hands.

"Austin fighting back!" JR exclaims. "He's fighting back, King."

"What's that gonna do? You need to make sure Bladewolf can't get back up if Austin hopes to pin him!" Lawler points out.

Austin keeps up the assault before he Irish whips Bladewolf off the ropes but Bladewolf comes back with a flying clothesline. He goes for the cover but Austin kicks out at two. Bladewolf gets to a knee and hammers away at Austin's skull, forcing the Rattlesnake to cover up. Bladewolf stands up before he stomps on Austin's stomach then hits a leg drop across Austin's throat, hooking the leg again but Austin kicks out at two once more.

Bladewolf gets to his feet, flipping his hair back before he grabs Austin once more and tosses him out of the ring near the commentary table. Bladewolf follows and grabs Austin, going to bash his face off the commentary table but Austin blocks it, elbows Bladewolf in the gut before driving his masked face into the table, sending the 7ft monster to a knee.

"Bladewolf down to a knee now." JR notes. Austin grabs Bladewolf and repeatedly bashes his masked face off the table. "good God! Austin repeatedly driving Bladewolf's face into the table right in front of us!"

Austin stops and shoves Bladewolf down. Bladewolf shakes his head before he was stomped on by Austin who picks him up before Irish whipping him straight into the steel steps, sending them right off.

"Good grief." Lawler says.

"Austin is doing whatever he can to hurt the Champion and make sure he cannot get back up." JR says.

Austin walks over to Bladewolf who gets to a knee and suddenly whirls around, punching Austin in the stomach before standing up and headbutts Austin. Bladewolf grabs Austin and then bounces his head off the metal guard railing, sending Austin down to both knees, looking a little dizzy. Bladewolf grabs Austin and sends him back into the ring and rolls in after him to stop the referee's count.

Bladewolf tackles Austin down when he stood up and unloads with hammering rights into Austin's ribcage until Austin rolls them over and unleashes a fury of rights to the masked face of the Bladewolf until Bladewolf rolls them over and repeats the hammering fights.

"Good God, both of these men want to tear each other apart." Lawler says with wide eyes as both men roll about punching each other.

Bladewolf gets to his feet and pulls Austin to his before hitting hard rights to the forehead of Austin, causing the Rattlesnake to stumble back before Bladewolf goes for a clothesline but Austin boots Bladewolf in the gut and then shoves him...STRAIGHT INTO THE REFEREE!

"Oh God! The referee's down now, JR!" Lawler exclaims.

"there's no referee! Anything goes now!" JR says.

Bladeowlf and Austin went at it once more, throwing fights at each other until Bladeowlf clotheslines Austin over the top rope and follows him. Bladewolf looks at the knocked out referee before he looks underneath the ring and pulls out a steel chair to a pop from the fans.

"Oh no." Lawler says with dread and worry.

"You do NOT want to let that man get his hands on any kind of weapon, he will use it in a sadistic fashion. Look at what he did to triple H at Survivor Series last year." JR says.

Bladewolf lines the chair up before swinging...AND NAILS A CHAIR SHOT TO AUSTIN'S FOREHEAD! Bladewolf unloads with chair shot after chair shot to Austin before tossing the chair aside. Austin crawls up the ramp with Bladeowlf following. Austin gets to his feet and the two slug it out once more, ending up at where the musical instruments were set up for that band that played earlier tonight.

They fight on it, trading back and fourth right hands until Bladewolf headbutts Austin then sets him up into a Powerbomb position but struggles to lift Austin up as the Rattlesnake fights back before he lifts Bladewolf over...AND BLADEWOLF LANDS ON THE CONCRETE BELOW!

"Oh my God! Did you hear that?!" JR asks. "Bone meeting concrete!"

"That had to hurt." Lawler winces.

Austin gets down from the band stage and grabs Bladewolf, bringing him towards the ring before he hits a suplex...AND BLADEWOLF'S LEG HITS THE STEEL STEPS! Bladewolf clutches his right leg in pain as Austin stands up. He grabs Bladewolf and pulls him to his feet but Bladeowlf shoves him straight into the ring apron before seeing Vince McMahon coming down which annoyed the WWF Champion.

Bladewolf grabs the chair from earlier and swings it but Austin pushes it to his face and hits it again as Bladewolf goes down. Vince tries to help Bladewolf up but the WWF Champion pushes him off, "This is my fight, I don't need your help. So stay the hell out of my way." he says.

Bladewolf turns to Austin and ducks the chair swing from Austin as it hits Vince in the head!

"The chair just struck Mr. McMahon!" Lawler says with horror.

Bladewolf goes on the attack, brings Austin to the ring, and grabs him by the throat before lifting him up...AND PLANTS HIM WITH A CHOKESLAM! HE HOOKS THE LEG!...BUT THERE's NO REFEREE!

"No referee!" JR says. "Bladewolf could've retained the title there."

Bladewolf growls in annoyance before seeing the referee beginning to come around so he grabs Austin and lifts him onto his shoulders, looking for the Wolf's Howl it seems. Austin wiggles and fights out of it, Bladewolf turns around into a boot to the gut...THEN THE STONE COLD STUNNER! AUSTIN HOOKS THE LEGS! The referee is groggy! ONE!...TWO!...THREE! WE HAVE A NEW CHAMPION!

'Ding! Ding! Ding!'

Austin's theme plays to a pop from the fans, although there was some boos as some fans wanted Bladewolf to retain the title. "Here is your winner and the NEW WWF Champion...STONE COLD STEVE AUSTIN!"

Austin is awarded the title as Bladewolf rolls out the ring, furious at the loss but he heads to the back instead of doing anything as Austin celebrates his win.

So Bladewolf has lost the WWF Championship. I know it's only been nearly a month and his first reign, but he will eventually get the title back just not now. His focus will be on getting another title eventually before he gets back into the WWF title picture. I want Bladewolf to EARN his way into the picture instead of being given it like Hulk Hogan has.
