Isiah Heffery feared very little things. Fear was a safety hazard with the job he had. Yet, fear filled every part as he dangled off the building. "Are you ready to talk?" The person holding him asked.
"I never snitch on a client," Isiah coughed. He could barely make out what his attacker looked like. He could just assume they were a woman based on their body shape. She was wearing a dark blue jumpsuit. All of her exposed skin was covered with bandages, including her entire face. They had long blonde hair that was fashioned into a ponytail.
She released her grip on his neck. "Okay, I'll talk," Isiah screamed. She grabbed the area just below his chin. "I'll tell you where the Black Dragon Camp is. Just put me back on the roof, please."
She tossed him back onto the roof. He scrapped his face against the concrete, but he didn't care. "Now spill," the girl growled.
"Do you have something I can write it down on?" Isiah asked. She tossed him a notepad and pen. He wrote it down quickly. The writing was sloppy, but it wasn't unreadable. He handed her the notepad.
"A lot of people want you dead," the woman said. "Apparently, one of your merchandise was an ambassador's daughter. I'll give you twenty-four hours to turn yourself into the police. If you don't, I won't hesitate to finish the job. I'd be more than happy to get another child trafficker off the streets."
"Why should I?" Isiah asked. She shot the ground beside his head.
"I never miss," the woman said. She then vanished into the night.
The woman arrived at the Black Dragon Compound. She climbed on the roof until she was above Kano's office. All of her training led to this faithful moment. She kicked on the skylight until it shattered.
She fell into the small office. Kano looked up from his paperwork. "I was wondering when you'd show up," Kano said. "You've been making your way through my ranks. I have to say that I'm impressed. Under other circumstances, I'd offer you a job."
"Not interested," the woman said. She pointed her guns at Kano. "I've been waiting for this day. The day I'd finally get to put a bullet right between the brows. Now, I'm not going to waste any more time."
The woman's fingers touched the trigger. As she was about to pull it, more people burst into the office. The attack was led by General Sonya Blade. "Agh, so we meet again, Mrs. Blade," Kano taunted.
"You," Sonya growled. She pointed her gun at Kano. Her eyes were filled with anger. The bandaged woman pointed her other gun at the general. "Who is this? Is she one of your ranks?"
"As if I'd ever work for him," the woman said. "I don't want to fight you. I think we're working towards the same goal."
"I don't think you want him thrown behind bars," Sonya said.
"You think jail is going to handle this monster?" the woman shouted. "After all of the crap, he's done and got away with? All of the innocent people he murdered? All of the people he's tortured? One of those people being your own daughter!"
"Death is too merciful for him," Sonya said. "I'd rather see him rot in jail."
"You're unbelievable," the woman muttered. One of the Special Force's officers tacked Kano to the ground. Sonya walked over to the man.
"Allow me," Sonya said. She walked over to the male on the ground. She gave him a dark smirk. She lifted her foot and slammed it right between his thighs. "That's Cassie."
Sonya turned around and saw the woman was missing. She had a bunch of questions for her, but now she was nowhere to be found. Something about her eyes felt awfully familiar to the general.
