=TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES 2003=
=THINGS CHANGE. PART 4=

Back on the roof of the loading dock, Leo's situation turned from bad to worse. The two first ninjas had managed to seize him by his arms and kept him still as they were joined by six ninjas more. The ninjas attempted to pin the turtle in blue down with a sheer numbers and were about to succeed despite Leo's continuous resistance.

Nearby, almost next to the armored truck, Louie and Mary were backed shell against shell by the ring of dozen ninjas. Louie was trying to keep them at bay by spinning one of his Manriki-Gusari's chain wildly above of his and his sister's head while swinging its weight at the ninjas, giving them no chance to approach them, while Mary slashed her Naginata's blade at the enemy ninjas to keep them away from her brother's back.

However, the shadows of six ninjas flying over their heads caught their attentions and the turtles in black and turquoise followed them with their eyes to the roof of of the dock, where they saw their big brother in blue in trouble.

"Hang on, Leo! We're coming." Mary called as she struck her Naginata's blade to the ground and pole vaulted herself out of the circle and over the armored truck.

Louie then turned swiftly around, pulling his chain weapon's weight with him and swung it at one of the ninjas on his left, hitting him in the stomach. The ninja groaned and bent over from pain, allowing the turtle in black to hop onto his back and then jump onto the next ninja's shoulder before he jumped on top of the armored truck.

However, instead of going straight to the dock's roof to their brother's aid, Mary headed towards the support beams, the one that was located right beneath of the spot where Leo and the ninjas were.

Swiftly and smoothly, Mary sliced with her Naginata the beam from beneath of the roof and then from above of its basement before Louie, now holding both his Manriki-Gusaris and spinning them wildly in his hands, swung his weapons' weights towards the beam and wrapped the chains around of it from two spots. Louie then pulled his chains back with force that was enough to remove the beam off its place, which caused the edge part of the roof to bend down under the combined weights of nine people on it, until it eventually gave in and broke off. Five ninjas fell off from the roof because of this, leaving Leo to deal with three remaining ones.

The remaining ninjas attempted to pin him against the wall but Leo managed to get his arms free and swung his right hand's Katana towards the ninjas, making them to move back a bit before they attempted to pin him against the wall again. However, this was enough to give Leo enough of room for the counter-attack. Leo then swung his left hand's Katana towards the ninjas almost without caring if his sword's blade would seriously harm the ninjas, knocking them all off roof.

Once Leo was free, the ninja turtles regrouped next to the armored truck, winded and slightly battered but still on their feet.

However, the ninjas didn't show any sign of exhaustion at all but also regrouped and prepared for the another round.

"Gotta...(huff!) Gotta admit. These guys really...(huff!) Really...(huff!) Really know their...(huff!) Their stuff!" Arcee stated while panting heavily

"Just how many these goons do we have to bang before they get the hint?!" Raph asked, getting pretty frustrated by the fact that these ninjas didn't go down easily as he had initially thought.

"Yeah! No matter how we try, they just keep coming and coming!" Mikey moped.

Dom then turned to Leo. "Leo? Do you have any ideas? We can't keep going on this the whole night."

Leo nodded instantly than what Dom had expected.

"Time to switch the plan B!" Leo declared before turning to Donnie, who was working with the truck's wires. "Donatello?"

"Almost there, Leo!" Donnie replied as he was about to test the "Hot-Wire" technique again. The brainy turtle connected the pair of wires together. They sparked and, much to his delight, the truck's engine started.

Donnie then sat in the driver's seat, closing the door.

"Everybody onboard! This buss is leaving ANYWHERE BUT HERE!" Donnie informed jokingly to his siblings.

Dom, Mikey, Arcee and Mary immediately put their weapons away and retreated into the backside of the van, truck Raph and Louie held their ground against the bunch of approaching ninjas.

"Bring it on, pajama-boys!" Louie dared with the smirk.

However, Leo rather forcefully pulled his brothers out from the fight. "Come on! We're leaving!"

Leo, Raph and Louie then hurried to the backside of the vehicle and threw themselves onboard just as Donnie hit the gas and the truck sprinted with the daredevil style through of the ninjas - nearly ramming them down hadn't they moved out of the way in nick of time - and out from the alley on the road.

"HEY! CAREFUL, DONNIE!" Dom snapped as he tried to keep his balance while attempting to pull the truck's back doors shut in case the ninjas attempted to throw more throwing stars or shoot more arrows at them.

Donnie's driving skills weren't quite impressive, as he drove too fast and thus constantly kept making the sharp and rather daredevil turns and smashed the truck's sides more than just one time against the buildings walls, some lampposts and the sides of the other cars, damaging them. And on the way, the truck also knocked over several trash boxes and garbage cans, spreading the garbage to everywhere.

And no wonder because this was actually the turtle in purple's very first time in the wheel of the real car.

"WHOAAAA! Nice driving Donnie, for the turtle without license." Mikey commented sarcastically as he and his brothers and sisters tried to maintain their balance on the seats in the backside, until he was knocked off from the seat when Donnie drove over a bump.

"Hey, you wanna pretty driving or you wanna effective driving?" Donnie asked.

Mary, who was sitting in the passenger's seat next to Donnie, began to scream at Donnie hysterically.

"WHOA, WHOA, WHOA, WHOA, WHOA! DONNIE, LOOK OUT!" Mary screamed.

Donnie turned back on the road and noticed that they were driving out of the road and straight towards the alleyway entrance's wall. However, Donnie made the sharp turn to the left and narrowly avoided from ramming the vehicle's front into the wall, though he managed to knock over the several garbage cans as he drove the truck back on the road.

"Eyes on the road, Donnie!" Mary yelled angrily, which was mixed with the frantic panic.

"Anyone who votes for a driving school for our first time driver, if we're going to let him behind the wheel of the car ever again, raise your hands?" Arcee suggested, raising her hand up, followed by Dom, Mikey, Raph and Louie... even Leo and Mary did raise their hands up.

"Smartasses." Donnie muttered, annoyed.

"What if you just keep your eyes on the road and focus on driving... and trying not to do any foolhardy stuff, okay?!" Mary suggested in annoyance.

"I'm trying! I'm trying!" Donnie shot back.

Dom shook his head in disbelief. "We can thank our turtle luck if the cops don't notice and stop us for this bold driving style... And not to mention about speeding."

After driving through several blocks, and after going through several sharp turns and bumps into the parked cars and narrowly evaded close calls, Mikey opened his mouth to voice his own thoughts about everything they've experienced today.

"I gotta tell you, guys, this has been one mondo-bizarreio day. First all those metal robot-cockroaches underground. That was weird in its own way. Then that face-off with those Purple Dragon-dudes... which of course wasn't a big deal. And what about then those ninjas?"

The group went all dead silent. Mikey had just asked a very good question what all of them had started to wonder in their minds.

"Isn't it weird, guys? Ninjas in New York city, beside us? It... it's just not right." Mikey complained.

"You took the words out of my mouth, bro. It really is weird that there's another group of ninjas in this city than just us." Arcee admitted as she lifted her hand over her chin while thinking over and over of their recent encounter with those weird ninjas.

"You're telling me. I'm kinda feeling uncomfortable of sharing our turf with those ninjas... whoever those guys are." Louie said, sounding like a territorial guy who didn't like the trespassers.

"I think Mikey and Arcee weren't talking about sharing the turfs with other group of ninjas, Louie." Leo told his brother in calming yet a serious manner.

However, before anybody could say anything more, Donnie made another sharp turn to the left that caused Mikey to lose his balance and fall on his knees to the floor.

Meanwhile, Raph was observing one of the bags the Dragons has left behind.

"And speaking of 'no right'. Check this out." Raph said as he opened the bag and turned it upside down, emptying its contents to the floor in front of Mikey.

Everybody was in awe when the contents of the bag was revealed to be wads of cash worth of thousands of dollars.

However, Mikey and Louie went immediately in 'Finders Keepers' mood after seeing so much money in front of them, both of them grabbing a couple wads in their arms and began to celebrate, waving their hands in the air.

"WOO! NOW WE HIT THE JACKPOT!" Louie let out excitedly.

"SHOW ME SOME MONEY, BABY, WOO-HOO!" Mikey cheered happily.

"WHOA, WHOA, WHOA, WHOA, WHOA, WHOA! Hold it right there, bros!" Dom immediately protested. "This definitely isn't 'Finders Keepers'!"

Leo then stood up and grabbed the wads off from Mikey's and Louie's grasps.

"Dom's right, you two. Besides, all this money is ill-gotten, so it's not ours to keep." Leo said to his apparently disappointed baby brothers.

Mary then voiced her idea as she pointed with her finger on the road.

"There's the police car in the side of the road. Maybe we should drop the money to them." the turtle in turquoise suggested. "Donnie. Pull over next to them."

Dom was - again - immediately against the whole idea. "Bad idea, Mary! REALLY BAD IDEA! Especially with the cops! Besides, have we not revealed ourselves to the outside world already enough for one night?" the turtle in white questioned.

"Shell-for-brains! This isn't a personal handing over. We just quickly drop the stuff to the authorities and leave." Mary shot back. "Just give me those bags, will ya?"

Raph and Louie immediately re-filled the emptied bag with the money before giving all the bags into Mary arms, as Donnie pulled over next to the police car.

The officers in the car, one with the gray hair and glasses, who was apparently more seasoned cop than his younger-looking partner with the curly brown hair and small mustache, looked to be rather surprised of seeing a large armored car pulling over next to them, so Mary had to do this quickly without revealing her faces to them.

"Hey! Officers?" Mary called as he pulled one back out of the window, holding it up in front of her faces to keep them out of the sight. "If you have already been notified of recently stolen money, then here you go! Make sure these are delivered back to their rightful owners, will ya?" Mary asked as she, Arcee, Leo and Dom tossed the money backs out and onto the police car's hood, much to the younger officer's surprise and confusion, while the seasoned officer was like it was a daily routine.

"Alright, Donnie! Hit it!" Mary ordered and the van took off, leaving the money and the officers behind, with the younger officer still confused of what had just happened.

###

After some time of daredevil driving, the turtles finally arrived to their original destination: The old drainage junction.

They drove into the alleyway where was a big gate at the end which led down to the sewers. The armored truck unceremoniously drove right through of the gates, knocking them down and continued its way through the tunnel, where it kept bumping into the walls on its way.

And when they finally arrived, they found there a very relieving and delightful sight. Master Splinter was sitting in the meditating position on the ground waiting for them, surrounded by some breached holes in the ground and remains of the five robots similar to the ones that had earlier trashed their old lair.

Donatello immediately stopped the truck and turned the engine off, before all eight turtles hurriedly climbed out of the vehicle and rushed to their master's side, cheering at seeing him alright with their very own eyes and greeting him from all sides.

"Hey! Look who's here!" Mikey cheered excitedly.

"Master Splinter!" Mary cheered in delight.

"Father!" Arcee cheered, tears of joy in her eyes.

"Alright!" Raph cheered with the wide smile on his lips.

"Sensei! You're alright?" Leo asked in delight but also a bit worried for Master Splinter's condition after seeing the Mousers around of him.

"You okay?" Donnie asked as well.

"It's so good to see you!" Dom stated.

"Shell-yeah!" Louie shouted with arms up.

"Yes, I'm glad to see you too, my children." Splinter said with the happy voice.

"I can see, Sensei, that you too have had a quite adventure." Mary said, referring at the remains of the robot-cockroaches in the ground, earning from Splinter a questioning glance at her direction.

Leo couldn't wait to tell Splinter about their own side-adventure while heading here. "Master Splinter, so much has happened today."

Master Splinter nodded to Leo. "Yes, yes. Whatever happened on your way to here, there will be the time to tell me about it later, Leonardo. But first, I wish to take you all home." Splinter said as he started to walk towards the largest hole in the ground.

The turtles were immediately dumbfounded and confused after hearing their Sensei mentioning "home".

"Home?" Mikey questioned.

"Uh, Sensei... no offense, but did you got a pretty hard hit to your head during the cave in." Louie asked nervously, only to be elbowed into the guts by Arcee, making the turtle in black to let out a pained grunt from impact.

"We do not have a home, Sensei." Arcee remarked sadly.

"Yeah. These robots trashed out place. Remember, Sensei?" Raph said as he crouched down next the dead robot's head.

"Do not worry, my son. While you were gone, I think I've found a solution to our current housing problem." Splinter said, as he pointed with his staff at the largest hole. "And the solution is down there waiting for you to see. Follow me, my children."

Splinter jumped into the hole before anyone could ask anymore, leaving the turtles even more confused.

A bit hesitant but still eager to see what their master had found, one by one the turtles followed their Sensei.

Leo went in first, flipping first onto his hand upside down before he flipped over and into the hole.

Louie then charged towards the hole by his turn. And as he was almost at the edge of the hole, he jumped up into the air like the diver from the springboard. Curling up into a ball, the turtle in black flipped a couple times over in the air until he uncurled himself and dived upside down into the hole.

Donnie followed him in right after, simply diving down into the hole like he was diving into the swimming pool.

Mary and Arcee then moved together to the edge of the hole. The sisters then took a hold from each others' hands, implying that they were going in together. After giving each other a confident and encouraging smile and nods, the turtle sisters jumped together into the hole.

Dom simply followed them by grabbing from the edge of the hole with both hands before hopping into the hole. The turtle in white's style was greatly reminiscent of jumping over a wooden fence with one hand.

By his turn, Mikey then walked to the edge of the hole. "Here goes or nothing. COWABUNG- OUCH!" However, the turtle in orange was immediately cut off when Raph came from behind and deliberately pushed him right into the hole, leaving only the turtle in red behind. Raph walked to the edge and chuckled to himself as he watched his younger brother disappearing into the hole.

"NOT FUNNY, RAPH!" Mikey's annoyed voice shouted to him from the hole.

"Oh, yes it is, Mikey. Consider it as a payback for the earlier." Raph replied, before he followed the others into the hole.

The free fall along the upright tunnel that led deeper into underground was long, until it slowly began to curve forward, forcing the turtles to continue the fall by sliding along the tunnel by their shells. The turtles eventually made it to another arch-shaped tunnel leading on two directions. However, the landing wasn't quite pleased one, because when Leo skidded to stop in the end of the slide, Louie slid right into him and flipped onto his brother, followed by Donnie who flipped onto Louie's. Then, Mary and Arcee crashed into their three brothers, followed by Dom, Mikey and lastly Raph.

"Wicked slide!" Mikey declared as the turtles got up on their feet.

"Especially with the shell!" Louie agreed.

Master Splinter, who had reached down here before children and was waiting for them to come, turned around and then started to walk towards the large doorway in one end of the tunnel.

Mikey and Arcee hurried to Splinter's side as he kept walking.

"Uh, Sensei? Is this tunnel what you wanted to show us? And I was expecting something way better." Arcee said, considering the tunnel where they were to be what Master Splinter had said to be their new home he'd discovered.

"Yeah. No offense, master Splinter... but this place doesn't seem so great." Mikey admitted after observing the tunnel with his eyes.

"Look with your hearts, Michelangelo and Artemisia, and not with your eyes." Splinter advised, leaving his youngest son and daughter confused by his words, before he gestured them to follow him further into the tunnel. "And walk this way."

Mikey nodded, but instantly started to imitate Master Splinter by hunching over, leaning on an invisible staff and tip-toed slowly forward, only to be elbowed to the side by Arcee at the same time as Donnie pulled out his Bo and hit Mikey with it on top of his head to make him quit it.

The turtles then followed Splinter to the end of the tunnel, which opened into a large and more spacious cave.

And after the turtles got a full view of their Sensei's discovery he claimed as their new home, the sight of it left the speechless turtles to stare at it with the slack jaws and their eyes wide open in awe.

"Wow!" They all gasped.

The cavern had from to smooth engraved stone build construct that resembled strongly like the hall from the castle in the medieval times. It was round-shaped, high and very spacious. It had from the blue stone plates or bricks made inner circle that was circled by a chest-length outer ring. The place also had the upstairs-like upper level with the ring-shaped and from the blue stone made causeway, which along with the cavern's dome-shaped ceiling was supported with the ring of eight-ten stone columns. There was also the several rooms with hexagon-shaped doorways to the various rooms all around of the cavern and yet large 8-shaped hole in middle of the the floor. The place was somewhat in ruins, but it was still in the condition that it could be rehabilitated into a comfortable and habitable place again.

"Wow! This is beyond awesome!" Mikey declared excitedly.

"It's beautiful!" Arcee said in awe.

"Larger and more comfortable space than what was in our old place!" Louie admitted.

"And the air smells even better." Arcee added after taking a deep breath in.

"I could really tune this space up." Donnie stated, already imagining everything he could do to this place.

The turtles then entered into the cave and started to ran all around like the excited little children while exploring their new place.

"This place... This place is incredible! Isn't it, guys?! There's so much space in here that we can do whatever we want!" Arcee happily declared, standing in middle of the cavern's floor while filling her eyes and soul with it's beauty.

"Told you, Arcee." Mary said with the happy smile, as she walked next to her sister and wrapped one arm around of her, pulling the turtle in pink into a happy side-hug. "I told you that we're gonna find a perfect new place to live. Though I gotta admit that I never expected anything like this nor that we're gonna find a livable place so soon."

"Well, Splinter found it first, remember?" Arcee reminded her sister with the smile.

Meanwhile, Mikey climbed along one of the columns to explore what secrets the upper level of the cave was hiding. Once up there, the first thing the turtle in orange found was one empty room. After making his first discovery, Mikey turned to the others in the 'downstairs'.

"Oh, hey guys! Just for you to know! This room here is mine." Mikey declared before jumping down and rushing in front of the next room's doorway where Donnie was already standing. "And where I'm standing, it's also mine!" Mikey declared, pointing at himself with his thumb, much to his brainy brother's annoyance.

Splinter watched at his sons and daughters exploring the place with the pleased smile.

"You see, my children? The chance is good." Splinter said as Leo and Mary came to his side.

"With this a new cozy space..." Mary started before Leo continued for her.

"...I think that we couldn't agree more, Master Splinter." Leo declared.

"Good. So let's see you kids start to clean up for a chance. This chamber is filthy and needs a spring-clean so that we can make it fit for living."

The turtles groaned in unison after hearing this.

"Aw, c'mon, Sensei. We have had a hard day already and I'm beat. Why can't the girls do the cleaning job? They're good at it like Cinderella herself." Louie questioned, pointing with his thump at Mary and Arcee.

Hearing that, both turtle girls shot a hard glares as their black-masked brother.

"What do you take us for?! Housekeepers?!" Arcee questioned with the annoyed voice.

However, before Louie had a chance to say anything further, Mary moved lightning fast behind of her younger brother and grabbed from his left arm, maneuvering it behind of his shell-back and twisted it painfully upwards, making Louie to gasp and then whine from pain.

"OWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOW!"

"Like I haven't already told you, Louie: This ain't Cinderella-story and there's no way me and Arcee are gonna do the whole job alone! Every mutant ninja turtle in present is authorized to lend a helping hand, and that includes you too. Clear?!" Mary asked sternly, moving her head next to Louie's to literally yell that last one loudly into his ear.

"OKAYOKAYOKAYOKAYOKAYOKAY! CLEARCLEARCLEARCLEARCLEARCLEAR! LEMMEGOLEMMEGOLEMMEGOLEMMEGO!" Louie pleaded, prompting satisfied Mary to let go of his brother's arm. Louie instantly took a several steps away from his rough-handed big sister and rubbed his sore arm with his good one-

"Yeesh! She nearly dislocated my arm!" Louie muttered under of his breath.

"Serves you right, bro. Who told you to take that Cinderella-stuff as a subject in the first place?" Dom laughed smugly, earning a glare from his brother.

###

In the other part of the city, there was the large blue skyscraper that towered over all the other buildings of New York city. The tower had on its sides the same trident-shaped symbol what the ninjas wore in their suits and on top of it was strongly Japanese style palace with the blood-red roof and in front of which was Japanese style garden.

Inside the palace's blood-red Japanese throne room, which was illuminated by the several Japanese torch lights, there was late 60-years old man with a clean dark blue hair sitting behind of the Japanese wooden table. The man was wearing the white Japanese martial arts robe, over which he was wearing the gray vest, which had on the shoulders two trident-shaped ninja symbols in middle of the rings.

The man poured some hot tea into the cub, before he picked up the cub and drunk some of the tea in private silence.

Then, the doors in the other side of the room, which had the same symbol as the man's clothing did, were opened and several figures stepped through them into the throne room.

Five of them were ninjas, two of them similar to the ones the turtles had battled tonight, but the one in the lead was slightly different from the rest. This one had a thin build and characteristic features of a female, hinting that the ninja was woman. Her suit also differed slightly from the other ninjas' suits, as it had V-neckline with the collar but no sleeves, leaving her arms and neck uncovered, though the ninja still had her whole head covered with the black yellow-eyed ninja mask. She still had her arms wrapped with the black bandages and wore the wrist guards and she also wore an armored vest on top of her black suit. And like the other ninjas, she too had the same ninja symbol on her chest, but it was the color of gold instead of the blood red, possibly hinting that this new ninja was a high-ranked lieutenant. She also had X-shaped scabbards tied in her back, in which she was carrying two long Katanas with blood-red-toned two-handed handles, which were wrapped with the black bindings. with two long black straps, in which was branded the line of the red ninja symbols on both side, hanging from the tips of the Katanas handles. She also had two two smaller scabbards tied on the sides of her waist, in which she was keeping the pair of Tanto-swords.(1)

As she walked towards the man in the other side of the room, four of her subordinates were escorting John, the same blue-haired Purple Dragon leader from the alley, and his men: Redhead, Blue-haired thug, Shortie, Fatso(Two Ton), Disco-haired thug, Cap-head, Green-shirt thug, Blue-face and orange-haired Spiky-head thug, in middle of them. The Purple Dragons, especially John, looked extremely nervous and even afraid as they approached the man that was patiently waiting for them.

"Master." The female ninja addressed, as she, her subordinates and John halted in front of the man's table. The ninjas bowed deep down in respect while John nervously bowed his head down.

"Lieutenant. Report." The man demanded with deep and slightly throaty voice.

The female lieutenant and her subordinates then got upright, with the female ninja stepping forward. "Me and my patrol unit just returned from the patrol, and we brought back this underworlder scum with us. Their leader has something to tell you about tonight's funding-collection mission." The lieutenant said as she referred at John with the cold glare.

Listening his lieutenant's report, the man then nodded to her before he gestured two of her subordinates to bring John onto his knees before him. The ninjas obeyed and seized the thug leader by his arms. They brought John forward and then roughly pinning him down on his knees. The ninjas then let go of John as their master waved his hand, silently dismissing his lieutenant's subordinates and ordering them out. The ninjas bowed to him again before they left the throne room. Only the man's lieutenant remained still, having received no order to leave, but side-stepped so that her master could turn his attention to the John, whose uneasiness only increased now that he was face-to-face with the man.

"Well?" Man questioned, allowing John to speak.

The thug leader gulped, but managed to gather some courage to open his mouth to speak.

"Sir, I...I, uh..." John stuttered. "My men... we... we lost the armored car with the money, bu...but, we came under attack! By some sort of... karate frog creatures or something."

The stoic look on the man's face hardened into a fierce glare, not believing the word of some "karate frog creatures" John just mentioned.

"I entrusted you and your men to get us the funding money, and all I got is you crawling back to me in disgrace!" The man snarled angrily. "Just because you and your "reliable" and "stone-hearted" men were beaten by some punch of hooligans in costumes!"

"My lord, I-I-I-I too thought they were just... just some weirdos in turtle-costumes, but the-the-they, they were more than wh-wh-what we realized." John stuttered. "They... they... they took us by surprise. It... it... it wasn't our fault."

"Enough!" The man snarled, having heard enough.

"Sir, please give me another chance." John pleaded. "I promise, sir, I won't fail you again."

"I know." The man whispered, getting up, with his shadow falling over of now-panicking John. "You won't fail me again, ever."

The man then stretched out his hand towards his lieutenant, who had stood quietly in side. The lieutenant bowed slightly, before he pulled one of her Katanas out and handed it over to her master, who took a firm grip on the handle with both hands and moved the sword to his right side, with it tip pointed to the floor.

John gasped in horror, realizing what was about to happen to him and quickly got back up to hos feet. Holding his hands up defensively, the panicking thug leader backed away from the man, pleading for his life.

"No, sir! Please! Please, don't do this! I'll do anything! ANYTHI-!" John pleaded, but was quickly cut off.

"SHAK!"

A sickening sound of steel cutting flesh was heard when the man dashed towards John and swung the Katana at the thug leader before you could blink your eye. The man then skidded to stop like into the wall, standing still like the statue in front of the startled Dragons with one leg bent under and another stretched out behind. The man held the Katana horizontally above of his head, with the middle part of the shining steel blade was stained with the crimson blood, with the few drops of it dropping to the floor.

The startled Dragons took a step back from the man after he skidded to stop a couple steps away from them. Their eyes widened from the shock when they saw the blood on the blade, before they lifted up their eyes to their leader, who quietly stood still in place, with his face formed into a petrified look of shock.

Then, a round line slowly appeared around of John's initially intact-looking neck, which started to bleed slightly. And then, much to the Dragons horror, John's head slid off from his shoulders and bounced off the ground behind the headless body, as it limply fell to its knees and then fell flat over to the ground.

John's decapitated head rolled along the floor towards his men. Horrified by this cold-blooded murder, the Dragons backed away from the head and the man who had just slayed their leader.(2)

Showing no remorse towards what he had done, the man then stood upright and, staring the Dragons before him with the cold look, he pointed with the sword's tip at John's head that was lying in the middle of a pool of blood on the floor.

"Fail me again like he did, and you'll be joining him in death. One... by... one." The man snarled threateningly.

Giving in to their fear, a shivering and whimpering Dragons wasted no time to turn around and flee from the throne room to escape the man's bloodthirsty wrath. Shouting in panic, the Dragons either pushed past, ran over or shoved each other out of the way in 'every-man-for-themselves" manner to escape faster. Two of them got trampled on by their panicked comrades and were left behind, though these two quickly got up to their feet and limped after their fellow Dragons and out of the room.

Pleased of his cold-blooded act of murder and the sight of fear he had instilled into the Dragons, the man started to chuckle menacingly, until it turned into aloud evil laughter that echoed over the night sky of New York city.

I hope that you guys liked the first four-part chapter of this story.

Next one will be coming soon.

Trivia

(1) That's my first OC character in my story, whose Ninja Outfit is based on Karai's and Large Foot Ninjas' (Who appeared in The Shredder Strikes Back, Part 2) suits.

(2) I kinda felt that I needed to make John's off-screen death as on-screen. And there's gonna be more on-screen deaths in the future chapters.
