The Resistance: Avalon game played online

I have masterfully played the Resistance: Avalon in many ways. It is a group game of five to ten players. I am showing the most common type of games with these five chapters. These games are the foundation for players to improve at the game. It can help players new and old.

5. Chapter 5: Regular Resistance's Victory

The Resistance: Avalon Net Gameplay

I, Mark Briggs known as Meymage, play The Resistance: Avalon online on 6/20/2020 having six players total in the game.

Introduction:

The Resistance: Avalon pits the forces of Good and Evil in a battle to control the future of civilization. Arthur represents the future of Britain, a promise of prosperity and honor, yet among his brave warriors are Mordred's unscrupulous minions. These few evil minions that know each other are hidden except from one of Arthur's servants. Merlin alone knows these agents of evil, he must speak of this only in riddles, because if his true identity is discovered all will be lost.

During the game players set up missions for their team. In this six player game we have two Spies and four Resistance members. The first mission has exactly two players. Missions two and four has exactly three players. Mission three and five has exactly four players. It's a battle of which team completes three missions before the other team.

The fifth mission requires all four Resistance members for it to pass. One Spy in enough for the mission to fail. The Resistance also loses if Merlin is discovered among the Resistance team. The Spies are unaware of any Resistance roles at the start of the game.

Morgana appears as Merlin to Percival. Merlin and Percival are Resistance. The rest are known as regular Resistance members trying to deduce the situations. The spies see their entire team unaware of the other player's role. At this time the game can consist of five to ten players with a variety of roles.

Gameplay:

The game has twenty five total proposals at most. Every fifth proposed team is known as the hammer. The hammer must be approved by majority even if it's a Spy otherwise the Resistance automatically loses the game. All comments are publicly stated. Now we begin the game.

eam Proposal Missions 1.1 - 1.5

1.1: I, as VT aka Regular Resistance see this player pick 1.4, the player called AvalonManu. Only they approve it.

1.2: The next pick belongs to me, Meymage. I offpick 1.3 and 2.1. The players baddummy and Skyler. It is rejected by those not on the mission.

1.3: The next pick belongs to a baddumy. I don't know their role. Baddummy offpicks killer and x.

1.4: AM picks Skyler. It is approved only by them.

1.5: The player called 'x' picks Skyler. The team is approved passing with success.

Team Proposal Missions 2.1-2.5

2.1: To save time Skyler adds AM. All the teams for these proposals go 3:3. It goes to hammer.

2.2: Adds self to mission one.

2.3: Adds self to mission one.

2.4: Adds self to mission one.

2.5: AM adds self to mission one. It fails with one failure. I'm suspicious of the top.

Team Proposal Missions: 3.1-3.5

3.1: X picks all but baddummy and AM. Only I approve of the team.

3.2: Skyler picks all but x and baddummy. Only Skyler and I approve the team.

3.3: Killer picks all but AM and me. It gets approved though fails. I res AM for it.

Team Proposal Missions: 4.1-4.5

4.1: I really suspect the top now. I pick self, baddummy, and AM. We on the team approve it.

4.2: Baddummy repicks. It gets approve by all but Skyler. It succeeds like I felt it should.

Team Proposal Missions: 5.1-5.5

5.1: AM adds killer to 4.3 and rejects it with the top two players. We move on.

5.2: Adds self to 4.3. Only this player approves it. We move on.

5.3: Adds self to 4.3. Only this player approves it. We move on.

5.4: Kiler adds self to 4.3. The four players on the mission approve it. It succeeds leading us to the assassination phase.

Assassination.

I, Meymage, has no idea about Merlin's identity. I am worried since they have killer and myself as suspects. The two spies at the top of x and Skyler debate for about ten minutes. They go through chat and mission records to find a decisive factor. They are having a hard time from good first missions from Resistance except AvalonManu aka AM. My approval of 4.1 is what really get there attention. From my point of view on computer the spies are at the top screen while we Resistance members are at the bottom. They finally decide killer is going to live from worse play. I die from the assassin with no information. I save the Resistance ending my career with pride.

Afterward:

I leave promptly saving this game. Everyone at the table praises me in many ways including the spectators like bb and others. AvalonManu is the only player to correctly guess Merlin. I've been considered for every role as a regular when playing as Resistance. My keen skills keep my team afloat on any side. That's a wrap.
