Bardock is training every fighter he knows to see who will join him in the tournament of power after a while Whis shows up "Hey whis I just remembered an old friend named paragus he and his son Brolly left planet Vageta about five years before the planets destruction can you see if they are still alive" Bardock asks Whis answers "I see I will look for them two more Saiyans could be useful in the upcoming tournament of power" Whis finds the two saiyans Bardock asks Bulma for a ship to find the saiyans Bulma gives him a ship Bardock brings Goku when they arrive Paragus sees Bardock and Goku "Bardock is that you it's been forever and who's the one in orange behind you" Paragus asks Bardock answers "Yes Paragus it's me this is my middle son Kakarot I'm sorry about what happened to you and Brolly it pissed me off to hear that king Vageta would just send a saiyan baby with a high power level away but at least his son prince Vageta is a decent person he has a son now he has even risked his life to protect our new planet Earth but any way we are here we need your help friend there is a tournament the last universe standing we be the only one not eliminated" Paragus replies "Is prince Vegeta really a good person I wish I could help but Brolly is not ready for a fight he can't properly control his anger" "We could use the dragon balls on Earth to give him full control of his power and with the proper training he can even become a super saiyan" Goku says "Well if we can get him in control we will but the super saiyan is just a myth" Paragus replies "It used to be a legend but any saiyan can become a super sayain the secret is anger" Goku says transforming into a super saiyan
one week later
Bardock Jr comes home with a woman named Rose he had been dating her for a while he sees that Bardock is training Brolly he quickly is able to control his anger he no longer has random fits of rage months go by there are only two weeks left before the tournament sadly in this time Paragus passed away his old age finally caught up with him Goku is spending his possible last weeks alive with his family Gine says "Chi-Chi I know you have told me of the story of you and Kakarot before but I want to hear it again if you don't mind" "Not at all I met Goku when he and I were kids I asked him on a date he didn't know what a date was I told him what a date was and how we are supposed to do the most pleasurable thing then he tried to punch me we fought after some years had passed we met again at the world martial arts tournament we got married and had Gohan Goku was a little rough when he played with Gohan but they were both having fun not too long after that we met you guys" Chi-Chi says "All saiyan men are rough with their children it's our way of showing love" Bardock states Gine nods Rose then says "They're also rough in the bedroom" Bardock Jr quickly covers her mouth and says "Honey what is wrong with you this is embarrassing" "She's not wrong you know I mean before the cell games Goku refused to get out of his super saiyan form it wasn't easy dealing with him" Chi-Chi says Goku responds by covering Chi-Chi's mouth and shouting "Why did you bring this up there are kids listening Bardock Jr is right this is embarrassing" Chi-Chi removed Goku's hand and with a smile says "Be thankful I only said that and not every thing about what goes on when we have time alone" Goku slightly blushes and then looks down in embarrassment Bardock just starts laughing and says "You boys are so clueless about your history be proud being rough is in your blood you are saiyans you are strong it's hilarious to see you get embarrassed and nervous besides if you still have a relationship they must like it rough" Gine slaps Bardock in the back of the head "You men are all dumb" Chi-Chi says "Alright who is our team for the tournament are you in Brolly" Goku says Brolly nods Bardock says "Our team is Kakarot Gohan Goten Goku Jr Brolly Raditz Bardock Jr Trunks Vegeta and myself we are the strongest of the warriors on Earth I mean we have super saiyan blue" "Wait even Brolly oh yeah you took him into the time chamber well with Brolly's strength we might be unstoppable" Goku says Bardock nods
the tournament of power
the tournament starts the fighting is intense in under twenty-five minutes most of the universes are eliminated Goku runs into a group of three fighters claiming that love will bring them to victory Goku quickly knocking two of them out of the ring "you are evil and have no love in your heart I will defeat you" the third fighter says Goku responds "You have no idea how I feel I have a family hell my three sons dad and two brothers are in the tournament I love them all hold on I have a picture of my beautiful wife in my pocket" he shows the third fighter the picture of Chi-Chi after a few seconds he takes it back and knocks the fighter out not too long after that only one fighter is left he knocks out every one except Bardock "Alright it's just us left big guy I guess I have to use a transformation I haven't fully mastered" Bardock says powering down and closing his eyes his hair turns white and silver energy surrounds him the last fighter trys to punch Bardock but Bardock dodges every thing "Whis when did this saiyan learn ultra instinct" Beerus asks "It happend when we were training one day I've been helping him master this over the past few months" Whis answers Bardock wins the tournament he uses the prize of the super dragon balls to wish all of the universes back a few days later they are at home at peace for now But Bardock has a vision of the black star dragon balls he warns the Guardian of Earth to hide them in another dimension one with no life where nothing could happen he also tells the Guardian to clear the dragon balls of the evil energy the Guardian does this after Bardock explains his vision of the incoming evil
ten years later
many years have passed every one is happy Bardock and his sons started a farm they are quite successful and make a lot of money Vegeta's son Trunks and Raditz's daughter Raunch end up getting married they have a peaceful life Goku is laying next to Chi-Chi holding her watching the stars "It's a beautiful night out Goku I can't believe it we have a massive and loving family" Chi-Chi says Goku responds "It is beautiful out tonight thank you for the life you have given me to think I went from a dumb kid to grandfather and a protector of Earth it's all thanks to you and your loving heart" "You don't need to thank me you know what let's sleep out here tonight" Chi-Chi says holding Goku a little tighter and closer Goku smiles and replies "Thats a great idea I love you Chi-Chi" Chi-Chi also smiles and kisses Goku saying "I love you too"
