Chapter 5:

"My uncle? Are you sure?"

"Yes. My sister is your mother, Touka."

"Why don't I believe you?"

"Probably because you just met me. I don't know, just an idea."

"Yeah, that makes sense. Ok, now if your really my uncle then what's my moms full name?"

"It's obviously Touka Kirishima."

"That was a trick question, but good. Ok, I believe you now."

"Good."

"What do you want with me though?"

"Well the CCG is hunting you and I'm here to protect you."

"Thanks, but I don't need protection."

"Yes you do, if you don't know how to fully use your kagune."

"Fully use my kagune?"

"Yes. You still have more power you can use."

"Fine, if you can show me how to fully unlock my power then I guess you could stick around."

"That's what I like to here."

Two weeks went by with my uncle trying to teach me how to unlock my kagunes hidden power. I think it's all bullshit but what the fuck, I need something to do.

"You need to use more power! MORE POWER! LIKE THIS! AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

"Ok, you do know that I can't do that right."

"Fine. Come here a sec."

"Ok. What is it? What the fuc.."

He hit me, but now everything is going dark. Am I dying?

I wake up about half an hour later to hearing my uncle.

"So you finally wake up. Good. Now if you don't want to die unlock your kagune!"

"What?"

When he said this he pushed me about 150 ft. back off a cliff.

"AAAAAAAAHHHHH! What to do what to do?! Right he said to unlock my kagune, but how do I do that? Well I should just give it a try. AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!"

As I started screaming my kagune activated and my power boosted up drastically. I was able to focus on my kagune, and when I did it went to my hand and detached from my back.

"What the.. How the hell!?"

I thought that if I can control my kagune from my back, what if I put it into my hand and used it like a grappling hook or something. I had to give it a try.

"NOW, KAGUNE, REACH! AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"

Within that instant my kagune stretched all the way to where my uncle was and it latched on. I pulled myself up and dropped to the ground.

"I guess you found out that your kagune could do that? Well guess what, your the only person who can do that. You can save all other ghouls like that. Just keep training and you'll be able to master that power. Ok?"

"Yeah, I guess?"

"I guess?"

"Look I don't know. I don't know if I want to save all ghouls or just let them die. It's not my job to protect them now is it?"

"No I guess not. It may not be your job, but you should still protect the people that you care about."

"Yeah, you may be right about that, but I can already protect them."

"Yeah sure you can. What happened last time you got into a fight? I asked you a question. WHAT HAPPENED LAST TIME YOU GOT INTO A FIGHT!?"

"I killed them."

"Now what happens when someone wants to avenge those CCG members deaths?"

"They come after me to kill me."

"Exactlly right. They come after you! I don't care about some bullshit sob story, ok. What I care about is making you so strong that you can kill any fucking CCG member and save any ghouls sorry ass! Ok, do you fucking understand me you bitch?!"

"Yes I do."

"Good. Now lets get you back home."

"OK!"

We spent a week walking back to my house. We stopped every now and then for some training. But once we got back we realized that someone was already tracking me.
