Welcome back to the madness! What? Did you think only Weiss was going to get a crack at making these two happen? Oh no, no, no. Where is the fun in that? While I love these two, a slow torture over a low flame quenches my Lancaster need far better than a quick fix.

HiVizJefford – Indeed. She is having a rough go of it. And Weiss wasn't exactly the wing-woman at the dance, so I may agree.

0akarigan0 – I'm glad you enjoyed that. Yes, it's time for Yang to step up as a big sister should… or shouldn't. We'll see.

Dragon lord Syed 101 – Was… was that pun intended?

Astray-Tech – Sun is just being Sun. Though I think he's in time out now. Cardin not even bothering anyone. Poor fella'.

OldGlory – I hope to quench that thirst during this drought!

Guest – It doesn't matter. He done Effed up.

Nain Tarlow – Maybe if he had gotten the chance he would have pulled out the dress for old time's sake. I blame the Faunus.

Tenofprime – I guess we will just have to see.

– Yeah, it's almost seeming that way, huh?

Chapter 5: Sisterly Advice

OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOo

"YanG, stop!" A voice called from inside the dormitory room of team RWBY. Those that had passed by the room were not new to their always being some sort of ruckus or horseplay going on in the room, so the voice of someone pleading for pity was just another Saturday. Those who heard the supposed cry for help merely shrugged it off after a long night of dancing and chasing a monkey Faunus from their gymnasium.

The student's dorm was often the center for much of the buffoonery at night when it came to Team RWBY and the school's management and security would even sometimes be called to handle the loud noises on week and school nights. It wasn't uncommon for Blake to call them herself when she wanted her teammates to shut up so she could sleep.

Little did they know that these cries were sincere. These were the cries of the team's leader as she was at the mercy of her older sister who was enjoying a rather interesting inquisition. One that wasn't going to be ending until answers were given.

Ruby writhed in discomfort on Weiss's bed as another jolt of pain surged through her sore and frail body. After a long night of trying to walk in heels that weren't exactly working for her before they broke and forced her feet to become further swollen and mangled within the footwear, one could imagine the amount of pain the poor girl might be in, especially after practicing for days in them at Weiss's request. The nerves in those feet were indeed sensitive, and they were also the target for a certain someone's interrogation.

Yang wasn't always so evil in Ruby's mind. During her earlier days when they grew up in Patch, Ruby recalled her sister as kind. She always had a mischievous and playful side to her, even going so far as to tease other children and even Ruby herself, but nothing that could resemble such a cruel tormentor.

But the past was just that… the past.

Now she Yang the Horrid. Yang the Ruthless. Yang the… well, mean-y head.

"Reveal all to me, little sister." Yang cooed between her snickering laughter as she placed more pressure on the bottoms of Ruby's feet. "It can all be over."

Ruby winced in pain once more as she felt the tears welling at the corners of her eyes. She struggled against the weight of her sister as she lied there pinned in the lower bunk of the room. Yang wasn't especially heavy, but fighting against her weight as she poked and prodded at her throbbing feet could certainly zap and remaining energy or will power she had.

Yang was pleased with her handiwork as she smirked down at her sister who was undoubtedly losing this fight. It wasn't like she didn't already know most of what was on her younger sister's mind, but that doesn't mean she was getting off so easy. Nope, not at all. Instead, after Jaune had disappeared into the night, maybe to the point she should see if he had been found yet, she dragged her sister back to the dormitory to begin this persecution. As much as she enjoyed dancing, there were some things that were undoubtedly more interesting. These things included, but were not limited to: Ruby having a possible crush on a certain doofus of a knight.

"Y-Yang, p-p-please!" Ruby begged once more. "It tickles and hurts at the same time!"

Yang stopped her assault on Ruby's feet before staring back at her sister's face in confusion. Ruby breathed deeply as she met her sister's gaze at this time. Yang blinked a few times before offering another devilish smile. It was just something else that filled Ruby with dread.

"Tickles, eh?" Yang smirked.

Ruby trembled as the worried expression grew on her face before she attempted to fight against yang's weight once more. Yang twiddled her fingers in Ruby's face teasingly before moving her hands back towards her feet. Ruby's panic only grew as she slowly watched her close in on her helpless toes as she thrashed violently, attempting to find salvation in such an action.

Unfortunately, she would no such deliverance from the wriggling fingers of doom as Yang returned to her feet for a tickle attack Ruby had feared.

"St-Staaahp!" Ruby wailed in defiance as the nerve-endings were once again attacked, this time more sensitively.

The attack was calculated and precise as she used the tips of her fingers to drag along the entirety of the foot starting at the base and slowly working them up her plantar and her toes. Between Ruby's gasps and laughter that made her lightheaded, she had to wonder if her sister was some sort of professional at tickle torture. It was something she would have to consider asking Blake she supposed. Though that sounded like an awkward conversation to say the least.

"Then talk, Rubes!" Yang commanded, still smirking at the younger girl's distress. "Only you can end this suffering!"

"You sound like some cheesy villain!" Ruby retorted, resisting her captor's orders.

Yang dragged her index fingers along Ruby's feet once more, this time even more agonizingly slow than ever. Ruby gasped once more as she attempted with all her might to pull away, but Yang held her in place as she had.

"I'll be whatever I need to be, little sister~" Yang mocked as she continued, unrelenting her digits from their task.

She knew it was only a matter of time. Ruby was strong. Hell, she was possibly the strongest, bravest, and most loyal member of her team, as well as their entire class. The girl had overcome a lot over their short time in school and showed more promise and leadership skills than many of those before them. That being said… she knew her sister. And she knew that Ruby couldn't take tickling.

"Okay, okay!" Ruby yelled, admitting her defeat.

Yang yielded to her sister, all the while smiling still. Ruby's chest rose and fell rapidly as she perspired from her forehead. It was over, and exhaustion had finally won out. Yang had to hand it to her, she lasted longer than most had.

"I knew you'd see things my way, sis."

OoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOoOo

In Yang's short life, she had heard and told many funny stories. Some that were about friends, or family, or even her enemies. She could recount many different things she had seen and heard that to this day could have her in tears as she was now. This included some things that would make even Blake blush as she read one of her novels. But this… this took the cake.

The blonde attempted to continue listening as Ruby blushed profusely as she relayed what had been going on the last month or so. From her plan to confess, to hiding in bush while Cardin sulked, to telling Weiss, shopping, and failing to confess again.

It was as if Ruby was part of some sad rom-com that had taken a turn for the worst and now Ruby was reeling from it. If she were to say this to Ruby, it would probably come bas as an accurate summation as well… sadly. As much as she wanted to listen fully to her story, the idea of Weiss suggesting she "pop the hip" was just something she couldn't take seriously. She was definitely going to have to ask about where she got such a farfetched notion as that.

Last she had checked, she was still failing to acquire one blue-haired boy from Vacuo as her own boyfriend, so who exactly was she to even try and give out advice in the realm of love and impressing boys? Granted, the guys both of them were apparently interested in weren't exactly… well, smart. They also weren't good at picking hints either. Poor girls.

"And then… you took me hostage." Ruby finished, still rubbing her feet with an embarrassed tone. She gave Yang everything, not holding back a single detail as she didn't want to have her feet condemned to a punishing fate once more.

Yang continued her deep, belly-laughing as Ruby ended her account of her attempted love-life, clinching her chest in her arms. She knew this was going to be a good story, hell, she might even find out she had the whole ordeal misconstrued, but she was NOT ready for this. She definitely had to pay attention more, and she needed to put a camera on Ruby at all times. This was just begging to be advertised for the general public to enjoy for a price. Always for a price.

Ruby remained silent as Yang tried to regain some form of composure. Eventually the dull roar of laughter turned into snickering whimpers as the blonde lay sprawled out on the floor, panting as Ruby once had during the assault on her feet. They had both had the energy drained from them. One more pleasant than the other, but that's neither here nor there.

The redhead sighed as she face-palmed. This night was nothing but a disaster, and that was an understatement. She was supposed to impress Jaune with her elegance, beauty, and hip-popping, but instead she was being grilled by the master of torture she called a sister as she had to re-live her failures. Life was cruel. Oh, so very cruel.

She was disturbed from her negativity as her sister cleared her throat from the floor. Ruby watched as she sat up from the floor, snickering slight still from her story. She squinted her eyes at the older girl as she continued to mock her efforts. She knew Yang didn't mean any true harm and chalked it up to her "being her normal self", but this failure cut a little deeper than some of Ruby's older missteps. She had no true romantic experience. She had little worldly experience with anything other than being a Huntress-in-training. Hell, she barely had friends. How was she to know what to do when she liked a boy?

She pouted slightly at the thought. Maybe it was Jaune's fault? Yeah! Maybe if he hadn't been so determined to steal her heart with courteousness and likability… and his smile... and how cute he was when he panicked and screamed, or how he stepped up to defend his team, or how cute he was when he stuffed his face at breakfast, or his goofy attire… and how cute he was…

Ruby's mind trailed off onto thoughts of the blonde as she blamed him, going down the rabbit hole of mushiness as Yang finally found herself able to address the situation. She watched as her sister reddened at what she could only imagine to be a combination of embarrassment (that she pushed onto her), and other possible thoughts of Jaune.

As much as Yang would have loved to torment her further, she felt a sense of guilt— Is this what guilt felt like? Anyway, she felt as though she had a responsibility in regards to the matter. Call it the duty of a big sister, but the idea of being the one to help Ruby succeed in obtaining the affection of one dorky knight gave her a feeling of purpose.

She glanced at her sister once more, admiring her cuteness as she had since they were children, only now, she was seeing her as a young adult. Ruby had grown in many ways, but nothing more noticeable than physically. As much as it pained her to say, Ruby wasn't that tiny girl that followed her around anymore, even though she acted like it at times. She was a leader, and she had goals now. One of those goals just happened to be love.

That settled it. She was going to support Ruby on her conquest of luuuuurve. After all, who better than Yang Xiao-Long to assist with this? Weiss might not have been the answer, but surely she was. Not to mention, she could tease both of them endlessly without relent.

Yeah, maybe that was the true goal here? No—It definitely was.

Yang stood up and approached her younger sister, an action took notice of as she narrowed her eyes at her; readying herself slightly for another possible ambush. Yang shook her head disapprovingly while waving her arms as Ruby relaxed in her stance with a perplexed stare. Yang seated herself next to Ruby on the edge of the bed, shoulder to shoulder. Without much warning, she slowly leaned in, resting her head on her shoulder before wrapping her arms around her gently.

To say Ruby was confused was an understatement, but she returned the gesture none the less.

"So first you give me the third degree and now we're back to being sisters?" She questioned dubiously.

Yang chuckled at the comment as she released the hug, rustling Ruby's hair thereafter, earning her a continued stare. "Hey, my little sister's love life is a big deal to me." She replied. "Call me curious, I guess."

"I'd rather call you a brat."

Yang shrugged the comment off as nothing before standing up again, looking over her shoulder at the younger of the two.

"Call me whatever you want. But maybe you want to reserve that judgment for after we nab you a tall, blonde, still missing knight."

"So he is still missing?" Ruby inquired. "Hopefully someone find him s— wait, what?"

"You heard me." Yang answered while sitting on Blake's bunk across from Ruby. "I am going to help you with your little love drama."

"Please don't call it that."

"Whatever you want to call it then! I am going to offer you my sisterly advice."

Ruby pondered the offer the blonde dangled in front of her. On one hand, Yang had experience with both men and women in the past. She had even brought home a boy or two back when they lived with their father back in Patch, much to the older man's irritation. Of course, now she had moved on to greater things, AKA her own partner.

That all being said, there was the other hand. The one that would see Yang possibly trying to intentionally impede her progress just to get a satisfactory laugh. It wasn't above her, that's for sure. That was something she wasn't about to risk, not after all this. Taking a step back wasn't something she could afford.

Ruby sighed in reluctance. "Thanks Yang," She began. "but no thanks."

Now it was Yang's turn to look confused as she watched her sister move to a more serious tone.

"I appreciate the offer, but I don't want this to be a part of another scheme of yours to have another laugh." Yang noticed Ruby's gaze look towards the window, avoiding meeting her own. "I know it's your way of teasing, but this is important to me."

Yep, there's that guilt feeling again, stabbing Yang repeatedly in the stomach as she watched her younger sister pull her knees in towards her chest. Did she really think that she would set her up like that for a fall?

"Ruby, I—"

"this whole night has been a disaster." Ruby spoke, cutting Yang off. "I don't know if I'm doing things wrong, or if I'm not pretty enough, or…" Ruby stopped momentarily, rubbing her eyes slightly as Yang felt the stabbing dig a little deeper- "maybe he's not interested in me at all." Before feeling it twist within her.

Yang launched herself at her sister as she finished her remarks, cradling her within her arms in an instant. "I'm sorry." Yang murmured to her as she squeezed her tight. Ruby relaxed in her warm embrace, relenting to her sister. "I would never sabotage you like that, Ruby. Not ever! I tease you, but I would never try and hurt you emotionally. Do you understand?"

Ruby sniffled as she returned the hug, slipping her legs down so they could comfortably squeeze each other.

"I know, Yang." Ruby replied. "I'm just having a rough night. I'm sorry, I didn't mean it."

Yang pulled away to look her puffy-eyed sister in the face, offering her signature warm smile. It was one that Ruby returned herself. "Don't be sorry, but I do want to help you with this."

The blonde clinched her sister's shoulders as she stared at her. Ruby could see from her actions that she was taking this seriously. Well, as seriously as Yang could. Maybe tonight wasn't a total loss after all? Sure, her feet were swollen and Weiss's plan fell through, but maybe Yang being there was just what she needed minus what came in between then and now.

Ruby stood up, remaining in Yang's grasp as she now launched herself at the taller girl and hugged her tight. Yang knew at that moment, she had her sister's confidence, and that stabbing pain was gone. She returned the hug, going so far as to lift her up in the close-fitting cuddle, earning a small giggle from her sister. It was the first true sign of happiness that Ruby had given her, and probably the first moment of relief she had felt since earlier.

"Thanks, Yang."

"No problem, Rubes."

"So how do we—"

Before Ruby could ask her question, the door to their bedroom slammed open as, startling both girls. They looked over to find the ever-elegant Weiss Schnee in the doorway, flanked by Blake. She had a scowl on her face that was unmoved as she trudged into the room, her steps louder as she made her way towards the dormitory restroom.

She spoke no words, but it was obvious something was upsetting her. Ruby made a motion towards the girl that was quickly cut off by Blake, who motioned at her with flailing arms and a shaking head. Ruby caught the girl's inaudible message just in time, and cringed slightly before dropping her arm back to her side.

Blake scooted into the room silently, making her way past both girls towards her bed. She was about to whisper something before the bathroom door flung open and banged against the wall with a loud 'thud', causing the three girls to look over at the white-haired heiress on the far side of the room.

She looked back at them slowly, that same emotion plastered on her face. If Ruby had to guess, it was a look of both anger and disgust, but she could be wrong. Whatever it was, she wanted no part of it.

"If you find that monkey Faunus or his dumb, blue-haired partner…" She paused momentarily, cracking her neck as she avoided using Neptune's name before looking back at them once more. "You bring them to me."

She slammed the door behind her thereafter, leaving all three girls to stare amongst each other. Blake gulped silently to herself before beginning to change out of her attire into her pajamas. Ruby made her way to do the same, attempting to make it into bed before Weiss returned.

Before she could grab her clothes, Yang pulled her back, whispering into her ear, "We will strategize tomorrow…" A comment that Ruby nodded at approvingly.

"Tomorrow it is." Ruby replied, as the bathroom door creaked open and Weiss peeked out at all of them.

"Bed. Now." She spoke sternly.

Needless to say, all were asleep shortly after.
