Friday 19 February
Pelican Town Mines
Early Afternoon

Abigail stood in front of the mine entrance momentarily catching her breath from her jog up the mountain. She wore her usual black tights, black t-shirt and long blue-green sleeveless waistcoat and brown ankle boots. She had as always spent the morning in Cindersap Forest visiting the old tower nestled up on the small western ridge next to the lake. Rasmodius a recluse and rumored self-proclaimed wizard lives there. She has never told Sam or Sebastian the real reason why she visits him...they just assume it's because of her fascination with magic…which was true just not the whole truth. This was a secret she has kept for ten years and now with Sebastian leaving she still could not tell him, even though she knew he suspected something. It had been an unwilling promise she had made and she was bound by it. Abigail took a deep breath and then with a quick look over her shoulders to make sure no one was there…she entered the mines.

Sunshine Farm
Early Afternoon

Joanna wiped her brow with the back of her hand, it was hot and her back was aching. She had spent all morning watering and weeding her parsnips while keeping one eye on her two intruders perched on her cottage's roof. It was past lunch time and her stomach was angrily protesting. Joanna stood up from where she had been on her knees for over an hour. Her hand went instinctively to her right side hip and rubbed it, then went to the small of her back. She really needed to stop…she was pushing herself too much. Joanna looked out over the farm and groaned…there was still so much work to do. But she knew it would most likely take a year to at least get this farm about 50% workable…and she was okay with that. Her therapist had called her decision rash, irresponsible and absolutely the best thing for her. Joanna picked up the basket with all the weeds and walked around to the back of the cottage to discard them into the fire pit she had dug. Then obeying her growling stomach went inside to get something to eat.

Sitting at the kitchen table eating a sandwich she ponders about her maybe she had given Sam yesterday about going to the saloon. There was no doubt she enjoyed his company and she really liked Abigail too. But the thought of entering a busy saloon and feeling obligated to greet and make small talk with community members is a very strong deterrent. However…even though she enjoys the solitary of the farm, she was lonely. She had never spoken to anyone when she had worked in her division for the Western District of the JoJo Corporation but someone had always been there. The cubicles in which the workers were stationed were small and you could hear the person behind you and in front of you. Maybe she should consider getting a dog...or a cat. The farm was certainly big enough for either or even both...the policy for her previous apartment had not allowed pets. Most apartments in Zuzu City did not allow pets...she supposed it was because of the clustered state of the city, big buildings and very small apartments all on top of each other.

The sudden knock on her door startled Joanna and when she saw Sebastian standing in the doorway, she immediately stood up flustered. Sebastian's face and eyes had been covered by his dark fringe most of Friday night but now Joanna could see his whole face and she had not been prepared for how forebodingly attractive he was and the dark clothes he wore was only enhancing his physique. His dark smoky aquamarine eyes held a hint of amusement and his mouth was curling up in the corners into a small smile.
"Hi…" she greeted her voice sounding raspy and she could feel her cheeks get hot.
"Hey…sorry for just showing up like this" he greeted.
"That is okay…come in" Joanna said and she motioned for him to come inside, suddenly aware of how she looked. Dirty and disheveled, her hair falling out of the ponytail she had pinned on top of her head. She ran her hands over her hair trying to tuck in some loose strands behind her ears.

Sebastian moved forward, shoving his hands into his jeans pockets.
"I came to ask you something" he said.
"Oh? " Joanna raised her eyebrows.
"I was wondering if you knew someone I can contact about renting an apartment in Zuzu City..." Sebastian explained, "this agent I have...is not helping."
"You are leaving?" Joanna asked, trying not to sound disappointed...why was she disappointed? It was not like she suddenly liked him...she did not even know him.
"Yes" he nodded firmly.
"Well...I can I suppose give you my agent's number...she is very good and she will really go out of her way to find you exactly what you need...for the price you can afford of course."
Joanna walked over to the entrance of her bedroom, but then turned at the doorway.
"Is this a permanent...or a temporary thing?"
Sebastian was taken aback for a moment but then said "hoping for permanent."
Joanna nodded and disappeared into the bedroom.

Sebastian shifted nervously he had not planned on coming here, but when he had turned left to go down the mountain pass instead of going up to the bathhouse and train station... it was inevitable. The pass only led to one place...Sunshine Farm. He had followed Sam's advice sub-consciously...he had asked last night what he should do, since this agent he had was giving him the run around and Sam had suggested to ask Joanna, since she was from Zuzu City. And after stepping down from the stone steps onto the sand and he found himself on the farm, he figured he might as well ask. He knew he had not exactly been welcoming last Friday night...and she had no reason to help him.

"This might be unconventional..."Joanna said as she came back in holding a small card in her hand. Sebastian looked at her and he saw that she had a thoughtful expression on her face.
"But would you consider renting my apartment?" She asked and she saw him frown.
"I...don't know..." he replied honestly completely bowled by her offer.
"Look you don't have to decide right away, obviously, but it would solve my problem and make it easier for you" Joanna said and she moved forward to stand in front of him.
"It is a one bedroom loft on the 10th floor of an apartment building situated in the western district of Zuzu City. If you are interested, I can show it to you next week...I am going to see my attorney on Wednesday, I was planning on leaving Tuesday afternoon, spend the night at the apartment and then come back on Wednesday afternoon" Joanna was completely breathless, but she continued "But...it is totally up to you, you are more than welcome to come with me...or I can arrange it with Dianne to show you whenever you want."
Joanna smiled and held out the card for Sebastian. He was still frowning as he took the card. He saw written on it two numbers one for the agent Dianne and the other one was hers. He lifted his head to look at her.
"I will think about it" he said not quite sure what else he could say. This offer from Joanna had floored him, it was completely unexpected.
Joanna nodded "okay" and she moved to stand by the kitchen table.

"Are you going to the saloon tonight?" Sebastian asked as he made his way back to the front door. Joanna looked at him thoughtfully, was she?
"I don't know" she shrugged, she still had not really decided if she wanted to brave it tonight.
"Oh..."Sebastian nodded and he frowned again, "well, if you do decide to come...the best time would be just before 5pm if you want to avoid the crowd..." Joanna blinked and then she smiled at his gesture.
"Okay...I will remember that, thank you."
"I am sorry I was rude last Friday night" he apologized and Joanna stared at him in surprise.
"Oh...I...no worries" she managed not really knowing how to respond.
Sebastian nodded and then with a curt "bye" he left. Joanna stared at the empty doorway for a few seconds. That had been...unexpected and it left Joanna feeling uneasy...not in a bad way though. She had not really paid Sebastian much attention last Friday night due to his aloofness other than notice that he had during her conversation with Sam and Abigail watched her...or rather she had felt like she was being studied. But she had ignored it...it was not unusual for her to be in the company of people who were like him. He is going to fit in perfectly in Zuzu City...Her offer to rent her apartment had taken her by surprise too but...it would solve the headache of what she should do with the apartment though. Joanna reached for her phone to check the time...maybe she should go tonight...after all she has worked hard this week...and having fun with some new friends is maybe just what she needs...right?

Mountain Pass

Sebastian made his way back up the mountain pass...it was quite overgrown since it has not really been used much over the last few years. But it was quicker than taking the route through town and then up the mountain path alongside the river. Not that he really was in any rush to get home...he needed to sort out his head and this mix of feelings he was having...he had already been uncomfortably when he had stood at her door... He knew she was pretty that had been obvious when he had met her last Friday night, but the dim lighting in the games room of the saloon had diminished her beauty...no wonder Sam had been weird last night. When he had knocked on the open door he had not really looked until she had stood up...and his heart had almost jumped out of his chest. Her eyes had been wide and strands of her hair had delicately framed her face. He had tried to ignore his sudden sweaty palms and his erratic heartbeat. But it had only gotten worse when she had made her offer...now he was completely flustered...and he had no idea what to do.

He has had the misfortune to actually fall in love once...no, he had thought he was in love...with the most beautiful he had ever seen and the cruelest he would most likely ever know. Sebastian shivered...it's been a long time since he has thought about Eileen...and he would prefer to keep her locked away in the depths of his mind. Relationships with girls...women, have never lasted long and his last one which had been Eileen had dissuaded him permanently from having them...This sudden reaction to Joanna had caught him off guard, Sebastian grimaced it was not like he was actually attracted to her it had just been a moment appreciating her in natural light. His first initial impression of her had been one of disdain and he had for the most part of Friday night ignored her, although he had watched her trying to puzzle out why she would move here. Sebastian stopped walking, why is he thinking about her...it did not matter anyway, nothing was going to deter him from leaving. Sebastian looked at the card...what the hell should he do?

Stardrop Saloon
Early Evening

Joanna stood for a moment with one hand on the saloon's door and took a deep breath. She opened the door peering around it sighing in relief at the empty saloon and quickly went inside. She had taken Sebastian's advice to come earlier. Gus and Emily nodded smiling at her and she waved in greeting before hurriedly making her way to the games room. As she entered her eyes caught Sebastian leaning against the back wall, his hands shoved in his jeans pockets and the hood of his black jacket pulled over his face. This made her groan it was not enough to be just attractive he actually intrigued her now…she rolled her eyes. Why? He was leaving…best to just keep it casual and not get involved on any level. If she knew what was best for her she would just stay away from any kind of relationship that involved anything more than just friendship with anyone. Joanna quietly made her way to the blue sofa and sat down steeling a glance. Even friendship might be potentially disastrous with Sebastian.

Sebastian looked up and he smiled when he saw Joanna on the sofa,.
"Hey" he greeted reaching up with his left hand to swipe the hood off his face. The movements making his sleeve momentarily slide down to reveal a glimpse of a tattoo.
Joanna's eyebrows arched.
"Hi" she greeted looking at his arm and Sebastian suddenly self-conscious quickly pulled down his sleeve and shoved his hands back into his pockets. Joanna sighed...she briefly remembers that she had wondered if he was hiding anything beneath that black jacket and now she was wondering how far the tattoo goes…Joanna blushed and looked away. Dark, brooding, attractive and tattooed... Oh Yoba, what was wrong with her?

Sebastian had seen the color flood her cheeks and he wondered what she was thinking. His eyes drifted over her...she was wearing a pair of blue jeans and a long red pleated shirt with no sleeves that showed off her arms that glowed with a new tan and growing muscles. Her auburn hair was hanging loose over her shoulders. He was almost a head taller than her but he was sure if he takes her in his arms she would fit perfectly. Sebastian closed his eyes and his hand immediately reached for the tin case in his pocket that held his cigarettes...what the hell was he thinking? He has not spared her any thought until today...and now it was like he couldn't get her out of his mind. The rest of the afternoon he had spent in his room trying to decide the best course of action and all he could do was remember the look on her face as he had knocked on her door.
"I will go with you" he said suddenly opening his eyes and she turned to look at him the movement of her head making her hair spark in the lighting, a confused expression on her face, "to see your apartment...if that is still okay?" he quickly added. What was he doing?

"Oh, yes absolutely" and she smiled "as long as you are okay that we will have to spend the night in Zuzu City. My appointment with my attorney is early...so taking the bus out is not going to be feasible."
"Okay, sure" Sebastian nodded and then quickly added "would you mind if we keep this between us?" as he heard Abigail's laughter suddenly fill the saloon.
Joanna nodded "sure" but frowned, surely his friends knew he was leaving…Joanna shook her head she did not want to dwell on whatever reason Sebastian might have to keep this from his friends…it was none of her business anyway.

Abigail and Sam came in together arms hooked in and laughing.
"Hey! You came!" he greeted Joanna his grin widening and he unhooked himself to give Joanna's shoulder a squeeze with one hand then walked over to stand next to Sebastian.
"Hi Sam" Joanna smiled, "Hi Abigail".
"Joanna!" Abigail greeted and she sat down next to Joanna kicking off her boots and then settling in comfortably tucking in her legs underneath her. Joanna saw that Abigail was wearing black tights which seemed to be a favorite but the black t-shirt and waistcoat has been traded in for a long flowing turquoise flower shirt. Abigail's violet hair was pulled back into a high ponytail making her look sixteen and anyone might have been fooled if not for the over dramatic make up. Dark purple eye shadow, black eyeliner, long full eyelashes and pink pouting lips... Abigail was beautiful and Joanna wondered if she was involved with anyone…in fact and she looked at the guys standing to one side in muted conversation…are any of them involved with anyone.

"So Sam mentioned he had visited yesterday" Abigail said and Joanna could feel her eyes on her.
"Yes he did…" Joanna replied and then shifted to face Abigail, "so…I heard you can sing"
A quick look of surprise passed over Abigail's face and then she laughed.
"Have you been to the bathhouse yet?" Abigail asked. There was a bathhouse?
"Uh…no…had no idea there was one…"Joanna admitted.
"You should go, especially after a hard day…good for relaxing the muscles and take away most soreness too"
"Oh?" Why did it sound like Abigail had firsthand experience and Joanna wondered what Abigail actually did.
"What do you do?" she asked bluntly and Joanna could have sworn that it had been a look of guilt that had crossed Abigail's face.
"I…study" Abigail answered reluctantly, but did not divulge anymore.
"You girls up for a game of pool?" Sam suddenly asked before Joanna could inquire what she studied exactly and noted the look of relief on Abigail's face.
Abigail bounced up from the sofa "Sure! Do you play Joanna?"
"No…"Joanna admitted regretfully, all she knew about pool was that you hit balls with a stick…
"Well then I would propose a fair matchup" Sebastian suggested as he moved over to the cue rack, "since Abigail is a good player she can be your partner Sam…and I will partner with Joanna." Sam looked disappointed for a moment but then grinned.
"Cool" he said and went to fetch himself and Abigail a cue each.

Joanna hesitated for a moment then stood up and walked over to where Sebastian was standing holding a cue for her. They were on the left side top of the pool table and Sam and Abigail on the right side. Sam was racking up the balls like a professional and Abigail was inspecting her cue stick.
"Don't worry I will help you" Sebastian whispered in her ear and Joanna shivered at the touch of his breath on her ear and neck. She had not even realized he had moved to stand behind her. She nodded but did not look at him, she could feel him brush against her back for a second and then he moved to stand next to her.
"Shall I break?" Abigail stated rather then asked, bending over the table to position her cue behind the white ball. Sam cheered as Abigail sank one of each of the solid and striped balls giving them first choice. Abigail took her time as she moved around the table checking the positions of all the balls. Joanna was mesmerized as Abigail's movements were slow and deliberate…her one hand with purple painted nails gliding over the side of the table. Her lips played with a small smile that turned into a smirk as she bent over to take another shot "Solids" she announced as she sank another ball. Sam could hardly contain his excitement and Joanna giggled as she saw him do a little jiggle of victory. Abigail missed her next shot opening the table for Sebastian.

Sebastian just like Abigail took his time walking around the table weighing all options. Sebastian took a shot and sank two balls and Sam groaned…loudly and Abigail just rolled her eyes. Joanna cheered clapping her hands almost dropping her cue and she fumbled to keep it against her. Sam laughed and winked at her. Sebastian stood and stared at her for a second before bending to take another shot, there was a small frown etched on his forehead. This time Sam cheered with a mockingly slow clap when Sebastian missed his shot, but Sebastian seemed to not even notice as he came to stand next to Joanna again. He was close but not too close Joanna noted but close enough she could smell the sweet musky scent of either his after shave or deodorant.

Sam had a brief discussion with Abigail before taking his shot and he made an elaborated display of taking his shot, which he missed. Joanna laughed at his over exaggerated reaction of dismay then swallowed nervously…Sam was bad…she might possibly be worse. Sebastian gently touched her elbow and she looked at him. He smiled at her reassuringly as he guided her to the table.
"Do you see that ball close to the yellow solid…the red stripe?" He whispered in her ear and she nodded. He placed his hand on her waist to shift her slightly so that she was in position to place her cue down in front of the white ball. His hand was just above her right hip and if he pressed harder if would feel her scars Joanna thought…
"Gently tap the white ball with a smooth stroke…"he said and Joanna bent to place her cue on the table, awkwardly trying to position it on the fingers of her left hand, her hair falling over her face. She reached up to tuck the strands behind her ear then placed her hand back onto the table. Sebastian's hand was still on her waist and it was causing a sensation that was making her even more nervous. Sebastian leaned down, his hand moving to the small of her back and his left coming down to steady her left arm which was now visibly shaking.
"Okay…gently tap" he whispered, his breath tickling Joanna's cheek. Joanna pulled back her cue and as instructed she gently brought it forward to tap the white ball. Joanna watched as the white ball rolled forward to hit the red stripe knocking the yellow ball away and the red stripe disappeared down the side pocket. Sebastian stood up moving backwards his hand going around her waist again to pull her with him to the side of the table. Joanna could not contain her joy at sinking a ball and she looked up to smile at Sebastian but he was busy looking at the table so she looked over at Sam…and he was beaming at her.

Sam was slightly annoyed at Sebastian's hand on Joanna as he guided her, a twinge of jealousy brimmed underneath his grin but Joanna's smile when she sank her ball was infectious, even Abigail was smiling. He had wanted to hug her when he had seen her as they had come in, but did not want to over step…he had really enjoyed their time together yesterday and he had hoped that she would come tonight. Easy, Sam…there was still Penny...besides you are just getting to know each other and…there was still Penny. Sam frowned he has no idea what to do about Penny. The last few months their relationship has been a bit strained and every time they have been together they were talking less. Penny seemed on edge and instead of talking about it she would get distracted by touching and kissing and ultimately they would end up having sex. Sam cannot remember the last time he and Penny actually had a conversation.

Abigail arched a brow as she saw Sebastian's hand on Joanna's waist…Sebastian did not like to be touched or to touch, but there was no sign of that reservation tonight. This whole situation was very amusing and perplexing. First Sam had acted like a schoolboy last night about his visit…and now Sebastian was being unusually not himself. Joanna sank her second ball which has now given them the lead and she was actually impressed that she was able to follow Sebastian's instructions because his hand on her body was making it very hard to concentrate. She had even lingered slightly longer to take the second shot just to feel the heat of his hand. Her third shot had missed though because Sebastian had removed his hand unexpectedly leaving her cold and achingly missing his touch.

If Joanna had thought this would not be a serious game…she was sorely mistaken. The obvious competiveness between Abigail and Sebastian was intense as the game progressed. The looks, the smirks, the smiles, the eye rolls…Sam and Joanna could barely contain their laughter. Joanna had proven to be an okay player under Sebastian's tutorage and Sam seemed to just get worse as the game continued leaving Abigail to carry them. The game ended with one ball each for both sides left on the table and it was Abigail's turn to shoot. Sam was cringing in the corner in anticipation as Abigail again walked around the table…almost deliberately dragging out her turn.
Abigail placed her cue down on the table and she positioned herself to take her shot, Joanna tried hard to stifle her bubbling giggle in her chest as she watched Sam's face. He was adorable…

The game ended…not in Sam's favor as Abigail missed her shot because Sam could not contain a squeal of excitement, resulting in Abigail actually hitting the ball to bounce off the table. Joanna had clapped her hand over her mouth to stop herself from laughing but her whole body was shaking at Sam's incredible look of indignation as Abigail turned to extract vengeance by poking him in the stomach with her cue stick. Sebastian ignored them as he went ahead to pocket the last ball of their colour and the black ball.

Abigail and Sam conceded to their loss with her still scowling at him and him being overly apologetic. They went off to the bar together leaving Joanna alone with Sebastian.
"You learn quickly" he complimented as he was busy racking up the balls again.
"Thank you, I have a good teacher" she smiled and she saw the faint blush on his cheeks, "Where did you learn to play?"
Sebastian shrugged "I just seem to have a natural talent for it…"
"Impressive…" Joanna moved to stand next to him as bent to break the balls. He straightened up and looked at her for several seconds before he came to stand behind her and again against her left ear he whispered.
"The blue solid ball…top left pocket" with his hand on her back she bent down to position her cue and he slowly slid his hand from her shoulder down her back to rest on her right hip. It was such a slow movement that Joanna was having difficulty breathing. She tried to concentrate and to balance the cue on her hand that was on the table but she was shaking. Sebastian leaned forward brushing against her as he reached with his left hand to steady her arm.
"Steady…" he said and again he was so close Joanna could smell the sweet musky scent…she wanted to turn and bury her face in his neck. Joanna's cheeks flushed hot and she quickly took the shot and scurried away from Sebastian. Oh Yoba…this was not good.

Sebastian bent down to take a shot and tried to concentrate on the ball he was aiming for. He has not been able to help himself from touching her…every opportunity in their game against Abby and Sam he took it when he could. Her skin through her shirt was hot and it has taken everything in him not to sneak his hand underneath…He had felt her tense and shake beneath him just now…her breathing ragged.

The last few weeks had been difficult with Abigail being angry with him and him wanting to tell Sam about his plans…His decision to leave did not just happen, he has been planning this for almost two years…and he has been wanting it for all his life. His failed and disastrous relationship with Eileen had only strengthened his resolve in his decision. He had compartmentalized his feelings for Eileen and had stuffed them into the deepest and darkest part of his brain…He quickly glanced at Joanna she was standing at the other edge of the pool table fidgeting with her cue stick. His heart was beating unnaturally fast…this was not suppose to happen Sebastian frowned.

The rest of the night flew by after Abigail and Sam returned with ciders and a pizza. They gathered around the coffee table, the girls on the sofa and the guys on the floor. The conversation flowed easier with Sebastian also joining in this time. Joanna hardly noticed that the saloon had gotten busier and louder with the music from the old jukebox overflowing into the room. Joanna loved to watch the three friend's interaction with each other as they chatted and shared stories. It was clear that they have a deep and solid friendship. Joanna felt at times like an outsider and she would withdraw, listening and drinking her cider, but then Sam or Abigail would pull her back with little jokes or questions. Joanna envied them…and she had for a brief second wondered what would happen to the dynamic of their friendship once Sebastian leaves. She had looked at him several times during the night only to look away when he would look at her. She was undeniably attracted to him…why couldn't she be attracted to Sam? She liked Sam…Sam was good looking, funny and comfortable to be with. His guitar playing had instantly created a connection but it was nothing like what she was feeling for Sebastian. This was not supposed to happen…

Just before midnight Gus called that it was closing time and Abigail groaned. Sam stood up pulling Abigail with him. Abigail had the most to drink and she was totally wasted.
"I will take her home" he smiled and he shifted the weight of the giddy Abigail against him.
"I love you Sam" she said into his neck and then she lifted her head to look at Joanna and Sebastian.
"I love you guys too" she said and then dropped her head back down onto Sam's shoulder, who was only slightly grunting and Joanna giggled.
"Don't you want any help?" she offered although she knew she herself might not be capable of really giving any valid assistance.
"Nah, gonna take her home with me, she can crash in my room tonight" he winked at Joanna and then with a salute he dragged Abigail out with him.

Joanna and Sebastian walked together following them out of the saloon into the cool night air. Joanna shivered and hugged herself. Sam and Abigail were already more than half way down the path towards Sam's house. Sebastian's hands were shoved into his jeans pockets and he was rubbing the tin can. He was in desperate need of a cigarette the ciders had done nothing to calm his flaring emotions. He saw Joanna shiver and without a thought he removed his jacket.
"Here" he said holding the jacket out for her. Joanna looked at the offered jacket and then her eyes drifted up the hand that was holding it to the extended arm. Even in the dim light of the saloon's porch light Joanna could see the intricate design of Sebastian's tattoo. She lifted her hand but instead of taking the jacket as Sebastian expected her fingers trailed over his arm, following the lines of the design. He stiffened but did not move watching her intently.

Joanna traced the lines of the snake that coiled around his wrist then moving up to stop just beneath his elbow. There was a butterfly encased beneath the body of the snake one wing was broken. The detail of the whole tattoo had Joanna in awe. Sebastian clenched his jaw as the touch of her fingers sent electric shocks up his arm.
"It is beautiful" she breathed and then she took the jacket and quickly pulling it over her head…she had felt her nipples tighten as she had touched him.
"Thank you."
"You are welcome" Sebastian responded dropping his arm back to his side, seeing her in his jacket was doing strange things to his mind, but it was nothing like what Joanna was experiencing. She almost immediately inhaled Sebastian's scent and her stomach was twisting into knots.
"I…I should go home" she said.
"Yes, me too" Sebastian agreed but neither of them moved.

Joanna wasn't sure if she had imagined it or if they had actually moved towards each other…both of them reaching for each other…and then Shane stumbled out of the saloon and almost crashed into them. Joanna watched the very sloshed Shane stumble around them very apologetically. He was drunk…very drunk. Joanna saw that Sebastian had moved away from her and the distance between them increased significantly.
"S…so…sowwy…hic…" Shane mumbled as he found his way down the path he needs to be on and stumbled away from them.
"Is he going to be okay?" Joanna asked concerned.
"Yes" Sebastian nodded, "he always finds his way home" he confirmed. Joanna was not sure as she stared after Shane she wanted to go after him…
"It is getting late…" Sebastian said and Joanna could have sworn she heard a note of annoyance in his tone and she turned to look at him. Why was he annoyed?
"Goodnight Sebastian…and thank you" she smiled motioning to the jacket.
For a moment he hesitated but then he just nodded "Goodnight Joanna" and turned walking away.
Joanna stared after him for a few seconds then turned to head up the town's square and towards the exit that led to her farm.
