A few days before Elena woke up, Damon chose to desiccate himself for the time for which Elena is asleep, and the armory was after Bonnie so Enzo took her to a safe house, after learning Armory's intentions regarding Bonnie Enzo decided that he should help her but soon Alex got suspicious of him so he left Bonnie alone in that house with enough for her to feed herself and of course pills made from Rayna's blood.

The day Enzo left Bonnie alone was the same day Elena woke up and as soon as she did Bonnie died (temporarily), because this is how it was planned by Kai, when one lives the other dies.

After Elena brought Klaus safely home from New Orleans, Klaus was fuming in anger over Vincent that how could he dagger him and leave his child an orphan he was mad, planning and plotting to kill him when suddenly a note popped up in his pocket.

HEY KLAUS

Klaus folds the paper when he sees Elena entering his room in a robe, she walks near him and turns on the stereo, "Are you trying to wake Hope up?" he asks bewildered. She takes his hand in hers and pulls him to stand, she dances with him slow, "Are you out of your mind Elena?" she places a finger on his lips and seductively says, "No talking."

Klaus doesn't say a thing and he just watches he keeps a hand on her waist pulling her closer to him, he dances with her in his room, Elena slowly and seductively moves her hand down his shoulder and keeps it on his heart, she slowly undoes the button on his shirt and presses her soft lips on his bare chest, and he is aroused, oh he so wants to take her right there right now but he can't because he knows she's compelled.

By the time Klaus is out of his thoughts Elena has undone all the buttons on his shirt and she is placing soft kisses from his navel to his chest to his neck, her hands caressing his body so lightly, Klaus moans in ecstasy, Elena's lips have reached his chin and he moves back, "Stop" he says with all his strength, he was seduced and highly aroused, of course he would have enjoyed having sex with her but not when she's compelled for it, he wants to enjoy it when she is in her senses.

Elena looks at him and smirks, Klaus' eyes moves down to her hands, she is slowly undoing the knot in her robe, no, no, no, he thinks, he vamps up to her and holds her hand, "Elena love, why don't you sleep" he says. Elena smiles and says, "Okay" and Klaus is relieved, but Elena walks past him and lays down on his bed and turns on a side looking at him, the turn makes her cleavage even more visible. 'is she testing my patience' Klaus thinks.

He recalls he ordered the hotel staff to fix cameras in the room while both Elena and Hope were asleep, he wanted to see how Elena behaves with his daughter when he is not around, after he killed those were wolves with his blood he had the bodies in the backseat of a cab and compelled the driver to drive to the Hotel ignoring the rest, while on his way back, he looked at the footage through his mobile and found out about Aurora's compulsion.

He is brought back to reality when he feels Elena's soft hands removing his shirt slowly down his arms, it's not that he never got the thought of bedding Elena, it's just that he enjoys having sex when the women are in their senses and not compelled like this. Elena moves her hands seductively on his bare torso, she is standing behind him and her hands ever so gently make patters in his front, her hand move up his chest and she pinches his nipples while she bites her bottom lip.

Klaus holds her wrists and moves her in vampire speed so that now she is standing in front of him, he throws her on the bed and towers above her and she smiles so self-satisfied, it's like she is challenging him in bed and he so loves challenges, he takes a minute to admire her form and then gets on his knees, he unbuckles his belt and Elena grins looking at him, she gives him a flying kiss, "Take your time" she whispers.

Klaus gets down from the bed and removes his jeans and Elena is busy giving flying kisses to him, his hands are on his boxers and his phone buzzes and both Elena and Klaus are annoyed, Elena says, "Take it, I will be waiting right here for you, because if you don't take it, it will keep buzzing and I don't like getting disturbed while in bed" she winks at him. Klaus chuckles he takes his phone and leaves the room.

"Oh Nik, how do you feel after killing the doppelganger" laugh "see I told you soon you will be alone and you'll need me, you're next on my list love, now that the doppelganger is dead, I think the seal to your house is broken, I am walking in your lawn love, after I kill you I will send your daughter into a foster home and when she is eight or nine I will adopt her and make her my maid and see how your soul suffers." Hysterical laugh.

Klaus disconnects, he peeps through the window and sees Aurora taking slow steps towards his house, he wonders how she found this one, but Klaus has just the right object to treat her, Klaus vamps behind Aurora and inserts the Tunde blade inside of her, he orders his hybrids to bring those shackles which bind the supernatural while he deals with Aurora, he walks with immobilized Aurora into his room.

He takes Aurora in the secret room behind his closet and thinks of ways to make her suffer, his hybrids arrive with the shackles and he orders them to arrange some water pipes and add vervain at the mouth of the pipes so that when it falls on her she burns. He ties the shackles carefully on her wrists making sure she cannot escape. The only reason that Aurora entered there without Elena's invite was that the notary was that the notary was out in an island for vacation and the house was still on Klaus' name.

Klaus had no intentions to deal with Aurora but after the disgusting things she said about his daughter he has got nothing but an intense desire to torture her and he thinks the Tunde blade is a good start for her torture by the time he thinks for her next punishment.

He walks out of that hidden room and enters his room to resume his scandalous sex with Elena but when he moves his eyes to her she has already fallen asleep, he wonders if she was still asleep when he brought Aurora here. He takes the ac remote and turns the temperature to lowest, he hops on in the bed next to her, so that her back is towards his chest, he puts a hand on her waist, hugging her from behind.

He hugs her from behind not to comfort her, but to comfort him, because in the last few moments he has realised how alone he is and hugging Elena he cries silently, remembering all that he has lost, his family, his brothers, his sisters, he cannot lose Hope, and he cannot loose himself, he finds comfort in Elena's company and maybe that's why he chose her, his tears drop silently down his face and he too fall to sleep with her.

Later that night Elena wakes up hearing Hope's cry, she recalls what she did just before slept, she shudders and hesitantly looks down and thankfully she is still in her robe, she carefully moves Klaus' hand away from her waist and sits up, she is shaking by what she was about to do with him, she hears Hope cry again and she rushes out of that room. Klaus wakes up after sometime and realises Elena isn't here.

He walks down to his daughter's room, turns out Hope needed another diaper change and Elena has successfully done it, she is putting Hope back on the bed, he watches carefully from distance till she puts Hope to sleep. She walks to the bathroom and Klaus hears her hushed cries, in between she is apologising to Damon for almost sleeping with him, she doesn't know how to face him after this.

Klaus waits for her to walk outside and when she does he vamps towards her and stands right in front of her, she gasps, her heart skips a beat, she doesn't know how to react after what they did in his room, but he shows her one mercy, just one because he found comfort in her, he meets her eyes and says, "Nothing happened between us in my room, you came we talked and you left."

Klaus turns and walks away from her but stops and recalls she has had vervain earlier, he has to know if she is actually compelled or not, he turns and walks to her again, meeting her eyes with his compelling gaze he says, "Elena, undo your robe" she starts to untie the knot and he chuckles saying, "Stop, stop and forget that this happened." He laughs thinking he shouldn't have stopped her but, it is against his rules of charming women, he asked her to do it in the first place because he knew she wouldn't have done it if she weren't compelled.

Klaus is walking out of the room when Elena comes to her senses and realises that she is crying but she couldn't recall why is she crying she tries to recall and says, "Bonnie" Klaus stops at the door and turns, "What love"

Elena turns to him and says, "Klaus if I am alive that means Bonnie is dead, I promised Bonnie that I'd die so that she could live, I can't go back on my promise."

Klaus heaves and says, "Yes, about that linking spell, when I saw you with Hope I learnt that you'll soon be back to becoming the great Elena, the martyr Elena and so I had been in touch with a witch who could undo that spell. Vincent is coming here tomorrow, he knows you two are linked and tomorrow he will break your link so that you both could live, so relax."

Elena is relieved by this she smiles, Klaus walks away again and this time she calls to him, "Klaus" and he turns, "Now what sweetheart" he sees she has walked close to him and is standing next to him, she places a hand on his cheek and kisses the other, Klaus looks at her taken away by that sweet gesture, "Thanks" Elena says and then smiles at him. Klaus smiles back and leaves the room.

Next morning Vincent comes to Klaus' place and breaks the link between Bonnie and Elena using representational magic, Bonnie wakes up in that lonely house and feels the connection lifted, but she knows she cannot come out in the open and tell Damon about Elena and her being unlinked. Elena says, "How do I know Bonnie is fine."

Vincent says, "She sure is, you were linked with her earlier, I can show you where she is" Vincent casts a spell and asks Elena to close her eyes and she can see where Bonnie is now. Vincent asks, "Satisfied?" and Elena smiles and says, "Yes, I am" Vincent leaves later.

PRESENT

Aurora is dead, Elena is broken, Klaus is alone and drinking in his room.
