It turned out that there wasn't a natural body of water in the direction that Yami and Joey were walking so the two of them turned back towards the carriage after a half-hour. By the time they got back, Tea was asleep in the carriage. Yami was glad to be back but when he looked around, he noticed something was off. Everything seemed oddly still and quiet for some reason…almost as if something was amiss. Suddenly, Yami realized something.

"…Where's Yugi?" he said shifting his gaze from the carriage to the woods.

Joey mimicked him and looked around. He shrugged and then proceeded to wake Tea up. While he did so, Yami looked around the carriage and the surrounding area but there was no sign of him.

"Tea, do you know where Yugi went?" Joey asked. There was a sleepy yawn that came from Tea before she answered.

"He's not here?"

"No."

"That's weird, he was here when I fell asleep…"

Yami started to feel nervous. He heard Joey looking around the other side of the carriage as Tea got out but as far as he could tell, they didn't see anything.

"Yugi?!" Yami called out. His voice echoed off the trees and even scared some birds in the distance but there was no answer back. After a minute, Joey and Tea stepped beside him looking out into the woods.

"Do you think he just went out to take a walk?" Tea said uncertainly. Joey shook his head and looked at Yami.

"I doubt that. You don't think that this has anything to do with the Dark Woods or anything, right?"

"I…don't know." Yami said. "That shouldn't happen all of the way out here…"

"He seemed fine earlier," Tea said. "Or…as fine as he could have been…"

"It's not like him to just run off like this though. We should look for him…"

"Look for who?" a voice said. The three of them spun around to see Hamah behind them walking the horse up who seemed to be shouldering a good amount of baggage. The healer looked at them quizzically as she walked up to them.

"Yugi," Yami said. "We don't know where he went."

Hamah seemed to curse under her breath. "Who was the last to see him? Do you know which way he went?"

Tea raised her hand hesitantly and seemed to avoid Hamah's gaze as if she had done something wrong.

"I did," she said softly. "But I didn't see where he went. I…kinda fell asleep."

Hamah sighed. "I was afraid of this…"

"Wait," Joey said looking at her in surprise. "You knew that this would happen? Why didn't you say anything?"

"Well, I didn't exactly have a good way to bring it up while he was here, now did I?" she looked angrily at Joey then looked at Yami. "I am not having the three of you wander in these woods under-trained and alone. Anyone or anything could be out there."

"And what would we do in the meantime?" Yami said feeling impatient. "We can't just act like Yugi's not missing!"

"I will send the horse. It's alright."

Ignoring everyone's questioning gazes, Hamah walked over to the side of the horse, and undid a tie from the rope holding up all of the baggage. It all fell in a heap on either side of the horse and it stretched slightly, glad to be done with its heavy burden.

Then, Hamah muttered something in its ear. When she was done speaking, the horse tossed its head and trotted off into the forest. There were a few tense seconds before Joey spoke.

"You sent the horse to go look for Yugi?"

"Yes, I told him to report back with any news. Don't worry, he's reliable." she added seeing their dumbfound expressions. "I've worked with him many times before. Plus, the draconic language is useful in many ways including forming a closer bond with those who speak it. I trust him to find something."

"Are you sure?" Tea said. "What if Yugi's in trouble though and needs help?"

"Yugi is capable of defending himself," Hamah said sternly. "And anything that is a threat to him, none of you can handle anyway. Not yet. So, if any of you three want to be of any use, you should start training right away. We will wait for any news in the meantime. Alright?"

The three of them remained silent but didn't argue. Yami wished that he could say different and that he could defeat anything that challenged him. However, their battle with that black knight made him rethink that and made him want to become stronger. Not to mention, Hamah had a valid point. Yugi could defend himself, even if he doesn't mean to do it.

With these thoughts in mind, Hamah had him and Joey practice attacking trees and rocks to get the feel of their powers, while she had Tea meditate on sensing her own life force. Yami wasn't sure what it was all about but he didn't question Hamah, and neither did the other two. After a few hours of that, Hamah changed things around.

"Yami, Joey we're going to switch up. You two will be attacking each other."

"W-what?" Joey said with wide eyes. "Why?"

"First, it will be good practice in an actual fight. Trees and rocks can only fight back so much." Hamah said leaning up against the carriage. "Second…in order to have each other's backs in a real battle, you must know how they fight, move and think. Fighting each other will build these skills immensely. I don't want either of you holding back."

"But what if one of them gets hurt?" Tea asked having listened in on the conversation. Hamah raised an eyebrow at her as if the answer was obvious.

"Well you are a healer, aren't you?"

Tea's eyes grew wide slowly as if she just realized what Hamah's plan was.

"…Oh…." was all that she said.

So that's how their training went for the rest of the day. Yami and Joey would practice using attacks on one another while Tea healed their wounds. Though because Joey had a hard time holding back his strength, it was Yami that needed healing more than Joey. All it took was one good punch and even with a shield protecting him, Yami would be sent flying.

By the time nighttime came, everyone was exhausted except for Hamah. She had made a small fire to cook their food on and they were all sitting by it, appreciating its warmth.

"Now remember," she said cooking the meat on a stick. "This fire can only be active for an hour before we can extinguish it. It will draw too much attention to us."

Yami ignored Joey's annoyed comments on that and looked towards the woods behind him. All day he waited to hear from Yugi or at least, the horse with news. However, nothing came out from the foliage to ease his concerns and Yami wished that at least one of them would come back soon.

That brought up the other question in Yami's mind: why did he leave? Joey was right in thinking that Yugi wasn't acting right since their fight with the knight, but Yami would never have guessed that Yugi would run out on them. Was there a reason behind it or was the Dark Wood's power influencing him even from here? Yami tried not to think about it because it made him antsy but it was hard not to. Images of him dead or controlled by the darkness kept swimming in his head which would always bring up another question: were the two related?

Hamah handing out food distracted him from his thoughts. Tonight, they were having a meat that looked and smelled like chicken. However, Hamah assured them that there were no chickens in this dimension.

"Then what are we eating exactly?" Tea asked looking at the meat wearily.

"It's a species of bird common in this area." Hamah said. "Eat it, or don't. The choice is yours."

Everyone ate however, as hunger was something that would constantly creep up on them during training. Joey would always be the first to complain although Hamah had learned to ignore him.

"You seem to know an awful lot about where we come from," Joey said looking at her suspiciously. "If there's no chicken here, how do you even know what a chicken is?"

Hamah didn't look at him but stared into the fire. "I've been there once."

Yami blinked. "Really? You never said-"

"Because it was a long time ago, and I'd rather not get into it."

Yami didn't say anything but made an interesting observation. Whenever a subject comes up that is uncomfortable for her to talk about it, she either avoids it or says that she would rather not speak of it. She had said it a few times over the past couple of days and Yami was starting to grow curious of the healer's past.

"Why not?" Joey asked, clearly not having the sense to not talk about something when someone else asks not to. "Did something bad happen?"

Hamah glared at him. "Clearly."

"But if you've been there before, can't you just tell us the way you got there before? Then we can get back sooner."

"The method I used to get to your dimension isn't accessible anymore," Hamah said crossly. "So, I would advise you not to speak of it again."

Joey seemed to finally get the hint and became silent. Tea looked at Yami nervously before resuming her dinner. Nobody said anything else as she extinguished the fire with her own energy and still when everyone was preparing themselves for bed in the carriage. As everyone was settling in, Yami took one more hopeful glance out towards the woods, but there was still no movement signaling the return of a horse or a human. Hamah walked up to him looking out as well.

"Don't worry, we'll see him again soon." she said. Yami looked at her in confusion.

"How can you be so sure?"

"Because I've noticed that the two of you never stay apart for too long. Even when you left to get the horse back in town, you were back faster than I would have imagined. It almost seemed to defy logic."

Yami didn't say anything as she went to bed and soon after followed suit.

The next morning came with the rising sun and thundering sounds of many hooves stomping the ground. Yami woke up in a jerk as did everyone else. The first thing Yami thought of, was that the black horse had returned with news about Yugi. But he soon came to realize that there was more than one horse running around out there. Peeking his head out from the carriage he saw what looked to be ten to twenty horses all draped in armor fit for them. Some were galloping around their little campsite, others were stationary, staring at their carriage.

On top of these horses were people, dressed in silver and gold colored armor that matched their steeds. They wore no helmets however but they all had swords decorated richly in gemstones. Yami quickly looked away from the sight, going back fully into the carriage, where Hamah, Joey and Tea were looking at him expectantly for what he saw out there.

"Soldiers," he whispered. Hamah grimaced.

"Leave this to me," she said. She walked out to where she usually steered the horse and called out to the men. "Ho there! What brings you here this fine morning?"

There was a muttering in their ranks and the sounds of galloping horses slowed to a stop. Yami looked through the cracks of the carriage and was able to make out the soldiers lined up near the side. One soldier came forward on his horse, but Yami couldn't make out any details through the cracks.

"…Hamah?" The man said. His voice sounded like a young adult yet seemed to carry the weight of a great deal of secrets held on for many years. Also, strangely, he seemed to have sort of an English accent. "Hamah, is that you?"

There was a pause from the healer. "Have we met?"

"You don't remember me?" the man sounded shocked. "We fought together Hamah, in the last great war. Kael, remember?"

A small gasp could be heard from Hamah before she spoke.

"How could I forget…how you've grown Kael…"

"Ah well, it's been about ten years, hasn't it?" Kael said. He paused awkwardly before continuing. "What are you doing out here though? I thought you settled down after the war?"

Hamah sighed. "Training new recruits."

"Really? After all this time? What made you do that?"

The man called, Kael dismounted his horse and walked up to the carriage. Now that he was closer, Yami could see more details of the man. At first, he thought that the man was much older than he was, despite having a young and demanding sounding voice. However, he could be in his late thirties and still seemed to be in great shape. Unlike the rest of his party, the front of his armor was adorned with medals along with the gemstones making his armor sparkle in the morning glow.

"Desperate times, Kael."

"I don't suppose you are going to tell me what those are? Fighting the King perhaps?"

Hamah didn't say anything and Kael shifted uncomfortably. He looked at the carriage.

"Are your recruits in there?"

"…Yes. I will have them come out if you promise not to hurt them. We've only just started training you see…"

Kael seemed to bow slightly. "Of course. I know it's been a while Hamah, but you still should know me better than to do something like that."

"…A lot can change in ten years…"

"True, but I give you my word that no harm will come to anybody who relays peace."

Yami looked to the front of the carriage again where Hamah poked her head in.

"It's alright, you all can come out. Just don't try to attack anyone."

Yami shared nervous glances with Joey and Tea before leading the way outside the carriage. It was like being put up on stage for an introduction and it was a little strange. Upon first glance, all the soldiers looked at them warily as if unsure of their motives. Uneasiness rippled through the crowd and Kael had to hold his hand up at them to pacify everyone.

"It's alright," he said before shifting his attention back to the three teens. "Good morrow! I am Kael, leader of the rebellion against the King. Behind me are my men. Who are you three?"

Yami glanced nervously at Hamah who nodded. The three of them then introduced themselves. When they were all finished with formalities, Kael put his hands on his hips and looked at them with interest.

"Now I am assuming that since you all are training with Hamah, you all have special abilities, am I correct?"

"…I guess…" Joey said when no one answered. Kael nodded.

"Good. What are they?"

"Kael," Hamah said sounding annoyed. "You're not trying to recruit them into your army, are you?"

"Why my dear lady!" Kael said sounding mockingly surprised. "What ever would give you that idea?"

"These three are off limits," she said sternly. "Special circumstances."

"And what might those be?"

Hamah crossed her arms against her chest. "That is none of your concern."

Kael chuckled. "Ah Hamah, you are as stubborn as ever." He looked at the three teens once more as if waiting for an answer.

After another uncomfortable silence, Tea spoke up. She sounded nervous and pointed to each one as she talked of them. "Well, I can heal, Joey has super strength and Yami can make weapons-"

"-Weapons quickly! I'm…a blacksmith," Yami lied. He shared a nervous glance at Hamah and out of the corner of his eye, he saw Tea put a hand over her mouth as if realizing she said something wrong.

Hamah had warned him when she first gave him that power that it would attract the attention of people who were enemies to the King. The power supposedly came from men from the King's elite so people could automatically think he's with the King if they saw it. And seeing as how these people were rebels, showing them this ability that Hamah gave him wouldn't be wise. Kael seemed to look at him suspiciously.

"Your special ability…is that you're a blacksmith?" he said with scrutiny. "I fail to see how that's special at all…"

"He's really fast at it!" Tea said with enthusiasm as if trying to cover up the mistake she had obviously made. "It's really useful for battles and…stuff…"

Kael raised an eyebrow. "Surely that must be important for the two of you… seeing as how you don't need any weapons."

Tea sweat dropped but then Joey cut in.

"He needs to make them fast for me," he said with a nervous laugh. "Having super strength and all, they break a lot and I go through weapons like crazy."

"So where are they?" Kael asked. When the three of them looked at him with confused looks, he rolled his eyes. "The weapons! If you make them so quickly, I would assume that you would have extras on hand, do you not?

This time, Yami was ready for an answer. "I don't have any of the provisions necessary to make anything. We ran out of supplies."

Kael still seemed skeptical at first but then it seemed to dissipate within a few seconds. He looked back at Hamah and sighed. "Very well then. But you very well may have heard, I am looking for more troops to enlist into my small army."

"Kael, I told you, no!" Hamah said loudly but Kael seemed to ignore her.

"You two," Kael said pointing to Joey and Yami. "Would be great to have on the battlefield. I could use men like you."

"And what am I? A rock?" Tea said with bitterness in her voice. Kael looked at her with pity in his eyes.

"Alas, I would love to take you on but healers really don't fit well into my army…you understand?"

Tea didn't say anything but her expression became that of confusion. Hamah stepped forward in a huff.

"Look," she said angrily. "It's a no, alright?"

Again, Kael ignored her.

"Look boys, in exchange for your services, you will be given lodgings, food, safety, access to our archives which has the largest assortment of information in Necropolis…and willingness for the army to help you on any or your personal quests as long as they aren't outside of our code. What do you say?"

Before Kael started speaking, Yami had no intention of thinking of going with this army to help fight in their battles. However, given his proposals, more opportunities could open up. There was a possibility that Kael could help them find Solomon and Tristan. They could help them find Yugi as well, not to mention, a way back home. If their archives really did have as much information as Kael said they did, the answer to all of their problems could be there.

Yami shared an uncertain glance with Hamah and he could see her features soften at his gaze, as if she knew what he was thinking. Hamah sighed and looked at Kael.

"Can you give them until noon to think about this?" she asked. For once, Kael didn't ignore her and nodded. He turned to his men.

"We're taking a rest! Follow me!" Kael led his horse about a hundred yards away. Once they found a resting spot, the rest of the men dismounted their horses and began stretching their legs and fiddling with their belongings. As soon as they were out of earshot, Hamah rounded on him.

"You can't seriously be considering going with them?"

"Look Hamah," Yami said before either of the other two could speak. "I was thinking-"

"That they would help you find Yugi?" she said quickly cutting him off. "Or your other friends? We're you thinking that they would be able to get you all back home? I wouldn't count on it. Kael leads a group of rebels who have hatred for the King. They may have a special library, but that won't help you much here. They only care for their own goals."

There was a pause before Joey spoke up.

"Yeah, I dunno If I trust that guy. He seems full of himself."

Hamah sighed. "He is but rightly so. In battle, there isn't many who could stand up to his strength. However, he does have a fatal flaw: he doesn't believe that pure healers have a place on the battlefield."

"Is that why he didn't want me in?" Tea said shockingly. After Hamah nodded, she then added, "Is it true though? That healers shouldn't be in battle?"

"No!" Hamah looked angry although it wasn't directed at the three of them. "Healers are essential in battle and are just as important as the soldiers in the front lines! We can change the tide of a battle with a simple wave of our hands, yet Kael doesn't want to believe that. However, it is because of that reason, I believe that he is destined to fail against his rebellion against the King."

"Because he won't take in any healers?"

"Yes. Why do you think we haven't spoken to each other for ten years?"

Still, as Yami thought about it, Kael's proposal did seem like a good deal. They would still be trained but in addition to that, they would have a way to get everyone together and get home. They didn't have to see this war out, just assist in it.

But then Yami looked at Tea and knew how heartbroken she would be if he and Joey went off with Kael in his army without her. He couldn't do that to her and tried to think of a loophole.

"What if we set demands?" Yami said after thinking for a moment. Everyone looked at him questioningly. "Kael really seems to want us to join. So, we say that we agree to join them as long as we can all stick together and still set out what we originally came out to do. I still want to find Yugi, Tristan and Grandpa. We don't have to live with them or take on all of their battles."

"You want to be in both companies?" Hamah said with a raised eyebrow.

"I just don't think that it would be a good idea to fully decline his offer. If there's a way to get everyone back together to go home, I think we should take it."

Joey and Tea looked at each other thoughtfully as if seeing if they would agree with each other then looked at Yami and Hamah.

"That's even if Kael goes for this idea of yours," Joey said uneasily. "I mean, what if it's a trap?"

Hamah laughed humorlessly. "I know I haven't seen Kael in ten years, but there is one thing that will never change with him and that's honesty. He values that over many things so he's not the person you should be looking at for a lie."

Tea looked at Yami. "If you're up for it, I'm okay with that." Joey nodded.

"Yeah, as long as we all get to stick together, I think it's worth a shot."

With that in mind, the four of them walked over to the rebel's rest spot and found Kael immediately. He was leaning against a tree outside of the circle of soldiers as if waiting for them. When they approached, he stood up straight in eagerness.

"Well?" he asked. "Have you made your decision?"

"Yes," Yami said feeling nervous for some reason. He told Kael of his proposal and when he was done, Kael had leaned up against the tree again in thought. He didn't say anything for a moment after Yami finished speaking but once he had made his decision, he looked up at all four of them with a smirk.

"Alright. I will agree to your terms but only if you agree to two more."

Yami felt uneasy. "What are they?"

"The first, is that you all will accompany us to the battle that we are heading towards now, and possibly fight in it as well."

"You're heading towards a battle? With whom?" Hamah said, her voice demanding. Kael sighed.

"The King has sent his own army to march across the Dead Sea to reach this side of Necropolis to seize land here. It will take us a couple of days to get there, but I am certain that his army's numbers will be vast. His army could be twice the size of this one. We could use all the help that we can get."

"Wait…The Dead Sea?" Joey said looking confused. "They're marching across an ocean?"

It was Hamah who spoke up to Joey's question next.

"The Dead Sea isn't an ocean, but a vast wasteland. Nothing lives there, and nothing grows. The reason they call it a sea, is because it covers a one fourth of Necropolis and it's as large as any ocean. It may have even been an ocean at one point."

Kael nodded. "Correct. A great place for a battle. Do you agree to the first term?"

Yami looked from Joey, to Tea, then to Hamah. Everyone looked nervous.

"I think it would be good for the three of you to see a proper battle," Hamah said looking at the three of them. "Plus, the Dead Sea is a two-day walk from here, so we can still get practicing in when we can."

Yami looked at Joey and Tea who seemed to nod at Hamah's words.

"Great," Kael said. "Then that comes down to my second term."

Kael looked straight at Yami, and then did something that the ex-pharaoh wasn't expecting. His right hand glowed red and within a second, a sword made of pure energy formed in his hand. He didn't have time to register it fully before Kael was on top of him, swinging his energy sword at him. Yami did the first thing he could think of and made a shield using his own energy. The yellow energy flowed through him and created the shield but didn't have enough power yet to withstand Kael's attack. His red sword shattered Yami's shield the moment they made contact which sent them both stumbling a few feet backwards.

"Dude!" Joey yelled in protest.

"Kael!" Hamah shouted getting in between him and Yami. "What is the meaning of this?!"

Kael looked annoyed but put his sword away in a huff. "What is the meaning of you lying to me about this power that he has? Blacksmith indeed…"

"I-" Hamah began to say but stuttered in her explanation. "I can explain."

"I hope so Hamah," Kael said. "I can't have people traveling with us that I can't trust, and seeing as how you all just lied to me…."

Hamah took a deep breath but did not lower her guard. "The power was from me. I gave it to him. He was never employed by the King."

Kael looked surprised. "Then how did you get it?"

"Remember when we were separated from each other when we fought the King the last time?"

Kael looked thoughtful. "Are you saying that…you stole-?"

"-Borrowed without permission."

"That's forbidden, isn't it Hamah?" Kael said now looking amused. "To take the abilities of others?"

"I did what I had to do to stay alive. That is all." Hamah said. Kael laughed.

"Alright, you have a fair point. But then why didn't you all say this from the beginning? We could have avoided that little skirmish."

"It wasn't my choice to lie to you," Hamah said looking at Yami, who felt himself go red in the face.

"But you said-"

"I know what I said," Hamah cut him off. "And I stand by that. I'm sorry that I didn't cut into your lie earlier but I was just surprised by the situation. You can tell Kael about your power, especially since it seems that he acquired the same power himself."

Kael shrugged with a smug look on his face. "Guilty."

"So wait…you and Yami have the same ability?" Joey said pointing from Kael to Yami as he said that. "What, was it mass produced in a lab or something?"

"You could say that," Hamah said. "It was given to anyone in the King's elite or if he was feeling merciful, he gave it to his entire army. It really depended on his mood."

"Oh."

"The power died with a lot of men after the King stopped giving it out, and now it's on the verge of becoming a lost art."

"True," Kael said. "I don't think there's more than ten people alive now who have this ability, let alone use it to its full capacity."

"Which brings up another question," Hamah said looking at Kael with a raised eyebrow. "Where did you get that power?"

Kael shrugged again and smirked. "I did what I had to do to stay alive."

Hamah narrowed her eyes at him mimicking her but did not press the issue. Kael turned to Yami.

"I can tell that you are new at this, so if you would like, I will train you on how to properly use it. Is that alright with you?"

Yami blinked. "Sure."

"Great!" Kael said with enthusiasm. "We can all leave by noon."

"But what about our carriage?" Tea said looking at it. "Are we going to just leave it here?"

"We have an extra horse to pull it if you all want to travel like you were." Kael said. "It will make traveling easier as well."

By the time noon came, everyone was ready and the entire group started walking to the east, along the mountains. The soldiers didn't talk to them much but when they did, they seemed kind and willingly helpful. All in all, Yami figured that the entire group was full of people whose lives had been ruined by the King and wanted things set right. They walked between a mountain range and a dense forest for most of the day. Nobody spoke much until the sun started to set. Most of the soldiers were trying to figure out the best spot to set up camp for the night.

By the time that was achieved, the moon was out and the sun was almost completely gone. Campfires dotted their large campsite as groups of the men coalesced together. Yami, Joey, Tea and Hamah stayed by the carriage with their own fire.

"But won't these attract attention?" Tea asked looking around at all of the fires. Some of them were definitely large and had a lot of wood fueling them.

"We're in such a large group now that if anything tried to attack us, they probably wouldn't live to see the sun rise." Hamah said cooking meat once more. "Not to mention, if any creature or enemy was smart, they wouldn't even go near a large group anyway. They would be vastly outnumbered."

They were silent for a while, listening to the sounds of chatter from the soldiers and the distant sounds of crickets. Joey had a stick and was poking at the fire and moving the burning logs around.

"Hamah," Yami said suddenly. "What about the horse that you sent out to look for Yugi? Will he know where to find us since we've moved?"

"He will probably return to that spot and sniff us out. To the animals here, our smell is so potent, that it could be smelt for miles. He will most likely follow our trail and catch up with us if he comes back with any information."

"Oh…okay," Yami said. He looked to the surrounding forest for any other signs of life in a hope that a black horse would be trotting up to them. However, in the dying sunlight, nothing much could be seen past the tree line.

His thoughts drifted back to the last time he saw Yugi. He seemed quiet and not himself, and Yami berated himself for not talking to him about it before he and Joey went on their walk. Thinking about it more, Yami thought the same question he had been thinking of since Yugi walked off: Why? Why did he leave? Did it have something to do with the Dark Woods controlling him or something more? Thanks to Joey, Yami knew that Yugi had died earlier that day and mysteriously came back to life. Was that part of the issue as well? These thoughts continued to circle in Yami's head until Tea spoke to him.
"You're thinking about Yugi again," she said almost as if scolding him and yet she spoke softly. Yami looked at her in surprise and realized that she had been watching him for a few minutes. "I can tell."

Joey and Hamah looked up from staring at the fire in surprise but didn't speak. Yami didn't say anything either, mostly because he didn't want to admit to them that without Yugi here, he felt empty…like a part of him was missing. In a way, Yami supposed that it was true.

"I think he'll be okay," Tea said. "You shouldn't worry about him too much."

Yami felt surprised by her comment mostly because she's the one that usually needed to be told this. He only figured though that she heard it enough times to believe it. Yami looked back at the fire trying not to show his emotions.

"Yes, I know…"

"Especially with this big battle on the way," Joey spoke up. "We need to be on top of our game."

Yami just nodded and Hamah audibly sighed.

"If Yugi truly walked off on his own, he will return when he is ready," she said. "You two are right. It's time to focus on the task at hand. Can you do that?"

Everyone was looking at him so despite how he actually felt, Yami nodded.

"Yes," he lied.
