"I forgot how annoying being 15 is, God why does school have to start so fucking early, I'm an Adventurer for fucks sake I should be allowed to have my sleep" Raven complained with a yawn, idly cutting into a fried egg with his fork and knife
You see yesterday should've just been an orientation day, they would go to school, meet their classmates, have an assembly with Nezu where they meet the rest of the teachers, then they'd get a speech from Hound Dog about seeing him if they have any problems, once that was done they were just allowed to go home after getting a tour of the building
Except Class 1-A didn't do that since Aizawa had taken them to the sports field where they'd done a Quirk Apprehension Test
So anyway, yesterday was supposed to only be a half-day which was entirely dedicated to a few events and a tour with today being their first proper day at the Academy, the reason Raven is complaining is that he has to wake up at 6 o'clock just to have enough time for everything and to get to school on time
Seriously why does school start at 8:25?! That's so fucking early! Even in his past life, he didn't have to be at his job until 10!

He'd forgotten why he hated school so much but now he can understand why he hated it so fucking much! And now he was gonna be stuck in this Godforsaken place for months! Sure there'd be the good parts like the Hero Training Lessons and Internships and all that jazz but he was going back to fucking school!

It's even more annoying since he won't even be the smartest person there, sure he's smart now since he has a fucking eidetic memory but when your in the same class as a girl who can memorize literal molecular formula- the same class as someone who can determine how much force they need to use to shift their body in mid-air all the while creating a smokescreen within a matter of second-
God, he feels so fucking stupid when he thinks about it like that
For fucks sake Horikoshi why are the kids here so damn smart! You're making him cry literal tears over here!
That said he can just skim through a couple of textbooks and memorise everything so he doesn't really have to study again but it's the thought that counts!
There'd be no way he'd have gotten into UA without it and that's not just him talking about his power
Having an eidetic memory is a literal cheat code, of he wanted to all he'd have to do is go to a library borrow a whole lotta book on a whole lotta different subjects and he could theoretically become an expert in all of them
He could vividly remember a story about a guy who posed as a 'surgeon' so he could get cash and was hired in a battleship except when they actually went to war he didn't know what to do, except his eidetic memory let him actually perform surgery saving the lives of various crew members just after he read a single fucking book on the subject (AN: That's a true story btw, just Ferdinand Waldo Demara and you can read the full story)
Raven sighed, standing up to take his plate to the kitchen where he proceeded to wash it dry. Today's lessons are just gonna the be usual ones, Math, Science, English, etcetera except at the end of the day they'll be handed off to All Might who'll finish the day by teaching them Basic Heroics in which they'll finally wear their Official Hero Costumes and have a battle trial
Honestly, so long as he doesn't get paired against Todoroki he'll be fine and that's only because he knows Todoroki is just gonna freeze the building whole
Everyone else is simple enough to plan around, especially since they don't actually know what his power is, so really it just depends on if he's on the hero team or the Villain
If he's a Villain all he has to do is stand at the doorway, turn invisible and capture them
If he's a hero all he has to do is walk through the building and fuck up the senses of his opponents, capturing both them and the bomb
'Once again, I'm left completely in awe over this ability, now if only I could cast illusions without having to physically see people then this would be op… I should probably start working on that, God I can't wait until I can cast a Tsukuyomi on someone…

He facepalmed, rubbing the bridge of his nose in annoyance as a thought crossed his mind. Fishing his phone out of the pocket he dropped it on his desk, moving around his bedroom as he got ready for the day
"Ayla, I have a question"
He waited, idly stepping into the schools Dark Blue-green pants when Ayla's 'voice' - which was basically just Siri speaking since Ayla technically doesn't have a voice
"Yes?"
"My Skill [Never-Ending Potential], does that skill also work any abilities I get as well as my physical condition?"
"Yes"
"Cool, Cool, Cool, Cool, Cool" A loud 'thud' resounded through the room as Raven's palm met his forehead, his white shirt hanging around his arms as he paused
"I take it to increase my strength, stamina and whatever, I just have to continue working out yeah?" He sighed
"Yes"
"Cool…" He sighed, buttoning up his shirt and grabbing the red tie from its hanger
"And how would I go about increasing the power of my Abilities?"
"Continual use of a [Ability] will cause them to naturally strengthen"
"Right, that makes sense" He sighed again, turning back to his phone as he grabbed his shoes "Is there a way for me to improve how my abilities work? Like making it so a person only has to see my Illusion once for it to stick or something?"
The phone was silent for a minute as he finished tying up the laces on his shoes making him glance at the desk in confusion
"To access [Upgrade Ability] certain conditions must be met, a quest will now be given that matches the user's request"
"Woah- What? Upgrade Ability-? Quest-?" Raven faltered, grabbing his phone from his desk to find out what was going on when a message popped up
Quest-UpgradeAbility: Use Your Quirk to affect all five senses of 100,000 People to upgrade Kyoka Suigetsu from [Near Copy] to [Perfect Copy]
A sigh escaped Raven as he read the message, it's nice to know he can upgrade his abilities - it means he won't be stuck just using specific powers for the rest of his life after all and can eventually upgrade something like Basic Fire Manipulation into Complete Pyromancy - but he'd have preferred to learn that out with a much smaller quest than the one he's been given
Still, a small smirk crossed his face as he looked down at the message, it won't be that hard to complete this specific request, especially with a certain event coming up in a few weeks, which would complete the majority of the quest (1)

"God this is so fucking boring" Raven couldn't help but sigh as he sat through Present Mics lesson. Since the Radio Hero teaches Eglish at UA Raven couldn't help but feel bored, as a native Englishman he doesn't exactly need lessons on his own fucking language, doubled with the fact that he has a skill that allows him to understand, read and write in any language means that he's currently trying not to fall asleep during the loud teacher's lesson
Which says a lot since the man practically yells every word he speaks!
And he's still trying not to pass out!
"Alright, class! Tell me where the mistake is in the next sentence!" He rolled his eyes, dropping his head on his arms as he rested, he basically wasn't allowed to participate in this lesson since he knew more English than his teacher did, it'd be like a french person taking an American French class, totally useless to them
"WHO KNOWS THE ANSWER?! COME ON RAISE YOUR HANDS UP HIIIIGH!" He sighed much like everyone else in the room, the lessons were so… normal, of course, U.A. is still just a High School so of course they still have lessons but they're even more boring since he knows they have an exciting class later
Plus the fact that he already knows everything he needs to from this class and unlike Tsunotori in Class 1-B, he doesn't need practice on his Japanese since he's basically fluent in it thanks to his Skill
"Yaoyorozu lay it on us!" He sighed again as Momo answered

"So what even is your Quirk King?" Raven paused, glancing over at Kaminari who'd joined been one of the few people to join him during lunch. Currently, his table consisted of Kaminari, Kirishima and Ashido, all of whom were looking at him excitedly/expectantly
He'd mostly kept to himself after the Quirk Apprehension Test and had basically vanished when they were allowed to leave so no one really got the chance to talk to him, the fact that he was actually being social today is probably something of a plus to them
"Hmm, My quirk allows me to manipulate the senses of anyone who hears me make a noise" He smiled at the blonde, clicking his fingers to make them all hear a faint shout in the distance, all of them hearing their own names coming from different areas in the building
"Woah! That's awesome dude!" He chuckled at Kaminari's shout which was quickly followed by confirmations by Ashido and Kirishima, the former calling it 'Super Cool' and the latter using his most notable phrase by calling it 'super manly'
"I actually come from a long line of Heroes back in England, for as long as it's been recorded all of us have mental based quirks, for example, my Grandfather can cause people to have intense bouts of nausea and cause extreme migraines when he was a Pro he'd make his opponents nauseous so they wouldn't have a chance to fight." That was true, he could remember the training his Grandfather had put his body through as a child and he was no stranger to randomly throwing up or getting a splitting headache during a fight
You wouldn't think something so simple would be so effective
Then again this was the man who taught him to use his quirk in small ways to throw his opponent off, like making them taste vomit in their mouths
He shivered at the reminder, his Grandfather in this world was a twisted bastard
'Also what's up with the bird theme in this family, I'm Raven, My Dad was apparently called Sparrow and my Grandfathers called Crow- Wait a fucking minute, are we the King of Birds? Seriously? Does that mean I'm the Raven King or King of Ravens? Fucks sake...'
"Wait so you come from a line of heroes?" He gave a solitary nod, idly eating a bit of his Jacket Potato "That's so Manly!"
"Yeah, it's why I'm so proficient with my quirk. You'll notice that people from Hero Families tend to have better Quirk Control when they're in school, right now, for example, I'm not actually speaking at all, I'm just making you all hear and see me speak, I'm actually still eating my food, in the Quirk Apprehension Test yesterday 4 of the top 5 came from Hero Families with only Bakugo not being from one, then again one of his parents may be a hero, I'm not sure" He 'said', the image his… friends(?) were seeing shattered, revealing the true him that was underneath the illusion
He gave the three students a smile, clicking his fingers to give the illusion of him casting his illusion on them
Like before a clone appeared over him, though it looked so natural that it was only with him specifically showing them the motion of him placing the illusion that allowed them to know what had happened
"That's so cool! Can you do that to anyone?!" He nodded to Ashido's question who suddenly started sporting a very mischievous grin "can you put that guy over there in an illusion?" He followed her finger to see who she was pointing at and shrugged
"Sure" His answer stole the rest of their tables attention, cancelling the illusion he placed on them to make them hear and see him talk he ended up letting out a sharp whistle, the sound attracting the attention of a few people who just shook their heads and looked away
Luckily the guy Ashido pointed at also turned and with nary a thought he had the guy hearing a very… ahem, sensual whisper in his ear that had him lushing cherry red, a not so subtle move to cross one of his legs over the other quickly followed
He couldn't help but chuckle at the image, he couldn't wait until he could do that to super innocent people-
'Oh my god how would Midoriya react to that?! He'd pass out'
Luckily with Ashido and Kaminari already laughing at his poor victim, his slight chuckle went unheeded by the three other Hero Course Students

"I AM…" Raven smirked at the shout, not needing to open his eyes to know what was about to go down even as the rest of the class started buzzing in their seats, everyone recognising who the voice belonged to the moment it was spoken "...COMING THROUGH THE DOOR LIKE A NORMAL PERSON"
The class started muttering between one another, each expressing their own shock and awe at having All Might himself as their teacher. He'd done could remember a lot about the man who stood before him and their excitement explained a lot
All Might isn't just the Number 1 Hero in Japan
He's the Official-Unofficial Number 1 in basically all of Asia as well as The United States of America, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, The United Kingdom, Most of Central Europe and Australia
The man had done several tours in dozens of countries all around the globe, he'd been a hero for 30 years Minimum and had defeated some Continent Class Villains by himself
Continent Class Villaining literally meaning Villains who would typically have to be taken out by entire teams of heroes, preferably with nearly a dozen or so Top 10 Heroes
The Symbol of Peace isn't just a title given to him by Japan but by the World itself since the man literally just kept saving
'Looking at it now you can kind of understand Endeavours attitude, oh sure he's still an absolute fucking abusive bastard but when the Number 1 Hero in your home country is the Number 1 worldwide the seemingly small gap that normally existed between the two must seem like an insurmountable mountain'
Unconsciously his eyes drifted to the smiling green-haired boy on the other side of the room. This kid is All Might successor, the kid who will eventually go on to surpass the Symbol of Peace and… he can barely handle a single per cent of the man's power
'God I've got my work cut out for me, I need to make Midoriya aware of how fucking stupid he's being with that quirk of his, honestly Toshinori the first thing you should've done was call Nezu or Sorahiko and asked for help in training Midoriya, at least then he'd have a better idea than 'clench your butt and smash''
"King" Raven blinked out of his thoughts, glancing at the voice - Kirishima - who spoke, a briefcase now in all the student's hands with only a single one left on the rack
With a thankful nod the red-headed student, Raven moved along, grabbing the silver case that held a bright red '9' on it and pulling it from its confined, after a short journey through to where the changing rooms were he joined the rest of the boys in getting changed
Luckily his outfit hadn't changed much from his original design and the only real changes were cosmetic so it was a sleeker design.
His bomber jacket had been made to fit him perfectly, with slightly thick padding on the inside of the chest which would make it so bullets and swords couldn't penetrate it as easily as it could a normal jacket, his shirt had remained the same, just a plain, light blue t-shirt though a small Raven had been embroidered above his right breast.
The biggest change to the outfit was definitely on his pants and even then it was just a small magnetic clip just above where his left pocket is, the magnetic clip actually being inside the fabric of his pants made it so the sheathed of his sword could connect to the clip and stay on his waist, he'd left the placement of his sword up to the company designer and it was easier to add a clip into his pants and magnetise his sheathe than it would've been to create a holster for his sword to be put on his back
His shoes had also remained the same
Though the creator of his costume had added their own personal touch on it, adding a small Gold Trident on the outside of his shoe
He didn't complain, the gold added a contract so the rest of his basically black costume, honestly the only colour I the thing was his shirt, especially since the designers had changed the dark red jacket into a black one
After tying his laces together he costumed to look down at the box, inside was definitely his Katana, though his they fit it in there he doesn't know, on top of that another, smaller box was present
This box made him smile
During the days leading up to him taking the exam he'd thought up different support items for his costume, one specific items being these
Opening the box he grinned at the handsome drone, as well as the metal outlined screen that lay beneath it. Grabbing the note that had been pinned to the size of the box he read through it, memorising the intrusions with ease
The drone had a camera attached to it which would live stream directly to the small phone like creation he'd been given, he could use that phone to operate the drone from a distance using it almost like a controller to move the drone through the air
Why did he ask for a Drone?
His power relies on him seeing his opponents, the moment he can see them he can trap them in an Illusion, that doesn't mean he has to physically be there nor does it mean they have to see him for it to work, the only requirement being that he can see them
Of course now that he has that quest the drone will eventually become useless but it can still be handy for reconnaissance
He can always have it tricked out in some massively technologically-advanced world after all-
"Dude you have a Katana?!" He chuckled at Kaminari words, the blonde haired teen peering over his shoulder and into the box which his beautiful Kyoka Suigetsu is contained it
"Yup, I applied for one when I was accepted into UA and after some paperwork I was able to get it." He pulled the sword from the box, grinning at the jingling bells that had been attached just below the guard on the sword
Luckily the team who forged this beautiful weapon had managed to get Kyoka Suigetsu nearly perfectly to how it had looked in Bleach, the only difference being the green wrapping of his sword was a more emerald green compared to the darker green for Aizen's sword
"Aww maaan, I'm so jealous! If I knew I could've had a sword I would've got one man!" He chuckled again, attaching the Katana ro his waist where it sat, jumping a but he felt the katan stay in place, not falling or slipping as he moved
Cool
Means he doesn't have to worry about suddenly dropping his sword
"Students are only allowed to use weapons if its required for their quirks or have the necessary experience with them, otherwise you'd have to go through a trial period of around 18 months before you could get access to it, because my family have been known to use swords alongside their quirk before I was allowed to do so, of course, there was still a lot of paperwork involved to make sure I understood exactly what consequences I'll face if I misuse it, honestly it probably isn't worth it for someone like you Kaminari, you'd have a better chance at trying to make a sword out of electricity and using that then requesting an actual sword like me." He didn't technically lie, some of this bodies ancestors had, in fact, used swords alongside their quirks but none of them recent enough to matter
Honestly, he just summed it up to his family being a known Hero family and rolling with it
Well, it's either that or the Creator just made it easier for him, he didn't try to understand what that guy - God - was thinking
"Right, I'm off, I'll see y'all out there." He shut his case, Katana at his waist and drone tucked safely in one of the many compartments in his pants
'I'll need to get a utility belt or something… eh, it doesn't really matter since I'll have the 'True Kyoka Suigetsu' soon'
From there he exited the room, silently followed by Todoroki who'd finished putting in his half-ice costume or whatever it was called
God he feels cold just looking at the thing, it looks so fucking realistic that he wouldn't be surprised if it actually was ice and not just… whatever It's made of
Anyways, after silently making their way to the meeting area and meeting up with his other classmates, they all eventually found themselves waiting for the rest of their class so All Might could begin his lesson, it was during this time that Raven finally got a good look at everyone else's costumes and honestly? They were all pretty cool, well, Mineta's was kinda stupid, and Aoyama's was overly excessive but he moved past that with ease
Eventually, everyone had left the room, even Midorita with his strangely dramatic entrance which inevitably drew the attention of everyone in the class, hey he waited until the last moment to leave even though he had a very simple costume and then chose to walk through the middle of the corridor after everyone had arrived
They were all waiting for him to get here so they could begin
At least the dude looked uncomfortable at the attention before All Might stole everyone's away by explaining the exorcise
Which was exactly as it was in Canon, a battle trail between two teams with one team of two posing as Villains and the others as heroes
"Alright folks let's do this, everyone takes your turns drawing a letter and find your partner." The large teacher announced, holding the box containing the letters inside
After a bit of queuing Raven eventually reached the first, dropping his hand I the box he swirled it around a few times, pulling on a note at random, after leaving the queue he moved over to where everyone else who'd chosen their letters stood, opening his up a single, bold letter stood out to him

"Oh, King." He turned away from the paper, meeting the smiling face of Yaoyorozu who held up her own paper, a bold letter 'C' printed in her own as well "It seems we're partners for this exorcise"
He nodded with a smile l, the two of them heading back to where All Might stood, the teacher then going on to explain what was happening and then pull out the first two teams participating
Heroes - Team A: Izuku Midoriya and Ochako Uraraka
Villains - Team D: Katsuki Bakugou and Tenya Iida

Time passed by quickly and everything followed its Canon path, Midoriya and Bakugo got into a fight that ended with Midoriya injured after Katuski used his massive explosion, Uruaka caught Iida off guard by using the rubble Deku's last punch created as a baseball while using a podium she grabbed as a baseball bat
After they returned, with Midoriya being taken to the infirmary, Yaoyorozu continued to give her explanation about each individual teams performance
Anyways after Midoriya and Bakugo's teams fight finished two new teams were selected, from there Todoroki and Shoji played Hero against Villains Hagakure and Ojiro, with the former flash freezing the entire building and capturing both Villains and the bombs
After them, Jirou and Kaminari went up against Sero and Kaminari, then Tokoyami and Asui against Mina and Aoyama, finally after their teams finished up his own team had been called
"Team C as the Villains." The hero announced, pulling their letter from the Villain box "Against Team F as the Heroes."
They were the last team to go anyways, so they already knew who their opponents would be, they just had to wait to find out which team they were to begin

"King." He turned to his partner as they made their way through the building, the Recommendation Student giving him a neutral look as they walked
"Yaoyorozu." He raised an eyebrow
"Can you tell me how exactly your Quirk works, I assume it's some form of teleportation from yesterday's Apprehension Test?" He smirked at her, drawing a raised eyebrow from the rich girl
"My Quirk allows me to manipulate the five senses of anyone who hears me make a noise, basically it allows me to out people in an illusion they can't break out." The girl's eyes widened at his admittance, eyes moving down to the katana at his side, focusing on the bells tied around the handle
"I see, my own Quirk allows me to create any object I know the molecular formula of by using the fat lipids in my body." He nodded his head as he found the bomb, turning to face his teammate he frowned
Her ego wasn't as fragile as it would be in a weeks time but he didn't want to damage it that badly, especially since he knew the girl before him is an extremely valuable ally to have
"So how do you want to do this, with my quirk we can end this within a couple of minutes, all I have to do is wait at the door and make myself invisible, either that or we can wait for them here and capture them both under invisibility?" The Girl frowned but nodded
"I feel bad about having you do all the work but… it's the quickest way to win." He agreed and as he turned to leave he paused, sending a silent glance back at the girl
"There's still a chance either of them can escape, after all from what we've seen Mineta is the only one who can touch his balls-" He tried to not snicker at his words "-so he could try running and climbing through one of the windows or attempt to pin me with his Sticky Balls, we still need to protect the weapon anyways so having some defence will be good." The Girl beamed at him, making him smile in response.
Of course, there's absolutely no way in hell Sato or Mineta could escape him but she'd feel useless if he just did all the work, this was she felt like she was useful and didn't have to worry about being deadweight
The buzzer sounded when he was around the bottom of the stairs, the sound having him move his hand from his sides to resting on his Katana as he walked to the corridor, as soon as Sato came rushing around the corner he pushed down in his sword, the bells jingle letting him use his quirk to hide everything from the Sugerman, after quickly tagging the lager of the two students he moved on to the smaller one, simply causing the purple pervert to experience a very uncomfortable high pitched scream that distracted the boy enough for him to 'tag' him
And like that, they win the fight
It was a letdown.
The first few chapters are really boring and I hate it, this chapter was so dull to write and O actually and to force myself to to it, I honestly started contemplating starting again with Raven appearing in a different world entirely. Idk what it is about My Hero Academia but I just can't wrote that world, I love the anime and manga and but I just can't wrote a decent fanfiction based on My Hero, it's why I take down most My Hero stories I post, because they're all shit to me
Eh, I'll push through, the USJ will be interesting and so will the sports festival after it, I just hope that it isn't as dull as both this and the last chapter was
God I can't wait until he can to go another world
Anyways, decided to create a sort of pattern so I don't burn out again, so I'm going to be alternating stories, I'll wrote a chapter of this one and tben a chapter for my Fairy Tail fanfiction and so on, the only time it'll change is if I'm taking a break from one story, post a short chapter (like 3,000 words) on one of them or if I just can't get the motivation to write the other one
It allows en to write how I want when I want but also gives me the right motivation to get shit done aha
Also my Laptops being a bitch right now so I'm writing everything out on my phone, so if things don't look right then… well you know why
