Chapter 5 The God Slayer

It has been 2 years since Sean left the South Pole to learn who he was and what he was. In those two years he had trained with those in Avalar to master his skills and abilities.

And in those years Sean had traveled to parts of the world to learn the truth about what was corrupting the gods. Sadly nothing new ever appeared just the same story about a dark force being responsible.

Currently right now Sean sat at his docks looking at the water. He had changed physically over the last two years. His muscles had increased greatly due to countless hours of training with his friends he made and from Chiron's training. And had a red mark that went from his body to his left eye just like his father. (Mark of Kratos)

Sean had also asked Brok and Sindri to make some armor for him that suited him perfectly. (Kratos's armor as the God of War)

Sighing he took a swig of wine from a cup.

"Still missing your home brother?"

Sean grinned before pulling something from behind him which turned out to be a severed head with horns on top along with strange markings and a glowing eye on the right.

This was Mimir the smartest man alive.

Now as to how this happened was simple.

Reznov had brought him to Midgard to see his home and collect some things for Brok and Sindri. Thats when they found Mimir at the top of the mountain and freed him thanks to a witch they had met.

"Ah. I'm always missing home. As much as I hate the cold it's still home. I especially miss Korra and everyone else there." Sean said.

"It's been what? 2 years since you left?" Mimir asked.

"Yup. When I first left I just wanted to know where I was from and more importantly what I was. I found out but just didn't like it." Sean said.

"No one usually ever does like what they find when it comes to pasts like yours brother." Mimir said.

"Maybe." Sean said before he stood up before heading into camp.

Over the last two years more half gods had joined as well with the intentions of stopping their parents from the horrors they unleashed on the world.

"Hey Kruger." Reznov said walking up to him.

"Hey Reznov. You know where Chiron is?" Sean asked.

"I think he's training the new batch." Reznov said as they went to find him.

They found him and Luke training the new members of Avalar along with Julia.

"Chiron." Sean said getting his attention.

"Ah Kruger. You're just in time. You can help train our new recruits." Chiron said.

"I'm not here for training. I need to talk to you in private." Sean said making him raise an eyebrow.

"Very well." Chiron said as they walked off.

"Wonder What thats about." Luke said. (Sora You do realize Luke Redeemed himself in the last book by killing himself to kill Cronos and asked Percy to make sure no one took the same path as him. I don't just do things at random when making people good or Evil without a reason.)

"Ah Who knows." Reznov said.

Minutes later

"You're leaving?" Chiron asked.

"I feel ready enough to take on anyone who comes my way. I've been away from home for too long and my family. It's time I go home after two years." Sean said.

"You realize outside these walls you'll be targeted once they learn you've returned. The barrier your mother placed around here is the only thing protecting you." Chiron said.

"I know...But eventually I'm gonna have to face them. I originally left home to find out who I was and where I came from. I long since found that out. My mother turned me into a living weapon." Sean said.

"It's not that simple." Chiron said.

"Well she's not here to tell me otherwise so I'll stick with my opinion and my father was just trying to protect me. It's time I go home. Where I belong." Sean said making him nod.

"Your always free to come back anytime you choose." Chiron said.

"Thanks. Maybe I'll bring them back someday to show them where I've been these last two years." Sean said before leaving.

Later

"Your leaving?" Luke asked.

"Ah I've been away from home for long enough as it is. Besides it isn't like you'll never see me again." Sean said getting his things.

"Yeah but still." Reznov said.

"Look when I left home it was to get answers as to who I was and where I came from and When. I got my answers 2 years ago. Only reason I stayed is to get the training since clearly like Chiron said they won't leave me alone. This way I'll have a chance to protect my family." Sean said.

"Well...I can't blame you for that." Luke said.

"Besides you guys can visit me at the South. Might need to get used to the cold but it's not too bad." Sean said taking out a pearl. "Now how does this work again?" Sean asked Luke.

"Just step on it and picture where you wanna go." Luke said.

"Thanks. If you guys ever want to visit feel free." Sean said stepping on it before he vanished.

"Welp, I guess I'm back to being the strongest here." Reznov said making Julia roll her eyes while Luke snickered.

Meanwhile

Korra was heading to the kennels where Naga was at.

Over the last two years she had trained even harder than she had before.

All in the hopes that she would one day find Sean and bring him home.

While she was sad he left she began to see why he did. Not knowing who you were and where you came from would make anyone leave to find answers.

Arriving at the Kennels she smiled seeing Naga who rushed to her before licking her.

"Well, At least I still have you Naga." Korra said making her whine knowing what she was referring to. "I would give anything to see Sean again after two years." Korra said.

"Would a hug suffice?"

Korra widened her eyes before slowly turning seeing him leaning on the wall with a smile.

"Cause I would really appreciate that." Sean said.

"Sean!" Korra yelled running to him before pulling him into a hug making him smile as he held her close.

"I really missed you." Sean said making her smile as Naga rushed to him and started licking him making him laugh. "I missed you too Naga." Sean said.

"Where have you been for two years?" Korra asked.

"Training." Sean said before she noticed his armor and his increased muscles and the red mark on his face.

"Whoa. Nice new look." Korra said making him chuckle.

"Yeah I like the armor too." Sean said.

"Whats with the Mark though?" Korra asked referring to the Red Mark on his face.

"My father had something similar a long time ago and decided to have it on me. I think it looks good." Sean said making her smile.

"Wait you know who your parents were?" Korra asked.

"I found someone who knew them. Remember that thing that called me a Spartan? Turns out Spartans are known as the Greatest warriors in all of the world. And my father was one of them." Sean said.

"Really? How come I've never heard about them?" Korra asked.

"The fours nations are more isolated from the rest of the world. I found some pretty interesting things on my journey and made some good friends. And." Sean said pulling out his Leviathan Axe. "Got some cool weapons." Sean said.

"Whoa." Korra said inspecting it. "Got anything else?" Korra asked.

"I like her she's very curious." Mimir said.

"Who said that?" Korra asked looking around.

"Don't freak out." Sean said pulling Mimir's head out.

"Oh what the?" Korra asked disturbed.

"Mimir...Say hi." Sean said.

"Hi, I'm Mimir. Smartest man alive." Mimir said making her blink.

"A talking decapitated head? Really?" Korra asked looking at him.

"Well, at least you didn't scream like Julia did. She smacked me in the head for that." Sean said making her giggle.

"Is that all?" Korra asked.

"Uh one more thing." Sean said using Magic to bring out some jade dragon out before Sean flicked the head making it crumble apart before a real dragon serpent was seen.

"AH! You know how much I hate that spell!" The Dragon said making Korra snicker.

"Dojo you bring that shit on yourself when you run your mouth." Sean said. (Dojo from Xiaolin Showdown)

"Where did you find him?" Korra asked amused.

"I found him in an old temple in that Jade and freed him. And Chiron taught me how to use the same spell on him incase he runs his mouth which is a lot." Sean said making her giggle.

"Whatever...Brrr! It is freezing. Since when did Avalar turn cold?" Dojo asked.

"Avalar?" Korra asked.

"It's where I was training for two years. We're not there anymore. We're in the South Pole." Sean said.

"Oh great. Take me a reptile to a place I hate." Dojo said annoyed.

"I could always turn you back into Jade." Sean said making him freeze.

"No I'm good. Cold is ok I love cold." Dojo said making Korra giggle.

"Well, Mom and Dad will be happy to see you again. So we might as well go see them." Korra said.

"Yeah." Sean said as they all left.

Arriving back at the house however they saw Tonraq arguing with Unalaq.

"Oh great. The one person I don't want to see." Sean said making Korra nod. After Sean left she told her Uncle she never wanted to see him again since he was the reason Sean left to begin with.

"I want you gone...NOW!" Tonraq said.

"When are you gonna realize that thing is a threat?" Unalaq asked.

"He's not a thing. He's part of this family and he's gone because of you." Senna said.

"He was never part of your family." Unalaq said before Sean's Axe nearly hit his feet making him gasp in surprise.

"I'm more part of it than you are." Sean said gaining their attention seeing him with Korra and Naga before calling the axe back to his hand before putting it on his back.

"Sean?" Senna asked.

"Hey guys." Sean said making her rush to him and pulled him into a hug making him smile.

"I'm so happy you're ok." Senna said happy he was alive.

"I know. I'm happy to be home." Sean said as Unalaq glared at him while Sean did the same.

"Your still alive?" Unalaq asked.

"Wow kid." Dojo said slithering towards Unalaq. "I always thought you were over exaggerating about this guy but now I see you were right about him." Dojo said.

"I'm supposed to listen to this Gecko?" Unalaq asked.

"Uh oh." Sean said alarmed.

"Oh dear." Mimir said.

"GECKO!" Dojo yelled offended before he started swirling around before growing in size shocking the others minus Sean and Mimir before Dojo breathed fire and glared at Unalaq. "Don't EVER call me a Gecko!" Dojo yelled. (I love this line so much!)

"Uh...My mistake." Unalaq said.

"HAHAHAHA! Thats the one thing you don't want to call him!" Sean said laughing making him glare.

"You two have no idea what he is." Unalaq said.

"You mean the God Slayer?" Sean asked shocking him that he knew. "I met someone who told me the truth. About why I was in that temple." Sean said.

"Then you know you are a threat to the natural order." Unalaq said.

"You call this natural order?" Sean asked throwing an orb into the air before images of the gods cruelty was seen shocking Korra and her family while Unalaq remained indifferent. "The Gods became corrupted 10,000 years ago. I'm the only one who can not only kill them but absorb their powers to prevent it from running wild causing chaos." Sean said.

"All the more reason you need to be put down. What the gods do Corrupted or not is their business." Unalaq said making Tonraq glare at him.

"I'm starting to see why your wife committed suicide." Sean said shocking him at that remark. (In this story since theres nothing known about her)

"Sean thats over the line." Tonraq said.

"He's crossed it several times. I'm just returning the favor. Remind me again how did she die? Slitting her wrists or hanging herself?" Sean asked making Unalaq growl. "Or wait was it drowning herself in the spirit water to purify herself of your sick twisted presence?" Sean mocked making him grow more enraged.

"Thats enough." Tonraq said.

"Or maybe it was those little freaks she gave birth to that made her kill herself seeing they would be monsters just like you." Sean said.

"Sean thats enough. Please." Senna said.

"Fine. Just stating the obvious facts. How anyone fell in love with a monster like him is beyond me." Sean said turning to leave making Unalaq growl in rage before water bending him which he dodged the first strike before a second aimed at his face.

"URGH!" Sean yelled as blood flew in the air as he crashed to the ground holding his right eye making Korra gasp as she and her mother rushed to him.

Thats when Members of the White Lotus surrounded Unalaq making him growl.

"Ugh." Sean groaned holding his right eye as blood came out as Senna and Korra helped him up before he moved his hand showing a deep scar on the skin but the eye was undamaged. (Basically the Scar Kratos has on his right eye)

"Whoa. And I thought..." Dojo tried to say before he turned to Jade.

"I'm gonna kill you for that." Sean said pulling out his axe making him grin ready to fight.

"Thats enough." Sokka said walking to them.

"Stay out of this. This is between me and the God Slayer." Unalaq said.

"I said thats..." Sokka tried to say before Sean charged at Unalaq before slamming his Axe down which he dodged but it created a large crater which shocked him before Sean breathed white fire at him making him use water bending to block it only for Sean to smash through it with ease before head butting him hard making him dizzy before Sean grabbed his left arm and twisted it making Unalaq yell in pain.

"I'm going to enjoy this." Sean said aiming his axe at his face.

"Thats enough." Tonraq said as Sean stopped. "He's not worth it." Tonraq said making Sean growl as he glared at Unalaq who sweated before Sean let go making him sigh in relief.

"AHHH!" Sean yelled as he swung his axe into his back.

"AHHHHH!" Unalaq yelled pain.

"Let that be warning. Screw with me again and next time I'll cut your fucking head right off." Sean said making him glare before the White Lotus took him away as Sean held his eye.

"Lets go see my sister about that eye." Sokka said leading them away.

Later

"OW!" Sean yelled as Katara was healing him.

"Honestly. Not even an hour back and you get injured." Katara said.

"Don't blame me. Blame that son of a bitch Unalaq. I had enough of his crap." Sean said.

"So where have you been for the last two years?" Tonraq asked.

"I was in a place called Avalar. They help train people like me." Sean said.

"You mean other God Slayers?" Korra asked.

"Close. Everyone there is a half god. Children of gods." Sean said shocking them. "Yeah I didn't believe it either until they showed me a few things. My mother was the one who made the place and she was a god." Sean said.

"What was her name?" Korra asked.

"Athena. Goddess of Wisdom, War and Strategy." Sean said.

"Oh so thats where you get it from." Korra said grinning making him snort in amusement.

"Honestly lad I'm surprised you didn't come back sooner." Mimir said.

"Uh who said that?" Senna asked making Korra snicker.

"Um...I'm about to show you something I already showed Korra. Please do not scream." Sean said.

"And I would scream because?" Senna asked before Sean took Mimir's head out. "Oh." Senna said disturbed.

"Why would you carry that around?" Tonraq asked.

"Mimir...Say hi." Sean said confusing them.

"Hi, I'm Mimir. Smartest man alive." Mimir said making Senna start stuttering as she tried to form words before she fainted in Tonraq's arms making Sean and Korra burst out laughing.

"At least she didn't scream!" Sean said pounding the table next to him. Thats when he looked at Katara and Sokka. "How come neither of you screamed?" Sean asked.

"We've seen enough strange things to last our lifetime." Katara said

"Fair enough." Mimir said.

Soon Senna came to after her initial shock.

"How do you find a talking head?" Senna asked.

"My friend Reznov and I went to his homeland and found Mimir merged into a tree by the Norse God Odin. Tortured him every day. Cut his head clean off and found a witch in the forest to reanimate it. Some Freedoms come at a price." Sean said.

"I'd rather be in this position than my former one dear." Mimir said.

"So you must be proud knowing knowing your mother made you so strong." Korra said making him frown.

"No." Sean said shocking her before he stood up and left.

"Sean." Senna said.

"I'd rather have a minute alone if you don't mind." Sean said.

"Clearly theres some issues." Tonraq said.

Later

Sean sat in the temple where he was found before sighing as he held his face.

"You honestly don't hate her do you?" Senna asked as she walked in.

"Give me one good reason not to. She turned me into a living weapon against my will as a baby. I didn't ask to be some god slayer." Sean said.

"Sean...I don't think it's that simple. When we found you we assumed she was dead when you were both unfrozen. When she came to she asked for you and held you. Those eyes she had were filled with love. She may have turned you into what you are but that doesn't mean thats all you were to her. Why else would she ask us to protect you?" Senna asked making him sigh. "I understand this isn't what you want to be. But maybe you were chosen for a reason. And thats something I'm thankful for. It's how we found you." Senna said making him smile lightly.

"Yeah." Sean said.

"Come on." Senna said leading him out.

Weeks later

Its been a few weeks since Sean returned to the South Pole and was back with his family once more. Korra was just happy he was finally back after 2 long years.

Right now Sean was training with members of the White Lotus to show what he had learned from Chiron at Avalar.

A member launched a fireball at him but he blocked it with his axe before slamming it down hard creating a large crack in the ground that made him split his legs uncomfortably.

This made Korra burst out laughing as she watched from the sides.

"Told you he's a lot stronger than when you last saw him." Mimir said on her side.

"Whats Avalar like?" Korra asked.

"Oh it's beautiful lass. Nice weather and a great view of a lake." Mimir said before one of the White Lotus members was throwing in the wall next to them. "Not to mention the training makes these guys look like beginners." Mimir said making her giggle.

"Very impressive." The Leader said as Sean put his axe on his back. "Truly this Chiron person trained you well for two years."

"He's trained countless legends back in the day. I was considered the best before I left." Sean said..

"I see. Perhaps you could take us there one day."

Soon enough Sean and Korra left as Sean put Mimir back on.

"That was incredible." Korra said.

"Heh. That was nothing. You should see the kind of training courses they have." Sean said.

"So I've been thinking. Maybe we should take another look at the temple." Korra said.

"I've had my fill of that place." Sean said.

"Oh come on. Who knows whats still in there." Korra said making him roll his eyes.

"Why can't I ever say no to you?" Sean asked making her grin before they rushed off.

Entering the temple they arrived where her parents found him.

"So have you ever been in here while I was gone?" Sean asked.

"Once. After you left. I thought maybe if I found some answers and found you it would be enough for you to come back." Korra said.

"Did you ever?" Sean asked.

"No. I can't understand this language on the walls and I sure as hell wasn't gonna ask my uncle after he made you run off like that." Korra said.

"I bet that pissed him off." Sean said making her grin. "And it's not a language. It's a mix of them. Take a look." Sean said showing a group of symbols. "Notice how the writing looks mixed here." Sean said.

"So it's more than one?" Korra asked.

"Aye. Athena always admired the culture of other lands back in the day just like her Norse counterpart Tyr. The Norse God of War but he used his powers to bring peace unlike her brother Ares who nows spreads constant war." Mimir said.

"Tyr was one of the few gods who remained pure from the remaining three factions." Sean said.

"Remaining three?" Korra asked.

"Like I told you before there was a war that lasted for 3,000 years after I was put on ice. Of all the gods that survived only the three factions of Greece, Norse and Egypt survived the war. And all three are corrupted. My mother was the only one who was immune in the Greece faction to whatever is infecting the gods like a plague." Sean said.

"You mean you don't know?" Korra asked.

"No. And when I was outside Avalar I looked into that a lot. Asked various people about what was going on but the story was the same. Different versions but all the same. Whatever it is though they all agree on one thing. It's pure evil." Sean said before a wall behind him came down. "Hmm?" Sean asked before he looked at the rubble before pulling out a pair of blades.

"Oh my." Mimir said.

"Whoa. What are those?" Korra asked excited.

"These are the blades of Chaos. My father once wielded these." Sean said before the whole place shook violently.

"Whoa! What just happened?" Korra asked in alarm before they rushed outside.

Only to see a large man in armor attacking the South Pole with flaming hair on his head and beard.

"Who is that?" Korra asked.

"Ares. The God of War." Sean said before he looked at the temple before he approached them.

"Not good." Mimir said.

"So the great God Slayer. Olympus has looked for you for 10,000 years. At one point we thought you were actually dead." Ares said making him glare.

"Yeah, You would. Leave now." Sean said making him laugh.

"You think can command me? The God of War?" Ares asked before Sean took out some glowing green gem.

"Oh boy I hope this works." Sean said.

"Whats that gonna do?" Korra asked as he handed her Mimir.

"This." Sean said said as it glowed before Sean started growing making her mouth drop.

"Oh...My...God." Korra said.

"A little something the same person who reanimated my head gave him months ago from his last visit." Mimir said as Sean was the same size as Ares who glared.

"You still just a mortal. Every bit as weak like your father as the day he begged me to save his life!" Ares yelled.

"Korra!" Tonraq yelled as he and Senna rushed to her before seeing them.

"Oh my." Senna said.

"I'm not the same man as my father was." Sean said taking out his axe. "The son of the monster you created 10,000 years ago has returned...To kill you." Sean said glaring at him.

"You have no idea what a true monster is Kruger." Ares said before claws started coming out of his back with flames shocking everyone. "Your final lesson is at hand...Last son of Sparta." Ares said before Sean slammed his Axe into him making him growl before Sean kicked him back.

"We'll see about that." Sean said as they fought one another.

"This isn't good." Mimir said.

"No faith?" Korra asked.

"I have faith but Ares is considered one of the strongest gods left in the world for a reason." Mimir said as Sean was kicked into the cliff.

"Prepare to join your family Spartan!" Ares yelled before Sean kicked him back.

Thats when Sean's axe was incased in Ice before slamming it down making ice spikes in the ground which Ares tried to dodge before they launched at him hitting his armor but shattered making Ares roar as he tried to stop them.

"BEG FOR YOUR LIFE MORTAL!" Ares roared before Sean threw his axe at him in the leg making him growl in pain before it flew back to Sean's hands.

"You have caused enough suffering in the world Ares." Sean said punching him in the face making him groan before Sean slammed him down hard.

"Chiron may have taught you well...But it pales in comparison to the teachings of a god!" Ares roared before blasting him with fire only for Sean to breath white fire at it blocking both attacks. "So you've tapped into some of your powers after all. But you haven't even scratched the surface. Join me and I will teach you everything and the world will be ours." Ares said.

"Fuck off!" Sean yelled ramming him into the wall hard before grabbing him by the neck as both fought for control.

"RELENT! YOU HAVE ALREADY LOST!" Ares yelled as his hands were engulfed in purple energy before grabbing Sean and slammed him into the wall as it started engulfing Sean's body.

"Not good! He's trying to corrupt him." Mimir said shocking them.

Sean growled as his body was engulfed in darkness as his eyes closed.

Thats when he found himself in a pure white place.

"Where...Am I?" Sean asked.

"A place to talk."

Sean turned before seeing the one person he didn't expect to see.

His mother.

"YOU! This is all your fault! If you hadn't made me into a living weapon!" Sean yelled.

"Sean please...It's not like that. I didn't turn you into anything. You were born with these powers." Athena said shocking him.

"What?" Sean asked.

"Like Tonraq and Senna who wanted to raise a normal family your father and I wanted the same by taking you out of the lands of Greece. To give you a happy life. But the oracle Aletheia foretold of a savior who would bring balance back to the world. A child born from a goddess of wisdom and a former servant of war. We knew right away she was talking about you." Athena said.

"So...You didn't give me the power to absorb theirs?" Sean asked.

"No. And I truly wish it didn't have to be you. All I ever wanted was to make you happy. But we never got the chance. But Tonraq and Senna gave you a better life than I could hope. For that I am grateful. They made you into a good man." Athena said.

"Then how do I save them? Whatever corrupted Ares is trying to do the same to me." Sean said.

"Reach deep down. Unleash the true god within you. You posses the power of thousands of gods of Earth. Unleash it." Athena said as he hands glowed before touching his head. "This kind of power takes centuries to master. But for now you'll have all of it to defeat Ares." Athena said as they both vanished.

Ares laughed as more of his corruption spread to Sean before his body was engulfed in white flames.

"WHAT!" Ares roared before the skies lit up with lightning before the ice started moving as Sean opened his eyes showing his eyes were completely green and glowing as he growled at him before the elements started swirling around Ares above him making him widen his eyes in fear before it struck him down.

"AHHHHHHH!" Ares roared in pain.

When it was over Sean's eyes returned to normal before grabbing his axe and approached Ares who staggered.

"Remember Kruger...It was I who saved your father...In his time of greatest need." Ares said.

"Oh I'm well aware of that. It's the last thing you tricked him into doing that grants your death." Sean said.

"That night." Ares said remembering it all too well. "I was trying to make your father a great warrior." Ares said making him glare.

"He already was before he ever met you." Sean said moving to strike only for Ares to stab Sean in the chest making his armor break apart as Sean slammed his Axe into his chest deeply making him roar in pain while Sean growled as he pulled his axe out.

"AHHHHHHH!" Ares roared as blood exploded from his wound before falling backwards.

And with that Sean had begun his destiny. The legend of the God Slayer had begun.

Ares's body started glowing before turning to energy as it merged with Sean's body making him groan before he began to shrink before falling to his knees and collapsed as the others rushed to him.

"OW!" Sean yelled.

"Oh this is serious." Katara said as she did her best to heal him.

"How do you feel?" Sokka asked.

"I GOT A FUCKING HOLE IN MY CHEST! WHAT DO YOU FUCKING THINK!" Sean asked making him flinch.

"Sorry." Sokka said as Sean pulled the same pearls he used to get here.

"What are those?" Korra asked.

"You're about to see." Sean said crushing them before they all vanished.

Meanwhile

"Ah things aren't the same anymore." Reznov said to Julia.

"Well..." Julia tried before the others appeared.

"Whoa!" Reznov yelled in surprise before seeing Sean with the hole in his chest. "The hell happened to you Kruger?" Reznov asked.

"Just get the fucking healers." Sean said as he rushed off.

Later

Sean groaned as he was in the medical tent.

"You actually did it. You killed a god." Reznov said.

"Yeah, yeah. Like I fucking care. You know I hate fame." Sean said.

"Oh yeah we all know that. Still it's nice to see ya again after weeks away." Reznov said making him chuckle before groaning.

Soon enough Sean was allowed out provided he took it easy.

"So this is where you've been for two years. It's beautiful." Senna said.

"Yeah. It was home for a while." Sean said

Sean soon arrived at his home finding Korra looking at the lake.

"It's beautiful." Korra said making him smile.

"Yeah. This place has a lot of good memories." Sean said sitting next to her.

"So how do you feel?" Korra asked.

"Sore. But the healers and Katara said I should be good in a couple weeks. Never imagined I would get stabbed like that." Sean said making her giggle.

"Well, at least you actually took down a god. Thats something to boost about." Korra said making him snort.

"Oh please. You know I'm not into that shit." Sean said before she leaned into him making him smile.

"Still you did good. I'm proud of you." Korra said making him chuckle.

Later

Everyone at the camp was celebrating Sean's victory.

"HAHAHAHA!" Reznov laughed.

"Seems your very popular around here." Korra teased making him roll his eyes.

"Whatever." Sean said before Aphrodite's daughters pulled him up.

"Why don't we go celebrate in private." One said making Korra's eyes twitch before earth bending them into the air making them scream.

"Beat it tramps." Korra said as Sean sat back down.

"Thank you. Ever since I turned 15 they never leave me alone." Sean said making her grin.

"Well, they better learn before I kick their asses." Korra said making him chuckle.

"You two have raised him well. His mother would be thankful." Chiron said making Senna and Tonraq smile.

"We were just happy he was part of our lives." Senna said.

"Hey Chiron. I got a question." Sean said.

"What is it?" Chiron asked.

"What did Ares mean when he called me the last son of Sparta." Sean said making everyone freeze which he and his family noticed. "Am I missing something here?" Sean asked making him sigh.

"Sean...Theres something I should have told you when you first arrived." Chiron said.

"Whats going on?" Sean asked.

"Shortly after you vanished...Zeus and the rest of Olympus...Destroyed Sparta. So Ares spoke the truth when he called you the last Son of Sparta." Chiron said shocking him and the others.

"What? Why?" Sean asked.

"Because of your father. It became a concern that if one Spartan could become so powerful that others may follow. So in fear they destroyed it all." Chiron said making him frown before walking away.

"Are there really none left but him?" Tonraq asked.

"I'm afraid so. He's all thats left of the greatest warriors on Earth." Chiron said.

Korra followed Sean back to his home seeing him lying down.

"Are...You ok?" Korra asked concerned making him sigh.

"Yeah I'm all right. It's just...Every day I learn just how cruel they've become because something corrupted them. And I still have no idea what it is." Sean said as she sat next to him.

"I know your upset about learning your the last of your people...But you still have me and my family." Korra said making him smile.

"I know. And thats something I'm thankful for." Sean said as they looked at the stars.

Senna went to the house to make sure Sean was all right.

When she arrived she smiled seeing Sean and Korra asleep together.

"Those two are gonna end up together someday." Senna said as she left.

Next morning

"Ah." Sean said stretching as he had a new set of armor on.

"No wonder you stayed for two years." Korra said looking at the lake.

"I mostly just stayed for the training. My original reason for leaving was to just learn who I was and where I came from. Once I found out the truth I just wanted to come back to the South." Sean said.

"So why didn't you?" Korra asked.

"Chiron told me even if I didn't want to embrace what I was the Gods would still come after me since I'm a threat to them. So I trained for two years to be ready incase they came after me." Sean said.

"Why are they after you exactly? I didn't exactly understand that." Korra said.

"Cause I'm the only one who can not only kill a god but also absorb their powers and what they represent. Contrary to what many believe and as much as I want gag on this your uncle would agree with me in saying there are consequences to killing a god if you can't absorb their powers. Otherwise it runs wildly causing nothing but chaos." Sean said.

"Oh so thats why you absorbed Ares when you killed him." Korra said.

"And purged him of whatever was corrupting him. But never mind that now. It's time to go home." Sean said as they walked outside.

Walking to the center of Camp Sean saw Brok and Sindri.

"What...HEY! You reek of foreign magic kid." Brok said.

"Mostly because of these." Sean said pulling out the blades of chaos.

"The blades of Chaos. Heh. Kid I'll cut you a deal. My brother and I will upgrade those something special." Brok said.

"Considering how these look like they're about to rust to dust. I would take it." Korra said as Sean handed them to him.

"There you two are." Tonraq said as the rest of the family walked to them.

"Ready to head back?" Sokka asked.

"In a second." Sean said as Brok and Sindri did their work.

"What are they doing?" Senna asked.

"What they do best. They're upgrading those blades of his since they're extremely old." Mimir said.

"Dwarves have a talent when it comes to weapons and armor. Where do you think this came from?" Sean asked holding his axe.

"They made that?" Korra asked.

"Yup." Sean said before Brok handed them back showing the metal looked like new with Nordic runes on the blades. "Very impressive." Sean said.

"If you find any other god like weapons send them over our way. We'll make them even stronger kid." Brok said.

"I'll keep that in mind." Sean said before pulling out the pearls again.

"So how does this work?" Tonraq asked.

"Like this." Sean said crushing them before they vanished.

Later

Arriving back in the South they saw the people rebuilding after Ares attacked.

"Home sweet home." Korra said making Sean smirk.

"I'm just looking forward to relaxing after all this." Sean said.

"I don't think so." Unalaq said making his presence known.

"Oh my GOD!" Sean yelled annoyed.

"The only thing you'll be doing is facing execution for killing the God of War." Unalaq said.

"Unalaq!" Tonraq yelled.

"Wait a second." Sean said getting their attention. "How did you know I killed Ares? No one even knows who that is. These lands don't have gods. So how did you know?" Sean asked making him frown.

"I don't need to explain to the likes of you." Unalaq said making him glare.

"You brought him here! Theres no other way you would have known who that was! Do you have any idea what he could have done to the south?" Sean questioned as Tonraq glared at his brother.

"All they wanted was to kill you since you're a threat to the natural order. So yes I led them here. Like I told Tonraq before. You need to be removed. And since he was misguided I had to take matters into my own hands." Unalaq said making him glare more.

"Son of a bitch. You sent that wave on me when I left. You tried to drown me!' Sean yelled.

"What?" Korra asked.

"As soon as I left the South a large wave crashed into me and nearly drowned me." Sean said making her glare.

"I did. And now since you're in a vulnerable position." Unalaq said.

"Don't even think about it." Tonraq said.

"Now I really do see why your wife killed herself. Your a sick bastard." Sean said making him growl in anger before going on the attack but Sean dodged before launching chains at his feet making him gasp before Sean swung him in the air before slamming him back down hard making him groan in pain.

"Even in a wounded position like I am now I'm still stronger than you. So heres the deal. You're gonna leave and don't bother us ever again or we tell the Tribe what you did and they'll turn on you. And the united forces will no doubt side with us because of Tenzin since he's not a short sighted moron like you." Sean said making him glare.

"Avatar Korra as the one who is meant to keep balance you must eliminate him now!" Unalaq said.

"Screw you. I can't believe we're related." Korra said.

"I've said that since the day I met him." Sean said as Unalaq stood up and glared before Sean took out his blades of Chaos as they burned. "LEAVE." Sean said in warning making him growl.

"Fine. But this is far from over. Be certain of that." Unalaq said.

"Run back to your wife's grave." Sean said making him growl in rage before continuing to leave.

"Asshole." Sean said before groaning as his side bled.

"Lets get inside." Senna said.

Later

Sean sat outside looking at the stars with a smile.

"Some things never change." Korra said sitting next to him.

"HMPH! One of the benefits to living in the South is the view." Sean said making her giggle.

"Yeah...I really missed you in those two years." Korra said.

"I know. I wanted to come back to check in let you all know I was ok. But Chiron said it wasn't a good idea at the time. But I'm back now." Sean said as she leaned on his shoulder as they enjoyed the stars.
