It was the night of the house party and Daisy was in her room gathering her stuff for her 'sleepover'. She wasn't completely lying to her dad, she was staying over at Lily's but she just happen to be going somewhere else that night. Luckily the word of the party hadn't gotten around to the police station so Alec had no idea about it.
She was a little nervous. She hadn't gotten drunk before and was wondering what it will be like. Everyone in her year was going to be there and she prayed that she didn't get too drunk to embarrass herself. Not only was there going to be alcohol but likely there would be drugs. Most of the popular boys did weed in her school and she was surprised the police hadn't caught them yet.
Daisy packed her bag with her clothes and makeup, throwing her outfit for the party. She decided on a red skater dress with straps and her white converse. The dress was short and reached just below her arse, showing her long legs off. Her friends had similar outfits and she was excited to get dressed up.
She packed her charger and a few other bits, zipping her bag up. Her phone buzzed on the bedside table and she grabbed it, slumping down on the bed.
What time is your party, can I see you before xx
Daisy had promised her dad she could take her to Lily's house. The walk was long enough and she didn't fancy lugging her bag the whole way.
My dad's taking me, Lily's house is on the other side of town so probs can't meet, sorry baby xxx

Daisy couldn't help but blush reading her conversation with Jay. She had to admit she had fallen for him. He made her feel special and cherished and as if she was the only person he ever thought about. She was thinking about telling her friends about him, but only if they could keep it a secret. If word got out about them and her dad found out she would be in serious trouble.
Daisy grabbed her bag and headed out to the kitchen where her dad was stood on his phone, face looking serious. He was so engrossed in his phone it took three times of saying his name to get his attention.
"Yeah" he looked up and saw she was ready to leave.
"I'm ready to go" she said and he threw his phone on the counter before grabbing his keys.
"Come on then".
"Remember what I said, don't go out past midnight and don't answer the door to strangers" Alec repeated and Daisy rolled her eyes off to the side.
"Yes dad you said last time" she groaned.
"What are you having for tea?" He asked.
"I think we're just going to order a takeaway, are you working tonight" she asked and he nodded.
"Aye, going to head in and do some bits that need finishing, if you need anything just give me a call all right, even if you want picking up, I'll come straight there" Daisy chuckled softly.
"Dad, we'll be fine, we're just going to spend the night gossiping… what time you working till?" She asked with hesitation. Daisy was worried that if something happened at the party and the police had to come, would her dad be called round. What if someone got hurt really badly and they needed to open a case or what if they stormed the house because of drugs.
"Not sure… why?" He asked.
"Just wondering that's all. Don't work too hard okay" Daisy smiled, hoping her dad wouldn't find her being suspicious.
"I think that's about nearly impossible for me Dais" he mumbled softly as he pulled up to Lily's house.
"All right well have a nice time, stay safe yeah, text me if you need anything" he said once more and Daisy nodded, leaning over to press a swift kiss to his cheek.
"I will, see you tomorrow" she said and bounced out of the car, giving a short wave as she ran up to the front door.
She knew he was still there watching her until she entered the house, hearing the car drive off only when the door had shut.
"Oh my god, I cannot wait for tonight" Lily screamed with excitement and pulled Daisy upstairs.
The girls sat in her bedroom, getting ready for the party which started at 8.
"What do you guys think, blue or red?" Chloe held up a top of blue and one of red, not deciding which one to wear.
"Red one, makes your boobs look massive" Ella commented as she stared in the mirror applying her mascara.
"Do you guys think we'll kiss anyone tonight" Lily asked.
"Who knows, one of us might get lucky, Lewis Andrews is so fit I would literally let him do anything to me" Ella said back.
"You know who I fancy, Jake Hampson, I like his hair, how it's always so messy" Chloe said.
"He's a druggie though, he's always high in lesson I don't even know how he made it into sixth form" Daisy grimaced.
"You know who else is good looking, Joe, he'd be good for you Daisy he likes blondes" Lily pointed and Daisy laughed.
"Yeah right, we could have any girl he wants, why would he want me when my dad is literally the man who could send him to prison" Daisy joked and the girls giggled.
"Come on you have to get with someone, when you're drunk you'll be more confident" Chloe whined.
Daisy bit her lip and turned to face her friends. She knew she had to say something otherwise they'll be banging on about it all night.
"Well unfortunately there won't be any kissing for me" she said and the girls looked at her in confusion.
"And why not" Ella asked.
"Well… because I may have a… boyfriend" she whispered the word and the three girls erupted in a scream.
"What the fuck are you being serious Daisy, when did this happen, who is he, why are you only telling us now?" The questions came pouring out and Daisy held her hands up to stop them.
"Whoa, one at a time… okay we met a few months ago when we were in town, I dropped my purse and he found it and brought it back to me" she couldn't help but smile just talking about Jay.
"Let me see a picture" Chloe tugged on her arm, forcing Daisy to get her phone out.
"I don't have a picture of him but he's really nice, his name is Jay and he's 6ft 1, he works full time and… I really like him".
"I can't believe we are only just hearing this now, why did you keep it secret?" Lily asked with a slight scowl.
"Well I wanted to make sure it was actually something and not just a conversation with some guy who found my purse, it's not that I didn't think you guys could keep it a secret but I didn't want my dad knowing, he's been so overbearing it's actually annoying at the minute and I knew if he found out about this he would freak, especially since the whole photo thing happened with those boys at school and Michael Lucas went to the same school as us, he's been on edge ever since" Daisy sighed.
"Is that why you didn't come out with us the other day, you were meeting you mystery man" Ella wiggled her brows.
"Well yes… and plus my dad is so annoying at the minute like I said" Daisy went back to doing her makeup as the girls continued to squeal.
"Jesus I can't believe this, I was all ready to set you up with a boy tonight but you have a man, I guess that leaves more for us then" Lily grinned.
"You lot can have them, all the boys are either druggies or weirdos, except for our friends" Daisy laughed.
The girls had finally gotten ready. Lily was dressed in skinny ripped jeans and a black see through top with a bralet underneath. Her long brown hair was curled and she wore big hoop earrings. Chloe was dressed in the red top and a black skirt with her blonde hair half up half down. Ella wore a black dress with Adidas superstars with her light brown hair wavy and Daisy wore her red dress with her white converse, her blonde hair cascading down her shoulders.
Anyone would think these girls looked over the age of twenty one. Their faces were full of makeup and they all took turns putting on the Marc Jacobs perfume Lily had from her birthday.
"Girls I have to say we look amazing, come on picture time" Lily grabbed her phone and the group took picture after picture after picture until they were satisfied. It was seven forty five and the girls needed to make their way to the party as it was at least a twenty minute walk.
"Come on lets get going" Chloe grabbed her bag as did the rest and they ventured out into the cold night. The wind blew their hair everywhere and they groaned.
"God sake, stupid wind" Ella moaned.
"I just realised we didn't have anything to eat" Lily said.
"Oh shit, maybe he'll have snacks there" Daisy replied. She only suddenly felt hungry then and her stomach growled.
"Bloody hope so" Ella laughed and the four of them trekked over the house on the beach.
