After a long walk, which included Olaf being impaled by a spike of ice; 'Not a good sign' William thought. They came to a sheer cliff face.

"What now?" Anna asked.

Kristoff looked up. "It's too steep. I've only got one rope and you don't know how to climb mountains."

"Says who?" Anna asked as she began climbing the rocks at the base of the cliff.

Olaf was walking away, gaining William's curiosity. After all, he was the one guiding them to the Queen. William drew his sword as they walked through a crack in the rock face. When they emerged on the other side his eyes went wide in amazement.

"Hey, Kristoff," William called. The ice harvester turned to face him. He pointed toward the crack. "It's this way."

"How do you know?" Kristoff asked.

"Well, the ice staircase for one. And wait till you see the rest."

"Ha, ha!" Anna exclaimed, calling out "Catch me." She called out as she threw herself back, falling into the ice harvester's arms.

They stood in awe at the base of the stairs.

"Amazing!" William said.

"Now that's ice," Kristoff paused, "I may cry."

"Go ahead. I won't judge," the Princess said as she ascended the stairs.

When they reached the door; Kristoff still stared in astonishment at the palace, Anna knocked.

"It opened...That's a first." She turned to her companions. "You should probably wait out here. The last time I introduced her to a guy she froze everything."

"But, oh come on. It's a palace of ice! Ice is my life!"

As the little snowman was about to walk in Anna said, "You to Olaf."

"Me?"

"Just, give us a minute."

William said, "Well she already knows me. So, I'm coming in too."

Anna sighed. Because Elsa and William seemed to get along well enough, along with the fact that he seemed to have no intention of waiting anyway, she guessed that would be okay.

They looked around inside.

"Whoa," Anna exclaimed.

"Incredible," William said in astonishment.

The Princess called out "Elsa," as William called "Your Majesty?"

The Queen walked to the top of the stairs in the foyer.

"Whoa!" Anna exclaimed.

"Wow!" William said, stunned by the queen's beauty.

"Elsa, you look. Different. It's a good different. And this place. It's amazing."

"It certainly is," William agreed.

"Thank you," She said, "I never knew what I was capable of."

"I'm so sorry about what happened," Anna said as she began to climb the steps toward her sister. "If I had known..."

William could see the fear on Elsa's face as she backed away, saying. "No, no, it's okay. You don't have to apologize. But you should probably go. Please."

William took Anna's hand. He didn't want things to get out of control again like at the ball. He guided her back down the steps. She turned to face him. "Anna, may I say something?"

"Okay."

He looked up toward the Queen. "Good to see you again Elsa." She smiled slightly; He continued. "Elsa, I understand your worry about your powers, but trust me they aren't as rare as you think. I've seen a lot of magic. In fact, your cousin Rapunzel has magical powers. Healing, restorative powers."

That seemed to interest the Queen. "Really?"

"Yes. She's learned a lot about magic."

Just then, they were interrupted; "Hi! I'm Olaf and I like warm hugs!"

"Olaf?" A very surprised Elsa exclaimed.

"You built me. Remember that?"

"And your alive?"

"Um, I think so."

William continued. "An example of the amazing things you can do."

"I'm amazing?" Olaf asked.

With a wide smile William said, "You sure are Olaf."

Then they all heard. "It's incredible! I've never seen anything like it."

William introduced him. "Elsa, this is Kristoff, the guide that helped us get here in one piece." He turned to him. "What do ya think of the place Kristoff?"

"It's amazing, beautiful."

Elsa chuckled a little. "Thank you."

He looked up to where she stood. "You're really an artist your Majesty."

William got back to the point. "Yes, you certainly are. This palace is as amazing as it's designer." A slight hint of red came to the Queens face at the compliment.

"Elsa, I know you're worried about controlling your powers. It can be done."

Elsa looked down, caught between hope and fear. "How?"

"I've got a guess about that. And you have plenty of help; from me and Rapunzel, from Eugene, Anna, Olaf, our new friend Kristoff and lots of others who want to support you, help you." He then said. "And your Kingdom needs us all."

"Why?" A sudden look of worry came to her face.

"The winter you started here is effecting Arendelle to. Let us help you save your people."

A look of desperation came to Elsa's face. So much was going through her mind.

"I don't want them to suffer because of me, but what if they blame me. This was my fault."

"And mine." Anna added, a note of shame in her voice.

"You'll both have me, Cassandra, Eugene and Kristoff with you. If it gets bad, we'll get out of there."

Elsa looked toward Arendelle. The wind was whipping up again; A reflection of the woman who'd produced it. There was no choice. 'No choice,' she thought as a tear came to her eye. She had to take the risk.

"Okay, I'll go with you," She said as she began to walk down the steps.

Anna's enthusiasm was tempered by the distressed look on her sister's face.

They stepped outside, over the bridge when Kristoff reminded them of the first problem. "We don't have a sled anymore."

In hushed tones, Elsa said to herself, "Focus, you can do this." She spun her hands and a four person sled made of ice appeared. "It may not be the most comfortable ride, but it'll get us back to Arendelle."

"Remarkable Elsa," William said with a smile. He just might have seen the hint of a smile in return.

William and Kristoff helped the Princess up to the back seats. Then William lifted Olaf up with them. After he took the seat next to Kristoff the ice harvester called out. "Hang on, remember we like to go fast."

Back in Arendelle Hans whispered to one of his guards, sending him to meet with the Duke. A change of plans was needed. In the meantime, he would need to continue playing to the Prince charming image. 'Hearts and minds.' He told himself. 'And in time, the throne.'
