The next morning Edd woke up bright and early, filled with vim and vigor for his upcoming meeting with other demons. His rest did leave him less dizzy and talking with Em left him much less stressed. His chest no longer twisted painfully and he sighed. He was still hungry but he didn't feel like he was about to pounce on the nearest food source in the same way.

He stretched. Kevin would probably be out and jogging and he'd hoped not to run into him this morning. As much as he wanted to see him it would be better for his mental health to avoid him if he wanted to be well enough to meet everyone on the Infernal circle.

He'd walk to school with Ed and Eddy but they were always late and he refused to break his perfect attendance record. They made him late once in middle school and he still hasn't completely forgiven them.

His phone beeped his text tone. Edd picked it up in confusion. No one texted this early.

Good morning, you up yet?

Edd considered ignoring Kevin's text and pretending he didn't see it but…

Good morning to you too. I indeed am.

Yes, I just finished.

Edd sighed and flopped back down. That was… a very sweet sentiment that also proded at his very tender non-humanity. Knowing Kevin never meant for it to be anything but a nice, if not a mildly flirty, offer made him feel even worse.

Edd figured he should get up and start his morning routine. Kevin's early bird tendency was actually nice. Mornings were usually rather lonely.

Edd giggled. He should have said no and told him to go on ahead but… he was in a good mood. It really was lose-lose. Letting down Kevin would definitely ruin his mood but seeing him would ruin his health.

Edd stepped outside and locked his door.

"You're looking much better." Kevin greeted. He swooped in for his new ritual cheek kiss but Edd's hands covered Kevin's mouth.

"Eh-eh." Edd said, though smiling. "We've talked about this."

Kevin pouted and Edd removed his hand. Edd could practically see the gears turning in Kevin's head to sneak a kiss and Edd wished he was more unhappy about how pleased that made him.

"You seem like you're feeling better. Did something good happen yesterday?" Kevin asked, sneaking a hand to Edd's waist, which he easily stepped away from.

"Yes, in fact. Me and Mrs. Manos caught up. She invited me over for dinner tonight."

"I didn't know you were that close to her." Kevin said, he screwed his face up. "I couldn't imagine going to a teachers house."

"Well I was her aid since sophomore year. I only left it for college prep." Though he was falling behind due to his constant fatigue, the memory of that did dampen his spirits but not for long.

Kevin smiled at Edd's more peppy demeanor. "You're already accepted to Cornell, why do you need to do college prep?"

"I'm retaking the SAT for a hopefully higher score. And I plan to CLEP out of beginner courses for fast track graduation. Besides early acceptance always comes with its rules, I have to keep my gpa at 4.0 at least."

"You're always working hard, try to rest sometimes too." Kevin brushed their hands together. This Edd seemed to find acceptable enough. Or at least enough not to pull away. Kevin counted it as a win.

"I just don't like resting. I've been told it can be pretty exhausting though." Edd said. Eddy used to complain often of how much he cared about grades. Even other advanced students used to tell him he was boring, because of it he wasn't really able to make new friends. Part of that though was definitely because he was far too secretive. Even if it was necessary, secrets didn't exactly lend well to lasting and real friendship.

"I'd call it motivating. Or maybe just hot."

Edd rolled his eyes affectionately. Kevin's attraction hadn't settled one bit in the week. In fact, it was much stronger. Edd was slowly getting used to it. Or maybe the fact he was less stressed made him better equipped to handle it.

"You're kind of a cheese ball, aren't you?" Edd teased.

Kevin put his hand to his chest, fake affronted. "I'll have you know people consider me very charming!"

"I didn't say you weren't charming. Just that you're cheesy."

Kevin grinned. "So, you do find me charming then?"

Edd smiled back. "You're pushing your luck there, Casanova."

"You do though."

Edd chuckled and covered his mouth with his hand. Kevin felt a surge of satisfaction that he put that smile on Edds face and couldn't help but take the opportunity to dip in to try and plant a cheek kiss. Edd however could sense his intent and dodged.

"Nice try." Edd said, his eyes crinkled at the corners with his smile and Kevin gave a sly one of his own.

"You know, I'm not one to turn down a challenge, I'll get that kiss one way or the other."

Edd was feeling particularly mischievous though and put his hand on Kevin's cheek, leaning up to whisper in his ear. "It's not a challenge when I've already got you beat, Barr."

Kevin shivered from his head to his toes. He wanted nothing more than to grab the sultry nerd by the hips and never let go but Edd was already out of his reach before he could get his bearings.

"You're on. If I kiss you before the end of the day I win a real one. At least 15 seconds."

Edd laughed again. It was a innocuous enough request. Besides, Edd knew he couldn't be taken by surprise. Being able to smell him and any intent would be easy. "Fine. But if I win then you have to get all A's on your upcoming exams."

"What! Come on! I don't even know if I can do that!" Kevin wasn't doing bad. He had a 3.4 gpa and relatively high sat scores but all A's?

"It's fine to admit you know you can't win." Edd said with a mocking tone.

Kevin growled. "You're on."

Kevin put his hand out for a hand shake and Edd could tell it was a trick. He put his hand in Kevin's but slipped it from his grip just before he could pull him in.

"You're not as sly as you think." Edd smirked at Kevin's disappointed frown.

They arrived at school 5 minutes and several kiss attempts later.

Edd's pleased smile didn't falter and Kevin really did wonder what could have lifted his mood so severely since yesterday.

Kevin tried once more as they parted ways and Edd dodged too easily. He was surprisingly agile but he'd known his reflexes were otherworldly. He figured he'd have to take him by surprise if he was going to win this.

It was easier said than done however, between classes they played a game of cat and mouse and Kevin wondered which he was. Edd seemed like he was just toying with him and it was fun, infuriating, and sexy as hell all at once. Edd was oddly vigilant for someone who tripped over his own feet near daily. He seemed to know exactly where Kevin was before ever seeing him and catching him off guard was near impossible.

Lunch was just as much an exercise in futility. They agreed that they couldn't get anyone else involved but Kevin had a plan. He had waited for Edd to sit down, but Edd seemed to know exactly what was going through the redheads mind because he slid in between the Eds.

"Mind if I slide in here?" Kevin asked Eddy with a hard look that said 'or else' but Eddy just took another bite of his food, unitimidated.

"There's a seat over here, my hot-headed friend." Rolf said. It was right across from Edd.

Kevin frowned and Edd shot him a coy smile. "Yes Kevin. Go sit next to Rolf. I'm having a riveting conversation with Eddy."

Eddy had his mouth full of burger and made a confused noise. "Huh-wh-"

"Don't speak with your mouth full." Edd chided without looking at him.

Kevin sighed but sat across from him heavily and took out his lunch but dropped the bag on the table when something touched his ankle. Edd was talking to Eddy about something and Eddy wasn't paying attention. Everyone else was doing something and he felt it again. The brush of someone else's foot hooking onto his ankle.

He looked back at Edd with shock. Was he teasing him? The foot trailed higher and Kevin ogled at the minx sitting there acting like he wasn't absolutely breaking apart Kevin's sanity.

The foot went higher and higher until it rested on the concrete bench between his legs.

"Are you alright Kevin?" Nazz asked.

He hadn't looked away from Edd and had gone red. This boy was going to be the death of him.

"Uh, yeah…" Kevin gulped. Edd looked at him from the corner of his eye and his small but devilish smile gave Kevin's heart a stutter.

"Are you sure? You're red."

Well two could play at this game. "I was just watching Double D." He closed his legs around the ankle. "He's looking real hot today is all."

Edd's cheeks colored and he tried hard to ignore how loud Kevin had said something so embarrassing.

Nazz looked between them and giggled. She wasn't sure exactly what game they were playing but something was going on.

Kevin casually dropped his hand into his lap and ran his fingers up Edd's pant leg, skating his fingers up and rubbed his ankle with his thumb.

Edd bit his lip and tried to retreat but Kevin didn't let him. Now that he had him on the ropes he wasn't about to let him back down.

Edd realizing this, looked away again and pushed his foot forward even more. His foot was planted far too close to Kevin's groin, furthering their game of chicken. Kevin brushed his fingers higher up Edd's pant leg and Edd froze. He hadn't realized he'd used the leg his tail was taped to. His fingers went higher still and Edd tried to pull away again, more frantic this time but Kevin's hold was too strong and his foot was in such an awkward hold he couldn't pull it back.

Edd wiggled his foot to try and shake him off but in the struggle his shoe came in contact with Kevin. He already could smell Kevin's lust from across the table but the wave of wild sexual desire made Edd realize how reckless he'd been all morning. How had he let himself play with Kevin like this?

He was instantly reminded of being told as a child not to play with his food and got quesy. Kevin let go, but the damage was done.

"I think I may need to go to the nurses office." Edd said. He was looking a little off again.

Eddy raised his eyebrow high. "Really?"

"Yeah. Would you mind walking me there?" He asked his friend.

"I can." Kevin offered immediately but Edd shot him down.

"No no. You haven't even eaten your lunch."

Eddy looked at Kevin. If Edd was making an excuse to leave something must have happened, something big. He'd never once brought up going to the nurse before. "Yeah, sure. I'll walk with you."

Once they were out of ear shot Eddy asked what was wrong.

"I may have done something stupid. But on the bright side I can actually go to the nurse now."

"Wait, we're actually going to the nurse? What about your temperature and stuff."

"She knows." Edd worried his lip and tried to decide if he should say anything but Eddy was the person he trusted most with every secret he had. "I saw her yesterday. She's also an Infernal."

"No way ." Eddy gasped. "No way!"

"Don't let her know I said anything. I haven't exactly gotten permission to tell anyone. I'm meeting up with a circle of infernal tonight."

"Holy shit dude. I'm so jealous. What kind?"

"She's a Gorgon. I don't know about anyone else though." He responded.

"That's so fucking cool. Oh man… your dad has this whole book on Gorgons he references. I'm pretty sure they must have pretty big communities but tend to live far away from people. I wonder why she's here."

"I'll ask if you can come with me. It would make me feel a lot more comfortable if you were there."

"Really? You think they'd let me come?" Eddy's eyes shone with an interest he hadn't had since their scamming days.

"I don't know, but it wouldn't hurt to ask."

They stopped in front of the door and Edd knocked before entering. He didn't want to surprise anyone.

"Eddward. It's surprising to see you here again so soon. Dizzy again? Eddy too?" No one else was in the room and just in case Edd peeked at the beds. Empty.

"A little. I got a strong smell and it made me woozy. I had to get away."

Em's eyes slid to Eddy. It was a simple enough excuse that someone who didn't know wouldn't think twice about it but the way he said it made her believe it wasn't a secret from his best friend. "He knows then?"

"Yeah. He was there when I turned. Him and Ed took care of me when it was at its worst."

Mrs. Manos looked surprised. "I've heard Succubus nest away from humans except to feed when they're first fledged."

"Except for family." Eddy added. "He hated the nest too. We tried to make one for him but blankets not being laid out made him crazy. I guess his OCD won out over any instinct." Edd didn't want to say he would hide under the bed when Ed and Eddy were gone.

"Why does he know more about you then you." The nurse asked with an impatient expression.

"Because I actually read the book he's been too afraid to read."

Edd remembered the book in his bag and mentally scolded himself for not reading it last night.

"What do you know about Gorgons?" She asked Eddy.

"Snake hair and a stunning gaze. No ones sure if the petrifying gaze was a rumor or if through breeding with humans that it got weaker. The snake type-"

"Okay, okay. I get it. You really did read up." She laughed and pushed her glasses back in place. Her smile revealed her fangs and Edd wondered how he never noticed how sharp her canines were.

"Only the Handbook de Infernal so far but I plan to read all of 's books."

"He's got quite the backlog. You'll be reading for a long time."

"I was actually wondering Mrs. Manos, sorry, Em. Could Eddy come with? I think I'd feel a lot more comfortable if I had someone familiar with me. I understand though if it's an Infernal only thing." Edd tacked on with apprehension.

"My husband and our girlfriend will be there so it's not an issue."

Edd sighed in relief and Eddy looked thrilled to bits.

"Is there anything we should know? I don't really know anything about other infernal." Edd asked.

"Well. Min and Farroe were the only ones to confirm but Rhys may or may not come." Em listed. "Min is a Dhampyr and Farroe is a Harpy."

"A Harpy? How do they hide the- you know-" Eddy made a odd flicking motion at his body to indicate feathers.

"She plucks every few weeks. Wears ponchos or other shapeless clothes when they're growing back."

"That sounds painful." Edd shuttered. He was glad that he didn't have to go that far. Taping down wings was painful and annoying enough- plucking your whole body. Yikes .

"Yeah, she can bleed a lot but we all do what we have to." Em sighed and patted her shaved head.

"Does it hurt when you cut your- er- snakes?" Edd asked.

"No, not at all. It just feels… wrong. Enough about that though. What had you slinking away to hide here?" Em asked.

"Ah." Edd blushed. "I did something stupid and teased Kevin."

"You've been doing that all week. How is today any different?" Eddy smirked.

"It's not. I just…" he really had been hadn't he? "God I'm stupid." The demon sighed and sat heavily on one of the nurse's cots. "I've been careless all day. All week. I never should have let him stay with me."

"You like the boy don't you?" Em leaned into her hand and raised an eyebrow above her dark glasses.

"Of course but I can't do anything about it. It would be irresponsible."

"Why?" Em asked. "He seems to like you quite a bit."

"But he's human ." Edd said with exasperation.

"Eddy's human and he knows." The gorgon pointed out. "My husband and girlfriend are too."

"But he's- well Ed and Eddy are different. They proved they'd be there for me no matter what."

"But have you let Kevin prove himself?" Eddy asked.

Edd pinched the bridge of his nose. "I can't- how would I even do that. I don't want to talk about this."

The bell rang for the end of lunch and whatever Eddy had been about to say was lost.

"I think you're worrying too much." Em rested her cold hand on Edd's much warmer one.

Edd looked away and picked up his bag.

"I'll see you tonight." He said with a tense voice before him and Eddy left for their next class.

Kevin frowned and pushed his food around his plate. How was he going to get that kiss if Edd was always running away.

"What's up with you?" Nazz asked. "I've never seen D move that fast without tripping before."

"That's it! Nazz you're brilliant!" Kevin whooped before shoveling what was left of his food into his face and darted away from the table. He had a trap to set.

By the end of the day Edd was feeling particularly nervous. Kevin hadn't accosted him since lunch and he knew the boy never backed down. Whatever Kevin had up his sleeve Edd needed to counter but he had no clue what to watch out for. Everything seemed suspicious and he was checking corners before he turned. His hyper-vigilance had him on edge- looking for anything that seemed out of place. Unfortunately for him unremarkable everyday school objects escaped his scrutiny and the wet floor sign in front of his locker completely bypassed his defenses and before he knew what was happening his tractionless shoes slid along the wet floor and he fell backwards. He braced himself to hit the tile.

Kevin, who'd been watching, threw his arm forward and caught him around the waist just in time. He was light but the backwards momentum had him slam into Kevin's chest.

"Caught ya." He said and pressed a featherlight kiss to the warm cheek.

Suddenly being enveloped in Kevin's arms and being completely surrounded by Kevin's scent, trying to suppress his hunger became so difficult his vision tunneled.

He felt his consciousness flicker. Luckily Kevin didn't try to right him, holding him protectively to his chest. Edd's shirt had ridden up and Kevin's hand had come to rest at the strip of warm skin. The touch to his bared skin did nothing to calm the need bubbling over.

"That was a dirty trick."

"All's fair in love and war. I'd say I won this one." He was all grin and Edd could practically taste his cockiness.

"You won by cheating." Edd pointed out.

"We never specified that I couldn't set a trap. Just that no one else could be involved. This was perfectly within our guidelines."

"You're unbelievable." Edd smiled despite himself and, when he tried to plant his foot to stand straight slipped again.

"And you've got an easily exploitable weakness." Kevin said, helping Edd to stand this time. "So shall I take my kiss now or would you prefer somewhere less wet."

Edd rolled his eyes. "I don't think a school hallway is particularly romantic."

"Romantic, huh?" Kevin grinned. "And you'd like this kiss to be that? Romantic?" He backed Edd into his locker.

"I- no." Edd let out in a breath. "No. I don't."

Kevin wanted to pout at the refusal but he had still won so he refrained. He slid his hand across Edd's smooth cheek, his fingers finding purchase at the back of his neck and his thumb stroking his jaw.

Edd gulped and closed his eyes. Kevin smirked and leaned in, breath ghosting over Edd's lips.

"I think-" Kevin said, "-I'll take that kiss to go." He backed off and Edd blinked- red cheeked and dazed.

"Huh?" Edd opened his mouth and closed it, feeling flush.

"I think you're right. The hallway definitely isn't the best setting." The jock grinned.

Edd tried to stand on shaking legs and Kevin couldn't help but be proud that he had brought the tease that had been testing him all day to such a state.

"You're going to drag this out aren't you?" Edd gave him an unimpressed look but it didn't effect Kevin at all. He was too busy basking in his win.

"I think I'll tease you a bit. Get back at you for earlier."

Edd blushed to the roots of his hair from the mere mention of their lunchtime encounter.

"That was an accident."

The fact Edd could be so sexual but still be embarrassed by an accidental brushing of Kevin's junk almost made the jock want to laugh.

"Was it?" He asked with a cocky grin.

Edd let out an exasperated huff and opened his locker.

He made a quick exchange of items before closing it. Kevin did the same from his own nearby and they walked to the exit together. Outside the doors Kevin put his hand on Edd's back and Edd braced himself for the kiss. He closed his eyes and held his breath only to have Kevin chuckle and keep walking.

Edd blinked his eyes open and made an annoyed noise in his throat. This was going to be a long walk home he was certain.

And it was. They had brief snippets of conversation until Kevin would back Edd into whatever was closest, a building, a chain link fence, the side of a parked car- he'd inch closer and closer each time and Edd would think- 'he's finally going to do it' their breaths would mingle and in one instance, against the car, Kevin whispered 'Edd' so softly and so near their lips barely brushed, and then he'd be gone, he'd back away with the most terrible smile and Edd would be left trying to breathe.

As much as Double D was incensed that Kevin was playing with him he was also starting to wear on his hunger, each time he got closer and closer to outright attacking the jock. But it was also thrilling to be the one being chased. It felt good knowing his allure wasn't drawing him in- he just liked Edd and wanted him.

Around the corner from the cul-de-sac Kevin rounded on Edd yet again, this time against Mrs. Morris' garish sunflower yellow fence.

"Hey." Kevin's hands settled onto Edd's slim hips and he used them to press him into the wood.

Edd covered his breath hitching by acting entirely unimpressed.

"You can only do this so many times before it loses effectiveness."

"I don't think you're quite there yet." He joked and mimicked Edd's little breathy gasp.

"That's-" Edd started before being completely cut off by Kevin's lips crashing into his own and it was as sweet as it was the first time.

It was a slow unhurried kiss and after all the buildup Edd could do nothing but melt into it. His hands fisted into the front of Kevin's hoodie and he made a low moan in the back of his throat. Finally was all he could think. He didn't even count, couldn't even remember he was supposed to. He just got swept up in the tide of scent and lust and affection. When Kevin pulled back for air Edd chased his mouth, unwilling to let it end so soon. Kevin couldn't help but drop one more softer, chaster kiss.

Edd closed his eyes and took a deep steadying breath, willing himself not to let out his wild pheromones. Kevin watched on as Edd struggled to regain proper brain function.

"Good?" He asked. It was probably meant to come out confident and teasing but it sounded so sincere that Edd could only swallow and nod.

Kevin leaned his head to Edd's shoulder. "Fuck, you look edible."

Edd held in a whimper. He was trying to swallow the humiliating urge to beg the jock to take him there against the obnoxiously bright fence.

Kevin gathered himself and backed up, he tried to discreetly adjust himself but Edd's eyes zeroed in on the way Kevin's jeans tented and his mouth flooded with saliva. He swallowed again and Kevin caught where he was staring and blushed.

"Sorry." Kevin coughed.

Edd licked his lips and tried to respond but couldn't think of anything that didn't lead to him sinking to his knees and just shook his head.

"I need to get ready to be picked up by Mrs. Manos." He said instead.

"Yeah. Let's uh, let's get you home."

The rest of the walk was quiet. Edd trying to keep himself together enough not to jump Kevin the second he looked at him and Kevin embarrassed about his overeager and obviously virginal response to a simple kiss.

"Double D-" Kevin started when they approached Edd's blue door but stopped when noticed he was being stared at. Edd's eyes were glassy and Kevin was reminded of the last time he'd been so dazed here in the same spot just before he'd vanished. "You okay?"

"Huh- Uh- Oh. Yeah." Edd blinked, his eyes clearing, and looked away.

"I'll see you tomorrow." Kevin pressed a quick peck to the cheek, just under Edd's eye.

Edd's cheek colored and he nodded before fleeing to the safety of his house. Kevin watched as he disappeared behind his door before going home.

Double D leaned back against the door and slid down. How was he supposed to fight against something like that?

Eddy was supposed to come by after his detention and Edd couldn't focus on anything. His mind kept drifting back to that kiss. And after. He decided a shower was in order especially since his mind kept wandering to the sizable bulge in Kevin's trousers and what he would have liked to do with it. He'd need to get rid of all his built up pheromone if he was going to go anywhere.

But even after an eventful shower his mind hadn't been able to get off Kevin. It felt like that's all he'd thought about for days and it was tiring.

He'd never liked having someone's tongue in his mouth but Kevin's didn't bother him. His tongue seemed tentative, like he was tasting instead of outright eating his face like a lot of the people he'd pulled. Eddy came in while Edd was staring at a wall.

"You seem happy." The shorter man said with a knowing look. He went straight for the bookshelf and read the spines, trying to decide which book he would pick up next. He pulled one and skimmed a page or two before putting it aside and picking out another. "Something good happen with Kevin?"

"I- no. Maybe. We had a bit of a wager today. He won so he- he asked for a kiss."

Eddy took note of Edd's pink face. "Just a kiss? Man he should have held out for more, you're practically gagging for it."

"You're so crude, Eddy." Edd scoffed and crossed his arms.

"But you're not denying it. Why not just give him a chance."

"Because- just… because!" Edd snapped. "He's… Kevin! He's football captain and popular and handsome. If he finds out what I am there's no way he'd want me. Besides, he's never shown interest in a man before. If this is just some… some phase or fling, then what?" The fears seemed to spill out of him unbidden. It was like that kiss knocked something loose in Edd and he couldn't hold back the thoughts that had been plaguing him.

"See that's your problem right there. Why wouldn't he want to be with you? If I met a smoking hot babe and she told me she was a sex demon I'd probably never leave the bed again. Kevin may be a jerk but he's not stupid. And not knowing how something's going to turn out isn't a good reason not to try. Isn't it like unscientific or whatever not to test your hypothe-sesus?"

"Hypothesis, Eddy, and human emotion isn't a science experiment. Lord knows I'd be better at it if it was."

"You've been too hard on yourself since your change dude. I haven't seen you this strung out since your mom left." He picked up a book on gorgons and put it in his growing pile.

"Yes, well, you try being a monster for a bit and see how your self esteem is after."

Eddy sighed. "You aren't a monster. You may not be human but you're still a person, dude. Is Mrs. Manos a monster?"

"Of course not, but she doesn't live off of human energy."

"No, she just eats whole raw mice, rabbits, and frogs. I don't think that's any less or more an issue then what you do."

"At least it's real substance. People eat rabbit and frog."

"Yeah and most people love to fuck too, they don't even know they have all this energy. Maybe it's not what you wanted for yourself but you can't help what you are. It's not wrong to have needs D."

"Whatever. I don't want to talk about this."

"You never do. Dude, you can't bottle all of this up. I don't want this to be like when your mom moved. I know you think you can handle this on your own but me and Ed are here for you." Eddy sat next to Edd on the couch. "We need you too. This whole self-hatred shit hurts us too."

Edd leaned into his friend. "I'm sorry."

"Just talk to us okay. Let us help you. You're not alone." Eddy motioned to the books on the shelf, "and not just me an' Ed... and Kevin. There's a bunch of others like you."

"Thank you." Edd said softly into his friend's shoulder. "It's hard to be at my best when I'm always hungry and tired."

"You've never been good with change either but having someone you can feed on regularly will make this all a lot easier for you."

"I'll think about it. It can't be Kevin though. He- I can't. Okay?"

"You really like him, huh?"

Edd only nodded slightly.

"That's all the more reason it needs to be him. You deserve to be with someone you like."

Edd didn't reply and after a moment Edd's phone beeped, a message from Em that she was out front blinked onto the screen.

They stood and Eddy patted Edd. "Let's go have a great time. Maybe you'll feel better after talking to people who get you."

"Talking with you already has me feeling better Eddy. Thank you."

"Don't sweat it."

Haaaa- sorry guys. Classes started back up and my brain was absolutely wiped. I'm trying to write and finish everything but I'm honestly not sure where some things are going or how long they'll be. I also have a one shot pwp I might post soon though~ I'm not dead or abandoning anything- just slowing down until I get my mojo back. It comes in waves so here's hoping doing this chapter will push me into writing more!
