...

Turles sat on the front porch of Kakarot's dwelling as was his habit during the early evening hours when the weather was pleasant. The brat would be studying and the Earth female kept busy doing yet another household chore she'd concocted. The Saiyan wondered if she wanted to appear industrious or she simply had to be occupied at all times. To the pirate's surprise Chi-Chi exited the house and sat beside him. He sucked in his breath as he felt her head come to rest on his shoulder. The sensation that went through him at the unexpected contact was both pleasant and disturbing. At the feel of her lips touching his cheek Turles bit his lip to keep from responding. Then it got worse, a warm soft- skinned arm wrapped around him followed by another.

"Kiss me Goku..."

...

Bulma sighed as Mount Paozu came into view of her craft. What was the point of being wealthy if you couldn't drop in to check on your friends at a second's notice? Maybe she'd get to the bottom of the mystery of why Goku was behaving so strangely. But to be honest, if Goku was simply starting to appreciate Chi-Chi more that wouldn't be a bad thing at all.

...

Turles whirled about as Gohan tapped him on the shoulder.

"Dad, do you know why mom looks so sad?"

The current "Goku" knew exactly why the human female was dejected. When he'd pulled away from her embrace she had literally deflated before his eyes.

"I'll check on her."

"Ok, well I'm gonna get a snack and go study some more," the youngster declared as he went into the kitchen.

...

How the hell did he fix this? Was he supposed to actually kiss Kakarot's mate? Not that the idea was completely repugnant but..

It was just a damn kiss! It wasn't like Turles hadn't kissed scores of women before without giving them a second thought. If the woman got her kiss and the daily routine went on as usual then it would be well worth the effort. The evening meal hour was approaching and it was best that the "cook" wasn't in a foul mood during meal preparation.

A crestfallen Chi-Chi was folding clothes in the front seating area. When she caught sight of him she dropped the towel she held into a basket and bolted outside slamming the door behind her. Turles was immediately behind her. Chi-Chi gasped as "Goku" whipped her around and pulled her into a scorching embrace. The Ox-princess had never received a kiss of such intensity from her husband. She threw her arms around "Goku" and responded in kind. Turles had only meant to deliver a brief plant on the woman's lips. Instead he crushed Chi-Chi to him. His fingers slid into her hair and he deepened the kiss further...

"AHHEM!" a red-faced Bulma exclaimed. She'd never seen such a display from the bashful Goku.

"OOHHH! Hello Bulma!" a flustered Chi-Chi called out. She gave "Goku" a gentle shove and primly straightened her hair.

"Tell Gohan get ready for supper!"

Turles gave the blue-haired female a wary glance. So this was the 'Bulma' Gohan had spoken of. He was curious as to her presence but all was right now with Kakarot's woman ensuring a delectable evening meal so 'Bulma' was of little concern at the moment. A brusque nod was all the greeting the bluenette received.

Alarm bells immediately resounded in Bulma's mind. Since when did Goku put a literal lip-lock on Chi-Chi? And where was the cheerful greeting she always received?

...

Turles instructed the half-Saiyan child to prepare for the evening meal but his thoughts were consumed with the embrace he'd shared with the dark-haired beauty on the porch. He'd relished every second of what was supposed to have been the the briefest of contact.

'Since I'm the one who resides in Kakarot's/"Goku's " body. Would it be so unthinkable to enjoy the woman's attention?'

Turles was taken aback at even considering such a notion. How could a mere human female cause him to do so? The Saiyan forced the thought from his mind immediately. He would not engage in such antics again. The spark that had ensued could not be allowed to fan into flames...

...

Chi-Chi was back in her kitchen and cooking with a vengeance. After being pampered for several days with having meals prepared for her, she was eager to show her appreciation. Having her affectionate attentions returned in kind by her husband had the brunette practically giddy. Goku had been so aloof as of late. Maybe making all of Goku's favorite foods would spur him into a further romantic mindset.

Bulma had graciously accepted an invitation to stay for supper so she would enjoy some feminine companionship while her male charges ingested their meal. It appeared it was going to be a delightful evening all around.

A nervous Bulma watched "Goku" as he enjoyed the lavish spread Chi-Chi had set on the dining table. He couldn't be Goku! The impeccable table manners he displayed were not typical of the Earth-raised Saiyan who usually scarfed his meal down within minutes. The snatches of conversation she gleaned from "Goku" and Gohan were a bit too highbrow for the simple "Goku" she knew for decades. It was becoming quite apparent that Piccolo and Tien were correct in their assumptions. Whoever was staying under Chi-Chi's roof it was certainly not Goku! The heiress looked over at Chi-Chi who was simply doting over the obvious imposter. Her loving glance was reciprocated by a smoldering one from the occupant of Goku's seat.

Bulma's jaw dropped as Gohan announced he and "Goku" would tidy up the kitchen so Chi-Chi could enjoy her visit. The "Goku" she was familiar with would have immediately plopped on the couch. He had never once concerned himself with the mountain of dishes he left behind after consuming his meal...

...

It was difficult to keep her hand from shaking as Bulma balanced a cup of tea while she sat in the living room of the Son family. How was she going to convince Chi-Chi that "Goku" was not who he claimed to be?

"Chi-Chi, haven't you noticed that Goku's behaving a little..." Bulma began.

"Yes! Isn't it wonderful? All the positive reinforcement I've been giving Gohan over the years has finally started to rub off on Goku!" the Ox-king's daughter announced happily.

Bulma smacked herself in the forehead. This was Chi-Chi's rationale for the complete 360 of Goku's personality?

"Chi-Chi you're not going to want to hear this but whoever that man is in your home it's NOT Goku!"

The darling of Capsule Corps watched as the mother of Gohan's smile suddenly contorted into a tight line.

"Bulma, are you insinuating that I wouldn't know he wasn't my husband IF someone tried to replace him?"

"Chi-Chi be reasonable. If you pay attention to.."

"Bulma, I'm going to have to ask you to leave. When YOU are willing to be reasonable and not go imagining things then I will gladly welcome you into our home again."

Chi-Chi ignored Bulma's entreaties and left the room. Bulma looked up to find "Goku" standing across from her with his arms crossed over his chest wearing a smirk that would have never appeared on gentle Goku's face.

"I do believe you've been dismissed!" he chortled.

Bulma felt the blood in her veins turn to ice. The man who mocked her was definitely NOT Goku!...
