Blacker than darkness. Everyone was soon met face to face with the black mist. It was the scariest entity to ever exist. To say that nothing existed in it was incorrect. But this was beyond any knowledge they had. Any lifeforms caught in its grasp ceased to live. They were but husks of their former selves, devoid of any life.

Kyosuke scanned the area with the VX's scanners.

"I'm not picking up any readings from the area."

"At least it's not poisonous or radioactive."

Kyosuke turned to look at Itami.

"You don't understand, there's nothing at all."

Even with the advanced technology of the ERS, they were at a loss for what they witnessed in front of them.

"It's not a gas or a liquid. But perhaps a shadow?"

There he goes, talking about pseudo-science.

"Yuriko, you're up."

Yuriko walked up to the edge of the lingering darkness and casted a psionic burst in its direction. The burst went in and caused a ripple, like skipping a stone across a pond.

"I was worried it would react like this."

Yuki looked over something on her PDA with intense concentration. Whatever was happening to this world, this was just the beginning. The day soon turned night and everyone ate dinner. Giselle more than others. She enjoyed the curry rations the most.

"Spatial distortion, dimensions…"

Lelei was fed the basics of universal gravity and soon started putting two and two together about what they'd learned recently.

"Wouldn't Yuki know something about this? She seemed really concerned about something earlier. Speaking of which, where is she?"

"She went behind the mess tent just a minute ago."

"Ah, I'll see if we can get her in on this."

Itami walked over to behind the mess tent.

"Yuki? Are you free? I was wonder-"

Itami immediately turned around with a severe blush on his face.

"Itami, did you need me for something?"

"I… uh… can wait after you're done. Or actually, I'll just tell you later."

Yuki was having her breasts fondled and sucked on by Kyosuke.

"I can hear you out."

"Err… it's difficult right now."

"Well, you can't help it. You are a man after all."

"I'll just wait for you with the others."

Itami walked away, trying to understand whether this was a good or bad thing.

"I think he wanted to join in."

Kyousuke continued drinking her milk and squeezed the other nipple with a powerful pinch. After Itami's discovery, he sat back down with the others as they discussed theories. It was a few minutes after that Yuki and Kyosuke joined in. Yuriko was already there, eating her food by herself. Yuki sat down next to her and cuddled up.

"Such a cute girl like you sitting by herself? Looks like I get to you all for myself tonight."

Yuriko leaned onto Yuki as she ate. Lelei explained the higher dimensions of this world to everyone as simplistic as she could.

"Yuki, you got anything to add?"

"You think I know something about quantum mechanics?"

"Huh? But I thought you were-"

"Were what?"

"I just thought you were knowledgeable in this field."

"How did you come to that conclusion?"

"You just seem to know almost anything."

"Just because I happen to know more than the average person does not make me smarter or knowledgeable than a brainiac."

"So you don't have anything to say?"

"Not me, but how about one of our scientists?"

Yuki placed down a holographic projector on the ground and swiped through her PDA. In a few seconds, a young man in a scientist outfit came through.

"Commander, did you need me for something?"

The guest researchers were astounded by the level of technology the ERS had in their arsenal.

"Could you share non-classified intel about what you know so far about the Gate?"

"Most certainly. The Gate is an intriguing phenomena. It's more or less a gateway from one world to another. This event can only occur when this world comes into close contact with another."

The projection changed from him to two lines parallel to each other. Then the lines curve toward each other and intertwine.

"We're still not sure how we came to be, since we didn't arrive through a Gate. But perhaps the effects of the Gate were recreated using teleportation technology. But I don't have solid evidence to back that claim. In any case, the longer the Gate is open, the more distorted the two worlds become. These distortions may cause devastation to sentient life, if you're not careful. Worst case scenario, the connected worlds may become obliterated."

Lelei spoke up.

"What if the Gate were to close? Would that stop the distortions?"

"That's a possibility. The Gate must certainly be under a lot of stress from keeping the two worlds open. Giving it a break may calm things down. But if there are an infinite number of universes out there, which one will contain the one you'd want to connect to again?"

"And that is the main problem we're having right now. Without knowing which world is ours, we can't go back home."

"Quite right, commander. But we know for a fact that we left a trail. All we have to do is follow the trail back to our point of origin. But…"

"That's all for now, doctor."

"As you wish, commander."

Yuki turned off the projector and put it back into storage.

"You didn't want to let him finish?"

"Any more than that would've been a breach of security."

"But this might be important for us as well. Aren't you being selfish?"

"Be that as it may, but we have our own protocols to follow. If you can't understand that much, then we have nothing else to say."

Yuki stood up and threw down another device. It looked like the projector, only this time a building came out of it. A small, apartment sized shelter was constructed and Yuki entered. She let Yuriko and Kyosuke enter and closed the door.

"They really do have everything in their pockets."

The inside of the building seemed to defy the laws of physics as the dimensions of the interior did not seem to match the dimensions of the exterior. It was way larger inside. There was a living room, kitchen, bathroom, dining room, and a bedroom. The only thing was the lack of windows. Other than that, it looked like a normal home. Without a word, she went into the kitchen and started preparing a meal.

"Should we…"

Kyosuke nodded.

"Just let her do her thing. Go take a bath first, dinner will be ready by the time you're done. You didn't each much at the campfire, did you?"

"No… I guess I'll go take one then. What about you?"

"As the future husband, I'll try to calm down the storm."

Yuriko sat in the bathtub, thinking about everything that's happened so far. Coming here, forging an alliance, discovering new things about this world, finding love. She shook her head in embarrassment at that last part and sunk into the water. With her psionic powers, she could form an air bubble around her head, preventing her from suffocating in oxygen deprived situations. It would only last for so long before she needed to breathe fresh air again. After her bath and drying out her body and hair, she was just about to put on her clothes when Yuki barged in wearing an apron over her uniform and holding a ladle.

"Y-Yuki? What're you-"

Yuriko had only put her panties on when Yuki dragged her out of the bathroom and had her sit down at the dining table. Kyosuke was already there, wearing his off duty clothes.

"You've got cute underwear, did Yuki pick that out for you?"

Yuriko blushed a shade of red and fidgeted in her seat. Yuki laid out a dinner set for three on the table.

Ikameshi, potato salad, chicken curry, tofu steak, omelette rice, fried shrimp, and miso soup.

"This is… quite a lot. Can we finish all this?"

"Most of this is for both me and Yuki. We have to take in a lot of calories daily to compensate for our super strength, endurance, and speed. But you take what you want first and we'll have the rest."

As Yuriko ate her meal, she could only watch in awe of how they steadily ate theirs. The plate would be full of assorted food and gone in minutes, and the cycle continues. Yuriko was already full from just one plate of fried shrimp and tofu steak. She sat back in her seat and calmed her stomach as Yuki collected the plates and silverware.

"Oh, I'll help with that."

Yuriko lifted everything off the table and set them in the kitchen sink. Yuki walked over and had them rinsed and placed in the dishwasher where she set it for a cycle. Yuki then walked out of the kitchen and suddenly hugged Yuriko.

"Yuki? What's wrong?"

Yuki said nothing and kept hugging her, hugging her tightly for a minute or two before letting go.

"Nevermind. What I want to know is…"

She started pinching Yuriko's nipples.

"Why are you still half naked?"

"You're the one who pulled me out of the bathroom before I finished changing!"

"And yet, you've made no effort to put anything on after that. You must've gotten comfy being around me, thinking you can flaunt these around."

She then started fondling her breasts.

"Such lewd lumps of fat, just waiting to be used like this. How indecent."

Then she pinned her to the table with her arms above her. She slid her underwear off and gazed at the newly exposed pussy before her.

"You really are a lewd girl. Getting turned on from someone playing with your body. I need to teach you a lesson in modesty."

Before she could comprehend what was happening, Yuriko felt a sharp sensation of a thick and phallic object plunge deep inside her.

"I…"

She already felt the gush of a warm liquid filling up her insides. She felt close to orgasm, but it stopped immediately after the ejaculation.

"Another lesson in sexual education, orgasm denial."

Round after round, Yuriko's womb was filled to the brim of an unknown synthetic liquid that seemed to endlessly come out of Yuki's strap-on. The entire time she wasn't allowed to cum once, which infuriated and agitated her.

"Look at this used up pussy, it's overflowing with my juices. Looks like there's no other choice."

She flipped Yuriko over and began again, only this time, it was in a different hole. This was entirely new territory for Yuriko.

"Some people are into anal, but I'm not. This is just for education, nothing else."

Soon after, Yuriko's bowels were overflowing as well. She was now a gushing mess as she heavily panted, trying to get her energy back. But Yuki wasn't having it. She forced Yuriko to fit the strap-on into her mouth and began the process again until she was coughing up the same substance. After which, Yuki laid her out on the table and came a few more times on her body before finally finishing.

"Orgasm denial, anal, and oral. Aren't you fortunate to have such a devoted teacher?"

Yuriko didn't answer. She just laid in a daze for the remainder of the night.

The next morning, everyone was soon rushing to pack up. Rather, the JSDF guys were. Yuki left their house just in time to see Itami run by before stopping. The mood was kind of ruined since last night, but Itami knew better than to let personal feelings and/or emotions get in the way of work.

"We just got a call about-"

"About some hostage rescue somewhere in Tanska or whatever it's called, and you're needed to pick them up. As we all know, spec ops teams have to be retrieved once the mission is complete."

"Uh… yeah. That's the gist of it."

"But to make as much room as possible, we can't come with you."

"..."

"One, no need to act so awkward over what happened last night. I got emotional and got carried away. Two, be more honest when you have to explain the situation to someone. If there's no time for compromise, then don't delay."

"Then you're fine with staying behind?"

Yuki assembled a Sudden Transport. This model was different, however. Kyosuke came out of the house with Yuki in tow and packed up the building.

"This is something Kyosuke's been working on for a while. I've endorsed it to be an unofficial logistics vehicle that can be used to ship supplies directly to the frontlines. It loses its disguise ability, but has the ability of low to mid altitude flight.

She walked up to Itami, turned him around towards his chopper, and gave him a firm shove. Yuki turned around and faced her two beloved with a wicked grin.

Meanwhile, in the swampy region of Tanska.

"We have our man. Now all that's left is to-"

A dim glow got the team leader's attention as he drew his knife. But he stopped as soon as he felt the cold tip of a blade touch his neck. The glow was intentional, as it drew his attention away from the culprit.

"Sloppy. If I wanted to, I'd have all of you put down and no one would be the wiser."

From the darkness, a man in dark, wrapped clothing appeared, holding a katana to the leader's neck.

"The commander will be arriving soon, so you've no time to waste."

He quickly retracted the blade and crouched in front of the leader's view. He looked around to see his team also released from the same situation.

"You are not Shinobi, so I'll forgive you this time. But if you can't counter a gunless warrior, then what worth do you have as a soldier to your army?"

The lead Shinobi held his wrist up to his mouth.

"Dorobo team has made contact with the allied team."

"Dorobo? Thieves?"

The Shinobi didn't reply. He merely waited for his next orders.

"Did you forgive their sloppiness?"

"Yes."

"Then move onto the next phase. Don't forget to be mindful of your allies, they are not Shinobi, so don't expect them to be as agile."

He put down his arm and gave silent orders to his men. Lastly, he spoke to the leader.

"You are free to follow your objective. But know that we have our own objectives as well. After you've secured your VIP, evacuate the compound. This is your only warning."

"Hey, what's this about?"

But the Shinobi had already disappeared into the darkness without a trace. Not even Delilah knew where they went. The JSDF team was able to retrieve the target, but started complicating things when they caught a hostage. They were permitted safe passage until the front gate, where they'd release the hostage and make a run for it. But as the negotiations started, a mysterious white mist started seeping into the compound. The soldiers posted on the walls were the first to fall. Whatever the mist was, seemed to affect the living. Either they were unconscious or dead, this was a dangerous situation for everyone.

Evacuate the compound?

The spec ops leader ordered his team to retreat to the fallback position. Bullets and arrows were exchanged across, but the JSDF team made it out with no casualties. The same couldn't be said for the garrison. When they arrived, they were met with 5 intimidating Steel Ronins, with the same white mist blowing from their chest plates.

"We warned you to leave as soon as you retrieved your target. What saved you was the same thing that almost got you killed, stupidity."

The leader grabbed the Shinobi leader by the collar and shook him for answers.

"What the hell was that!? Were you trying to kill us?"

"Seems you can't hear as well."

He let him go as they still had to rendezvous with the heli.

"Because of your unnecessary stunt, your mission has become increasingly difficult. The commander was right…"

The Shinobi team disappeared into the darkness once more as the Ronins moved away.

A few hours later, on a nearby ridge

"There they are, chased by the enemy. Quite large, I'd say about a hundred, maybe more."

Yuki camped on the ridge, overlooking the battlefield.

"There's the rescue team, coming in for a landing."

The chinook landed and out came everyone, providing covering fire for the spec ops team.

"With Itami at their side, they just might make it out. Emphasis on might."

The Shinobi team from before approached Yuki.

"Commander, it is as you predicted."

"It was a long shot, but at least the excess gas can be used as a weapon. Oh well."

She stopped observing and turned towards the Shinobi.

"Shinobi, you've served me well all these years."

"To serve the commander is my greatest honor."

"For your loyalty, I shall grant you a reward. Hand me your sword."

He unsheathed his katana and graciously handed it to her. She took it from his hands and placed her forefinger and middle finger on the collar and slowly traced them to the pommel. Along the way, the hilt changed into an ornamental design. Once she finished, the sword was now emanating an unexplainable aura. Was this magic? Was this only accessible to Imperial high ranking officers? Whatever the reason, the sword was now more powerful than the standard Shinobi katana. As she handed it back, he felt something surge throughout his body. While he was comprehending his newfound power, Yuki suddenly hugged him.

"C-Commander?"

She whispered into his ear.

"Tsuruchi, this is a personal gift from me to you."

Through their uniforms, Yuki could feel something.

"I can see you're grateful. Feel free to come see me at my quarters for anything."

She said in a suggestive tone. He wasn't sure what to do. She soon let go and stood back with a smile. She turned back around to the battle.

"I think we've droned this on for long enough."

Back to the JSDF

"Damn, will we really pull this off alive?"

Itami said to himself as he laid down cover fire. Amongst the exchange, he noticed several dark shapes on the nearby ridge. It was hard to tell, but he had a bad feeling about it. He saw a red glint which turned out to be a laser, annihilating the enemy in a beam of superheated plasma. What followed after were several more beams and rocket barrages. The pursuing army have either retreated, or been killed as well.

"No time like the present. Everyone, get on!"

Everyone used this opportunity to evac out of the area just in time before the entire area was saturated again.

Back to Yuki

"What a strange man."

Alright, so this chapter was rushed a bit. But only because I got an inspiration for it at the last minute before I had to go somewhere important. The ero scenes aren't as impressive like before, but don't fret, for I am working hard to observe, interact, and observe related material. The start of the next chapter will follow up on chapter 102 of the manga.
