Heyo, Im back, i went on a huge 20 day long road trip with my dad, and i just got back last night, we went all around the American west and southwest, and visited Dinosaur, Arches, Canyonlands, Capitol Reef, Zion, Bryce Canyon, White Sands, Saguaro, and Grand Canyon National parks, We also visited: Monument Valley in AZ, Sedona AZ, Grand Staircase Escalante Nat'l Monument UT, Devils Tower Nat'l Monument WY, Custer State Park SD, And Crazy Horse Memorial SD. It was a total of 6326 Miles of driving, and was from The 26th to the 11th, Im back now and filled with ideas, Im gonna try to update every Monday at some time. Also Future chapters will be longer. at least a 1000 words or more, im just writing this at 3AM, Anyways Back to the story.
The next day Blake, Yang, and Weiss were idly getting ready for the day when all three heard a large thud.
Looking over to the source of the sound, they saw it was Ruby, who had jumped up and slammed her head against the bunk above Weiss's. Looking around blearily before flopping back onto the bed Ruby spoke, "Getting set on fire suuuuuuuckss!"
Yang quickly dropped what she was doing and went to Ruby's bedside and asked, "Rubes? Are you okay?"
Ruby replied, "I feel like i was bundled up and roasted for yuletide dinner... Wait a freaking second! IM NOT DEAD!?"
In an instant Ruby was up out of bed and inspecting every bit of herself. The other 3/4 of the team just watched as their fearless leader seemed to come to grips with the fact that she was alive, then Yang held up three fingers.
Ruby started pulling up her sleeves to inspect for burns.
Yang put down a finger.
Ruby paused.
Yang put down another finger.
Ruby looked up at the three standing there, Blake and Weiss staring at Yang, who was looking at Ruby smugly.
Yang pointed her last remaining finger at Ruby.
Ruby burst into motion and tackled the three to the ground, all the while screaming, "OH MY GOD, EVERYONE ELSE ISNT DEAD EITHER!"
Yang just ruffled Ruby's hair, Blake smiled warmly, and Weiss spoke up, "Took you long enough dolt"
Ruby, now fully crying her eyes out just hugged the trio tighter and said, "I thought I lost all of you"
Later after everyone had calmed down and emotions were no longer running high, Weiss and Yang ushered the rest of the team to go meet with Ozpin.
Arriving in the Headmaster's Office the team was greeted by the council of defenders, Ozpin was there, flanked by Professor Glynda Goodwitch, and Qrow, along with the General on a Holo-vid screen.
"Greetings, team RWBY, I suppose there's been a development? You did ask for a meeting, so i would assume so."
Yang stepped forwards and told the group, "Ruby and Blake have come back as well"
Ozpin sighed, "Take a seat ladies, it appears as though we have much to discuss."
