Arthur and the knights couldn't believe the words that just left Merlin's mouth. They were shocked and Arthur honestly didn't believe it. He leaned forward on the table, as if getting closer to see if he misheard. "So let me get this straight. You and the two people behind you are… Princes' of Draconia?" Arthur asked.

Merlin nodded. "I know it's hard to believe since I don't act like it, but I am telling the truth."

Makarias placed a hand on Merlin's shoulder, stepping forward. "That night we were forced out of our kingdom. Our father and mother were killed in front of us. We lost everything we built and worked for in one night by a man we trusted. Our Uncle. He ventured East for a quest and when he came back, he was a changed man. He was poisoned by the Saxons into believing our father ruled the kingdom only to bring it down. We escaped because he was busy taking in the glory of having the kingdom in his hands. You may not believe us but we are the surviving sons of Hunith and Balinor Emrys." Makarias finished, gripping Merlin's shoulder protectively.

Arthur nodded, soaking in the information he was given. He knew all too well the feeling of being betrayed by someone close, their faces a dead give away of their truthfulness. Arthur stepped back. "I believe you." he said. "So what do you plan to do now?"

Merlin smiled. "We plan to take back our kingdom. Makarias and Makiss were on a mission to see if anyone would be interested in helping us reclaim our home." He explained.

Makiss nodded. "We have Arias on our side, but considering Mordred has the Saxons, it makes him dangerous. He is not the same as his father." Makiss explained.

Arthur nodded, folding his arms, he looked back at his knights who all nodded, thinking the same thing they were. "We would like to help take back your kingdom, if you will allow us."

Merlin was overjoyed hearing this, glad to see how Arthur was reacting to this news, but a pit in his stomach grew. Merlin was happy Arthur was ready to help, but Merlin's kingdom was that of magic. Not to mention Merlin had magic as well. He just wondered if this would ruin their relationship. Deciding not to say anything, Merlin nodded.

"We would love your help." Makarias said, squeezing Merlin's Shoulder. "If you don't mind Makiss and I are a bit tired and would like to talk to Merlin alone. Can we meet up later tonight to discuss our new plan?"

Arthur smiled, shaking his head. "Of course. I don't think I need Merlin anymore."

Merlin smiled, as they made their way out of the council room, the knights and Arthur discussing the events. Merlin and his brothers turned towards the door and exited the room. Merlin let out a breath he felt like he was holding. "That was stressful."

Makarias and Makiss both laughed. "At least he offered to help us." Makarias mused.

Makiss grabbed for his bag, taking it off, he handed it to Merlin. Grabbing it, Merlin lifted a brow. "What is this for?" He asked.

Makiss shrugged. "It has your new outfit. When we get to your room, you should change. They may be a bit big on you, but we tried."

Merlin nodded, peaking into the bag, But he couldn't really see much. When they got back to the physicians quarters, Merlin was surprised to see Gaius wasn't there. The only thing that came to mind was him doing his rounds. Merlin gripped the bag, looking back at his brothers.

"Why don't you both take a nap. I am going to change and gather a few things for the quest." Merlin explained. Makarias didn't hesitate and plopped on Gaius' cot, immediately getting comfortable.

Merlin shook his head, making his way to his own room. Closing the door, he opened the bag and pulled out everything. His outfit consisted of black Harem pants that held silver embroidery along the side of the pants. He has a white blouse with a black and silver vest. What made him smile was the choker from his childhood and the silver chain holding deep blue topaz that was meant to go on his head. His sandals looked exactly like when he was a child, other than it had deep blue and silver lining on the strings. He missed his old fashion, it really showed how much his Kingdom was different from anyone else's.

Merlin quickly got changed, feeling out of place but also very comfortable in his old clothes. He missed them a lot. Finding a feather earring in the bag, he decided to put one in, nearly re piercing his ear. Looking into the mirror, he smiled. He looked just like the day he left and he truly enjoyed it.

Going out of his room, he spotted Gaius standing near the bed, looking at Makarias who was already snoring. When Merlin made it down the steps he smiled.

"It's alright Gaius, they are just my idiot brothers." Merlin explained, causing Gaius to jump.

When he spotted Merlin though, his eyes went wide. "Merlin you look… different." He said.

Merlin nodded, walking over to sit on the bench, folding his leg over the other. He sighed. "It's time… Makiss and Makarias have finally decided to get our Kingdom back." He explained, folding his arms. Gaius smiled.

"That is wonderful. Does Arthur know now?" He asked.

"Yes. He actually offered to help us, though I don't know how well that will work since he still doesn't know about my having magic."

"Isn't that a good thing?" Asked Makiss, walking into the room, closing the door behind him.

Merlin gulped. "I don't know.. He is my best friend… It feels odd that he doesn't know about me. What if he hates me?"

Makiss laughed, walking over to grab Merlin, bringing him to his feet, he threw on a blue and silver cloak over his shoulders. "If he is your friend, he will not hate you long, Merls. Plus, you are too precious to hate you know that?" He clasped the cloak around him, turning to Makarias and awaking him.

Merlin knitted his eyebrows. "What are you doing?"

"We are going for a ride. Just the three of us." He says.

Merlin smiled, immediately grabbing for some supplies as Makiss woke and readied Makarias. As they grabbed bags and everything they needed, Merlin threw the bag over his shoulder. Gaius was staring at Merlin with prideful eyes.

Merlin chuckled nervously. "What is it, Gaius?" He asked.

He walked over and placed a wrinkled hand to Merlin's cheek. "I remember the fumbling idiot who first came into my room, clueless about a lot of things. Now you look like a man ready to face the world. I couldn't be more proud and I know your parents would think the same." Gaius assured him.

Merlin leaned into Gaius' hand, trying to hold in tears that threatened to spill. "Thank you for that Gaius." He says, hugging the physician.

Makarias and Makiss enjoyed the moment, seeing Merlin so happy was a bonus. They had been so worried to find Merlin in a different state than he is. They couldn't be more proud of him.

"Come on, we have to beat the sun." Makiss says.

Merlin broke the hug, saying his goodbye as he followed his brothers out of the room. They got stares as they walked through the castle, something Merlin hasn't had happen to him since he was back home. It felt odd being the center of attention again. It was one of the many things he didn't miss about being a Prince.

As they entered the courtyard, Merlin spotted Arthur and the knights by the training field, eyeing them in shock. Merlin tried to suppress a smile, walking over to the horses that Makiss seemed to already have ready. "So why are we taking a horse ride?" He asked.

Makiss smiled, leaning in close to Merlin. "We want to see how far you have come with your magic. We can't do that here, so we will be going away far enough for you to show us." He said, turning to get on his horse.

Merlin understood now, getting on his horse, he waited for his brothers to lead, following behind them and out of Camelot. He was excited to show off his magic for his brothers. It was one step closer to bonding with them again.
