Hitomi had the beginnings of a plan to get them a ship; but it would require some… unethical and frankly undesirable things. There was an alien gangster that ran a drug and sentient trafficking ring in the under city that was well connected. Moreover, he'd always fancied her from how she explained it to cap. Cap didn't like where this was going though…

"I can sleep with him in exchange for what we need: a ride to tatooine." "No Hitomi. No way." "Steve; it's the best chance we have given our situation." Task "I am strongly opposed to this as well cap." "I hate this too; more than you both put together. But I get the stakes. I've seen imperial evil firsthand. I get that the emperor is a total nut job. And Vader is his sadistic agent. You came here to do a job cap. I get that now. And you need help to do it. I'll be that person to make this play. This sacrifice. We'll all need to in the end."

Cap "there's another way." "What?" "I could assault this gangster and make him help us." Task "I like that idea more." "Sounds nice gents but the truth is it'll just draw the imps to us." Cap "how do you know this gangster won't betray us anyway? No matter how much he might want you." She sighed, then shook her head. "I don't cap. But the truth is this is our best shot. You said there are Jedi out there. They're the best chance we have. This is about freedom. This is war now. And war requires sacrifice to achieve victory. Am I wrong?"

Cap could only smile and shake his head. "No. You get it better than many others I've met." Pause. His smile faded. "But the price you're willing to pay is high. Too high…" "it's my choice cap. Right?" He exhaled and nodded slowly. "It is." "Then respect it." "I will. I don't have to like it though." "No you don't. That's fair. Let's go."

They perfected their plan. Hitomi had gone out alone to scout out this alien gangster's place to make a possible approach. As she did so task hacked into various gangster systems. Something he didn't like doing but cap had asked him to do. Why? Cap was hoping to find alternatives to the whole honey trap situation. Cap even hated to think that of Hitomi in that sense but in spy terms that's what she was.

"Cap! I may have an answer." "Go ahead task." "This gangster that Hitomi is so bent on approaching has a prized ship in his possession… a heavily modified Corellian freighter called the millennium Falcon…" cap frowned a little at that. "Can we steal it?" "We could; but it won't be easy." "Show me." Task displayed the gangster base layout with his holographic projector. Cap's eyes scanned over it. It didn't take him long to see what he needed to.

He brought up his com link. "Hitomi?" They were on a scrambled comm set for now. That would keep them ahead of the imps for now. "Steve. We're not to break silence…" "I know Hitomi. Task found something…" task updated her. "Good idea. Are you a pilot?" "More so now." Cap referred to being an angel and what that could do for skills. Hitomi "good. Because I'm not; but I can keep the ship flying."

"Hitomi; this changes the plan. We can do this a different way. A better way." Pause. "Hitomi." "Yeah. I copy you. All right. Hope this works."

She returned. "Your guys' timing was good. I'd almost went inside one of the gangster's bars to get things arranged…" "I'm glad it didn't have to come to that." She shared a small smile with cap too. "So am I."

Task "uh oh…" Hitomi "what does that mean?" "Troopers have entered the local security grid…" cap reached out with his power… the enemy was indeed coming. "Pack a bag now if you haven't. We go very soon." Hitomi didn't argue the issue.

Cap called his shield to his arm and went to a window. He kept lookout until they were ready to rollout. None came yet but it was just a matter of time. His power sensed them closing. Hitomi had mostly packed a go bag anyway. It didn't take her long. Her blaster was ready in her hand too.

"Ready?" "Ready." Cap had studied the area maps. Still, this was Hitomi's home. It was her call. "Take point." She did. "Follow me."

Cap: what all true leaders say.

The Imp patrol did reach her home area but not her home proper. But it didn't matter. They would find it soon enough. Their timing couldn't have been better. The one above all (who resembled a certain comic book editor) had willed it so. Cap had seen enough fantastic things as a superhero to not question things like that anymore.

They went deeper into the under city; where even the imps didn't go unless in force. Given the more exotic nature of their surroundings compared to cap's native earth cap could more openly walk with his shield visibly. None here seemed to care either way. Hitomi even had her blaster out in the open. Task floated right behind them.

Cap could sense the hive of scum and villainy all around them. He knew it was more complicated than that but he still detected the prevailing edginess all around. New York was like that in its own way. There were places you just didn't go unless in force or if you wanted trouble. They were already an armed force in that sense. Even so more trouble was what they didn't need. Even cap's taking down those troopers in the bar perhaps hadn't been the smartest thing to do. Hitting them was right but the timing wasn't. His idealism had gotten the better of him. Hardly the first time.

They arrived at the gang owned hangar bay that had ship sized tunnels that permitted various ships to come and go from the city planet. Obviously ones typically of shady purposes. They infiltrated an adjacent building and found a good window spot that overlooked the hangar bay.

There, sat the millennium Falcon…
