AN: So I ended up hurting myself and am on bed rest with nothing left to do but work on my stories so enjoy a little Easter treat as I upload chapter 5 early.

Rin wasn't at all surprised when she tried to walk past him that a rough hand tightly grabbed her. She looked over at him with a bored look on her face. She was already tired of dealing with the asshole. She was tired and hungry, wanting to eat something and go to sleep. She was at her limit with the annoying man.

"Where do you think you're going?" He hummed enjoying watching the woman glare up at him.

"Gonna wash my clothes, see if you have anything edible in this house and then make that spare room of yours into my new home," she said bluntly as she looked up at him and tried to pull herself free from his grip.

"There's no fun in any of that," Dabi said, still holding her arm and preventing her from being able to just walk away from him.

"I'm not looking for fun. I simply wish to eat and get some sleep. Unlike you I worked today and I'm exhausted," she growled looking up at him trying to keep herself from throwing a punch at him. She knew trying to physically fight him wouldn't be a good idea. But the more she watched him grin down at her the more irritated she became.

And Dabi could tell her patients were wearing thin as he smirked down at her watching her as she struggled to not blow up at him.

"Oh I'm hurt. I worked hard today too ya know," he said, faking a hurt look though his tone told her he was being sarcastic.

"Oh yeah stalking and kidnapping a woman is such a hard job," she growled at him. She knew getting mad at him was only giving him what he wanted but it was hard as he always seemed to knew what strings to pull to set her anger off.

"Watching over the wrench has been a pain in the ass as well," Dabi growled as his free hand snapped out and grabbed a fist full of her long red hair. His eyes glared down at the red locks that entangled his fingers. He hated the look of her red hair, it irritated him and the memories it brought up. Rin gasped and winced as her scalp felt like he was trying to rip her head off. Her hands reached up to claw at his wrists as his hand pulled her hair back forcing her to look up at the ceiling and even bend her back trying to release the tension in her scalp.

"Dabi," she whined softly when his grip didn't loosen and she felt like he may try to snap her spine in half. If he heard her he chose to ignore her as his grip didn't budge.

He leaned in towards her till she could feel his warm breath across her face. The smell of tobacco and smoke filled her nose, there was also a musty oak smell that she barely noticed as she looked up at him. Those hard cyan blue eyes of his were unwavering as she could feel the heat coming off his body in waves with his anger.

"Please," she whined softly as she felt tears start to fill the corner of her eyes at the pain that screamed through her body as she dug her nails into the flesh of his hand as she tried to think of a what out of his grip.

"Oh what's that? So the princess does know how to beg," Dabi growled down at her, mocking her as she struggled to not cry out as he was either gonna rip out her hair or snap her back at this rate. She even tried to shift her body and drop to her knees or even fall on her ass, anything to get rid of the pain.

"Please let go," she cried out squeezing her eyes shut. And as quickly as he had grabbed her hair he let go. The sudden absence of his hand holding her forced her to crumple to the floor struggling to grab at the door frame or the wall to brace herself as she ended up on the floor blinking wide green eyes up at him in surprise.

"There we go. Now isn't that a pretty site you on your knees, tears running down your cheeks," Dabi said once again patronizing her as she moved to sit on her knees meaning to go stand up before she paused to look up at him.

"You bastard," she hissed softly as she glared up at him.

"Remember to learn your place, little mouse," and with that he left her kneeling on the floor to the bathroom before he turned and walked out of the room heading back to the living room grabbing his beer from the coffee table that he had placed down before he got up off the couch to get her a shirt to wear.

With that she wiped the tears from her cheeks and gathered up her clothes that at some point she had dropped. Trying to avoid Dabi now she slipped through the house looking for his washing machine before tossing her clothes in and turning it on. She wanted to go to the kitchen and hunt for food but had no desire to encounter Dabi as she listened to the tv in the living room. Instead she changed her course and headed for the spare bedroom she had seen earlier during her little exploring of his home. Slipping into the room she closed the door softly looking looking down at the door knob hoping to find it locked and frowned when she realized there was not one.

With that was an uneasy realization that settled in her stomach. She did not like the idea that she couldn't lock the door. Though she had a feeling locking the door wouldn't stop Dabi from just breaking it down but at least she would know he was in or trying to get into the room. But without locking the door she found it hard to fall asleep. Although she liked to think if Dabi was gonna rape her that he would of done it earlier when she stood naked in his room, or would of done something when he had her incapacitated while trying to rip her scalp off. He seemed like at least the man had some sort of line that even he wouldn't cross. Or at least she had to hope he had some sort of moral line he wouldn't cross. But still she didn't trust the man and that made trying to fall asleep hard as she laid facing the door trying to keep her senses alert even as she started to drift off asleep.

Rin wasn't sure what time it was when she woke up. But sunlight was streaming in around the edges of the curtains hung up over the window of the room. Blinking the sleep from her eyes she slowly pushed herself up to sit up and look around the unfamiliar room before the memories of the last day sunk in. Ugh it wasn't just some bad dream, damn it. Slipping her feet over the edge of the bed she sat there for a second looking over her body. A few bruises lined her wrists and spotted her forearms where Dabi had most likely grabbed her roughly at some point the last day. But her body didn't hurt in any way; she didn't expect it too. So that meant Dabi hasn't paid her any visit in the middle of her sleep. She felt herself sigh and her body relaxed instantly. It was like a weight was lifted off her shoulders. So it seemed the villain did have a line he wouldn't cross.

Pushing herself off the bed she stood up and stretched hearing the odd pop from her stiff body. Well that felt slightly better as she walked towards the door. She carefully opened the door and poked her head out. She looked down the small hall. The place was quiet. But she had no idea where Dabi was or if he was awake. She couldn't deny the thought of trying to escape crossed her mind but there were so many issues. Silently she walked towards the bathroom needing to relieve herself before she tried to tackle Dabi for the day. Escaping really didn't seem like a good idea, not logically. Even if she happened to get past Dabi what would she do? They made it clear they knew who she was, they knew where she worked, most likely where she lived. She would have to get home, pack up her stuff and run for it. But where would she even run? That would also require money, money a poor broke barely fresh from college woman didn't have. She lacked the skills to be a person on the run. She could go to the police. And yet what good would that do it would still be a similar issue. She would have to go into hiding. Her career would be done for, she would lose that dream job she had at the hospital. She would probably need a new name.

So staying put at least for now seemed like the best course of action. But how much of Dabi could she take? The man was infuriating and at this rate they were surely going to claw each other's throats out before she would get a chance to get away safely. The best thing she could do was gain his trust and the trust of the League and then once she's got their trust she could make a run for it.

After rinsing her hands she once again poked her head out into the hall. The house was still quiet. No tv, no nothing. Was that a good sign? She sure hoped so as she slowly and carefully left the bathroom. Remembering her wet clothes she groaned softly to herself and headed for the laundry room. She was rather surprised to find the washing machine empty. A stone settled in her stomach as she assumed Dabi had taken her clothes from her.

"Fucking asshole," she growled under her breath as she glared at the washing machine. There wasn't anything she could do now that she fucked up and Dabi stole her clothes. With a sigh she turned from the machine and dragged her feet through the small apartment making her way towards the kitchen. Her growling stomach was demanding food and it was growing too hard to ignore.

The kitchen was small but at least clean upon first glance, though she wasn't sure how used it was. Dabi struck her as more of the take out every day or eating junk food kind of man. Throwing open the fridge door she wasn't surprised to find it rather empty and lacking. But it had a few things inside. Some eggs, tofu, milk and some random little things. Well at least it seemed like she could at least make an omelette or something though it would be rather plain with little to add. But her rumbling stomach wasn't about to argue as long as she was able to make something. Throwing some rice into a rice cooker she started on the eggs. It seemed the kitchen was at least well stocked on pots and pans and basic utensils so that made the actual cooking rather easy aside from the fact she had to hunt for what she needed.

The smell of cooking food quickly filled the kitchen and rest of the apartment as she worked at cooking a simple omelette after ransacking his kitchen. Suddenly she heard shuffling come from the living room before she could feel some eyes on her. Rin refused to look up from her work of the rice omelette she was making.

"Are you just gonna stand there and stare or are you gonna leave me alone?" She asked not even bothering to look over her shoulder as she placed the omelette on a plate and moved to look for some ketchup, she was sure she saw some somewhere earlier.

"Awe come now, I'm enjoying the view. It's not every day I see a woman cooking food in my clothes, in my kitchen," Dabi said, teasing the woman as she turned her back to him and walked through his kitchen. Taking the opportunity the man snatched up the plate before plopping a mouthful of the omelette into his mouth. Finding the ketchup the woman turned back towards her plate of food to find it gone.

"Hey that was mine!" She growled, turning her attention to the man for the first time since he entered the kitchen.

"It's not bad either," the man said smirking widely as he walked up and snatched the bottle from her hands before walking over to the small table that was hidden in the corner of the kitchen to eat his stolen meal.

Dabi looked more than pleased with himself as he ate her food forcing her to make another one quickly for herself. Though Rin had no desire to eat with the man as she stood in the kitchen leaning against the counter as she ate her food. Her eyes glanced over at him taking in the wrinkled white shirt he was wearing and the same dark pants. It looked like he had slept in the same clothes he was wearing the other day. She also remembers not hearing a door open or any other noises from the hallway. Did he sleep on the couch last night? She wasn't sure but she also wasn't about to ask him either. Instead she was trying her best to pretend the man didn't exist even as she could feel him watching her eat as she tried to inhale the food as fast as possible wanting to get away from his gaze.

With her meal finished she turned to the sink and started washing the dishes she had dirtied with her meal. She could hear the sound of a chair pushed across the floor of the kitchen as Dabi got up. Her breath hitched in her throat as she could nearly feel his body against her back as she could feel the warmth of his body against hers through her clothes. To close! He was too close but she was trapped between him and the counter.

"What's this? You just gonna give me the cold shoulder now? That doesn't seem very polite," he said leaning in towards her ear. The feeling of his warmth breathing against her ear sent a shiver up her back.

"I'm not here to be polite. And anyways you're far from polite yourself," she said as she tried to focus on the task of washing the few dishes in the sink.

"Oh but I think I've been very polite. I've given you clothes to wear, a warm bed to sleep in, and haven't burnt you to a crisp yet," Dabi mumbled into her ear. This had her clench her teeth.

"Before you took me away, I had my own clothes, bed and life," she growled through clenched teeth as she turned her head a little to glare back at him.

"You're thinking too hard about it," he hummed before he finally stepped back and away from her stuffing his hands into his pockets he left the kitchen. Her hands gripped the side of the counter as she took in a staggered breath trying to fight back the sting of tears that filled her eyes as she ran the back of her left hand over both eyes. She refused to cry in a place like this where she would remain strong. But how long could she hold out for?
