Emerald Forest

As Ragna was falling into the forest after being launched by the Headmaster, he braced himself for the impact since his semblance wouldn't be able to break his fall, nor would Aramasa as, unlike most other weapons everyone has, it can shoot bullets, and if he tried to swing on the trees with it in its other form, he'd just cut the trees down.

"Ow...ouch! SHIT MY HEAD!" Ragna cursed as his head was smacked against a rather thick tree branch.

Getting up, he dusted himself off and took in his surroundings. "Trees, trees and… more trees… well might as well get going, those relics aren't gonna just fall into my hands." He said to himself as he started walking off,

Almost immediately, several Ursa Grimm had surrounded Ragna and were about to attack him, only for them all to back off as they were hounded by gunshots. Looking around, Ragna saw that the shooter was the blonde girl who was talking with the small black-haired girl who had red highlights last night.

"Looks like I managed to scare them off!" Noel said, breathing a sigh of relief.

"Eh, could've handled 'em easily enough myself. Thanks for the help anyway, your name's Noel right?" Ragna asked her.

"Yes, that's right! So, it looks like we'll be a team from now on uh….." Noel stopped, realizing she didn't know her partner's name.

"Ragna" He introduced himself.

"Nice to meet you!" Noel beamed, "but uh.. Can your semblance not help with air travel?"

"Nope, couldn't use my weapon either, it can't shoot bullets and I'd just end up cutting down any trees if I tried to latch onto them." Ragna explained.

"But your sword-"

"It helps me shoot out my semblance at my enemies, not store bullets" He explained further.

"Okay, why's your semblance called Soul Eater? D-Do you actually eat souls?!" Noel asked, terrified.

"What? No! It just drains a person's aura and adds it to my own!" He defended himself, "Wait, I never told you my semblance's name how did you figure that out?" He asked her.

"O-Oh, that's my semblance. It's called The Eye. If I look at someone using it, it will tell me what their semblance is so long as they've used it at least once." She explained.

"And it didn't tell you what mine does because…?"

"I kinda turned it off the second I saw its name…."

"Oh, well what about Grimm? Can't imagine its any help against them since they don't have souls" He asked her.

"Well that's what Bolverk's for. I can hit anything no matter the distance and barriers so long as I can see it." She explained.

"Huh, so you've got a Nox Nyctores too?" He asked.

"Yeah, wait too? Do you have one?"

"No, I don't, I was referring to Jin."

"O-Oh…" Noel looked down.

"Uh, you alright?" Ragna asked her.

"Y-Yeah, I'm fine. I guess I was just hoping that I'd have something over him…"

"So I see. Well we need to get going and find these relics before they're all taken on us, let's go" He said, walking ahead.

"Right!" Noel said with determination, following behind him.

Jin had a much easier time landing as he had created an ice blade to ride on as he flew down to the ground. After he landed, he started traveling North. Not at all thinking about who he might be paired with. As he was walking, he encountered a few Beowolves who looked at him with pure murderous intent. Instead of showing panic as a few others might, he instead scowled and simply took Yukianasa out of its sheath and stabbed it into the ground, causing it to freeze. Before any of the Grimm could even process what had just happened, Jin created several ice blades that stuck out of the frozen ground, impaling the Beowolves who let out pained whines before eventually dissipating in a black smoke.

After dealing with the Grimm, Jin heard screaming from above and so created an ice slope. The screaming person had landed on the slope and began sliding down it and stopping in front of Jin. When they stopped, Jin recognized the person was Makoto.

"Ow, that could've gone better. Thanks for making my landing less painful Jin!" Makoto thanked him, rubbing her tail and behind.

"Let's just get going, we have no time to wait." Jin said as he was already walking off.

"Hey, at least wait for me! I just landed from the sky and we're going to be partners for the next four years! So maybe we could, oh I don't know, work together?" Makoto said, only for her words to fall on deaf ears, groaning and giving up any hope the he'd listen, Makoto started following him.

After Bang had landed in the forest he quickly looked around, having an idea that decided he must act on.

"Now I must find a Partner to fulfill my task, but I can't however just leave the less experienced people alone to the Grimm. I know! I will not go North until I have found a teammate and if I happen to encounter someone who needs help, then as a good Samaritan I shall help them, but not look them in the eye since direct eye contact is required to establish a partner!" Bang said as he was walking off in the opposite Direction.

Beacon Cliffs

Ozpin was watching the initiation and was so far, impressed. The stunt that Mr. Kazuki and Kurogane pulled at the start was quite something as it had never been done before. After hearing Bang's plan to help other students whilst avoiding a partner he couldn't help but chuckle.

"Very clever Mr. Shishigami, but I think you will find that is easier said than done." He said, taking a sip from his coffee.

"So far Ms. Noel Vermillion and Mr. Ragna have partnered up with each other. Ms. Vermilion's transcripts show average combat performance at best. Though her skills at utilizing her aura are above average and allows her to stand out most from her peers. There is also the fact that she has the Nox Nyctores, Bolverk, which allows her to stand out even more. Ragna on the other hand is a mysterious case from many perspectives, and the fact he doesn't have a last name since he's an orphan only adds to the mystery, much like Mr. Kazuki. I've seen Mr. Ragna's community papers and he has exceptional combat ability, though he is very ill-tempered. Which can be a problem with authority as the two are often at odds with each other." Professor Goodwitch had said, before continuing on after being confirmed that she still has Ozpin's attention.

"The next two are Jin Kisaragi and Makoto Nanaya. Judging from his transcript, Mr. Kisaragi has excelled at everything in both academics and combat. Though he has received criticism in regards to being able to work in teams. I just hope he learns to better cooperate with people. As for Ms. Nanaya, she excelled at combat in terms of physical capability but there's a risk that she may face problems due to her being a faunas, one with two traits might I add. Hopefully Mr. Kisaragi can assist her seeing as they had attended the same school together." Goodwitch further explained.

Emerald Forest

Currently fighting several Beowolves backed up by a few Ursa was a girl with dark skin, white hair and golden eyes, she has large breasts and a scar across her nose. She wears a black jacket with a white zipper tee shared with a certain mercenary group and torn-up denim short shorts, along with knee high brown boots with black heels, yellow-outlined straps and white metal-toes. A single belt crosses her waist with considerable length that has its tail end pointing out from her left-to-her right from behind, and she has a gauntlet-like weapon on her arms.

She had managed to down a few of the Beowolves and had punched an Ursa in the gut, sending it crashing into a tree.

"These things just don't know when to quit." She said to herself.

Suddenly several nails were thrown, impaling a few of the Beowolves. Before the girl or the Grimm could find where they had come from, Bang, jumping out from a tree, landed on the head of an Ursa, sending it to the ground and crushing its head, killing it.

"Fear not! For I, the Hero of love and justice, Bang Shishigami, have arrived!" Bang announced, jumping off of the dissipating Ursa and landing beside the girl. "Greetings!"

"Hey, name's Bullet." The girl introduced herself as Bullet.

"Well then Ms. Bullet. Let us show these creatures of Dark the power of justice!" Bang said, rushing in at the Beowolves and throwing several nails at them.

Bullet followed up by punching back any Ursa that got too close to him, eventually she ended up punching a hole through one of them. Bang was busy with an Ursa that had stuck by the Beowolves and was currently dodging it's attacks with ease. After throwing two nails into it's eyes and blinding it, Bullet came in from behind Bang and delivered a powerful blow to it's stomach, punching a hole through it and sending it into the last of the Beowolves.

"Thanks for the help, Bang, was it?" Bullet thanked him, walking up.

"Yes, that is correct, and you're welcome!" Bang said not facing her and starting to walk off.

"Hey, wait a minute!" Bullet called out, grabbing him by the scarf and turning him around. "We need a partner to complete this initiation and you're not just walking off and leaving me without one." She told him.

"Er, yes, you are right! My apologies. Let us head North then!" Bang said, now free from Bullet's grasp, the two started to head North towards the temple in order to get the relics.

As they were walking, Bullet noticed Bang looking around the forest in every direction.

"What are you looking for?" She asked him.

"Oh, I am simply looking for anyone else who might be in need of help!" He told her.

"You do know that others have probably partnered up by now, and if they've come to Beacon then they can fight, they'll be fine." She said to him, continuing to walk.

"I know that, but I cannot, in good consciousness, turn away from people who need my help. I know not to be foolish about how I help others, the scar on my face is a reminder of that. But aren't the duties of Huntsmen and Huntresses to protect the people?" He explained to her.

"Fine,but only if they're on our path, I don't want to deviate more than what's necessary." Bullet told him.

"Thank you Bullet, I really appreciate it."

After walking for a bit longer, the two of them noticed a Grimm heading right towards them, only to realise it had been thrown that way, after a few seconds, another Grimm had flown past them yet again. The person throwing the Grimm was an androgynous male character with violet hair tied in a bun and blue eyes with dark pink eye shadow and red lipstick. He wears a flowing pink and red kimono that exposes his shoulders underneath is a sleeveless black skin tight turtleneck, black shorts and legwarmers, and red platform sandals. He also sports a translucent pink scarf which appears to be levitating.

The person was apparently using the scarf as a weapon, using it to throw the Grimm.

"Those mindless beasts trying to ruin my outfit," the man said to himself.

"Hey, do you mind being more careful? My companion and I were almost hit by the Grimm you tossed!" Bullet told him in an irritated tone whilst Bang tried to calm her down.

"Oh, my apologies! I wasn't paying attention. My partner had run off somewhere and I was trying to find her. Then these Grimm showed up and well, you know the rest. Anyway, My name Amane Nishiki. The two of you are?" Amane introduced himself.

"Bullet" She told him.

"Bang Shishigami, and if you'd like we shall help you find your partner!" Bang told him.

"That's nice but that won't be necessary, I have a good idea of how far she went where she's at. The two of you should just continue on to the temple soon, I don't know how long the professors intend to wait." Amane told them, "good luck by the way!" He told them as he was walking off.

"Good luck to you too Amane!" Bang called out, " Now, Bullet, I intend to use my semblance to get us to our destination, Bullet, would you mind if I carry you there?" He asked.

"No need Bang, once I use my semblance, then my gauntlets will allow me to travel at high speeds." Bullet explained, readying a stance.

After Bullet explained to Bang, she generated her aura and had started to furiously punch the ground and the area around them had started to quake. After a few more seconds, Bullet stopped, her body generating a fiery aura as well as an intense heat.

"That gave me a good charge. I call my semblance Burning Charge and every time I hit something, I get stronger from it. Next, I just have to activate the shoulder gear of my gauntlet on my right shoulder, then I'll be able to go faster and stronger in one direction. Hopefully this saves some time. Think you can keep up, Bang?" she asked, readying her gauntlet.

"Do not worry, I shall be able to keep up using my semblance as well!" Bang told her before taking a deep breath.

"FU-RIN-KA-ZAN!" Bang yelled which activated his semblance, causing his body to generate a yellow aura.

"Now! Let's go, Bullet!" Bang yelled as both he and Bullet sped off in the direction of the temple.

Beacon Cliffs

"The last pair has been formed sir. It is Bang Shishigami and another student by the name of Bullet. Master Tenjo had spoken highly of Bang's initiatives, though we have been told he tends to have a one track mind when it comes to said duties. As for Bullet, she is the third student without a second name. I know it's a common thing for orphans in Vacuo but I still find it hard to stomach that she has five years of experience as a mercenary. Though records show that she mainly does Bodyguard work and Grimm extermination, I suspect that she will have a hard time adjusting to how things work in Vale. Still, they should fare better than Amane Nishiki and Tao Kaka." Goodwitch told Ozpin only to notice he wasn't listening and was instead paying a lot of attention to his scroll's camera feed.

Emerald Forest

"So how much further is it?" Naoto asked his partner.

The two had been walking for quite a while, mostly due to Kazuki's insistence that he felt some strange energy in the area they were in. They were still on the path to the temple and relics so they decided to check it out. Though even if it wasn't on the path, Kazuki told Naoto that he'd still go and check it out.

"We're here" Kazuki told him, rubbing his head due to a headache that had been getting stronger the closer they got.

Suddenly, a bright flash of light appeared before them, the two covered their eyes from the bright light. When it faded, they looked to see a boy with pale skin and green hair whose bangs cover his eyes completely. He wears a white top and black bottoms, as well as a short cloak with gold lining, he has a purple ribbon tie that holds the cape in place and wears black shoes.

"Hazama!?" Naoto shouted in surprise, getting into a fighting stance.

"No, it's not, Hazama wears a long dress coat with a black fedora, remember?" Kazuki told him, putting his arm in front of his partner.

"Uh… How-"

"Phantom Boundary, remember? What, you thought you were the only person I met there?"

"Then who is he?" Naoto asked, dropping his stance.

"Let's ask him, cause I don't think he's Terumi." Kazuki said, walking up and poking the boy.

The boy doesn't wake up and instead rolls around, Kazuki, not wanting to waste time, slaps the boy across the face, causing him to jump up.

"W-What!? Where am I!?" the boy gets up asking, confused.

"Woah woah woah! Calm down, we'll explain everything but first we need to know who you are." Kazuki told the boy, trying to calm him down.

The boy looks at Kazuki and Naoto in fear but decides to answer their questions anyway.

"K-Kazuma, Kazuma Kval… please, where am I?" He tells them.

"Well for starters, you're not in your world anymore, or rather the version of it you knew." Kazuki tells him, "Kazuma, what was the LAST thing you remember before ending up here?"He asks

"The last thing… oh God what have I done!? Trinity and Nine! They're-I… I killed them… then I remember fighting Hakumen and Jubei, or rather I remember HIM using my body to fight them, then he jumped into the boundary with my body and… here I am…" Kazuma tells them, with regret in his voice.

"Who's Him?" Naoto asks, afraid he already knows the answer.

"Yuuki Terumi" Kazuma tells them.

Kazuki stands up and walks behind Kazuma, placing a hand on his back, a green glow shines from his hand. Kazuma starts to freak out a little thinking he's about to die and Naoto looks at Kazuki with confusion.

The glow fades and Kazuki steps back, "well looks like you and Terumi don't share the same body anymore." He tells Kazuma who is at first relieved but then gets nervous.

"Then where is he now?" He asks.

"Probably still in the Boundary. Look, we should get going, I'll explain everything to you on the way, now let's go." Kazuki tells them both, walking North to the temple.

"Let's go… just… prepare for a massive headache…" Naoto tells him, following Kazuki.

"Not like I can go anywhere else… wait what do you mean, Not the world you know?" Kazuma asks, running up to them.

The Temple

It had taken them a short while to actually get to the temple, Naoto, Kazuki had taken to explaining what Remnant was, Naoto would explain certain things as a way of showing Kazuki he still remembered, while Kazuki explained the whole "Timelines" thing to him.

"That's… crazy…" was all Kazuma could say, "so, this world is a combination of two?"

"That's right, it's rare but it can happen, though this is the first time it's happened without outside interference, that I know of anyway."

"Wait, what's that supposed to mean?" Naoto asked.

"It means that a certain, God knows how long, Vampire Man-Child decided to have fun and throw people from his own universe - no wait, multiverse? - gah whatever, decided to throw people from his own multiverse into a universe that exists outside it." Kazuki told, sounding particularly annoyed when he mentioned the Vampire, "And before either of you ask, no his last name is not Alucard."

"Well then what is his last name?" Kazuma asked.

"I ain't pronouncing it, heck I can't! German words are enough of a pain in the ass, never mind that Vampire's last long as hell name!" Kazuki told him, even more annoyed, "If I could kill him, I would…"

They were getting even closer to the temple when Kazuki noticed Ragna looking at them, pure rage in his eyes. Suddenly, Ragna rushed towards Kazuma with his sword out, preparing to swing it down.

"TERUMIII!" He roared and as he swung his blade down Kazuki pushed Kazuma aside and-

CLANG!

[Cue: '03 - Barren Wasteland ~ MS Gundam IBO (OST I) [ZR]']

Kazuki had yet again stopped Aramasa, with the same sword as before too. Everyone else who was at the temple was looking at what had just happened confused and concerned that Ragna had just attacked three students out of nowhere.

"GET OUT OF MY WAY! I'M GONNA MAKE THAT BASTARD PAY FOR WHAT HE'S DONE!" Ragna roared at Kazuki.

Jin looked over to see Kazuma on the ground fearing for his life, curious, he looked at his brother and saw that same rage in his eyes that he had when he yelled out that name.

"Terumi…. Is that the one that destroyed the church and…" Jin thought to himself.

"Calm down! This isn't that Terumi guy you just yelled about! His name is Kazuma Kval!" Kazuki told Ragna.

"Oh yeah? Did he tell you that?!" Ragna asked, pushing Kazuki back in their sword struggle.

"Yeah, he did, and trust me, if the Terumi you're thinking about is the same one I am, the Kazuma wouldn't be here right now." Kazuki told him in a serious tone. "Now calm the fuck down before I get your brother to help me knock you out!"

Ragna took another glance at Kazuma and noticed how terrified he was, scoffing, he backed down and put his blade on his back.

"Alright then, just who is Kazuma then?" He asked.

Quickly thinking of a plan, Kazuma stood up and spoke.

"I'm that Snake's younger brother!" He said, causing the three around him to look at him in surprise. "I seriously hope he believes that…"

"And I'm supposed to believe that you aren't just as sadistic as he is!?" Ragna roared, placing his hand on Aramasa's grip.

"If you must know that bastard killed everyone I cared about and made me watch! If you think I want anything to do with him then you're wrong!" Kazuma yelled in anger, surprising Kazuki and Naoto due to how timid he was before.

Ragna looked at him with a thoughtful look before turning around.

"Fine, sorry. I'll trust you for now." He said walking back to the temple, before though, he stopped, "But if I catch you doing anything that Terumi would, I'll kill you." He warned before walking back.

"That was too close…." Kazuki commented, "well let's go and collect our pieces."

[End Song]

Upon getting back to the others, Ragna was met by Jin standing in his way, alongside Makoto and Noel.

"Brother… this Terumi… is he…" Jin was going to finish asking but stopped himself when Ragna looked at him and just nodded.

Makoto and Noel were about to say something but Jin stopped them with a look and shook his head.

"Don't. It's personal business that has nothing to do with either of you." He told them

"Oh and it does with you?" Makoto asked, annoyed.

"Yes, it does, we are Brothers after all" He told them again before walking away.

Over by Bang and Bullet was Amane with his partner, who was revealed to be Tao Kaka. Bang had proceeded to scold Tao on leaving her partner behind while Bullet looked indifferent and Amane let out a small chuckle.

Walking up to the altar at the temple were chess pieces, two pawns and two white rook pieces. Naoto went to grab a rook only for Kazuki to stop him.

"Don't, we'll take the pawns, the rooks are for Jaune and Pyrrha." He told him.

"Who?" Naoto asked.

"You'll see."

[Cue: '24 - Standing on the edge of the cliff ~ MS Gundam IBO (OST II) - [ZR]']

When they looked up they saw that a Giant Nevermore, a large bird grimm, was circling around them. Then out of the trees came a Giant Deathstalker, a large scorpion grimm, chasing after a red-head in a brown overbust corset with a vertical strip of lighter brown in the center. Additionally, she wore an elastic, black, A-line mini skirt and brown opera-length gloves on both arms. She wore a red ankle-length sash that wrapped around her skirt.

"Pyrrha!" Jaune called out, concerned for his partner.

Pyrrha managed to get away from the Deathstalker by shooting it in one of its eyes and quickly making her way over to Jaune, after seeing that eachother were alright, they each grabbed the last chest pieces.

Unfortunately for the group of students, more Grimm had come out of the forest and started to approach them. Getting into combat stances, Kazuki, Naoto, Ragna and Jin each prepared to hold the Grimm back, only for the Giant Nevermore to shoot its feathers down at them.

"Crap! Everyone scatter!" Naoto called out.

Everyone managed to dodge the razor sharp feathers and had managed to take down any Grimm that got too close.

"We can't take them all on here! We'll get surrounded and wiped out!" Ragna said as he cleaved a Beowolf in two.

"Then we run! Let's go!" Bang called out. They all began running through the forest and came across the ruins of an even larger temple, seeing the Bridge, Jin had gotten an idea and stabbed Yukianasa into the ground, freezing the bridge and providing a wall so no one fell off.

"Everyone, get across now!" He ordered.

Everyone except for Jin and Kazuki had run across the bridge, Causing Jin to scowl as Grimm had gotten too close. Looking to his side, he saw that Kazuki had blue motes of light in the shape of wings on his back, Kazuki simply looked at him and nodded. Understanding what to do, Jin let the bridge shatter, causing Weiss to look over in horror as she saw that Jin was still on the other side.

"Jin!" She called out to him. She felt Naoto place his hand on her shoulder as he pointed to Kazuki.

"They'll be fine." He told her.

Looking over, she now saw that Kazuki was flying and carrying Jin over, landing down next to them Kazuki let go of Jin and the two looked over at all the Grimm that had stopped, only for the Deathstalker to start THROWING more Grimm at them.

"Tch! Noel, Ruby! The three of us will shoot them down, the rest of you will have to deal with the ones we miss! Kazuma!" Kazuki turned to him, "can you fight?" He asked him.

"Y-yeah! Of course I can! Hm?" placing his hands in his pockets Kazuma pulled out two butterfly knives and looked at them.

"Let's hope you share more with Terumi than just his looks." Naoto said to him.

"Wait! What about the Nevermore?" Makoto asked, pointing at the flying Grimm that had landed on the cliff behind them.

"Crap… let's see…" Kazuki said, pondering on what to do.

"I have a plan but I'll need to be with my team!" Ruby spoke up.

Kazuki looked at the Nevermore and the soon-to-be-formally made Team RWBY, he nodded giving her the 'Go ahead'

[Cue: 'BlazBlue Central Fiction OST - TRUE BLUE']

Kazuki had quickly projected a large black Minigun and had started firing upon the Grimm alongside Noel while Ragna and Makoto had taken to killing the ones that made it past them. Jin and Bang had joined in and started sending nails and ice blades at the grimm that were on the other end of the cliff.

Bullet, Amane and Tao began to deal with Grimm that were climbing up the walls to reach them. Bullet had punched a Beowolf's head so hard that it came right off and hit another one in the head, knocking back towards Tao who proceeded to slice it apart with her claws. Amane was dodging strikes from the Grimm gracefully while Jaune and Pyrrha were blocking strikes with their shields before their teammate, Nora Valkyrie, smacked the Grimm away from them with her Hammer, Magnhild.

Kazuma was faring surprisingly well and was cutting and slashing Grimm across their bodies before Lie Ren, another person who had taken a white rook piece, finished them off with his dual smg-knives, Stormflower. Just as a Grimm was about to hit Ren from behind, a Green Snake attached to a green metal chain struck it in the chest, leaving a gaping hole. Ren looked over to Kazuma who seemed as equally surprised at his hidden weapon, the two spared a glance before changing tactics to where Ren would distract the Grimm while Kazuma used his Snake chain to ensnare and trap them while Ren took that chance to slit the Grimm's throats.

Back with Blake, a fair-skinned young woman with wavy black hair and amber eyes, wearing a black bow on her head and a black, buttoned vest with coattails and a single silver button on the front. Underneath this is a white, sleeveless, high necked, crop undershirt and white shorts with a zipper on the front of each leg, emblazoned with the YKK logo, she also wears black low-heeled boots and full stockings with a color gradation of black to purple at her ankles. Her emblem is visible on the outside of both thighs just below her shorts in white. On her left arm is a black detached sleeve with a silver cuff around her bicep, and black ribbons are wrapped around both forearms. A small, loose, black scarf is wrapped around her neck, and a gray magnetic backpack is strapped to her back, hidden by her hair. She often keeps her weapon attached to the magnetic backpack when she is not using it. She had been knocked off her tower alongside her team when the Nevermore crashed into it, using the ribbon of her weapon, Gambol Shroud, she wings around the ruins before finally reaching another pillar, wrapping around it and throwing the blade part of Gambol Shroud to Yang, who had just gotten back to the ground after sending several shots down the nevermore's throat causing it to crash into a wall, allowing her to stab it into her pillar.

"Ice-Queen"

"It's Weiss!"

"Whatever, think you can launch me to the top of the cliff from here?" Naoto asked.

"What why?!" She asked.

"Just do it!" He told her, jumping on the ribbon.

Using her semblance, Weiss summoned a black glyph that pulled Naoto and the ribbon back, aiming above the cliff, she released it sending Naoto flying up to the top of the cliff.

Back down with Weiss, Ruby had placed herself and her Scythe, Crescent Rose, onto the ribbon. Weiss once again summoned a black glyph but this time aimed it AT the nevermore. Releasing the glyph, Ruby added extra power by firing a bullet from the top of Crescent Rose.

Landing feet first on the wall next to the nevermore's head, Ruby had Crescent Rose's blade hooked right around the Grimm's neck. Weiss summoned several white glyphs on the wall, allowing Ruby to run up them. Using the shots from Crescent Rose to increase her speed, Ruby dragged the Nevermore up the cliff and launched it into the air.

"It's now or never" Thought to himself as his Hair turned to a pure White and his eyes a blood red, had he been wearing a red jacket, he would've been mistaken for Ragna, Naoto was now in his Blood Repulsor state, mustering up as much of his blood as he can, he bit back a scream as a Scythe made of blood appeared in Naoto's hands.

Jumping down towards the Nevermore and past a wide-eyed Ruby who got to the top of the cliff, Naoto brought the Blood-scythe down onto the Nevermore's beak, shattering it. It tried to fly away but Naoto wasn't going to let it, sending another side-ways slash, cutting its eyes and blinding it.

"There is no Afterlife"

He speeds up, slicing the nevermore into more and more bits and pieces.

"Edge of"

Using Wiess' glyphs to keep himself and the Nevermore on the cliff-side, Naoto jumps into the air, going in for the finishing strike. He swings the blood-scythe over his head, going for an overhead strike, in one fluid motion, Naoto tilts the scythe slightly, slicing it's head clean off and cutting a deep slash across the cliff.

"ETERNITY!"

What's left of the Nevermore begins to fall down, no longer being supported by the glyphs, Naoto quickly runs back up the cliff to where Ruby is to avoid falling down with the Nevermore. Naoto pants, his breath ragged. He grips his right arm in pain as his eyes and hair return to normal, while Ruby quickly checks up on him.

Down below, everyone could only watch in awe at what happened.

Jin, Noel, Kazuki and Bang had finished with their Grimm when Jin made an ice-wall to block the Grimm. The Four of them managed to turn around in time to witness Naoto's feat.

Even Jin must admit that he was impressed. Noel and Bang were standing there, mouths agape much like everyone else, while Amane held a smirk and Kazuki could only look at his partner with pride. Pyrrha Nikos however could only show an excited smile as what she saw was a challenge. A true fight.

Beacon Auditorium

It had been a few hours since the initiation ended, and now everyone was being assigned teams, of the teams that had been name were Teams RWBY consisting of Ruby, Weiss, Blake and Yang, Team JNPR that consisted of Jaune, Nora, Pyrrha and Ren and Team CRDL consisting of Cardin Winchester,Russel Thrush, Dove Bronzewing and Sky Lark. That last team being one led by a racist bully, someone who Ragna and Naoto would deal with.

The part that confused Naoto and Kazuki was that Ozpin had asked Kazuma to stay with them, why they had no idea.

"Ragna, Jin Kisaragi, Noel Vermillion and Makoto Nanaya. Please come onto the stage." Ozpin called for the four.

The four of you have collected the Black Knight pieces, so from this day forward you will be known as Team RJNN (Raijin), led by… Ragna." Ozpin had said as everyone started clapping.

"Next up, Bang Shishigami, Bullet, Amane Nishiski and Tao Kaka, please step forth." Ozpin called the next set of students up.

"The four of you have collected the Black Rook pieces. From this day forward you will be known as Team BLST (Blast), led by…. Bang Shishigami." Ozpin had said to the applause of the auditorium. He noticed that Bang seemed the most surprised to the revelation, more so than Jaune Arc, something Ozpin made a mental note on as the four of them left the stage.

"Now then for the last team, would Kazuki, Naoto Kurogane and Kazuma Kval please step forward?" Ozpin called out.

Glynda looked like she was about to smack Ozpin in the back of the head while the three boys were just confused, deciding they'd ask later, they stepped up.

"The three of you collected the Black Pawn pieces, now unlike Team BLST, I can't exactly just take letters from your names to name your team, so instead, I shall allow the three of you to name your team." Ozpin told him, getting mixed reactions from the crowd, some jealousy and others, like the three teens, confusion.

Kazuki looked to the two beside him, seeing if they had any suggestions.

"I got nothing." Naoto told him with a shrug.

"I'm fine with anything really." Kazuma said.

Kazuki looked down, deep in thought. There were many things in his past life that mattered dearly to him, from his sister, his brothers-in-arms... the ones that became a second family to him... deciding on a name he looked at Ozpin.

"Tekkadan, our team name will be Tekkadan." He told the headmaster.

Naoto looked at Kazuki with curiosity. "Why 'Tekkadan'? I mean, it means 'Iron Flower'... I'll ask him later" He thought.

Ozpin noted the look of confusion on Naoto's face, implying he knew what it meant. Deciding it's something that they'd have to deal with as a team, he'd leave it be. "Well then, you three will be known as Team Tekkadan, led by Kazuki." He announced.

Makoto watching along with everyone else but was confused with why Kazuki went with Tekkadan as it just seemed like some random word, but then she noticed the smile on Kazuki's face. It was… sad somewhat, like he was reminiscing and had remembered something. Either way it wasn't her business.

Author Notes: Here it is, the fourth chapter with even more hints towards Kazuki's past life, though these ones were more obvious than others.
