Vaggie tolerated Val carrying her up until they were in the "comforts" of his living area at the studio.
As soon as they were in private, Vaggie delivered a hard kick to his stomach.
She was aiming for his dick but the dude was tall, okay?
But Vaggie was at her limit for today, she handled all his shitty behavior and unwanted groping all damn day. She was tired and pissed off.
Valentino let out a grunt, being taken off guard enough that Vaggie could finally wiggle out of his arms and land safely on the floor.
She quickly rushed off to the other side of the room, looking back at the now angry Valentino.
"You little!-" Valentino hissed, glaring down at the smaller moth.
"No more touching." Vaggie said bluntly, ignoring his anger, "Do whatever the fuck you want in public but keep your damn hands off me whenever we're here!"
Valentino paused before chuckling, taking a few steps forward Vaggie, making her walk back to retain some personal space, "Oh, I hate to be the one to break this to ya but I am your husband, I can and will touch you whenever I like,"
Vaggie frowned, a hint of worry in her chest, would he...force himself on her?
From what she's heard from Angel, he probably wouldn't be against it, but if Alastor failed her and she married him. She resisted the urge to shiver at the idea of him making her follow through with their wedding night.
"Well I don't want you to," Vaggie said, her back hitting the wall as Valentino pinned her down.
Valentino chuckled, "You seriously think that would stop me?" he asked leaning down.
For a second she panicked but thinking on instinct, the moment he got too close to her face she delivered a hard punch to his face.
He yelped in pain and Vaggie thinking fast delivered a kick to his legs, knocking him off balance, and making him fall over.
Vaggie knew this wouldn't keep him down long, and to keep him down, in the most literal sense she had to get on his level.
She immediately placed herself on top of him, pinning him down this time.
Valentino was visibly surprised by this but no signs of anger, slowly he chuckled. "Are you sure you aren't warming up to me?"
"Shut up and listen for once." Vaggie states bluntly, "My turn, I'm gonna offer you a deal."
Though no one would have guessed it, Vaggie was panicking on the inside. She didn't know Valentino well or how he would react to her proposition, hell, she barely thought through her little "proposition". But, she needed some peace of mind while Alastor was keeping his end of the deal. Maybe this would work for now.
"If it keeps us in this position, do continue," Valentino chuckled.
"You won't lay a damn hand on me while we're alone unless you have been given explicit permission by me or I initiate it first." Vaggie began, "Understand?"
Valentino hummed, seeming to not take her seriously as his eyes roamed over her body yet again. Maybe she should have changed before doing any of this, "And pray tell, what will happen if I don't comply?"
This was the part Vaggie didn't think out.
But, after a quick moment, she thought of something that might work.
"If you don't I'll tell all of hell that my husband has a micro dick that comes two minutes into sex and leaves me unsatisfied every night." Vaggie blurted out, though didn't sound any less determined.
Valentino laughed, "Like anyone would believe that! I have several other whores that can vouch for me."
"Correction Val," Vaggie said, sounding way too calm, "Your whores work for you, they have to say your good no matter what, and anyone that you've ever fucked has been after you for the money or your power, or whatever. However, I am to be your loving wife, I got with you because I 'love' you. I have no reason to lie. And thus, I am the most reliable source on that information."
Valentino slowly processed this information and let out a low growl, "But telling people anything of the sort would break our deal."
"You said, to not let people know about our deal and make people think that we're genuinely in love. Nothing about making people think we had a good sex life." She finally got off of Valentino and walked off, "Besides surely it wouldn't be too hard for you to get around this,"
"And what's that suppose to mean?" Valentino asked, clearly annoyed, as he rose up.
"Ah, c'mon! You're motherfucking Valentino, are you seriously unable to win me over?" Vaggie huffed, "Surely you can use all of your 'charms' to make me want you touching me or some shit right?"
It seems that Vaggie finally got a leg up on him, it seemed she finally found one of Valentino's weak points, his pride.
He stood back on his feet, seeming to glare down at Vaggie, "You wanna play like that? Fine, I'll go along," he let out a bitter chuckle, "Give me a week and you'll be begging me to have my hands all over you."
"We'll just have to see about that won't we?" Vaggie hummed, though in reality took the biggest sigh of relief in her entire afterlife.
Everything she said and did legit just came out of the top of her head, it was impulsive and reckless but unlike some other times it worked out in her favor. She knew that this wouldn't do much, it wasn't an enforced demonic deal and Valentino could easily not keep his word for long, but it would save her some stress even if it was just for a short while.
"I'll look forward to the victory," Valentino chuckled, as he walked into the living room.
Vaggie supposed he expected her to follow him, but instead, she went to work on locating her actual clothes then heading into the bathroom, she wanted to take a shower but there was no lock on the door and regardless of Valentino's agreement she didn't trust him not to walk in and peek.
Instead, she opted to washing all of the heavy makeup off her face and changing out of her slutty dress then back into her usual outfit.
She really wished she had her phone, she needed to know what was going on and how everyone was handling the news of her marriage. How was Charlie doing? What was Alastor doing? Did Lucifer deliver on his promise?
She knew of nothing going on and that made her worry more.
Regardless of what was going on outside of the studio, she still had plenty to worry about staying with Val.
Hell, she had to spend the night with him, god she hoped that they could at least get separate rooms or at least a bed so big that they couldn't even close to each other.
With a defeated sigh, she finally walked out of the bathroom.
Walking around the darkened flat, there were plenty of doors leading to plenty of rooms which meant she might actually have a solid chance at sleeping alone tonight.
She walked back into the living room, being both too worried or too scared of what she would find if she opened any of the doors. She hates to find his weird kinky sex dungeon or whatever he kept in this damn place.
Valentino seemed to have calmed down after his last encounter. He was sat down on his couch, in the living area, his hat having been taken off and discarded somewhere else in the room, a laptop sat on his lap as he typed away, seeming to have not noticed Vaggie as of yet.
She paused, wondering what she should say or if she should say anything after all. But, there was one simple question she needed to ask and she wanted the answer to it now.
"Where's my room?" she asked bluntly, not even bothering to sugarcoat anything.
He looked up, letting out a small chuckle, "Don't you mean our room sweetheart?" he asked, his grin widening seeing Vaggie glare at him. Lazily he raised a hand and motioned to the other side of the hall, "You can stay in the guest room, three doors down on the right. But don't be shy, my room is always open in case ya want company."
"Eat shit." Vaggie barked out, about to turn away and find the room he talked about.
"Wait." he called out suddenly, seeming to have noticed something, "You're wearing that again?"
Her frowned deepened as she looked at him, "Uh, yeah. I don't have any other clothes remember?" she asked in a mocking tone.
"Well that won't do, I'll have to take you out shopping sometime this week." He said dismissively turning back to his work.
Vaggie blinked, "Excuse me?"
"What? You are my bride to be and I best make sure my future wife is wearing the best clothing shouldn't I?" He asked, not turning his attention away from his work.
"I think you and I have very different ideas of 'best'," she informed sarcastically, remembering how happy he was to see her in that slutty dress, she already had her doubts about her insanity surviving this marriage and dressing like a cheap hooker all the time would not help it.
Valentino was about to respond with equal snark to her comment when suddenly the front door slammed open, with a very frantic-looking imp secretary, nearly panting as she looked at the confused couple.
"Valentino sir-"
"Dammit, Denise what the hell have I told you about knocking!?" Valentino yelled out annoyed.
"I know, I know, I know sir!" the imp woman said breathlessly, "But...but...it's important! The princess is asking for you!"
Valentino frowned, "The princess?"
"Charlies here?" Vaggie asked hopefully.
"Yes...well," Denise paused for a bit, "She asked for your fiance and...she was not happy."
Suddenly Valentino smirked, his expression very smug, "Oh? Direct her to one of my meeting rooms, we'll see to her shortly."
"Sir, you don't understand. She is threatening to break in here if you don't see her in the lobby immediately-"
"I understand fully Denise." Valentino interrupted firmly, "And tell Miss. Charlie that if she doesn't comply that something bad will happen to my bride-to-be, okay?"
The imp frowned, giving Vaggie a concerned look before turning back to Valentino and nodding, walking off as she closed the door behind her.
"What the hell are you planning?" Vaggie yelled out, hopeful that Charlie was here and she might finally get out of this situation but equally worried Valentino was going to ruin it for her.
"We're about to give your princess one hell of a show," he quipped grabbing Vaggie firmly by her wrist and close to him, "We have to keep up this loving couple act, especially toward her. So follow my lead okay?"
Vaggie growled at him, having to restrain herself from slapping him. Even though the situation still wasn't ideal, Charlie was here and if she did this right, she could let her know something was up.
How the hell she was suppose to do that while acting like she loved Valentino? No idea. But she'll figure something out.
