"Holy shit... you're built..."

Takashi was still in highschool, and his body was still maturing. At the moment, he was looking at an athlete with the body of an adult. Taller than him, more muscular than him, but without the looks of an aged man that came with being an older man. He looked like he jumped straight out of a athletic competition.

"Hmmm? Thanks?" Naruto stated as he washed his hair. "The girls are waiting to go next, so lets not take too long." The bathroom was big enough to fit small groups of people, but because Naruto was completely covered in his own blood, and zombie blood, he ended up insisting that he and the men take showers first.

'You're both built...' Kohta could only look at both boys and see them as physically superior.

"So, you're Busujima-senpai's senpai?" Takashi asked Naruto.

"Not really, we didn't go to the same school, but we both did kendo. She just calls me that out of respect at this point... well I'm done." Naruto stood up and wrapped a towel around his waist. He shook the water out of his hair, leaving the bathroom.

-In the Living Room-

"... Holy shit... you're built..."

"Takashi said the same thing, well, I'm done and the other boys are going to be done soon. I'm going outside to clear the building next door... you mind cooking dinner Saeko?" Naruto asked as he cracked his neck and knuckles. He was freshly showered, his body had healed, and he was ready to put himself to work.

"Idiot, you're too valuable to go alone, even more so after recovering from bloodloss! Don't you realize that you're the cure to this issue!?" Saya poked him in the chance, stepping between him and the door. He wasn't a part of their group, and she didn't trust that such an important person could keep themselves safe.

Naruto put his hand on her face.

His hand covered more than half of her face.

"I've killed dozens and dozens of zombies with my bare hands, and even if they bite me, it doesn't kill or turn me-"

"Them." Rei interrupted him. "We call them Them."

"They are zombies, die when bitten and turn into them when dead... it's textbook zombie, and them is kind of a stupid name. Them also implies that those things are still people." Naruto pointed out the window where a couple of zombies could be seen walking around, searching for food. Naruto crossed his arms, before he sighed and nodded his head. "... but I guess I can take Takashi with me when he gets out of the bath." Naruto shrugged his shoulders and gave in to Saya's reasonable statement.

"Why not Rei or Saeko? They are both fighters?" Saya argued.

"Women are more valuable than men right now, Saeko is one thing, but the fact remains that the majority of the world is dead now. Humans going extinct is also something to worry about. The strong men should fight, and if they want to the strong women can join the fight, but we need most women to stay protected, and some men to stay protected, so that we can protect the human race." Naruto argued against taking half of the women in the group.

Saeko nodded in agreement, surprising Rei and Saya.

"I agree with that, but I will still fight. I can't stand aside and let a good man go into battle without a good woman to have his back." Saeko bowed her head to Naruto. She grabbed her kendo sword, and prepared to go out with Naruto and clear the next house.

Saya and Rei exchanged glances.

'I can't tell if he's sexist and views women as only good for breeding when Saeko takes his side like that.'

'I know, right.'

"Not true Saeko, staying safe is an important job for women. We men want to come home and see our women safe and happy, it gives us the energy to continue the fight. You don't need to come out of obligation, but I won't say no to the back up." Naruto pat the top of her head. She was flustered for a moment and moved his hand from her head.

"Senpai... I'm not 15 anymore... I'm 18 now."

"Cool, and I'm still older than you, so you're just my cute little Psycho... aren't you just my adorable little manslayer."

"PFFFT! Hahahahaa... stop... STOP HAHAHA... I'm ticklish there... STO-HAHA-P!?

Naruto was just tickling Saeko underneath her arms as he took her to the ground, and he didn't stop until she was barely breathing, red in the face and sweating. Naruto stood up when he was done with her, and he just grabbed his jacket from the couch and put it on. Rei turned bright red with Saya when he threw the towel from around his waist and grabbed a pair of pants he had laid out for himself, and put them on as well.

'I just saw dick.'

'That was American or European levels of...' Saya covered her mouth from the humiliation, stunned into absolute silence. "Where is Shizuka-sensei?" Saya asked to quickly change the topic, since she noticed that the large breasted teacher was gone.

She popped her head out from around the corner.

"Naruto-chan asked me to take inventory of everythere in the house, so I've been a little busy~!" Shizuka answered as she came out from around the corner. "Are you going out already Naruto-chan?" Shizuka asked with a bright smile. "Are you not going to take a weapon?"

"Nah, I'm not that great with guns, and they make way too much noise. Limited ammo, might as well leave those to people with better aim. My fists will make a lot less noise until I find something... I will take this though." Naruto grabbed a mallet.

Not a hammer, a mallet.

"Why are you in such a rush anyway to get out and clear houses?" Takashi left the bathroom next, but unlike Naruto he got dressed before he left, his hair still wet. "We can afford to rest for the night."

Naruto shook his head.

"We need to secure more food and water, eventually, the electricity will go off and we will water systems won't be able to keep the water clean. We have about 3 days before we lose electricity if nobody is managing the plant, and it's doubtful there are living people there. We need to loot houses for batteries and money-"

"Why money?" Saya asked with a raised eyebrow.

"So we can go to the gas station, the machines still require scanned money in order to provide gas. Getting gas means we can find gas powered generators and still have a consistent way to power heating for winter." Naruto wanted to make sure that he could get a place to stay up and running long term.

"Winter... it's the start of summer."

"It won't always be summer though, so I say once we have all the supplies we need, we go search for a better place to set up another camp. I've got one college campus secured and gave them orders to keep them safe, but the more safe zones that I get set up for survivors, the better chances this nation will survive this." Naruto scratched the back of his head.

People usually just followed his orders without needing all of this explanation, but he was dealing with high schoolers still, so this was to expected. They weren't going to listen to him without some kind of information.

"You're acting like the zombies won't decompose-"

Naruto stared at Saya with deadpan eyes.

"... Oh my god, the zombies don't decompose... or rather they use the meat that they eat to halt their own decomposition... but how did you figure this out?" Saya asked Naruto with a raised eyebrow. "Actually... you ALSO knew about them reacting to sound... and you seem to know how this mess started."

"Diseased rats carrying the zombie virus, one of them bit me and another dude, he died and I didn't. Also, alchohol can slow the rate you die from the disease by about 12 hours, but only slow it down... some drunk college guys I saw were proof of that." Naruto gave that information freely as well.

Naruto sat down on the couch.

Change of plans, and he gestured everyone to sit down as well, around him or on the floor, it didn't matter where they sat down. Kohta came out dressed as well, and he joined them.

"Listen, my goal in coming here was to save Saeko and meet up with Rika. My ultimate goal is not just to survive, but to make sure this nation survives and recovers. As it stands, soon only the strongest or smartest of our species will be what is left... and usually that also means the most cruel people, those not afraid to sacrifice others, will still be around too. My actions will not always make sense, and I'm not great at explaining myself with words sometimes, but I just want you to know that as long as you're human, I will do whatever is in my power to save all of you-"

"As long as we follow your orders?"

"Don't follow my orders if you don't want to, do what you want to do. I'll still do whatever is in my power to save you all." Naruto stated as he stared Saya down right in her eyes.

She gulped and looked away.

The fucking charisma.

"Well... I think that is a foolish dream, but I'll still follow you and support it." Saeko offered no resistance at all.

"So... we don't have to follow your orders... we don't even have to listen to you... so why would you still save us?" Kohta didn't understand that part of it.

"Because I will, you don't need a reason to save a life, you only need a reason to take one. Anyway, now that I've explained my goals and plans, I'm out. I'll be back when I'm done with the next door house." Naruto stated as he clapped his hands, and stood up. He grabbed his mallet and tested it's weight as he walked to the door.

Hammers were a fool's weapon.

They could get easily stuck in a zombie's skull, but a mallet had a wider head and more rounded surface. It was also softer and would break less easily, and could more easily crush a skill without getting stuck inside of the bone.

"What if a person is completely evil... and they will-"

"I'll kill them myself, so that nobody else gets blood on their hands. I don't want anyone to have to any blood on their hands... so leave killing people to me as well. This event will leave everyone traumatized, lets not have everyone who survives this become killers as well. Killing zombies is not the same as killing people-" Naruto slammed his fist into the wall and his fist punched a hole right through it. "-and living with the guilt is a fate that I wish on no good person left alive in this hell of a world." Naruto walked out of the front door with that said.

"... Damn."

"He was raised good." Shizuka spoke with some pride.

He left the group stunned.

Saeko followed after Naruto without hesitating though.
