"Glad you decided to tag along Alexis. It'll be good getting to do this with you along." Wendy says as she is riding her bike with Alexis running beside it in wolf form.
"You kidding? I love adventure and now that Dipper, Mabel, and Soos know my secret I can run freely around them. Speaking of which there they are." Alexis says before the she and Wendy see Dipper, Mabel, and Soos by a tree talking about a way to get inside the tree.
"Chop it down dudes!" Wendy shouts as she and Alexis stop.
"Wendy! Alexis!" Mabel shouts as she runs over and hugs Alexis.
"Oh hey! You came." Dipper says as Alexis smiles at hi,.
"Dude I'm so stoked about this. I've been wanting to go adventuring with you guys. Sure beats picking up after my dad at home." Wendy says as Alexis nods in agreement.
"Or our brothers." Alexis says as she flattens her ears in annoyance at the thought of their brothers.
"Thanks for the invite man! I hope you don't mind me inviting Alexis." Wendy says as she gestures to Alexis.
"Of course and no problem. Anytime you wanna.. I.. we're always... Us." Dipper says as Alexis walks over to the tree and begins sniffing around.
"I think I found something. That branch it looks kinda like a lever." Alexis says as she looks into the tree.
"Huh yeah. But how do we get up there...? It seems we'd need like a ladder or like ladder shoes... Yeah ladder shoes. I'll get Soos to draw up a prototype." Dipper says before he sees Alexis has climbed up to the lever and pushes it with her paw.
"Who needs a complicated plan when you got an excellent climber like me around?" Alexis says proudly.
"Nice one lexis. She used to climb all kinds of trees when she was a puppy before our family found out what she is a couple weeks back. I can't tell you the amount of times my mom and dad asked why I would freak out seeing her up in the tree because they didn't know her secret yet and didn't know she was the puppy. But she never got hurt." Wendy says as Alexis jumps down onto the ground.
"Uh.. what is that?" Alexis asks before tree goes down to reveal a staircase.
"Alright guys this is it. Remember whatever happens down there we tell no one. Now who wants to go first?" Dipper asks before everyone begins to go down the stairs.

As the group reaches the bottom they soon enter a room as everyone shows being amazed by the room.
"It's like a fallout shelter or something. It must've belonged to the author." Dipper says as the group looks around.
"This is going over my bed." Wendy says as she finds a poster and blows the dust off it.
"Ugh. Talk about the dust. Achoo!" Alexis says as he noses twitches upon getting a snoot full of dust before sneezing as she shakes her head and rubs her nose with her paw.
"This is incredible! It's like he was preparing for a disaster. But what kinda disaster would need supplies for over sixty years? Wait guys I think this can was opened recently." Dipper says as he picks up an open can of beans.
"Wait a minute... I think I know where he might have gone... Whoa! Whoa! Oh man! Was this place built in the past or the future?" Wendy says as she finds a map and leads everyone through a tunnel before arriving in another room.
"This room is way creepy." Soos says as he looks around.
"Not as creepy as Dipper's internet history! Heyo!" Mabel says as she shoves Dipper causing him to step on a square as the designs in the room begin to light up while the room shakes.
"What's goin' on dude?" Soos asks as squares begin to push out around the group.
"Haha. It's hard to be scared with caterpillars on your face. Wall things! Crazy wall things happening right now!" Mabel says as caterpillars are on her face before Alexis tries pushing back the blocks with no luck.
"It's not stopping!" Alexis shouts worriedly.
"Dipper! What do we do?!" Mabel shouts.
"Oh come on! Find these four symbols! Quick! Everybody step on one!" Dipper shouts as the group pushes on the symbols before a door appears.
"Now's our chance! Run!" Alexis shouts as everyone makes a run for the door getting to safety.
"Yes! Yes! That was huh.. that was nuts!" Wendy says Alexis nods before looking at Dipper.
"You were amazing back there Dipper!" Alexis says as she smiles.
"Heh. Thanks Alexis." Dipper says shyly as Alexis smiles at him.
"Get a load of this crazy Surveillance Room." Wendy says as she looks at the room they are in.
"Check it out dudes!" Soos says as he makes faces in front of beakers making Alexis laugh.
"Soos, Soos... That is hilarious." Wendy says before she goes over to a metal closet.
"Dude! Dipper you gotta check out this weird metal closet. I am a robot. I have a metal closet." Wendy says as she talks in a robot voice.
"Coming!" Dipper says as he goes over to Wendy before Mabel goes over and pushes them both into the closet and locks it.
"What the-? Mabel! Let us out!" Dipper shouts as he pounds on the door before Alexis comes over in worry.
"Oh I'll let you out Dipper. As soon as you tell Wendy that thing you've been wanting to tell her! You'll thank me for this later!" Mabel says stubbornly.
"Thing? What thing?" Alexis asks in confusion.
"Nothing! Mabel's just been eating raw sugar packets again." Dipper says as Mabel is eating raw sugar.
"That's besides the point!" Mabel shouts.
"Let me out right now!" Dipper shouts.
"Mabel just let your brother and my sister out." Alexis says as she looks at Mabel.
"Not a chance." Mabel says as Alexis shakes her head in annoyance before laying down near the closet.
*Timeskip*
"Mabel open up for real! There's a monster in here!" Dipper shouts as Alexis jumps up at him pounding on the door again.
"Ha ha. Nice try! The only monsters are your own inner demons Dipper!" Mabel says unworriedly.
"That is so wise." Soos says.
"Come on Dipper! Now's the time bro!" Mabel shouts.
"Mabel!" Alexis says worriedly as she looks at the closet.
"No Alexis. He has to do this. It'll make them both better." Mabel says as Alexis looks at her.
*Timeskip*
"Sure are taking their time in there. Hey do I look smarter with this coat and brief case? I feel like I look smarter..." Soos says as he and Mabel are playing with equipment while Alexis is looking around.
"Razzle dazzle! Look at this tube-y thing! Frozen! Unfrozen! Frozen! Unfrozen!" Mabel says as she finds some buttons.
"What's this? Experiment number 210. The shape shifter." Alexis says as she finds a note with writing on it.
"The shape shifter? Uh dude? Didn't Dipper say there was a monster in there with them?" Soos asks as the group gives a look of horror.
"Oh no!" Alexis says in fear.
"I thought he was just joking!" Mabel shouts fearfully.
"You know Dipper's joke's are terrible!" Soos shouts.
"Dipper!" Mabel shouts.
"Wendy!" Alexis shouts as the group begins to run back toward the other room.
*Timeskip*
"Wendy?! Oh it's so dark! How will we ever find them?" Soos shouts as the group get back into the other room and go into the closet where they find tunnels.
"I think I can track the scent but that still doesn't solve the light problem." Alexis says as she sniffs the ground.
"Leave that to Mabel!" Mabel says as she presses her shirt before it lights up.
"Whoa rad! Although isn't electric clothing kinda like a fire hazard?" Soos asks.
"No. It's a fun hazard. Now let me light the way as Alexis tracks!" Mabel shouts.
"We're coming for you dudes!" Soos says as he, Alexis, and Mabel run off down the tunnels.
*Timeskip*
As the group is running down the tunnels they soon collide with Dipper and Wendy as the two back up.
"Wait! How do we know they're not the shape shifter?" Dipper asks cautiously.
"Maybe I am! Mabel inspect my shape!" Soos says as Mabel pokes him causing him to laugh.
"It's definitely them. Oh my gosh Wendy. You're bleeding!" Dipper shouts as he sees Wendy hurt her knee.
"What!?" Alexis asks in alarm as she goes over to Wendy worriedly.
"It's cool. It's cool. It's just blood man. Don't freak out." Wendy says.
"What happened?" Mabel asks as Wendy tears a piece off her shirt to wrap the injury.
"We got attacked by the shape shifter. He broke out of his cage, pretended to be the author, and wants Dipper's journal." Wendy says.
"Imagine if he escapes to the town! He can transform into anything! We could never trust anyone ever again!" Dipper says.
"What do we do?!" Mabel asks in alarm.
"Well he took us into his home, tricked us, and tried to destroy us. I say we return the favor." Wendy says.
*Timeskip*
"Guys he's coming! He's coming! Now, now, now, now!" Dipper shouts as he and Mabel run to where Alexis, Soos, and Wendy are by a water valve as the group turn the water valve.
"It's not working dude!" Soos shouts before the creature catches up and grabs Dipper's book.
"Hey! Let go!" Dipper says.
"Back off and pick on someone your own size!" Alexis shouts as she growls and bites into the creature making it let go of Dipper before turning to attack it only for the group to get caught in a huge burst of water. Later as the water is gone Alexis is laying on the ground with Wendy's ax near by as as Dipper and Wendy find her and run over.
"Alexis! Oh no." Wendy says as she looks sadly at Alexis.
"Alexis! No, no, no-no-no! Can you hear us? Oh please be okay. Please be okay! Oh no. Oh no! This is all my fault! If I had told your sister when we were in the closet we wouldn't be in this mess. You wouldn't be laying here. But I was too scared and now you could be hurt or worse and all because I couldn't tell your sister I'm like—In love with her. I'm in love with Wendy!" Dipper says as he looks at Wendy after getting no response from unconscious Alexis.
"Wendy.. Dipper.. I'm over here." A voice says revealing to be another Alexis.
"Huh—wha—Alexis?! W-wait then who's... Look out!" Dipper shouts as the unconscious Alexis gets up growling before the other Alexis lunges at it in attempt to get the journal away from it.
"Get away from my pack and give me that journal!" Alexis says angrily as she snaps at the creature.
"Never!" The creature shouts as it lunges at Alexis and tries to pin her before she shoves it off and bites into it's back.
"Dipper! Hit it with the ax!" Wendy shouts as she tosses Dipper the ax before the creature pushes Alexis off and looks at Dipper.
"Don't listen to her Dipper!" The creature shouts.
"Do it Dipper! We can't let this thing get out and away with the journal!" Alexis shouts worriedly.
"Uh uh. I don't know who's who! Give me a sign!" Dipper shouts as the creature smiles and winks.
"Karaoke." Alexis says as she smiles before the creature looks at her only for Dipper to attack it with the ax revealing its true form.
"Push him in!" Dipper shouts as he, Alexis, and Wendy push the creature into a tube as the doors close it in.
"No! Let me out!" The creature shouts as it tries to get out.
"Let's get out of here dudes." Soos shouts as he and Mabel come into the room while the creature laughs.
"You think you're so clever don't you Dipper? But you have no idea what you're up against. You will never find the author. If you keep digging you'll meet a fate worse than you can imagine. And this will be the last form you ever take!" The creature says as it takes the form of a screaming dipper before being froze.
"Good luck sleeping tonight!" Soos says.
*Timeskip*
"Oh what a headache. definitely not going swimming for a while." Alexis says as she is sitting against a tree while the others are a little ways away.
"You okay?" A voice asks revealing to be Dipper as Alexis shifts to human form and looks at it.
"Huh? Oh yeah. Water logged but I'm okay.. So you and my sister huh?" Alexis asks as Dipper gives a shy look.
"Yeah.. Look it's not going to happen. Don't worry. She just sees me as a friend. Kinda like you and me." Dipper says as Alexis looks down slightly.
"Yeah.. Friends." Alexis says.
"Alexis! Come on!" Wendy shouts as she is getting on her bike.
"Bye Dipper. It was fun.. Maybe we can do it again sometime? Just the two of us?" Alexis asks curiously while giving a shy look and blushing slightly.
"Yeah just not in any creepy tunnels." Dipper says as he smiles.
"Deal." Alexis says happily before shifting to wolf form and leaving with Wendy.
*Timeskip*
"Hey you okay? You look like something is bothering you. What's on your mind?" Wendy asks as she notices Alexis looks distracted as she is running beside her bike.
"Oh uh nothing.." Alexis says nervously.
"Nothing huh? Then why did you give a shy look and blush when talking to Dipper before we left?" Wendy asks as Alexis looks at her.
"How did-" Alexis then gets cut off by Wendy.
"Alexis you're my sister. I do notice these things. You like Dipper don't you?" Wendy asks as Alexis gives an embarrassed look.
"So? What's it matter?" Alexis asks.
"Alexis it's okay. I mean I don' know if he will feel the same considering what he said in the tunnels. But if you like him I wouldn't give up hope he may end up returning it one day." Wendy says as she smiles.
"I doubt that. Let's just get home. After that I am ready for a nice long bath and then I am taking a long nap." Alexis says exhausted.
"You and me both." Wendy says.
