The Warper News Network (the series)

April 2021

(Cues: Z-TV Techno Song)

The logo flashes with three letters, "WNN", the Warper News Network. WNN is one of the three major news networks among reality warpers.

"WNN, the place that's not fake-conservative Fox, idiotically liberal MSNBC, and more classy than Nude News Network. We're the Warper News Network bringing you our neutral outlook! 2021 has barely started…and the studio's nearly on fire. We bring you Bulma and Chi-Chi" The announcer said as the lights shine on the set.

Chi-Chi sat on the news desk with her feet up strumming her electric guitar playing a sad melody…again.

"RWBY month was a disaster. Noting but fandom riots." Chi-Chi said sadly.

"Chi-Chi, we have better things to talk about. Namely some important news from the Zen Kuro sector. It has only been a few days since the murder of that's world child-abusing supervillain Kai Chisaki…better known as Overhaul. While normally, we'd be celebrating…apparently his Quirk was taken along with his research on Quirk science leading many to assume it was a hit job. The assassins were discovered to be the Red Phoenix Pirates lead by son of Big Mom…LaNico D. Fenix." Bulma said as his image was up on screen.

"Surprisingly, US Immigration Services failed to see this connection. He'd be serving as a member of Teens Next Door…supposedly as a high-ranking member while moonlight as a pirate captain for two years until recently." Chi-Chi said looking at the papers. "Wait, how the hell did he hide that for so long?"

"Regardless, apparently he's opted to be a pirate full-time as the government released a statement that Fenix 'resigned' from the TND. Japan is currently demanding the pirates are brought to justice, and it's because of this…that one small discrepancy was cleared up. A version of Nami who happened to be a gyaru kept getting mistaken for the Pirate member, Silk. The Order wishes to apologize for the mix-up." Bulma said. "Now, we have Kale and Caulifla on politics."

The camera shifted over to another table where Cabba is fanning Kale and Caulifla. Little Taydo was in on Cabba's chest in a baby pouch, and a newborn was on strapped to his back.

"Is this really needed?" Cabba asked in annoyance.

"You're the one who knocked up both of us. So, fan your baby mamas faster!" Caulifla said as Cabba groaned.

"Yes dear." Cabba said.

"So, you got a son, Caulifla?" Sharpner, the cameraman, remarked from behind the camera.

"Yeah, I wanted a daughter to name after myself, but I have a son. I named him Calzone." Caulifla said nonchalantly. "Cabba, you can take a break. We have news to report."

Cabba walked off-camera.

"Now, for the news. To begin with, the Order of Reality has begun to declassify some information about the mysterious organization Cobalt due to the organization's internal corruption. The organization is famous for its high success rate in missions of espionage." Caulifla said. "But…."

"Two of their prodigy agents had escaped the organization two years ago, despite the fact that organization is famed for it's dimension where it's base lies to be inescapable. However, debate among the Order on whether the two should be given a bounty has been debated considering the nature of how they got into the organization…and their former handler." Kale rattled. "I think their bounties are pretty big. It's pretty shocking."

"Not really, Kale. The amount they're wanted for is because of raw power…it's because of your accomplishments, kills, training, and skills. Not many 6th rank warpers can boast being in the billions club." Caulifia said before showing the bounties on-screen.

"Wayward Shadow" Drake Sapphire Arashi – 1,150,000,000 - 6th Rank – Active

"Dubious Nightshade" Jericho Emerald Belladonna – 1,150,000,000 - 6th Rank – Active

"HOLY SHIT!" A good chuck of the news team.

"I can't even read the list of shit they done. It's 100 pages and that's just what's public and on record!" Caulifla said.

"In other news from CN-Zen Kuro, Prime Minister Inko Midoriya demands that the Red Phoenix Pirates be brought to justice. The world has basically laughed at her because we all know they're just sore they got humiliated. Personally, I don't know people will care seeing Kai Chisaki…was an awful human being. I mean when All for One got murdered along with most of the League of Villains, people partied." Kale said bluntly. "And current United States President, Peridot Periwinkle."

The footage showed CN-Zen Kuro with Peridot on a podium.

"My fellow Americans, I have come to address you all to confirm that I did not order the assassination of Kai Chisaki. However, I will not support Japan's manhunt for the Red Phoenix Pirates outside the universe's borders. In my humble opinion, Prime Minister Midoriya needs to realize they got humiliated and to learn from their mistakes."

The footage ended as the two Saiyans were not impressed.

"Back to you, Bulma." Kale said as camera whirled back to Bulma and Chi-Chi.

"Bulma, whatever happened to the broadcasts for March and RWBY month?" Chi-Chi asked.

"I-"

BOOM! An explosion tore apart the wall to reveal a new face, Zen-Oh.

"So, I feel it's April Fool's Day, and I want to celebrate. So, I'm going to blow up the studio!" Zen-Oh said with a grin. "April Fool's!"

Everyone laughed thinking he was joking but he wasn't…the explosion cut off the camera feed. Until the camera feed came back to show a ruined studio. Rei walked in unaware.

"So, I got this scoop! A bunch of Reis formed a pirate crew…the Blue Lilith Pirates. It's…what…the…" Rei said seeing the studio in ruins. "What happened?"

"I blew the studio up because it's April Fool's." Zen-Oh said jolly.

"But the studio gets blown up nearly every other month…it's basically a running gag. It's just annoying now." Rei said as Zen-Oh floated away. "Guess I'll close this out. Stay frosty, you warpers out there!"

The camera died.

(A/N: Ain't Zen-Oh just the cutest pain in the neck? Figured I'd set some more stuff up and put more effort given I missed a month. Considering I originally planned March as RWBY month, but the crapshow that V8 happened, it's ironic and a good thing I did not do RWBY month after all. Stay tuned for more!)
