On the day of the festival, Sasuke sat on the couch wearing a casual T-shirt with a sweater pulled over and jeans. He was getting bored waiting for Sakura who was still in her room, he was still trying to figure out why he had agreed to go in the first place. He had never been to a festival, hell he didn't go to social gatherings all together except for those pretentious parties his father threw where everyone had to wear suits and dresses and drink wine from the correct type of glass- and those were absolutely boring. After he had enough of waiting he went over to her room to knock but just as he went towards the door , it opened revealing a stunning Sakura wearing a small hoodie and jeans that stuck to her legs- she wore minimalistic make up and her hair was tied up nicely behind her head. It took everything Sasuke had not to gape at her and keep up the stoic facade.

"You look...nice"

"Really? Thank you."

"Hn. Now lets go get this over with."

"Cheer up You'll like it. Lets go." Sakura held his hand and yanked him out of the apartment.

Sasuke DID NOT like it. Music was not his cup of tea and especially not the extremely loud trap music that they were blaring through speakers right next to his ears. What he didn't like even more was the fact that every male in the goddamn festival was looking at Sakura, He made it a point to move closer to her and glare at every boy who looked at her, Why? because Sasuke didn't like everyone looking at a girl that he was with, He wasn't jealous he was just being a good friend-yeah that's right good friend. Currently Sakura went to get some food and he was standing alone by the railings.

"Teme- thought you wouldn't come?" Naruto's words brought him out of his thoughts.

"Hn, changed my mind."

"Who's the cute girl with you ?"

"Sakura- My roommate." Sasuke didn't appreciate the 'cute' comment towards Sakura but he didn't feel like correcting him right now.

Naruto's face looked like it was thinking about something. Hard. Suddenly his expression changed and he wiggled his eyebrows.

"Changed your mind pretty fast didn't you Sasuke dear?"

"Shut up." Sasuke scowled

"Looks like you already have someone for company then... really thought you would introduce them to your best friend first but I guess I was wrong." Naruto poted showing fake sadness.

"Where's Hyuuga- go bother her."

"She's gone to get some food."

"Go away then."

"Sure-sure wouldn't wanna intrude on you and your 'roommates' alone time." Naruto used air quotes.

"God, Why am I friends with you?"

"Sasuke!" Sakura suddenly called out

Sasuke jerked his head to see Sakura moving towards him

"I found some food and a place for us to sit down and eat. Who is this?"

"This is dobe."

"Ignore his Sakura- I am Naruto , Sasuke's best friend."

"Oh, you're Naruto. Sasuke has mentioned you."

"Only good things I hope." Naruto quipped.

"Haha- ok see you guys later I have to go find my girlfriend." Naruto said and exited.

Sasuke and Sakura sat down by a tree a bit far from the main centre of the festival, The music was still audible but now faint and it was relatively quiet and lonely.

"I thought this place would be nice for you, you don't seem to enjoy crowds or loud things."

"Hn." Sasuke smirked- the fact that she had thought about him and made accommodations was really nice.

"I think the moon and the stars look really great today."

Sasuke looked up and admired the night sky she was right- It looked great, he looked to his right and his eyes widened. The night sky looked beautiful but what looked even more beautiful was Sakura's face illuminated by the quickly yanked his head to the right to avoid getting caught gazing at her.

"It-It looks great."

"Thanks for coming with me Sasuke."

"Ah"
