""Don't answer Shinso during the training." Kaminari pointed out to Yuki while they made their way through the building, Yuki stopping to cut the lights of each floor before moving onto the next. "What are you doing?"
"I can see perfectly in the dark, but they can't." Yuki explained following behind her partner for this heroes and villains training exercise. They were the villains holding a hostage, a mechanical dummy that had mock vitals, the heroes were task to retrieve without risking the safety of the hostage.
"Anyways, let's only talk to each other when we can see our mouths moving, since he can mimic our voices." Agreeing with him Yuki split off and got ready to ambush the heroes in the pitch black. Groaning she activated one of her super moves, Lioness Furry. her body became more catlike than before, more in tune with her animalistic instincts. Fur growing on her hands and feet as they grew a bit in size, claws longer and far sharper. Mouth pushing forward making her jaws filling with long, sharp fans. Crouching down she jumped to the top of a stack of tall boxes from a standing still position, close to the ceiling she could watch her prey enter the Lion's Den.
Kirishima was already hardened, walking a bit ahead of Shinso. She waited until Kirishima had passed, and Shinso was left unguarded. Launching herself she hissed and growled, pushing Kirishima to the ground and launching off him just in time to avoid Shinso's binding cloth. Cursing herself under her breath she should have known Kirishima would jump in front of his teammate like that.
"You really trying to hide in the shadows with that snow white fur?" Shinso taunted. Growling lowly to herself she sprinted up the stairs to the next floor. This was the plan, she would wear them down since her claws presented a problem to Kirishima's hardening, she would only attempt to capture one of them if the opportunity presented itself. If everything went smoothly, Kirishima would be to warn down by the time he reached Kaminari to guard effectively against his electric attacks.
"You holding your own?" Kaminari's voiced called out, from the wrong direction. Wrapping around one of her ankles Yuki fell onto the stairs on her way up, with a good pull she came flying at them. Twisting in the air she sliced through the cloth with her claws and prepared to land on them, Kirishima once again stepping in front of his partner. Her claws did nothing against his Unbreakable, using his hardened body as a climbing board she narrowly escaped his arms from grabbing her. With her hands on his shoulders, she flipped over, ducked under Shinso's cloth, and rushed into his face, the capture tape unraveled in her hands. Coming to a sudden stop she jumped to the side and suppressed a laugh as Kirishima became tangled in Shinso's wraps, trapping him on top of the lavender boy.
"Think you won?" Shinso grunted pushing Kirishima off him, Yuki didn't answer, only took the opportunity to tie the capture tape around Kirishima when he sat up. Gasping Yuki kicked Shinso off her, grabbing onto her ankle he pulled her back closer to him. Wrapping his own capture tape around her ankle he ducked and narrowly avoided her claws. Twisting and failing her body she slipped from his grasp, he was much stronger than she thought and sooner or later she knew she was going to slip up and speak.
Sprinting up the stairs on all fours with Shinso right on her heels. "Your fur makes you a bright beacon." He taunted. "Even in the dark it's easy to see you." She knew this, dye never seemed to last long, her fur was short so the new white hairs would soon turn her into a salt a pepper cat after a few days.
"Get ready Kaminari." Shinso yelled in her voice.
"That's not me!" she howled twisting around to cut the binding cloth from her waist, tackling her he pined her wrist together, wrapping them in his capture tape. "Kaminari, toasted plan." She cried out. Running around the corner Kaminari looked down at them, his partner struggling to keep from being effectively captured.
"Are you sure?" Kaminari asked locking his eyes with hers. Shinso covered her eyes and moved his binding cloth to hide her face from her partner.
"Yes, do it, hurry!" Shinso responded with her voice. Smirking down at her he whispered in her ear in his own voice. "Do laser pointers work on you?"
"Don't be an ass." She hissed back; her body went limp her head plunged into a fog.
"Kaminari, now!" he yelled out in her voice again.
"Okay, get ready!" Kaminari shouted, but nothing happened.
"Sit on the ground." Kaminari did as Shinso said, both him and Yuki staring blankly ahead while Shinso tied them both up with the capture tape.
"Heroes win!" the voice announced over the speakers. Releasing both his classmates from his brainwashing Shinso helped untie them. Letting out a deep breath Yuki released Lioness Furry, her body returning to its normal state.
"What about catnip?" Shinso smirked pulling Yuki to her feet, Kaminari already walking down the stairs to find and free Kirishima.
"You're an ass." Yuki laughed with a fake hiss; her laugh cut short when Shinso grabbed her with his quirk before quickly releasing her again.
"You should be more careful." He warned walking down the stairs.
"Why?" again he caught her only to release her right away.
"Really?" he challenged, thinking that there was no way she would answer.
"I trust you." She purred, laughing to herself when he brainwashed her yet again.
"You sure that's a good idea?" he asked wondering what her game was.
"I'm sure." She answered immediately, coming to a short pause at the end of the last flight of stairs of the building.
"I thought you were supposed to be smart." He sighed releasing her again.
"You're just having fun, what's wrong with that?" she mussed closing her eyes a moment, enjoying the heat of the sun and beginning to purr.
"You're really no scared, are you?" He asked watching her walk at his side with her eyes closed and purring, such a look of comfort on her face.
"Not of you." She sang, coming to a stop for a moment she continued to walk at his side when he commanded her to, looking blankly ahead.
"You should be." He answered after a bout a block down the street, standing outside where the class was gathered to watch everyone else in their mock battles, he released her.
"I don't see why." She smiled at him, leaning against a metal bar she closed her eyes and soaked up the warmth of the sun. turning away from her he went inside, leaving her to purr to herself outside.
