"So wait let me get this straight, you had to cut the bridge because you were trapped?" asked Amanda.
"Yup," Indy replied. The group was coming into the Cavendish Estates. The door was open by one of Cyrus's maids and they were welcome inside. "Mistress Cyrus is waiting in the secret room, her future granddaughter would be able to show you," said one of the maids. Diana, knew what the maid meant, took the group to the same room where she showed Akko the statue of Beatrix the great. Other than Akko, the rest of the group were surprised with what they see. Indiana was in amazement looking at a lot of special artifacts that had been collected over the years. As group continue walking, they saw Cyrus walking towards them.
"Thank you, Dr. Jones for rescuing my future granddaughter," said Cyrus.
"No problem mame, now about the Grand Triskelion, what do you girls know about it?" Indy asked.
Cyrus went to one of the libraries and took out a large book. "The Grand Triskelion has many names. It is rumored to have unlimited magic and whoever takes control can control the magic. But not everyone would be able to receive. You see, the staff is hard to find because it is held by the spirits of the nine olde witches. But even if you do fine the staff, it won't because there are only seven spells it performs. Each word represent good nature witches. My and Diana's ancestor, Beatrix the Great, passed down one of the words 'Sybilladura Lelladybura,' which means "When traditional and modern powers mingle, the gate to an unseen world will open. This spell brings out a powerful and fast broom that allows you to fly," explained Cyrus.
"Then there are the other six words which you would have to remember to defeat Heinz. 'Arae Aryrha' which means Do not compare yourself with others, do what only you can do," Diana continued.
"The one that got me to Luna Nova was, 'Noctu Orgei Aude Fraetor', which means Those that try to achieve their dreams must go through hardships. I learned this spell when I saw my idol in concert. And after that, I been living that ideal," Akko said.
'The others are Phaidoari Afairynghor, which means 'You do not get things that you dream of, you get the things you work for'; Mayenab Dysheebudo, 'To see it through, patience is important'; Lyonne which means 'Thank you'; and Phasansheer Shearylla, which means 'Connect with other people and your dreams will grow'. These words are very important to achieve the powerful magic of the grand Triskelion," Cyrus explained.
"Are any of these spells deadly? Will it kill the user if you say the wrong thing?" Indy asked, feeling a bit worried.
"Too be honest no. The times we had used the Grand Triskelion, it was for good. I have no idea if it can be corrupted," Akko said.
"Ok, but how does one get the staff?" Indy asked.
"Well how I found it was that it just appeared to me," Akko said, "But other then that, I don't know."
"Well, this is just great. Everybody is looking for a staff that probably doesn't exist and the only thing that we are going for is that it is in a forest near a magic school," Indy said.
"Well, if you put it like that then yeah. But I have a feeling that finding the staff will be a bit easier since most of us have been in the forest in the past year," said Akko.
"Also, we will be closer to a founding stone, so we will be able to use our magic," Diana added.
"There is one issue that you guys forgot," said Indy.
"And that is?" Akko and Diana asked.
"The Eye of Jackal and Nazis would be surrounding the area," Indy said.
"What are you planning Mr. Jones?" Diana asked.
"Well two of us has to drive a truck, while the rest of us are hiding in the back. Now Heinz knows you two faces, and he can instantly recognize me and Shorty here, so it has to been one of your friends," Indy explained.
"Well, who do you think like can do that?" asked Hannah. The group turned and looked at Hannah and Barbara. "Why are you guys looking at us?" she asked.
Barbara then realize why the group were looking at them. "No, no, no. Neither Hannah nor I even know how to drive. Also how do you think we are going to be able to do this. Neither of us don't like even know how to speak German?" Barbara said freaking out.
"Barbara, I believe both you and Hannah are able to do this. You guys are really our only hope for this," Diana said, with calming tone.
"Why can't Constanze do this, isn't she like german?" Hannah asked.
"You little air head forgot that Constanze is mute," Amanda said. "Anyways, if push comes to shove, Constanze will be helping me, Akko, Indiana, and Short with covering fire if things go south," Amanda continued.
"Looked, Hannah and Barbara, I know you guys are knew at this, but we are begging you to do this. Out of anybody here, you two will probably be the less suspicious looking ones. Also don't worry about driving, I have an idea and how we are able to do that," Indy said.
"Plus, Barbara think of this. You are going to be like Elizabeth in that few chapters in Nightfall #125, where her and her Irish friend, O'Hara, had to sneak into enemy territory to rescue her love one," Lotte added, knowing the share love of the Nightfall series will boost Barbara morale up.
"Ok, fine we will do it. But like how are we going to get a truck and uniforms?" Hannah asked.
"We will take care of that," Amanda said, smiling.
Amanda was standing on the side of the road, wearing revealing clothing, showing her breast and her stomach. When Amanda was telling the group on her plan to get both a truck and uniforms, everybody was shocked. "Hell no, are you crazy?" Akko asked. The thought of seeing Amanda in such revealing clothes made everybody feel awkward, especially knowing that Amanda thought of this idea. Of course, she will think this is a great plan, mainly due to her rebellious personality.
"Well, it is not like anybody else has any ideas. Plus, while the officers are distracted, Indy and Short Round can take care of them," Amanda said.
"She does have a point," Diana added.
"Diana!" Akko shouted.
"Looked Akko, even I know when desperate times call for desperate measures," Diana said.
When Amanda saw a truck approaching with two Nazis, driving it, she started acting like an airheaded cheerleader. "Like hello boys, do you guys like what you see," Amanda said, as the truck was stopping. The officers were talking in German and ogling American witch, like she is a lady of the night. Amanda was trying her best to distract the two officers while Indy and Shorty were sneaking behind them. When they finally got in to their positions, the archeologist and his buddy took out the officers with ease. As Amanda was fixing herself, Akko and Constanze checked the trunk to make sure there are no Nazis hiding in there. Indy and Shorty took the uniforms off the unconscious officers and gave them Hannah and Barbara. As the girls were putting on their uniforms, Indy made sure that the other girls were getting into the truck, hiding very well. As Hannah and Barbara were coming back, Indy decided that Barbara was going to drive a truck.
"Look kid, use this…" Indy said holding up a pair of wooden blocks, "to push down on the gas pedal if you can't reach it. Lightly touch the gas pedal to make sure the truck is not going to fast. Use this stick, to change the position of the truck, D is drive, P is park, and R is reverse. And make sure to keep the truck on the road with the wheel. You understand?"
"Yes, sir and thank you." Barbara said nervously.
Indy notice the nervousness in her voice and said, "Look kid, you and your friend will do great. Just remember what I said to you and your friend before we got the truck." Barbara relaxed a bit and before she said anything, Indy walked to the back of truck and got into the trunk. Barbara and Hannah put their seat belts on, and they both took a deep breath.
"Ready Hannah?" Barbara asked.
"Ready," Hannah said.
And Barbara started driving the truck to the Weyland Terminal. The travel was long and it didn't help that as they were getting closer to their destination, Hannah and Barbara were getting nervous.
"Hey Barbara, can I ask you something?" Hannah asked.
"Sure, go ahead," Barbara replied.
"Would you think we will survive this?" Hannah asked, "I mean, all our lives we live through magic being prevalent and it has helped all of us before. But now, with us conserving our magic in our wands, it feels like we are naked."
"Too be honest, I don't know. Mr. Indiana Jones had rescued us from being captured and that Short Round kid protected us from the German officer. But I feel like what we are dealing with are bigger than any of us," Barbara answered.
"Yeah and add the fact that we are heading to the forbidden forest, I just feel like this might be our last trip," Hannah said.
"Yeah…Hey Hannah can I ask you a question?" asked Barbara.
"Sure," Hannah replied.
"Do you fancy Amanda?" Barbara asked.
Hannah gasped in shock at this. Hannah did find Amanda cute and sometimes she was always nervous around her. Even when she is asleep, she always dreams of being with Amanda, sometimes even dream her being in a sexy bikini. But she never expect someone, especially her best friend, to think that she was in love with that American.
"Ummm, I do kind of fancy her. She is cute and I won't mind dating her. Even though she is wild, she is kind and loving," Hannah said fantasying about Amanda holding her, "Anyways, why are you asking?"
"Well, Amanda actually wanted to know, so she asked me and Diana about you," Barbara answered.
"Wait really, she did ask that?" Hannah asked.
"Yeah, she did, she has been interested in you too, you guys really do need to talk," said Barbara.
"I will, after this of course," said Hannah.
Barbara drove the truck to the Weyland terminal. The area was a small village, but one thing that stood out to the purple hair witch was the large amount of soldiers surrounding the area. One of the soldiers stopped her and started asking her questions in German. Barbara did her best answering the German soldier back, learning a quick language lesson from Indy. The German seemingly understood without a problem, but something caught his interest. One of the other guards was holding a German Shepard, searching the truck. The guard questioning Barbara went towards where the dog was. As the guard was leaving, Hannah notice Barbara's hand shaking going for the keys. Barbara then turned the ignition on, making Hannah what was her best friend doing.
"Barbara, like what are you doing?" Hannah asked confused.
"Hold on," Barbara mumbled.
"What?" Hannah asked, not hearing her best friend clearly.
"I said hold on," Barbara said, stepping on the gas pedal as she shift the truck to drive. At a whiplash, Barbara drove the truck through the barricade making her way through the terminal. Sounds of gunfire were heard in the back of the truck. Hannah, shocked at her best friend's sudden bravery, was covering her ears due to the loud bangs. The truck was able to drive through the entrance of the terminal, but another challenge was set there. They have to find a way to reach the ceiling to the terminal. They didn't have brooms so what will happen?
"Hey Hannah, do you think a levitation spell can work on a truck?" Barbara asked.
"Like yeah, why," said Hannah.
Barbara took out her wand. Hannah, understanding what she is planning to do, took hers out too and both cast a powerful levitation spell that lifted the truck through the portal. The portal ate the truck and the next thing they know was that they have enter Arctures Forest.
Authors Note:So I am probably going to hell for the Amanda part, but out of anything, I don't think that is out of character. Also personally I like all the characters in the show, so having Barbara becoming brave and frighten at the same time was an idea. Also Captain Imaginat, thank you for the idea of having the characters wear disguises, I thought that was a good idea, but instead of Constanze, I used to of the most unlikely people, Hannah and Barbara. This is all fun for me so I can't wait until the next chapter.
