Kagome didn't wait for an answer before making herself comfortable. She reached for Yoh's glass and sipped from his straw, an action that made Manta and Amidamaru blush and openly gape.

Yoh smiled, indifferent to the display, "So, what's up, Kagome?"

The girl promptly finished the drink before meeting Yoh's eyes, "I was actually tasked by the head of the Asakura family to watch over you."

For a split second, Yoh looked surprised. But he quickly recovered, "Ah, so you're here to help me recruit powerful spirits?"

"Nope," Kagome answered. "I've been tasked to watch you and observe your progress."
