Chapter 5 - Special Lesson
6.15.1204 - Tuesday
Exam season was always the quietest time at Thors. Towa knew it better than anyone, with this being her last year at Thors she couldn't let her grade slip up. Shame the same couldn't be said for Angelica. Even though she came to visit Towa in the Student Council room to study, it was clear to Towa that she wasn't studying at all.
Towa finally had enough and called out Angelica. "Angie, could you at least pretend to study? I could tell you've been staring out that window this whole time!"
Angelica turned to Towa with a grin. "Towa what you gain from staring at your books all day I gain from staring at all the cuties around us. Thors really went all out with the new recruits, the girls are to die for. Seeing them all stressed out over these exams makes me want to just get down there and help them relax. You know, like what you do with that Rean kid."
"Angie that's different, Rean only comes here to report his completion of requests for his Free Days. It's important that the Student Council knows how the student body and town population are being helped by Thors." Towa simply retorted.
"Is that why Rean only reports to you? Last I checked there were more members in the Student Council than just you. Don't tell me you're hogging Rean all to yourself?" Angelica asked.
Towa's face began to blush. "That is not the reason Angie! It's not my fault the other members go to their dorms at the exact time Rean finishes his requests and reports them here!"
Having felt that Towa had been teased enough Angelica decided to calm her down, it was then she took a peek from Towa's window to see the first-year that they were talking about earlier. He looked rather nervous just like all the other first-years. Looks like he needed help with a class and judging how he went inside the Student Union building, she could tell who he was coming to see in his time of need.
As expected, Towa and Angelica heard a knock on the door. "Excuse me, President Towa. I was wondering if you could help me with one of my classes?"
Before Towa could answer him, Angelica spoke up. "Come in Rean!"
Rean soon walked in and greeted Towa and Angelica and explained why he came to Towa for help. "First, I went to see if Vice-Principal Heinrich could help me study for my Political Economics exam, but he told me he was busy. Although he said you passed his exam with flying colors last year. Oh, but if you're busy with Angelica I can go elsewhere don't worry."
Rean quickly tried to close the door before Angelica ran up and pulled the door open. "Come in come in, we were studying ourselves. Feel free to join us."
The group sat by the table in front of Towa's desk and set down their study materials.
Towa did her best to answer all of Rean's questions, it was a surprisingly good way to test herself to see what she remembered. Angelica also gave Rean some good pointers like bringing up some of the recent laws being passed by the government. Towa had forgotten how Vice-Principal Heinrich included questions most students wouldn't be prepared for on the exam. She started to remember why he was so unpopular among the student body, including herself.
After an hour all of Rean's questions were answered. Towa invited him to stay and relax, but Rean declined her offer.
"I'm sorry. I appreciate the offer, but I think I should look for my classmates and help them with their issues. Trust me you've helped me enough today, thank you." Rean answered her politely.
While Towa was disappointed, she understood and told him she'll have her favorite tea ready for him next time.
Rean also thanked Angelica and wished them both luck with their exams before heading out of the Student Council room.
Towa and Angelica decided to go relax at the park. With Rean gone and Towa clearly disappointed by his absence, Angelica decided it was up to her to lighten the mood.
"You know Towa there was one other subject Rean was having trouble with. I'm surprised you haven't stepped up to help him with it." Angelica said with a slowly growing grin.
Towa was surprised to hear that. She felt that she gave a decent rundown of all of Rean's subjects, and to Rean's credit he seemed well versed in all his subjects.
Angelica then elaborated. "Poor Rean knows nothing about romance. You'd think someone as gifted by Aidios in the looks department like him would know a thing or two about romance. If Alisa's rants are to be believed his head is thicker than a brick wall. If only he had an equally unknowledgeable upperclassman. They could come together and learn together everything there is to romance. If you know what I mean."
Towa could only blush in response to what Angelica said. She was starting to get tired of her friends constantly teasing her. She needed to do something to stop her friends from continuing to tease her like that or else her face would stay a permanent shade of red.
Angelica continued to laugh, teasing Towa had become a bit of game between her and Crow. Then she turned to look at Towa again to see if she was still blushing. She was met with a calm Towa smiling at her with her eyes closed, yet Angelica could feel something was off.
"Ms. Rogner, as Student Council President it is my job to ensure the safety of all students of Thors. I've recently received reports from some of the first-year female students about a certain second-year student stalking them." Towa said calmly while surrounded in a dark aura.
"Towa-" Angelica tried to interject before getting cut off by Towa.
"It's President Herschel. Ms. Rogner you wouldn't happen to know the whereabouts of this second-year student by chance?" Towa continued. Her dark aura only grew larger.
Fearing for her life Angelica responded. "A-Alright I'm sorry! I won't bring up this conversation again! Plus, I'll go buy you some milk!"
The dark aura disappeared, but Towa's smile remained. "What conversation? We came to the park to relax and you generously offered to buy me some milk, right?"
"E-Exactly Pres- I mean Towa, I'll go get your milk!" Angelica answered nervously while running to get Towa her milk.
Towa took a deep breath as she saw Angelica run away. Looks like her plan worked, hopefully this would bring an end to her friends constantly teasing her about Rean.
