Feeling something wet hitting her face Larxene grumbled trying to smack the object away, but that didn't seem to work as it just came back seconds later. Ignoring the headache hitting her noggin she opened her eyes to see a small puppy a dalmatian was the source of that wetness and she was glad her mouth hadn't been open, or she'd instantly need some mouthwash. For a moment she considered smacking the dog away, but despite her lack of tolerance for people when it came to animals, she held a different opinion. Unlike more advanced beings' dogs did not hide who they truly were and did not earn immediate distrust, and at times she could even recall a few good memories back when she once had an animal companion. With a sigh she just chose to sit up so the pup would not lick her again and now able to get a good look at her surroundings and noticed she was right outside a large door that was cracked open which was no doubt where this little scamp came from. For a few moments the girl wondered how she got here when the memories came flooding back of her time on that Island, meeting Kairi, and nearly being sucked into that ball until her Keyblade shot out a beam. Thankfully it seemed she had arrived in Traverse Town as from what she could see she was in the Second District. Looking around she then spotted the red head who also seemed to be waking up. "Ugh. What happened?" Kairi questioned looking around at the new surroundings with confusion.

"Well from what I can tell it seems we got carted off to the World where all bums go when theirs gets destroyed." Her words blunt and to the point.

Kairi for the first few moments just marveled at the idea of being on another world the dream her, Sora, and Riku had for years, until the rest of the sentence sunk into her brain. "D-destroyed? You mean my home is gone?" Her words spoken with the tone of someone who did not desire the answer to that.

Of course, the nobody cared not for that and simply confirmed it. "Yep. Everything and everyone on your world probably got destroyed by the heartless, I'd say we're lucky we survived."

The news that she had just lost all of her loved ones and home did not sit well with the girl who looked down curling up into herself as she tried to process this information. "All of them gone, I'll never see them again." Her words a mere whisper as tears began to pour out of her eyes and her sobs could just barely be heard by the older girl. Now maybe a people person would have gone up to try and comfort the girl or at least offer words of sympathy, but asking that from Larxene was like asking for a truck load of munny to fall down into your lap. Even Elrena her somebody had never been good with people always having trouble understanding them or speaking the right words, and now without a heart all Larxene could do was just rub the back of her neck awkwardly. "W-what am I going to do now?" Her voice almost broken as even the puppy's best attempts to help the crying child were all for naught.

As the minutes passed the Savage Key was tempted to just leave the girl as just being near Kairi right now made her feel strange and confused at what to do. She could just run away back to her room and continue life as if this never happened, but despite attempting to her feet wouldn't move held down by an unknowable force. It was so easy to deny emotions that was why she felt glad to lack a heart, but now in front of her own eyes she saw just how horrible a heart could be and it reminded her of the days when she had one. In a way Larxene couldn't help but draw so many parallels between this girl's situation and her somebody's. All alone with no one to turn to in a dirty alley bawling their eyes out, in a way it made the nobody just want to rip this reminder of her past apart from limb to limb. Strip the flesh from her bone and finally be free of all these horrible thoughts, but she didn't because deep inside she knew she couldn't. Somewhere inside the last vestiges of who she had been that the Savage Key spent so long keeping down had been ripped back open ever since she had gotten this infernal Keyblade, and no matter how hard she tried it would not be suppressed like that again.

"Let's go get something to eat." At first Larxene had wondered where that came from, but then she realized those words had come out of her own mouth without her knowledge, yet somehow that seemed to break through Kairi's own sadness as now the girl looked up her teary eyes full of confusion. "(Why did I say that?!)" But Larxene had no answer and only seconds to explain why she did to the girl in front of her. "I-I mean come on. I know I haven't eaten in a while and who knows when you did either. So, I say let's grab a bite since I'm starving." She shrugged.

The awkwardness of that statement only got worse as the moments passed with Kairi unsure how to even react. Thankfully her stomach seemed to do that for her making a loud grumble signaling it needed to eat. Wiping her face, the girl shakily got to her feet trying and mostly failing to compose herself but at least that was showing progress. "U-um yes... I-I'd like that." Her words thankful for the offer and the two headed towards The First District together.

Currently Sora who had woken up a few minutes ago found himself talking with the one he had apparently fell on from the sky. After profusely apologizing for it the dog waved it off his good nature not at all blaming the boy for that mishap. "Why if everyone got angry when I accidentally hurt them then I wouldn't have any friends left." This eased the boy's concerns and the two fell into a simple conversation until the door opened and in walked a small mouse. "Oh, hiya your highness." The Captain of the Guard waved the title to show respect but by his tone it was obvious the two were longtime friends.

As for the mouse herself she smiled at her friend. "I'm glad to see you are unhurt Goofy." She then turned to their guest. "And you must be the one who just arrived here, allow me to introduce myself. I am Queen Minnie Mouse and you have arrived at Disney Castle perhaps the safest place in all the worlds." She greeted.

Sora unsure of how to introduce himself to a Queen awkwardly tried to do so. "It's nice to meet you Queen Minnie, um sorry for barging in I'm not exactly sure how I got here. To be honest the last thing I remember was fighting this weird creature on my island with this strange new thing I got I think it was called a Keyblade." He said remembering what that strange voice had called it before the full memory of what happened struck him. "Wait what happened to my home, and how did I get here?!" His voice now a bit panicked as he worried about the events.

Thankfully Minnie was quick to answer her tone being that of a gentle mother as she hoped to calm him down. "It's alright Sora just take things one step at a time. Your home I am sorry to say has been swallowed by the darkness, but it may not be lost forever with your help, and as for how you arrived, I am unsure. If you can please tell us all you can of what happened as concisely as you can." This did seem to settle the boy slightly as he took a deep breath and at the same time Donald entered just in time to hear the story.

He had then told of how a raging storm had come to his home of Destiny Islands and went to check it out, upon getting to the smaller island he had seen his friend Riku speaking to a strange man in a robe before the two disappeared right before he could get to his friend. After that the black creatures or as the three informed him heartless had attacked him and nearly killed him if not for the Keyblade saving him. "That's when I fought this huge one before the two of us nearly got sucked into this huge dark ball, I thought it was the end for me until suddenly my Keyblade lit up and shot a beam. Next thing I know it combined with another one and together they destroyed the thing and I passed out."

That last part earned a curious eye from Minnie who began to think about the past week with her husband. While that was going on Donald was already envisioning what to do next now that they had the Key Mickey described in his letter. "Whelp now that you're here it's time to get to work. First thing we gotta do is get you trained to fight these heartless better."

That's when Goofy decided to speak up. "But Donald didn't The King say to find Leon first in Traverse Town?"

But that only earned a snort from Donald. "Aw phooey. That was only because he thought that Leon guy would know how to find the Key, but since he's here that's just a waste of time." The duck insisted allowing his own arrogance to decide the next course of action rather than follow the letter to the word.

Meanwhile Minnie in the few minutes she had to think remembered Mickey mentioned what him and Yen Sid had discussed about, and after Sora's story a new thought was coming to her. "Sora. Was that the first time you had used your Keyblade?" Upon receiving a nod although she was no expert the Queen who was known to be very wise second only to her husband had concluded, "I believe you are not the only one who has awakened their power Sora, that second beam of light you mentioned before could have also come from another Keyblade Wielder."

At that Donald's jaw dropped a bit surprised by this idea. "You mean there's another Key out there we need to find?" The thought making the Duck hope that was not the case as it would just make things a lot harder.

Meanwhile Sora was practically wearing a giant question mark on his head completely confused by everything being said. "Um, can someone tell me what's a Keyblade and why it's so important?" He asked earning everyone's attention who just realized they had yet to explain of the boy's importance.

With a warm smile the Queen decided to explain before continuing their conversation. "Of course. You see in this world there are two main powers known as darkness in light constantly in struggle against each other, it's not known when or how but many consider the Keyblade as a force created to keep the two from destroying one another. It is a tool meant to protect the worlds and fight against the heartless that act as agents of darkness created by those who lose their own hearts to it and feast on the hearts of others. Unlike normal weapons a Key chooses its master when they deem them to possess a strong heart and become Keyblade Wielders. Unfortunately, there are very few out there making it a difficult task and why the worlds are currently being swallowed whole by the darkness, perhaps because of this destiny has decided to bring a new surge of them to stop this threat. My husband believed one had surfaced sometime recently, and now you have as well. I can only hope it is a sign that the tide in this war is turning towards the lights favor."

Even for someone intelligent academia wise it would take a while to understand everything, but Sora who thought more with his heart than head found himself having trouble grasping it all. Eventually though the kid did manage after simplifying the explanation a bit. "So basically, what you're saying is I've just been chosen like someone else to face these monsters and save the day?"

Goofy let out a laugh at that patting the boy on the back. "You've got that right Sora, but don't worry cause me and Donald are gonna help ya along the way cause now we're your friends." At that the boy felt a little better knowing he at least had two people he could count on as they seemed trustworthy enough.

But there was one other thing he worried about. "But what about Riku and Kairi? Do you think they are alright too?"

At that Minnie had the perfect answer for the boy. "Just trust in your heart Sora, if it says they are fine then I'm sure they are."

Bringing a hand to his chest the boy felt confident they were and could smile hopeful he would find them. "Then I'll find them and help you guys stop these heartless." With that settled the four began to plan their next move now that the team of three who would set out had been decided.

Now in the Traverse Town Pub the two had just gotten their food with Kairi ordering some chicken soup while Larxene snacked on a bacon cheese chocoboburger which she happily dug into finding the greasy delight far better than the usual meals fixed at The Castle That Never Was. Xemnas could have some pretty strict guidelines for what to eat as he didn't want his followers to get fat and lazy so meals like this were not allowed. Over the course of the meal the blond explained what the heartless were and why they attacked people. Meanwhile the red head tried to hide her disgust at the lack of manners from her companion who just wolfed it down without a care in the world. Of course, she was no fine dining expert but compared to Larxene she at least acted like she was taught some table manners. After finishing off her meal the girl let out a loud burp and sighed contently satisfied now that her stomach was full. "Think I just may have found me a new favorite food."

Kairi meanwhile wondered about her new companion realizing she knew very little about what was going on and who this person even was. "Um so how come you seem so familiar with this place? I mean you knew where to find somewhere safe and a place to eat at so do you live here?"

Pausing her musings Larxene once again had to think fast as she couldn't exactly reveal the truth to the girl or else there was a ninety-nine percent chance when Saix found out he'd obliterate her for giving out the Organization's secrets even if she was their perceived chosen one. "Well uh yea that's it. Been living here for about a week and so I know about enough about this place." The lie coming easy to her and as she saw had Kairi fooled.

What she hadn't expected was that the girl would now gain a look of sadness once more. "Does that mean your world was destroyed too?" Ah so that explained it, seemed the red head now felt sorry for the blond which Larxene was internally glad for as it would make the fibs, she spoke much easier to buy. With a shrug she confirmed that to be the case. "I-I'm sorry to hear that."

But much to her surprise the Savage Key just laughed as if she had heard a joke instead of sympathy. "Eh the world was pretty horrible anyway, so I say good riddance." The islander was unsure of what to even say to that, to know someone could just shrug off losing everything as if it was nothing implied a lot of things she did not have the capacity or expertise to dive into.

So instead she just decided to ask the other question that had been on her mind. "So… uh how did you get to my world?"

Thankfully this one was much easier to answer honestly and Larxene brought out her Keyblade earning quite a number of stares from the patrons who did not enjoy a weapon now being handled in their eatery, but the nobody didn't give a flying hoot about that and just continued. "Well ya see this little do-dad summoned some sort of portal and took me to your Destiny Islands. Next thing I know we meet, that heartless attacked, and now we're eating. And before you ask no I don't exactly know what this is, just that it came to me when fighting those creeps and it makes an excellent weapon against them." Now that she did choose to lie about since it was easier than trying to come up with a story on how she knew anything about it or gained this knowledge. After a few more minutes of silence Larxene did remember that today she planned to pick up that Ribbon for Luxord. "After this I need to stop by the accessory shop, you can come with me if you want since you did help me out back there against that Officer. if you got the munny we can get you some gear so I'm not doing all the work fighting these heartless."

Considering this it wasn't like Kairi had any other options but checking her pockets she saw she had very little munny in them since any she had saved up was now all gone. "I'm not sure I can even afford much after paying for this meal." She embarrassingly admitted.

But Larxene seemed unperturbed by that and simply whispered. "Ever heard of dine n dash? Bet we could just book it right now and get away without payin." Her grin signaling it was something she was good at.

Except Kairi balked at this suggestion. "That's practically stealing!" Her words loud enough to be heard and Larxene could see the others in the pub now give a suspicious look.

Now the girl was no stranger to fighting but considering the circumstances and she had no idea how to get off this town making enemies was not the way to go. So she just played it off laughing once more. "Aw you know I was just kidding, why I'd never think of doing something like that. "Expectedly Kairi never bought it but it did seem to appease the patrons and soon the two paid with the older of them grumbling as her pockets now got lighter. Oh, how she wished she had her coat which held most of her munny as well. "Thanks for that because lord knows I enjoy being poor." She groaned earning an eyeroll from Kairi.

"Better than being morally wrong." Her words true yet only a frown from the Savage Key who had long since stopped caring about such concepts. What the two hadn't noticed was a certain flower girl was now watching them who had also been eating at the pub and saw the weapon of legend for herself. She also knew that soon there was going to be a big fight and it was probably best to make sure the younger girl didn't get caught up in the crossfire.

Back with Larxene and Kairi who were still bickering they had arrived at the accessory shop. "Well don't expect me to pay for your stuff so if you can't afford any of it then that's on you." Her tone final as they entered seeing Cid who eyed both. "You got my Ribbon ready?"

The man reached down fumbling around for it before pulling the object out dropping it on his table. "Yea it's right here, so who's the other kid?" He asked wondering if this would present a problem for Leon.

Larxene just shrugged as she rifled through her pockets to get the munny out. "Her name's Kairi she's pretty new to this whole thing so she'll be needing some equipment." Handing the man her munny to pay for it the blond was glad to have it, now she just had to find a way back to the Castle. "I'm gonna wait outside while you go shopping. Try to find something of worthwhile you're here." She smirked at her comment and planned to take her time alone to plan out her next move since currently she was not advanced enough to simply dark corridor her way around. Getting outside she figured she had to get a ship, but that seemed next to impossible as she hadn't seen one around to hijack, and even then with ole goody two shoes hanging around her that made it even more difficult. "Maybe I can use this." She pulled Dark Desolation out looking it over before pointing it in front of her trying to summon a portal only for nothing to happen. "Should have known it wouldn't be that easy." Suddenly her ears heard the sound of footsteps and turned to see a man with way too many belts and a strange looking sword looking at her intently. "Something I can do for you or are my good looks just that captivating?" She joked while gripping her blade tightly unsure of what was about to happen.

"The heartless will never stop coming as long as you are destined to use the Keyblade." Now she was surprised. Larxene had thought only a few would know about this not some random biker looking weirdo with the oddest looking weapon she'd ever seen now that she noticed it also had a gun attached to it like some sort of monster movie where the creator just fuses two random things together. As she had these thoughts, he continued his words taking a few steps forward. "They do it because they fear the Keyblade, because they know it is the tool that can beat them back and save the worlds."

If she thought he couldn't have said anything weirder well she had just stood corrected as now her eyes held a great deal of confusion and skepticism. "Ok look here buddy I don't know what you're yammering on about but I'm no savior. Now if you'll just take your little stupid toy sword gun or whatever and beat it I can get on with my life."

That didn't seem to go over with the man who now brought his weapon out. "Alright, looks like we'll have to do this the hard way." And suddenly the man jumped at her.

Larxene quickly got over her surprise now getting into her stance ready to fight. Swinging Dark Desolation, the two blades combined with this stranger having the strength advantage as expected his weapon bearing down on her as she was forced to go on the defensive. Hopping back to gain some distance her back immediately hit a wall and now unable to rely on your usual tactics simply tried to defend. Leon meanwhile went on the offensive his movements relying on powerful blows as he raised his sword high using his height advantage to bring it down hard almost instantly breaking Larxene's guard. The girl had neither the strength nor the leverage to force him away and so performed a desperate roll to her right managing to momentarily evade the man as she stood back up. Taking a second to check her surroundings a bout of dread began to set in as the Savage Key realized something, this man was a genius in fighting, and she was outsmarted from the moment this battle began.

He had intentionally lured her to this area in order to corner her and downplay any advantages she could get with her agility in speed by trapping her in this narrow alley. But then she spotted a box right behind her leading to a more open area and prepared to jump on it, until she noticed at the corner of her eye a spark emit from her opponent and saw the man had summoned a fireball. "HA!" He shouted and again she was forced to evade side-stepping to the right, and now the box from before was on fire meaning her escape right now was a total bust. As for Leon he found himself severely disappointed by the current display of skill from the supposed Keyblade Master he had heard in legends. She was an amateur at best easily being led into his trap, but even ignoring that her swordsmanship was of a novice unable to even properly defend herself when he had taken things slow and easy just to test her abilities. "I can't believe the Keyblade would choose someone like you."

That comment irked Larxene, just like so many other people had across her lives she had been dismissed. To be brushed aside by this stranger someone who had no business doing so made her fingers dig into her palm and Leon felt a subtle change around them one he could not identify. Before he even realized what was happening the blond lunged right at him bringing her blade for a diagonal swipe the ferocity too much to be properly prepared for and now, he was momentarily sent on the defensive. Her attack was wild and normally Leon would already have a counter ready, but he had not expected her speed leaving him no time to perform a proper parry. Being on the back foot also had one more unintended side effect for Leon as the two grew close to the fire the flames burning hotly making both sweat as Larxene continued her assault trying to find a hole in his defenses, but the gunblade specialist had been trained far too well to be taken down by a surprise move.

Eventually an opportunity did come for Squall as he managed to push the blond back with his strength giving himself a chance to breath. Knowing she needing to get out of this trap Larxene chose to take a page from Luxord and make a risky gamble as the man prepared to strike she unexpectedly tossed Dark Desolation in a horizontal angle scrapping the walls as it went to slice his head from the neck. With only seconds to save himself Leon ducked managing to avoid it but giving her the chance she needed. Running towards the man she leaped high in the air right as the man noticed her strategy and hastily brought his sword up to try and hit her only managing to graze her leg without delivering any serious damage. Landing on her feet Larxene quickly grabbed her Keyblade and ran out from the alley.

By this time Kairi was exiting the store and looked to her right to see her companion dashing to her and before she could ask what was wrong Larxene grabbed her hand. "We gotta get out of here!" Being led down the steps before they could leave suddenly the two were stopped by a brunette carrying a flower basket and a staff. "Out of the way lady!" She barked.

But the woman refused to move just looking at them with a playful smile before reaching into her basket presenting two flowers to them. "For you my last yellow flower a souvenir from my home world that I hope you get to go to someday. It's been through many hard times but still remains strong despite everything and even though it's beginning to wilt I just know all it needs is the right catalyst to bloom once more." She handed it to Larxene who now was just completely puzzled as she hung it from her pocket. "And for you an Arum. It represents not only purity but a strong light that I can feel in you young lady." Taking it Kairi smiled thanking the flower girl.

That's when again the Savage Key heard footsteps and looked back to see the man approaching her his sword still drawn. "You might want to get out of the way Aerith, I doubt the two of us will be able to keep things contained." Next thing Larxene knew that flower girl grabbed Kairi's hand and led the two of them away despite some protests. "Are you ready to continue Keyblade Master?" His question like a silent test to determine just who he was facing.

No longer having the desire to run the Savage Key got back into her stance and this time prepared herself. "Of course, I'm not gonna be beat by some overly dressed wanna be biker reject." Her snark coming out loud and proud. With another leap the two continued their sword fight while from the darkness a certain sorceress of all evil watched with a small amount of interest at the display already considering how to get these two pests out of her way.

AN: Well we've come to the near end of the Traverse Town Saga which shall end next chapter and we can get on to the real adventure. For anyone wondering as I've seen in a review or two yes there will be new original Disney Worlds since well when you have two teams going on an adventure means we get a chance to explore some more unique places that the games sadly won't. If any of you have suggestions for Worlds feel free to suggest some whether it be movies or a Disney show as there are many that would make great material like a certain small town in Oregon full of mystery and weirdness.
