Things for team Lightyear were normally calm one day and exciting another. Warpnia at the moment had a lot on her mind. Thinking about what happened in the past was weighing on her. She was also thinking about the future it felt like something was holding her back but what? She didn't know what it was to be exact she was determined to find the answer.

They were on their ship 42 and things were going smoothly. Then something came in. "Buzz it's a distress signal and a communication I will try to make it out," Emily said.

"Help us please," they heard. "Somebody anybody we need help," they heard.

"This is space ranger Emily Wild what is wrong?" Emily asked.

"Our space ship has crashed-stuck on planet-need help-supplies about to run out," they heard.

"The message is pretty scrambled," Booster said.

"I got a lock on their coordinates," Warpnia said.

"Great now let's go," Buzz said.

"Don't worry we are coming so sit tight," Emily said.

The made it to the planet. "We have to be careful this could be a trap," Buzz said.

They started to look around. Booster found some jagged pieces of metal. "Hey look at this," Booster said.

"I see it," Rocket said.

"Yes I do too, it looks like a piece from a star command ship," Ty said.

Warpnia and Buzz were looking deep in the forest. "Warpnia you are awfully quiet is everything alright?" Buzz asked.

"I just have a lot on my mind," Warpnia answered.

"I see," Buzz said. "I'm sure it will clear up eventually," he said.

Then they heard something and they saw a familiar face. "Bonnie Lepton," Buzz said.

"Buzz Lightyear," Bonnie said. Then she saw Warpnia. "Warpnia Darkmatter you're alive, Buzz was right about it," she said.

"Yes and I am glad to be back and Buzz and I are engaged," Warpnia said.

"That's great I always knew you two would get together," Bonnie said. "Follow me my father needs help," she said. They followed Bonnie to a shelter. There was Professor Spyro Lepton on a bed.

"Bonnie you're back," Spyro said. He saw Buzz. "Buzz you're here, and Warpnia you're alive," he said when saw Warpnia.

"Yes everyone was worried when you guys didn't come back when you guys left for that solo research mission," Buzz said. "What happened?" he asked.

"Zurg fired on our ship and we lost control and crashed on this planet have been here all this time," Spyro said.

"I was fine but dad got hurt," Bonnie said.

"The crash paralyzed my legs," Spyro said.

"Oh dear," Warpnia said. "I remember all the horrible things Zurg did while was his prisoner such as mind controlling me but this is the icing on the cake," she said.

"We will help you and take you both back to Star command," Buzz said.

"Thank you Buzz," Bonnie said.

Then they heard something. Bonnie looked out the window and saw the rest of team Lightyear. She let them in. "Bonnie and Spyro Lepton?" Ty asked.

"I can hardly believe it," Rocket said.

"Hello Rocket Crockett and Ty Parsec," Spyro said.

"Bonnie and Spyro these are new members of our team this is Mira and Fop they are from Tangea, this is Booster he's from Jo-ad, this is Emily Wild she's from Animalia, and this is XR the LGMs built him." Buzz said.

"Nice to meet all of you," Spyro said.

"Now let's get the two of you out of here," Buzz said. "Now Booster pick up Professor Spyro and carry him carefully he can't walk," he said.

"Yes Buzz," Booster said and did as he was told.

They started to walk through the forest. They heard something. Suddenly a bird came up. "Hello little bird what is it?" Emily asked. It started chirping as if telling them something.

"What is the bird saying Emily?" Buzz asked.

"It is saying Zurg is here," Emily said.

"The bird is right he's over there," Rocket said pointing to a clearing.

"I want to find Spyro Lepton and I want to do it now I need his research," Zurg said when they saw him. Then the hornets appeared behind them and fired. The team came out of hiding. "Ah Lightyear," he said. "Hornets destroy them and bring me Professor Lepton," he said.

They started to fight the hornets. Warpnia still had so much on her mind she wasn't fully paying attention. Buzz pushed her out the way. "Warpnia get your head in the game," Buzz said. "What is with you today?" he asked.

"It's just so much has happened to me in my life recently, first being Zurg's prisoner and then his mind controlled slave for years and then being rescue by you and saving the universe and then becoming a team again then we started dating and now we are engage so much has happened and I feel like something is holding me back like my past is before now as Zurg's mind controlled slave is holding me back," Warpnia said.

"Warpnia you know it wasn't your fault," Buzz said. "Everyone who knows you, knows you were under his control and couldn't break it until then when you found the strength to do so, you are still a space ranger to the core," he said.

Warpnia realized Buzz was right. "You're right I am the only thing holding myself back because I should let that go and now I am ready, let's do this," she said.

The fight continued and the hornets were destroyed and team Lightyear escaped. "Curse you Buzz Lightyear!" Zurg shouted.

They head back to Star command everyone was glad to see Bonnie and professor Lepton again. Meanwhile Warpnia was in the women's locker room so relieved and feeling free. She decided it was time for a change. She got out a pair of scissors and let her hair loose and started cutting.

A bit later. "Where is Warpnia we are about to head to Cosmo's?" Rocket asked.

Warpnia came up. "Hey," she said.

All them saw. "What do you all think?" she asked. Her hair was in a undercut pixie cut with long bangs on the right.

"You're hair," Emily said.

"What did you do?" Rocket asked.

"You cut most of it off!" Booster exclaimed.

"I thought you liked your hair long," Ty said.

"I thought it was time for a change, I like it," Warpnia said.

"I like it too you look very beautiful," Buzz said.

"Thanks Buzz," Warpnia said. "Come on let's go Cosmo's is waiting," she said.

The team headed out.
