I really appreciated it and this gave me inspiration to work on the next chapter and here the situation escalates as the unexplained phenomenon started to spread to other parts of the city…whilst the Naegi siblings and Maizono tries to survive and escape the unexplained chaos…
And now more are being victimized...

Ch. 5: Kaosu wa sarani gekika
Elsewhere, the scene shifts at the streets where the Crazy Diamond Gang is watching in disbelief after seeing how inanimate objects coming to life and move on its own, such as appliances attacking people using its cord and strangle its victims.
Another scene shows that vending machine firing cans at passing pedestrians and struck them on their head, seriously injuring the victims while others died on the spot due to ranging impacts of the attacks, and then cars move without drivers and would crash at other pedestrians and other vehicles with people.
Mondo Ohwada was staring in disbelief at what he is seeing, with Takemichi Yukimaru wondered if the appliances and vehicles are getting possessed, which Ohwada asked if he is serious about what he just said.
"Wha…what did you say…?"
"Think about it, boss…"
"…"
"What if they're possessed…?"
"As in…?"
"You know…ghosts…"
"There's no damn way this would happen!"
"But…"
Then a group of travelers are seen running for their lives as they are being chased by an SUV that they were using several minutes ago before the vehicle came to life and started to assault the passengers, which killed the driver a while ago and this spooked the passengers and began to scamper for safety, terrified at what they just witnessed.
Then a traveling evangelist is seen standing there and proclaimed that the world is coming to an end and that Kami-sama is PUNISHING the people for being impure and said that what is happening right now is justified and deserved that life must come to an end due to the world being filled with SINNERS.
Ohwada did not like what he heard and berated the evangelist, saying that not everyone is impure and that there are those who are kind-hearted, yet the evangelist insists that all life must end regardless, saying that Kami-sama has the right to end life he sees fit, which Ohwada and Yukimaru disagree.
"I say this to you…Kami-sama is PUNISHING the world!"
"Are you damn crazy?"
"Do you even know what you're saying?"
"Yes! The second coming is upon us!"
"This guy is damn nuts…"
"He's not worth the bother, boss…"
"The world is ending! SINNERS must be purged!"
"…"
"…"
There Komaru is seen pedaling the bicycle and is riding as fast as she could, with Makoto and Maizono following, and there the evangelist wrongly used the two teens as example of impurity by claiming that Makoto and Maizono are engaging in elopement by riding on the same bicycle and head to a motel to have sex, which Ohwada grabbed the foolish evangelist and tells him he cannot judge someone based on what he saw, but the evangelist insists that what he sees is an example of people embracing sinful ways, much to Ohwada and Yukimaru's irritation.
"Are you damn crazy?"
"Do you even know what you're saying?"
"Yes! The second coming is upon us! You just saw that! Teenagers are engaging in immoral acts! Sex before marriage! Now that boy is amassing a harem before us! This world must indeed be purged as Kami-sama wills it to his image!"
"This guy is damn nuts…he really is a moron!"
"He's not worth the bother, boss…he is really a fanatic instead of as preacher…"
"The world is ending! SINNERS must be purged! All life must come to an end!"
"…"
"…"
Fed up with the evangelist's fanatical attitude, Yukimaru tells Ohwada to ignore him and they should leave and see if anyone needs help, stating that the evangelist is not worth the time to argue with as he has no idea what is going on and that all he does is look down on people, which Ohwada agreed and the two assembled their gang members and tells them that they are going to see if people need help, which the gang members agreed.

As the Crazy Diamond Gang took their leave, the evangelist continue his fanatical preaching and insisted that Kami-sama is PUNISHING the people here, until a Volkswagen appeared behind the evangelist and honked its horn aloud, causing the man to jump forward and there he believed that there is a driver inside and berated the vehicle.
However, the Volkswagen moved back and there the evangelist saw that there is no one inside and seeing the vehicle moving by itself, he believed that the vehicle is being possessed by an evil spirit and started to chant exorcism words, believing that Kami-sama is on his side and can perform miracles.
However, he noticed that he is being surrounded by three more Volkswagen cars, and he became terrified as he begged for mercy, only for the vehicles to ram and crush each other, killing the evangelist in the process.

Meanwhile, the scene shifts at a dojo where two sports-minded friends, Sakura Ohgami and Aoi Asahina, are meditating and are having a relaxing time, feeling that today is a good day to train their mind and body, so that they would be in sync and be prepared for any physical activities.
However, Aoi's younger brother, Yuta, came and told his elder sister and Ohgami about the situation and showed them his smartphone where the live news is shown, and there Aoi appeared to be in disbelief at what she saw just now.
She asked Yuta if this is really news or if he just tuned in on a reality show like Just For Laughs, which Yuta denied, saying that they are watching live news.
"What?"
"You heard me, onee-chan!"
"…"
"Vehicles…equipment…even the ATM... they're moving by themselves!"
"Are you serious?"
"Yes!"
"You better not be fooled into watch those gag shows…"
"I'm not!"
As the Asahina siblings argued, Ohgami went outside and saw the chaos on the streets, where a lawnmower and a stream roller are moving by themselves and attack hapless people, and there she realized that something is amiss, and she went back to the dojo and told Aoi that Yuta is telling the truth.
Ohgami tells the Asahina siblings that something is amiss as she said that she observed the stream roller which it seemed to have a life of its own as it moves to where its target is and attacks them when in range, and Aoi couldn't believe what she just heard.
"Are you serious, Sakura-chan?"
"Yes."
"But…"
"Your brother is telling the truth."
"…"
"Everything outside is chaotic at the moment."
"For real?"
"Yes."
Suddenly a loud crash is heard, and the trio went outside where they saw the stream roller partially demolished the wall and is trying to get inside, and seeing that no one is controlling the vehicle, Ohgami suspect that the stream roller is being controlled somehow, and suggested that they get out of here while the steam roller is still stuck.
As the trio went to another exit, they stealthily travel the road until they saw two parked bicycles and they reluctantly took them with Ohgami riding the first one while the Asahina siblings rode the other, and they began to pedal away and in the minutes that passed, they saw more inanimate objects are moving by themselves, such as vending machines, cars, and even appliances.
The objects attack people within range and would not stop until their targets are dead, and Aoi couldn't believe what she just witnessed and there Ohgami tells her that they would have to keep pedaling until they find a safe place to stay and hide until they figure out what is going on.
"That's what we do for now."
"…"
"We have no choice in this matter."
"I…"
"If we are to survive…we…"
"Okay…"
"Good."
"…"
However, an unmanned taxi suddenly moved on its own and began to follow the three teens, and it intend to ran them over, which Aoi and Yuta noticed it and the siblings became terrified which Ohgami thought fast and noticed that a grassy park is nearby and tells the siblings to follow her.
The trio went there and as Ohgami thought, the taxi followed and there Ohgami led the taxi towards a spot and stayed there, and only moved out of the way at the last second, and the unmanned taxi unknowingly rammed onto a street post, damaging it's engine and rendering it unable to move.
There Ohgami tells the Asahina siblings to follow her as they are going to find a place to stay and figure out what is going on and why this is happening, which Aoi and Yuta agreed without question.

Elsewhere, two female teenagers are on the run, as they too witnessed the unexplained situation that happened before their eyes, as vehicles, appliances and other inanimate objects are coming to life and for some reason they are targeting people regardless of age, which they saw an ATV ram over a one-year old child and kept on attacking the child until the target is killed.
Then saw a vending machine firing cans and struck people when in range, and then sound systems attack customers using its cords to strangle their targets and so on, with reckless abandon.
The two female teenagers, who were aspiring detectives, are identified as Kyoko Kirigiri and Yui Sumidare, and they are on the run after seeing vehicles and machines attacking people, which Kirigiri sees that something is amiss as inanimate objects couldn't just come to life and attack people.
Sumidare agreed, though she suggested that perhaps some DIVINE INTERVENTION might play a role here, which Kirigiri beg to disagree as she believed that what Sumidare insinuating doesn't make sense.
"Are you watching too much horror movies?"
"No…"
"Then why are you suggesting…?"
"Think about it, Kyoko...how would cars and equipment come to life all of the sudden…?"
"…"
"This is something you have to consider…"
"Only if evidence suggest, onee-sama…"
"Okay, Kyoko..."
Suddenly, the two girls saw a group of nuns are running for their lives and they appeared to be terrified while chanting prayers, as they prayed for safety as they are being chased by a Jeep that carries a built-in machine gun, and the two female detectives saw that the jeep is moving on its own without a driver.
Kirigiri is at loss of words at seeing this while she and Sumidare hid behind a huge mailbox, and there the two teenagers stared wide-eyed as the Jeep opened fire, riddling the nuns with bullets as they scream at being shot down.
"AAAAIIIIEEEE!"
"GGGGYYYYAAAHHHH!"
"AAAAIIIIEEEE!"
"GGGGYYYYAAAHHHH!"
"AAAAIIIIEEEE!"
"GGGGYYYYAAAHHHH!"
"AAAAIIIIEEEE!"
"GGGGYYYYAAAHHHH!"
Both Kirigiri and Sumidare were shocked at seeing this and are trying to comprehend how this is happening as no one is physically controlling the Jeep or the gun, and Sumidare said that unless someone uses a device that control vehicle, they will have to assume that DIVINE INTERVENTION is behind this, even though Kirigiri still refuses to believe what Sumidare is suggesting.
"There you have it…"

"Do you believe me now? I think that supernatural presence might…"
"No. There's no such thing as supernatural possession."
"Really, Kyoko…"
"Unless there's proof…"

Hope you liked this chapter, as the next terror struck in another area within the city…and this time more people are caught in the terrifying incident that is twice as horrifying than what occurred in the last chapter…
This chapter got a bit more violent and bloody, as scores of people are killed off…and it was random that the inanimate objects do not choose its victims…they attack anything it sees within range…
More Danganronpa characters appeared, and they would play a significant role in the upcoming chapters…
